Emzz Kebab N Pizza House in North Somerset

I've had several meals with Emzz over the past few months and all have been cooked fresh for collection, tasted great and not had a rough stomach afterwards 👍🏻 fantastic bunch of guys and will continue to give them my business.

Was unable to order online, but no major issue. So a verbal order was taken ... no issues, and the gentleman I spoke to was very polite and accommodating. However. Despite verbally emphasising "no lettuce please" (twice). My kebab was delivered with lettuce. Frustrating when you've specifically said no to one ingredient, because I dont like it. Sadly for me, that spoilt my dinner

Rude disrespect and aggressive. Second time I have been to order food and just because their card machine did not work and I only had a card they turned aggressive. A single woman against 4 men. Avoid at all costs I have now reported them

Would have given zero rating. Owner cannot understand orders, picking up food from floor while cooking. Shouting at other staff. No hygiene followed. Meat left on fridge counter clearly past its date. Telling customer to F off when asked itemised receipt for order. Very poor service. Will be reporting to council on food handling and hygiene.

normally food is wonderful, but i ordered and the food was wrong, got beef burger when asked for a chicken? asked for mixed salad in a wrap but got everything but that!! kebab tastes days old, won’t be ordering again!! was a loyal customer but after that experience we will not be returning.

It was at least an hour late, and they got the order wrong twice, as a takeaway it is the worst I have ever had. I hope that the sit in or collect is better. The food was also not the best and we didn't end up with our order in the end. If one of us (which one is) was vegetarian then they could have eaten meat because the margarita pizza was pepperoni and you wouldn't know because it was stuck to the box top. The vegetable pizza has chicken in it (the vegetarians pizza) and I would not recommend.

The food is bad and cold waited for 3h for one not worth it go somewhere else if I was you, don’t go 🤭

Literally the worst kebab I've ever had , tiny portions , I'm sorry but I expected a lot more for my money, it was like they forgot to add the whole meal

Bought lamb doner wrap and chips, both massive portions and extra tasty. It's going to be a Friday night staple. Was easily enough food to feed 2. And the best bit? It cost £10! Excellent, can't fault it.

Not only late and update from being late was still late from the update from restaurant. I really didn’t want to do this as they are my local and the only ones who delivers to my village. But it’s been multiple times now ordering from them spending £50 each time for them to forget items and not receiving orders with no compromise or a substitute just no meal take ur money. So they owe me 2 drinks and 2 kebabs one being Adana kofti and the other a combination kebab of chicken and kofti. After speaking to them on the phone they said they would refund me the kids meals on my card and the 2 drinks but didn’t keep there word I’m getting fed up spending £50 every time using these guys and have no choice but to use them because it’s the only just eat delivery for my village but yet no refunds no compromises no substitutes just take my money missing food missing drinks always late no refund as promised and worst thing is they changed owners and meant to be new improved when it’s the same service.

I ordered from here last night and it was very poor the order was placed for delivery at 19.30 and arrived at 20.30 after multiple calls with the store they were extremely unhelpful and useless they kept saying it will be 5mins then when it arrived it was stone cold and looked like the pic below I was super disappointed I asked the shop what they were going to do about it and they offered free food but when I called them up to arrange this they said they never did I was utterly dissatisfied with there service and encourage nobody to order from here I certainly will not be ordering again

Really poor. Delivery was late, over 1 hr and 15 mins later. The food was cold. Cheese not melted. And my order was incorrect. Really bad. I wouldn't recommend.

Absolutely a joke of a place new owners are very disrespectful and very unprofessional completely rubbish at there jobs roles standards are extremely poor and certainly no care to there customers or the food they provide local authorities should investigate there food standards and trade of service cause they only professionals at stealing your hard earned money as they can't fulfil there orders properly from customers and when you call to question them they are very rude so everyone should avoid them and save your money

Ordered 2 mixed kebabs at £15 each got half a kebab in each clearly just split it in half. So for £30 got half a kebab of chicken, lamb and kofta each. And the chilli sauce is way to got and I like it spicy!

New owners are great! Deliver latw which is perfect for our work finish times. Delicious food still and they now have recyclable packaging which is perfect... Definitely continuing to order from them, our faves <3 thank you.

Delivery is never on time. Always at least an hour late. Tonight's is currently 1hour 45 mins late, hence the post. Awful service.

Pizza is delicious. Unfortunately delivery is usually always late, never get reimbursed due to 2 hour inconvenience and although I appreciate all circumstances and not a Karen, big language barrier, ended up speaking to delivery driver which is very unfair.

Waited 2 hrs for an olive and feta cheese salad with a pomegranate sauce costing £6. They sent me a tray of Lettuce and Cucumber. I just spent £6 for what you see in the photo! Rang the restaurant to complain, they said they would give me a big discount on my next order. Ummm no thanks!

