Pretty good food . My order was missing a dish and had been given an extra soup instead. I rang the restaurant and the very nice polite girl on the other end of the phone sorted it out and had the dish sent to. Also received a free bottle of drink and fortune cookies and prawn crackers. Thankyou guys great customer service👌

It's good until you fail in terms of food quality. 😤 No response? 😡 I'm not going to order again. I'm so pissed off with these quality failures! 🤬 #BadFood #NoResponse #NeverAgain

Ordered a takeaway consisting of - 1) salt and pepper squid - completely overcooked the squid. It is hard and chewy. 2) salt and pepper chilli chicken, dry and hard and unpleasantly salty. Very poor cooking skills where this two dishes are concerned. The Singapore chow mien taste ok but the noodles are much too soft. The chicken curry is ok too. Others are better. I am a 71 year old Chinese lady and I am so disappointed with this takeaway. Will not be ordering again.

Had a meal it was so salty we could not eat it so it went in the bin I rang to complain about it but was told that thay did not use salt rubbish it was saltery than the Sea

Ordered Chicken satay and house special satay both of which were completely and utterly tasteless so much so it was inedible, I rang them and offered for them to collect it but was told to put it in the bin 🤔 and a refund would be given! No refund and no supper last night! Needless to say I won't be ordering again!

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Weston. I see a lot of the reviews aren’t the best (but unhappy people are more likely to leave reviews than happy ones!) the food has always been delicious, and this is one of the only chineses in Weston that doesn’t mess with my stomach. The food is always fresh and flavourful, and the staff are lovely. Cannot recommend enough

Great food at an okay price. We always order from here because the portions and taste make the prices worth it! Only issue is the phone line is always busy. The last two times we ordered we had to order online which incurred another fee. This past time we then couldn’t check on our order which was just late enough we worried we’d been missed. Please please sort out some queueing system for your phone line!

Food like in other places but twice as expensive. Chicken balls ok, I paid £10.60, sauce very bad. In other place for same order I paid £6.60. Only one reason to buy there, it was open earlier. But no more. Very nice and kind staff.

Honestly one of the best chinese we've ever had. The aromatic lamb was a more then generous portion and it was perfectly cooked. My only negative is the beef fried rice, the rice was amazing! But the beef was very squishy and fatty. Don't know what beef they used, as it looked good, it looked like beef and looked perfectly cooked! but just didnt taste like beef. It tasted like the fat from the beef, but with no flavour. Other than the beef! honestly the best chinese.

Used to be amazing service bought from here for about 6 years don’t know what happened food turned up half hour after leaving the restaurant and was half cold, spring rolls were soggy no help when rung up again, communication between driver and restaurant is poor, won’t be ordering ever again. Lost a customer

My order arrived quickly and was still very hot, food was delicious the counter staff were lovely very engaging in conversation even though it’s just a take away. One of the kitchen staff gave me fortune cookies for free and always offered prawn crackers

Popped in here and the food was amazing! Can't believe the low feedback,but my ex periance was really good. Chilly beef was crispy and hot. The chicken balls and sauce was proper! They also put some Chinese tea for free! Hot and fresh ingredients in large portions. Can't fault them and will return.

No Atmosphere as its a take away, the foods always hot even if delivered, lots of flavours and interesting items on the menu. Staff pleasant and helpful reasonable prices.

Its nice but i only got 10% off for cash and collection. It used to be 30%. Time for a change i think.

Messed up my order, refused a refund and hung up the phone on me, House special curry only came with one king prawn, wouldn't deal with this company again.

It’s very bad taste , not match with the shop name “taste 2” , i was oder Singapore noodle and Singapore rice noodle with BIG PRAWN , but just came with shrimp…. And all of this not any taste !!

Food was cold on arrival. The chilli soup was like water. The curry sauce was dreadful! Only plus was prawn crackers were OK

We were very disappointed with our meal this evening.The salt and chilli prawns in batter were over cooked, making them hard and tastless. Could not eat them.The chicken balls (in batter) tasted very salty. Do you store the chicken in salt water before frying? Never order before due to the low reviews, but one day, without other option, we decided to take our chances: what a nice surprise! Best take away we had in Weston. Ordered again a few more times. Always happy with the food quality we get!

I went in to order two of the tray deals but was told they stopped doing these on Sunday. So I order one bag of chicken balls, one egg fried rice and one crispy beef. It came to just over £20! I paid contactless so didn’t really register the price until it was too late. Checked the menu and the prices have gone astronomical - £9.20 for a crispy beef!! The girls behind the counter mentioned after that the tray deals were still available on just eat, so I asked if they could refund my order, so I could order through just eat and save a small fortune, had made my order only two minutes earlier but was told no! Felt well and truly ripped off and will not return.

If we could give zero star for "Taste 2", then believe us, we most certainly would! We should have read the reviews first. What a total disaster and disgrace this establishment is. We ordered at 19:00 and were told delivery would be one hour. So at 20:20 we called to enquire as to where our food was, to be told that the driver left 10 minutes ago (20:10) and would be with us in 10 minutes. So at 20:30 we called again, the person who answered allegedly contacted the driver and we were informed that it would be yet another 10-15 minutes. When food arrived it was warm, to be generous and totally tasteless. Avoid this place!!

