Lovely food. Good sized portions. A la carte menu food very tasty. Not a buffet person but plenty of people enjoying the full range of food on offer. Recommend.

Excellent value buffet with lots of different choice. Absolutely stuffed when I finished. Staff friendly and helpful.

Been going to taste for around 10 years on a regular basis. Sharon owner & Carlos manager great hosts always attentive, friendly & welcoming. Great value for money with plenty of choice on buffet. Meal deals are excellent 5 drinks & buffet for 26 quid. Usually what we go for no where can beat it on price. Great wee atmosphere in restaurant, always busy , food is always fresh. Here's looking to another 10 years.

Went here tonight for dinner with the family. Great selection in their buffet and very reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We visited for the first time, wanting to try a new Indian restaurant. When we drove into the street, we were shocked at how run down everything was. The exterior has seen better days & if I was the manager I'd have sent some staff out for 20 mins to pick up the litter around the place, wouldn't have taken long but would have made a big difference. Inside was little better. The foyer & stairs were cold & the stairs were filthy. The restaurant itself is very tired looking with an awful carpet, furniture & decoration. Apart from being a bit cold & lacking salt, the food was okay. However, because of the very poor surroundings I didn't have too much of an appetite.

This is by far the best Indian cuisine I have ever tried! Amazing staff and quality food, 10/10 👌👌👌👌

Called to book table for 7pm was advised really busy so earliest could do was 8pm, arrived and restaurant was very quiet only 3/4 tables full. We had done buffet deal, waiter was excellent very friendly and helpful. At 8:53 we were advised buffet was going off and asked if we had our main meal - asked if this was ending? Was told yes due temperature and no fresh put out (food not issue ) we jus felt rushed, Then hoovering etc started around 9pm…….. staff were cleaning around us, when highlighted to us gave different closing times of 11pm but then stated 10:30 would be better for them (we had purchased drinks tokens which hadn’t been used) we had went for family evening out - but full time felt rushed, as if we were an inconvenience not paying customers. I feel we should have been told this information at time booking as we then possible would made different plans - won’t be returning anytime soon.

I hate to write this review and on reflection I should maybe have spoken up at the time! Taste is our go to for an Indian takeaway meal and has been for many a year but Christmas day was such a let down. Ordered Turkey with all the trimmings for our son, meal was disgusting to be blunt. Processed Turkey squares? and dried up potatoes. Only thing which was good was the brussels. To charge that price was an outrage!. Waiters were tired we understand that but forgetting to ask for our order? Okay so many people opted for a buffet but come on if you have al la carte bookings be attentive please. No table coverings, waiters don't open the wine or Prosecco and cutlery comes wrapped in sellotape to the point you can't seperate them. Come on Taste you can do better. Sorry won't be back.

After a disappointing experience at another indian restaurant ,we were recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food choice was excellent and the starters awesome! We used the Buffet and the food was plentiful and hot ! Good mix of families and couples and everybody seemed relaxed and enjoying their experience! Service was polite and friendly . Over stuffed myself with starters but it was worth it as haggis pakora and vegetable pakora are to die for !

Been to this restaurant many times over the years. First time back since covid and was pleased to see that the standard of food was still good, whole family enjoyed the buffet. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Only disappointment was they no longer do a soup as a starter in the buffet as this was always very nice. Otherwise great meal out and would fully recommend this restaurant especially for their buffet. Great value and excellent variety.

The food was good. Tasty. Was not very hot. Service ok . Mid range score due to response of management on the night. A crowd was in and very noisy and swearing. I asked if management could ask them to lower the volume snd reduce swearing Offered another table but that would not have helped Management declined to speak with crowd. We couldn’t hear ourselves speak so decided to leave. No apology or recompense. Poor show really.

Where to start?Trying to get into the car park without wrecking your car is a test in itself,once inside that's another story,the back wall of the restaurant was thick with dust along the top of the cornice,the side wall has water ingress at the top...

I had a meal with Groupon voucher along with family...and it turned out to be the worst meal for a long long time. The ambiance wasn't great but all the staff we interacted with was welcoming and courteous. The food was a total disaster. Everyone in the group absolutely hated everything on the buffet. The selection was ok, but no taste at all. Terrible dishes, very bad experience (foodwise). We won't be back!

Had the buffet lunch & it was great. Good selection of curries which had chicken tikka in them. Kids are chicken burgers of their menu & loved them. Class place & great value for money.