Extremely disappointed with my "large" chicken shish kebab. Cost £10.50 and was more like half a kebab. The chicken was super dry as well. Not going to be going back.

The most disgusting kabab I have ever bought in 30 years of eating kababs. New to the area and the local residents are right. No thanks never again.....

Food nice delivery time awful … waited 3 hours and 20 mins !

A lovely surprise, I wasn't expecting a good kebab but it was spot on.

Would give 0 stars if could, food took 3 hours to arrive, it then arrived freezing cold. Every time I called the place I was told 5 minutes away. I called 3 times in the space of 1.5 hours. Was told there was traffic, which there was not. This is not the first time this has happened either. Absolute joke

Great food cooked by great lads, ate there 2 nights while working in the area. Well recommended.

2 hour wait for a pizza, a Kebab and some chips. The place was located 10 minutes drive from us. We had no car so had no choice but to order delivery. In fact, it was even delivered 30 mins late. And food was cold. Unimpressed and would absolutely not recommend.

Perfect experience. Called up and asked for options regarding a sharing box, and was told they do a set box. Really helpful on the phone, they had ran out of chicken wings so happily substituted for chicken strips/nuggets at my choosing. Collected the order, friendly, efficient server and the food was boiling hot. The food itself was delicious, a big tray of food, also salad, sauces and flatbreads came with it. Really good value for money. The chicken shish was particularly tasty, and the lamb kofta. I will definitely be ordering again, Thankyou! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I’m a regular customer at Emz kebab, love their pizzas! Emz is family run and the guys are always really polite! You can collect or have it delivered. If ordering over the telephone, they prefer cash payment on delivery. You can order online using love takeaway or just eat. Wide range of food, kebabs, burgers, chips and pizza.

Not at all good. 2 Large Donner Kebabs and Chips. It was delivered cold. The Kebabs were not assembled, but just piled into the carton. The presentation was awful. The pitta was Soggy and falling apart. A Kebab is supposed to be Lamb and Salad inside a Pita. Not this one, it was a soggy unappealing mess. Both the meat and chips were really dry. It was the smallest Large Kebab I’ve ever had too. Certainly not worth £25 for the meal. I won’t ever order from here again. A waste of time and money. I would have given one star, but the delivery was quick, so it gained them a star.

Overpriced laddish service for food of poor quality. Not at all value for money

Unfortunately again, a very bad experience. We ordered two kebabs and chips. Costing £20.30 For collection. One been a mixed donna and chicken donna. The other one been a shish chicken kebab. Both pitta bread are inedible due to the fact, the salad was soaking wet and had destroyed the pitta bread. To the point water/juices, etc ran out on the takeout box all over the chip and inside the bag. The chicken part of the mixed kebab, was so over cooked/dried out, It was like eating biscuits. The chilli sauce on the mixed kebab, well what they called chilli sauce was just sour/vinegary and salty with mainly tomatoes in it. There was no real flavour or spice. The chicken shish kebab was so very bad, the chicken was rubbery with no flavour to it, with the very minimal of garlic mayonnaise sauce and soaking wet pitta bread from the wet salad, the chicken shish kebab 100% inedible. Just very disappointing. This is the second time we have used this restaurant, there will not be a third time.

Just Ordered a chicken donner kebab and it came with no pitta bread or sauce don't no why. ordered a kids donner meat meal and got about 20 chips and the meat has no colour and dose not looked cooked properly so it went in the bin so not happy.

Ordered a large lamb shish kebab from here via Uber eats. Food was delivered quickly, but the quality was poor. Chips were soggy and insipid. Over half of the lamb pieces were tough, chewy, and inedible. Thrown in the bin.

Cold! Smashed up, 2 hours late on delivery. Asked for a refund and told to get “f@£ked” Ordered from here quite a bit. Service is awful! Food is awful! Stay clear of this dive! Genuinely the worst place i have delt with!

Always good food sometimes late but that’s understandable when it’s busy but it’s always warm and good to eat plus always good service

Awful!! 2:45 minutes for delivery, stone cold food delivered in smashed up boxes. Tatsed bad and they dont want to entertain they did anything wrong. Read the reviews. 3 stars, we should of known better. If you have ordered off these before , leave your review, im sure it will be similar

First time ordering from them tonight and I've got to say, not impressed in the slightest. Bland and undercooked pizza, mozzarella sticks deep fried within an inch of their lives, watery dips and as for their "Fried Chicken & Chips".... its basically chicken goujons and chips. Piss poor value for money I'm afraid and the only bonus was that there weren't a couple of menu's with the delivery (even though i requested them) as I'll not be ordering again from them.