I love taste 2. Best Chinese I’ve ever had and 3 other people who have visited me have said the same. The chow mein is fantastic as is the HK style S&S chicken. Be careful reading bad reviews as people don’t tend to review places if the food is good, only when there’s a complaint.

Ordered satay dish, but what arrived was yellow and tasteless. Certainly wasn't Satay, no heat at all. Will not be ordering anything again from here

Had 2 meals from there last night I'm sorry to say it was the werse meal we have ever had. Phoned to complain for a full refund after taking his time the manager agreed as long as we sent EVERYTHING back to him On doing so we had half our money back very disappointed. Stay away from the place.

Absolutely awful. Orderd 3 meals one for me, one for the wife and one for my daughter who doesn't eat meat when it arrived they had sent three chicken dishes. Rang and explained and was told they would send out another meal in 5 to ten minutes, 35 minutes later when me and my wife had eaten ours the none meat dish arrived, although it was hot it was not cooked and totally inedible.

Dispite a hygein rating of O in. 2017, decided to place an order for delivery on Saturday 9 January 21. Ordered at. 6pm for delivery between 7.15 & 7.30, nothing 7.45 nothing, rang at 7.50, was told a lot of orders in front of you. So I cancelled order. They still have my money. I'm going to sue them for non specific performance of contract unless I have substantial compensation, plus my refund. They should not take orders if they can't deliver, greed. Do not order from them , they spoilt .my whole evening, see them in court.

Orderd at 1745 advised that the order would be with me at 1920 as "the restraunt was busier then we expected" at 1945 and still no food i call them to be advised it "should"be with me at 2020. Asked for a discount or anything they could do and they advise me no, no refunds all we can do is cancel the order. This is the second time this has happened. Stay away from this place absolute c.r.ap. would never recommend.

Another late night chicken curry , spring rolls & duck fried rice, with prawn crackers, 10/10 as always, food is absolutely delicious, and very good size portions.

Ordered our food at 6.55pm through just eat, was advised a delivery time of 7.50pm, this then changed to 8.10pm, at 8.10pm was advised by just eat driver was on way so rang restaurant to check and was informed he'd left 5 minutes earlier. At 9pm rang restuarant to be told he'd left after I rang and then told they were trying to ring me as couldn't find us. They weren't as call waiting is on phone. The owner really didn't seem to give a toss that we'd been waiting 2 hrs for 3 dishes which were cold by the time we got them and continually used just eat as an excuse. Shame as the foods nice if it arrives still warm and don't appreciate being lied to so won't use again.

Our food was nearly an hour late ,when it came the trays were crashed and food was spilling out my meal the beef was burnt and no sauce on it ,couldn't really eat it ,its a shame cos normally the food is good.

very disappointed Chicken was very stringy couldnt eat it,the wife had fish n chips awful as we have both been in catering chicken and the fish was not fresh but frozen...chips were awful no taste..dreadful experience

Sorry I had fish and chips the fish wasn't cooked right through even my cats wouldn't eat it,and the chips were frozen chips.weve had Chinese from here that has been lovely, so this is a surprise.

We love this place! Food always comes quickly considering I'm over 2 miles away from the shop. The food is amazing and always comes piping hot!! Love it, will definitely keep going back!

We all know it's not easy out there and we are looking forward to have SOMETHING UNHEALTHY EASY to eat especially after 6 days of work and it's very frustrating when order is accepted and never delivered is it GREED or lack of MANAGEMENT sorry ANGRY WHEN HUNGRY

Slow delivery.... Missed their delivery times 3 times in a night (was told 7.10 then 8.10, them 8.30, finally turned up at 9) Arrived cold and part of the order were missing Wouldn't refund delivery fee even though has to take cold food back to get full (hot) order Staff weren't helpful, blaming the current situation for the delays, even though people on here have complained about the same thing over 12 months ago... Definitely won't be using again.

Ordered a small order of 3 items,took over 2 hours to arrive three phone calls and food was cold.During the last call I could hear a woman swearing at the driver. I wasnt offered a refund only an apology from the poor harassed young man taking the orders.I will not be using this take away again.

Ordered through just eat at 7pm was told would be delivered at 8-20pm at 8-45pm i rang to find out why my order was late and was told it would be delivered at 9-45pm so i cancelled the order, from order to delivery of about 3 hours is a joke wont use just eat again

Mistake x We ordered food from (taste 2 on site just eat) , I saw there a lots of good comments. Firstly, we waited long time.. longer than we should to wait. After 1.5h we waited almost next hour but the worst was that we got meals with raw meat! Really..? If you hungry and you wanna eat something what you can, don't choose this local. Fail.

Got wrong order, call attendant promised to re-deliver correctly. Shop closes in the next 10 minutes and they refuse to pick up the phone. For 45 minutes they kept picking up they phone and slamming it down. Way to lose a costumer that ordered every week from them.