Our 50th anniversary came round on the 26th.April 2019 so on the 25th,4 adults and 4 children went to THE TASTE, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. Since we all had been there in the past and deemed this a good restaurant for food and friendly staff, my daughter was taking us to this restaurant for our 50th anniversary. Since I am restricted for space. This is the rundown. Entrance to restaurant(needed cleaned). Atmosphere like a morgue. Table cloth dirty and laid out with cutlery. Drink service is ok. Plates in heater/ YES/ heat not in heater/plates cold. Starters were non existent and poor quality. NOTHING FOR CHILDREN. They took some bread. Manager asked for chicken nuggets which were not on display. 6 nuggets/chips on cold plate. rubbish and left. Main buffet course. We all think that it's left overs from dinner servings. Bhoona Lamb? nothing but gravy/still to capture the lamb. £20 for children's four meals and £40 for all drinks. Adult meals prepaid. Some 50th Anniversary meals from the THE POOR POOR TASTE.

My sister’s and I enjoyed a delicious meal from Taste. I ordered the “Family Feast” @ £25. It included poppadoms with spicy onions, spicy mushrooms, chicken pakora then 4 curries of your choice with 2 x rice plus 2 x naan bread.

Standard food if you like imitation currys not impressed apart from the black pudding pakora much better indians around for the same price or less

My hubby and I had our fourth buffet meal last night, Again a good selection of well prepared and tasty food. No haggis pakora this time, replaced with black pudding which although good was not as good as the haggis - hope this is put back on for our next visit which will be soon.

Went for a takeway tonight and was so disappointed. Pakora was undercooked and the curry’s were the worst I have ever tasted. The lamb was so tough it was inedible and the sauce was absolutely tasteless. Suffice to say we won’t be back.

Horrible lugar para reservar para una noche de buffet con un grupo grande! Tienes la opción de reservar con un Buffet y con 3 bebidas o un paquete de 5 bebidas. Went with my daughter with website voucher for second time. Staff helpful and explain buffet. Good number of starters including onion rings and many pakoras etc. Main courses plentiful and you will not leave hungry. Ice creams, cakes for desserts and coffee.

Gift from a friend, don’t let the stairs put you off , although there are quite a few it is worth it. Clean bright big restaurant at the top of the stairs, cheery staff , we went for lunch 2—4pm we went on a Friday, offered drinks then told to help ourselves to the buffet , good selection of starters, four different main and three different rices , then all sorts of desserts including ice cream , all we had to pay was for two soft drinks £4.50 we really enjoyed the meal , but the stairs well I’ll think twice as I’ve mobility problems shame really it was good .

My wife and I decided to eat out at the restaurant on Tuesday evening and decided on the buffet. The restaurant wasn’t that busy however the food was freshly prepared and tasted good. The lager was not nice and had a strong smell from it as if been lying in the pipes for days. What really spoilt the night was the fat bald delivery man picking food from the buffet with his hands and eating it (who knows were his hands have been) not challenged by any of the staff during his feast totally unacceptable and disgusting. For that I will not be back

Love this place. It’s quite hidden but an up to date satnav should take you. Food is of high standard and very cheap. They offer deals like 3 drinks (alcoholic too) and buffet for £15. Staff are always so pleasant and accommodating, one if the reason I go alot!

Another of my monthly visits to Taste, and I was not disappointed. It was really busy so staff had their work cut out to keep things moving - which they did well.The food was as good as always, and the buffet was replenished frequently. Anything you needed, you just had to ask. Drinks were brought quickly, and staff were always close at hand. Excellent dining experience.

My hubby and I ate here tonight. This was our second visit and again we could not fault the selection and quality of the starters,mains and deserts.

Usually go at night time but decided to go for lunch yesterday as we had been stuck in the house for 3days due to snow. We were the only ones in for a while, the full buffet was on hot and fresh. They asked us to wait 5mins for new fresh starters to come out which was good as it was delicious. Very reasonably priced and the Cobra on tap was just what we needed to wash it down with!!! Definitely going back again.

Went with family for a buffet as I had heard good things about it but hadn't been. I'm glad we tried this little gem of a place. There was 9 starters and 9 mains on the buffet as well as a delicious selection of deserts. I honestly cannot fault any of the food I had and I would highly recommend the tandoori lamb starter. The salad was fresh and constantly refreshed. Rices were cooked to perfection. I tried most of the curries, they also had the house curry available on the buffet. The Korma was done with tikka chicken and tasted as a korma should, creamy and tasting of coconut. The house curry was delicious as was the chicken balti We all agreed that each of the curries were full of flavour and they did not have the same base flavour, a joy to the tastebuds. I honestly cannot wait to go back again. They do take-away and home delivery too. The only downside is parking, it's not great but we did manage. We did go during the week though. I highly recommend it to your tastebuds and your pocket as prices are very reasonable and deals are available.