Ordered last week for the second time and if you are considering a delivery meal from here, take a look at the Just Eat reviews and decide to go elsewhere, you really will do yourself a favour. Everyone saying the same thing and it only took 2 orders to experience what we had read. The good reviews have got to be fakes. You would simply be better off not eating at all...terrible food and that's if you can even get it...lots and lots of customers don't!

Wouldn't even give it 1 star. Ordered a pizza on a Monday night and it's been over 2hours and still not arrived.. phoned twice and been told its on way etc. Still no pizza. Won't be using them again

Food was good and arrived early but bread should have been packaged separately as all soggy underneath food, didn’t give us rice when it said the order comes with it for the mixed grills and no plastic knives and forks! We were staying at airport b&b and didn’t have any so would have been nice if even a plastic spoon was provided…

Ordered last week, due at 8:30pm got canceled at 8:29 saying they didn’t have pizzas when we ordered at around six. Thought ok these things happen ordered at 3:30pm today 8:30pm and canceled an hour before said “we’re busy and we don’t have any pizzas left” yet we preordered? I asked about this and they said we don’t save pizzas for orders. What an absolute joke I honestly love the food here but the service is a joke. All is needed is a simple sorry goes a long way, I wasn’t even offered that! Use somewhere else if you actually want your food to turn up

Jut collected a chicken shish kebab and a combination kebab and a portion of chips. On opening I thought they looked a little small, however, the small was enough for my better half, and my combination had just the right amount too. If you have a large appetite, go for the large. Chicken was moist, tender and flavourful, salad crisp and the chilli sauce very good. Highly recommend this take-a-way based upon our first visit of hopefully many!

On collection had a doner kebab was supposed be a medium was a very small amount of meat asked for onion and did not put it in . And terrible attitude by the young lad behind the counter so I would say it's a rip-off for £7.50.

I asked this fabulous takeaway to supply the food for my husband's 50th birthday party. The result was outstanding! I can't thank you guys enough. Everyone commented on how the food looked and tasted. It was a marvelous success. Thank you so much!

We had an order for a cheese pizza and we had one with peperomia pizza with anchovies and when we found out where it was after 3 and half hours we were shouted at down the phone and hung up on us

ordered a large 15" pizza paid for extra pepperoni and jalepenos what i got was a normal pepperoni pizza no extra toppings.

Rudest people ever... use old food for following days. Salad not fresh and mever have half the food u order..Missing half orders all the time and just are the rudest people ever.. also another business next to them have witnessed rats coming from out the back of building.

I live in Sandford thought I would try his place, What a load of Sh,,,I wanted a mixed kebab, the usual , chicken, kofta shis donner for £14 ended up with shredded chicken and bits of donner, new menu he said £8 hardly any salad, Not recommended, Stick to Winscombe,

Placed an order with these guys at 18:00 with a promised delivery of 18:45. By 19:30 I hadn’t received my order or had an update so I called them. I was advised that the order would take at least an extra 45 minutes because they only had one driver. I politely told them that would mean my order will have been nearly 3 hours from start to finish and I wasn’t prepared to wait another 45 minutes, especially as even that was an estimate. I was advised that they only had one driver available and I accept that these things happen. However, they could have kept me updated rather than imply they were doing me a favour by eventually delivering the order. Alternatively they could have refused to accept online order for delivery. Worst case is always saying nothing meaning that customers can't make alternative arrangements. Whilst they told me that they would accept my order cancellation, I was informed that it was my responsibility to do it via LoveTakeaway and ended the call before I could ask any more questions. The company I ordered through LoveTakeaway have an online chat service but I was waiting for over 30 minutes and never saw anything other than ‘you are number 1 in the queue’. I then called them and was advised that Emzz should have contacted them to arrange the refund. However, LoveTakeaway promised to follow up and I did receive an email confirming I would be refunded. All in all an unpleasant experience.

We both had a lamb and chicken shish. Awesome food, juicy meat, nice salad and bread was warm and fresh. Would definitely order again. Delivery was also very quick, arrived in 30 minutes.

Ordered 2 pizzas after a day sightseeing. I had a fishy one, with tuna and anchovies. About half an hour after ordering, I had a call saying that they had no tuna !! OK, no problem, these things happen. I asked for a meat feast instead but they refused to change the pizza as they had already made it, all I could do was add a topping to the non fish, fish pizza. Absolute joke. When they arrived, the bases were on the verge of being raw, hardly any pizza sauce, and a distinct lack of toppings. VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST

I never leave a review but do not order from them I place my order at 8 30 PM it is now 10.23 pm still no food rang them to see were it is and was told by some rude man we are busy I will never order from them again

Put my first order in and the food arrived on time and was hot. The driver was so pleasant!! Will definitely use them again. We'll dine.