After reading a few negative reviews I was skeptical but gave it a go anyway. Food was lovely and hot when it arrived. Ordered 19.55 and was here by 20.25 which i was happy with. Will definitely use them again 👍

Paid for 5 meals only 4 given and my shredded beef was vile and off so I through it. Pleasant lady behind the counter though, not her fault.

We ordered a chinese last night. Best one we've had for a long time. Arrived earlier with nice friendly chap. Very generous portions and each dish was delicious. We will definately be ordering from here again.

Ordered chilli chicken strips..No chilli 2 onion bits?? Rubbish

I decided to go there with a friend as we wanted to get something to eat so ended up seeing what it was like, as wanted to have some fish and chips in the end, which was lovely so would definitely go there again as the menu of things to eat was endless so many to choose from, it seems like a popular choice for people living close by and like us just somewhere to go.

I was at a party, we all requested our food for the evening but unfortunately we could not tell what was what, upon delivery. There were no food package ingredients nor did they care when asked. BLAND and Icky. It was about £73 among 6 people. DO NOT buy in bulk as we could not discern one meal to another, taste included.

Had very low hygiene score and gave me seafood three times when told I had allergies.. Seems popular though.. Not for me.

I used to eat here when I lived in weston unfortunately I moved away but last night I came back to visit a friend and we decided to have a Chinese meal, the usual place my friend orders from were closed so I suggested Taste 2. I must say even though I hadn't had for a long time the food was just as lovely as I remember it, I decided to have my favourite pork in batter, and the batter was beautiful and golden crisp, and the pork inside was coated with Chinese spice, was a taste sensation for me, the chips were good, although there seemed to be too many... But I'm not complaining I ate them anyway . And the crispy automatic lamb was superb. Lastly a huge generous pot of sweet and sour which had a decent flavour so I'd like to thank them for such a delicious meal. And for the fact I drove home over full. But that was my fault. 🙂

It’s hard to give a full review of the food from taste2 since we received less than half of our order but this probably gives reason as to why the food was ready so quickly!

I order some salt and chilli tofu, it is hands down the best damn tofu I've had in my life! Packed with flavour and well seasoned!

This food is the best we have ever had never ever go anywhere else now used these as our regular was closed always perfect food and on time

Great freshly cooked food. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommended.

We've had three deliverys over the past three weeks, each oder had at least one item missing, finally got told by the boss that he would let us have our next oder free of charge to apologise for the previous deliverys. So we ordered our free food then 20mins later they rang us back to say they couldn't let us have the whole order and we could only have one main free even though we've spent nearly £80 on three orders that were wrong each time. Never use them again.

I order to collect here Sunday as my regular Chinese is shut, my only complaint is no option for boiled rice with the chicken omelette only chips.

Phoned up, man on the phone asked me to hold 2mins, no prob, 10 mins later still holding hung up phoned bk to be told he came back after 1 min and was saying hello hello etc this is lie, asked what dishes they had to go with special fried rice, he listed off four sauces, said I didn't want sauce but a dish as in chicken blk bean or sweet n sour etc to be told they had plum or satay sauce, what!!! he couldn't be bothered to tell me basic menu, as I didn't have one to hand, so I said I will phone bk when I know what dishes you've got, looked up menu on line, phoned bk to discover I've been blocked so phone constantly engaged,My partner rang on his phone and got through straight away, As I order food at least twice a week sometimes more, you can say goodbye to £21-£ 70 a week min thanks to your lazy lieing incompetent staff member.

Rang to order a delivery. Asked beforehand if they was delivering to my area tonight as the traffic was bad and had a response that yes they will be but the wait will be an hour.... waited an hour and 45 minutes and still not here so rang them again and was told our order is definitely on it's way and will be with us shortly. Waited another 45 minutes and rang again to be told we won't be receiving our order as the delivery driver can't get to us and has returned our order back to the shop. I had a lot of people over and made a big order for our night to be ruined waiting really 3 hours for our food for absolutely nothing. I will never be using this Chinese again

Worst we have had. Curry with no taste, beef chop suet that was with a red tomato sweet sauce and beer Thai that was so sweet it was all not edible!....... never again

Bad. Bad bad Ordered food, and had a call after 1 hour to say food ready, but no drivers. Could I collect. Eerrrrrr no ... called hungryhouse and complained, the staff offered me some coke and free prawn crackers ... which are free anyhow ! Anyhow hungryhouse are going to investigate them. I see they are also on just eat so will inform them to. Don't order for delivery from here !! God knows what the foods like, but there's always public health !

Only Chinese we'll order from great food great prices

Told delivery would be 35-40 mins, no arrival after 1 hour 15mins. Rang and man on phone was rude and pretty much hung up on me after saying it's out for delivery with no apology. Finally showed up 15mins later and was almost cold and was stodgy. Chips had started emptying out in the bag. A lot of onion in sweet & sour and not much else. Will not be using again.

Lovely food everytime not greasy like most takeaway food. Highly recommend shame its closed on a tuesday though as i will.not go anywhere else for chinese

Since moving to Weston 9 months ago, we have tried a few Take Aways. This is definitely the best.