We have been to taste many times for special family birthdays and we also go regular with four of our grandkids they love it there and the staff are great with them and the food is good too its a favourite of ours

My wife and I visited this restaurant on Thursday 05th October 2017. We hadn’t sat down when we were asked what we wished to drink. Soft drinks were very limited and mostly from a can so we decided to go with Mango Lassi. We chose from a selection of starters and main course, the portion sizes of both rice and meals are very generous, however, everything lacked taste, everything was so bland, it had colour but appeared to lack some basic ingredients such as spices. However, what we then witnessed made our stomachs turn, two men who had been sitting at the table opposite had finished their meal and left. The young woman who came to clear the table then proceeded to refold and place the USED tabled clothes back onto the table. The men had previously been wiping their mouths with these, but rather than replace them with fresh cleaned linen table cloths, they reused the dirty ones. TOTAL GROSS-OUT….

well where to start...first impressions are of a very run down exterior,run down interior...the buffet was so so....nothing great and not much choice,food was mediocre,i really cant fathom out other reviews of taste..having visited the delhi darbar and green chili café I have a idea of what good food and service should be....taste failed to deliver.

Usando este restaurante para su "Hora del té" tratan de llevar durante bastante tiempo ahora. La comida es excelente y abundante también el personal es muy cortés. Cuando voy a recoger siempre hay diners creando un ambiente alegre. El exterior del edificio podría ser desagradable y si el valor de la suspensión en su coche - aparcar en la calle!

Restaurant looks bit rough from outside but I would say the food and service more than make up for it. Went here on Friday evening with 3 friends we had buffet and the choice of starters alone was brilliant, we opted to get drinks inclusive in the price of £16 pp, for mains again a good choice of different currys. Although we were full we still managed room for dessert, was our 1st time there but will definitely go back the food was tasty and great value for money.

Poppadoms, pollo), cordero bhuna bhuna, arroz frito, patatas fritas y naan pan. Todo sabroso y bien presentado. Relación calidad-precio fantástica por menos de 16 libras. Bien merece una visita si en la zona.

We went on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly busy. We both went for the buffet option and the choice was huge with a large number of starters mains and deserts all of which were lovely.The general decor could be doing with a bit of a touch up and the service was slightly slow but overall was really good and will be back.

This is a great place for an informal family buffet evening. Been here lots of times and never been dissapointed. Food is typical of many Indian buffets - lots to choose from something to suit everyone. An a-la carte menu is available too - food ordered from this is good quality and fresh. Take-away available Prices are very good.

Just had a fantastic night at taste! Great value for money and the food was amazing! We were there celebrating my brothers 21st and the staff made us feel so welcome and were very attentive and kind. I will definitely be spreading the word on this restaurant.

Visited with a friend who'd never been before. We had the buffet and it did not disappoint. Its not huge which is better as feel the food is kept fresher. Plenty of choices of starters, mains and sides. We didn't indulge in dessert, but what was there did look very nice. Great value, both of us for buffet and drinks for just over £20 including tip.

Mr hubby and I were here on a buffet offer the other night. We could not fault the food as there was a great selection of starters, mains and deserts, the quality of which was excellent. The only downside was that the staff were not very friendly and we saw them re using napkins that had been used by previous customers. That said if another offer came up again we would go back.

TASTE is one of my childhood favourites for home deliveries of lovely Indian curries but I had never actually been inside the place for dinner. I was not to be disappointed, had a great offer for the buffet and the place soon filled up to almost mobbed which is amazing for a Monday night in January. Every curry in the buffet was cooked well and getting replaced frequently, I will definitely return.

It was really busy Friday night, and staff were running about like headless chickens, but apart from the drinks being a little bit slower to arrive, everything was great. The food in the buffet was spot on, and the drinks were great too. Perfect.

My husband and I ordered a takeaway buffet for Boxing Day as we were hosting a family get together. We had four different curries with rice (portions were HUGE), a variety of naan breads and poppadoms with spicy onions. We had so much food left over that all the family got seconds to take home with them. All of the food was delicious, hot and well presented. A special mention must go to Andy who arranged the buffet for us. Fantastic value for money.

Family visit on Christmas day was lovely although booked to full capacity the atmosphere was good.All the staff were efficient and calm.I had a bit of a wait for my sirlion but it was worth it.The steak was tender and moist served with seasonal veg.Everyone in our party of seven enjoyed their dish.The staff were very attentive insuring we had everthing we required.Also not rushed in anyway.Visited on many occasions and will continue to do so.Great food and good value.

We went here for xmas dinner,never again,ordered a chicken tikka and itwas like tomato soup wit bits of chicken,returned it for a turkey dinner,omg 6 big squares of stuffing and very bland turkey,potatoes not cooked,and chipolatas still attached to the string and had been boiled,my daughter ordered fish and it came out burnt and chips freezing,place in need of a good clean and refurbish,lets just say we will never return,spoiled our whole dayas we hadnt eaten any of it,so you could say we never had a xmas dinner,very poor,dont go

Came here with a living social voucher I received as a gift, immediately the impression isn't great, place needs a good revamp, entry is strange and feels like a haunted house and then you make your way up the stairs and eventually enter the restaurant We chose the wrong night to go as it seemed they were having some kind of party night with a DJ and karaoke (we were gone before the karaoke thankfully) wouldn't have minded the DJ but he was playing ridiculously loud "rave" music from the 90s, which wasn't really suitable for a restaurant, had to shout across the table to my partner, so kind of set a bad tone.Buffet isn't massive, everything seemed fresh enough. Starters were nice, pakora sauce was watery and had a weird taste, but the pakora itself was nice.Curries were slightly bland, rice/naan and chips were all lovely. We shared a slice of cake for dessert which was nice. Service was good, place was very busy (surprisingly) but the staff still managed to look after us.All in all, it was edible and filled us up. Wouldn't go back, and we were glad it wasn't us who footed the bill

From the outside you might be a bit apprehensive - don't be once you are inside it is a lovely well decorated restaurant.Food was fresh and well prepared and plenty of choices. I absolutely love this place! Whether it's a sit down meal inside or a take away, I am always satisfied with the food. Come here regularly for a meal, service is great, staff are friendly, helpful and great with the kids. Food is delicious and rarely have any complaints. I would however like to see something like macaroni cheese on the kids buffet menu Jst so we could dine out more often as my kids are still young and very particular about their meals but over all I love this place. Great value for money

This is one of the best buffets I have had in Glasgow for a long time. A very large selection of starters and main meals for a buffet. Been 3 times now and not been disappointed with anything I've eaten, good friendly and relaxed restaurant and fantastic value. Eat as much as you want for £15. Superb value.

We originally went here on a groupon deal for the buffet, it's hidden away in an industrial area and the building itself from the outside is a bit off putting, but i have to say the restaurant, itself is really nice inside, i can honestly say i have never tasted better buffet food, it really is a la carte dinning at mcdonalds prices..............starters are always fresh, even if sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for them to prepare it, at quieter times, as the food isn't left to go cold or stale, my wife loves peshwari nan and even thats included in the buffet, and for less than £6 before 4 pm 6 days a week, and at other times with 3 drinks £15.95, like i said starters and main courses are too numerous to mention, and you have desserts and coffee too..........do yourself and your wallet a favour and give this place a try you wont regret it, staff are friendly and if anything a little shy until they get to know you, were now regulars and visit every week, we'd come more if we could but we live 50 miles away, think that says enough how much we love the food here.

Every dish tastes and looks as if it has been Prepared with the care and attention of a meal from the menu. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. My partner and regularly travel here from the Airdrie/Wishaw area as we really feel like it is great value for money and an all round brilliant dining experience.

Ordered from set meal. Everything was delicious and delivered well before the 40 minutes estimated. I love the food and highly recommend take away. Need to try the restaurant soon! Set Meal A For 2 Persons - 2x poppadoms- Spiced onions- Vegetable pakora- Pilau rice- Plain naan- Choice of bhuna, korma, pathia, dupiaza, dansak or panjabi masala- Tender lamb- Pan fried chicken breast- Mince, beef or vegetables

Phoned for a carry out delivery...told me it would be 40/45mins....that was fine with me...there seemed to be a bit of a mix up with the delivery..driver went to wrong door..I called taste up they sent driver back...when I got the food it was cold and dried out it was disgusting..think they need to change the oil....I phoned them up and told them ....the female I spoke to didn't seem very interested.......I won't go back there...and I'll be telling others....

I have been going to Taste for years & it's simply amazing. It's that good my husband & I have become regulars. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Decor is lovely. Atmosphere is very relaxed.Food is brilliant. I go for buffet & it has varieties of lovely starters(pakora, chicken chaat etc), curries( buttered chicken, chicken chasni, Norma, South Indian garlic etc), side(chips and all different naan bread etc)desserts( lots of different cakes & big ice cream fridge with different sauces etc).This isn't like other buffets where the chicken is processed & in massive containers where you don't know how long it's been sitting. In taste the food is in smaller containers & staff are always putting out fresh food. It's also very cheap :) you can get drink packages along with your meal & it's good deal. I also get a pint of Cobra when I go as its lovely Indian lager/beer which I love. If you drive there is plenty of spaces outside to park. We've never had an issue getting a space. I would highly recommend. Thank you & we'll be back soon :)

We visited this restaurant for first time and we were impressed by the value for money and friendliness of staff. Plenty to eat and piping hot you will not go hungry but ice cream not the best bland but that did not spoil our night