Asked for a large donnor kebab and chicken kebab without pitta bread and just salad. The salad that was given was poor and frankly was a joke. All it was, was red cabbage with 3 strands of lettuce and a couple of slithers of tomatoes. the donnor meat was dried out and burnt. I had the luxury of paying 16 quid for that. I felt ripped off. Quite frankly you'd be better off having beans on toast.

A lot of the bad reviews seem to revolve around delivery issues. I've always walked there, and ordered on the spot, usually a sish kebab. The meat is cooked fresh, the salad is fresh and is tasty and well priced. I've always had great, friendly service, as I did today. Thanks

100% the worst take away in the area. AVOID. Ordered twice and both times got the order very wrong. Tonight, for £22, I’m eating cold chicken on a bed of cold rice. After asking for pitta with a sauce. Called to complain- not interested and Blamed a family Member for taking order wrong ! To top off the terrible taste and wrong order .... it was stone cold. Thanks Emzz kebab, I’ll make the effort to tell all to avoid your food after a 2nd round of terrible , incorrect and cold food.

Arrived almost an hour late and had to call them to ensure it was actually coming. This is the second time in a row it has been almost an hour late, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt last time. but twice is just unacceptable. Pizza quality has gone downhill with a change to the pizza bases which don't taste great as they are hard and dry. Hummus is bland and sour and the kebab was cold. Poor service and food, so won't be ordering again. 2/10

Kebabs are excellent salad fresh chilli wonderful I would go again.

Disgusting service.... delivered to us throughout lockdown...ordered tonight now they say we live to far ... i had to phone to find out where the food was, was told they wanted an extra ten pounds delivery, they never even emailed to let us know!! Avoid their rubbish service at all costs.

If I could give no stars I would, absolutely terrible service! We waited nearly 3 hours for our food, after phoning multiple times only to told they were busy which we understood and said that was fine. Once it reached the 2 hour mark we phoned again and was told the driver was leaving only to phone back 45 minutes later when still we had no food to be told he only left 15 minutes ago! When the food arrived it was almost cold and stale like it had been cooked then left out for a long time and on top of that they forgot one of our orders! So we phoned again, whoever we spoke to gave us NO APOLOGY just stuttered and fumbled about for a minute or so before begrudgingly offering a refund. So 3 of us were left with cold, stale food that we couldn't even eat half of while one of us was left with nothing, although the 3 of us would have actually preferred nothing with how awful the food was! To say I am fuming is an understatement, will never order from here again.

Rang an order at 21.00, told it would be an hour, not a problem, called at 22.10 told it would be another 30 minutes still no food, DONT BOTHER WITH DELIVERY - food still not here!

Collected some Chicken Shish Kebabs and they were delightful. Would recommend to all.

The last time I ordered from Emzz the order was just over 25 minutes late and this time they excelled themselves with a delivery 45 minutes late. The icing on the cake, it was barely tepid. I sent an email to Emzz after about 25 minutes and this was ignored. When my delivery did arrive there was no hint of an apology. I was genuinely convinced this was the norm. They set 15 minute intervals for delivery and my order was placed nearly 2 hours before my delivery time. I also provided an email address and mobile number so there really was no excuse. There is a shortage of restaurants that deliver locally and I suspect that Emzz are happy to offer poor service on the basis of people having little or no other choice. This is, of course, short-term. I have since seen other reviews that suggest I am not the only one to receive a poor delivery service. I for one will not bother in the future, better to go for a drive than receive food that is late and so cold as to be close to inedible.

Ordered at 20:15, we called at 21:45 as the food still hadn't arrived. We were told it was just leaving and then at 22:30 the food finally arrived. They gave us a free bottle of coke for it being so late but this didn't help with the lukewarm and poor quality food. Not surprising they have a 3 on the food hygiene rating.

Food isnt good anymore, pizza bases no longer fresh but frozen, cannot make calzone. Food always slow and cold. Better before when it was congresbury pizza kebab.

Loved our dinner here. Two of us don’t eat wheat and loved the pan fried prawns and the roasted veg with halloumi and salad 🥗 yummy and distinguished taste too. You have to try the home made hot pepper sauce. So delicious! My husband said the lamb Kofte was phenomenal! And we got home made Ayran to top of all up. Very friendly family run business. Talented chefs.

ordered some food i decided to order a shish chicken and chip wrap. Wrap came cold with probably only a handful of chips inside. Delivery also took 2 hours.

Overpriced for what u get, very basic products and abusing the fact they are the only local kebab shop to the area!

I hate garlic and asked for mayo but not garlic mayo so wen I got home I couldn't eat it so my son ate it yuck he said the food was good but I couldnt eat it .!!!!

Food was cooked fresh and in front of you. Staff were friendly.

I've ordered twice since it has changed hands, and the quality and flavour of the food is outstanding. The meat is cooked on charcoal, giving it a great taste. The salad is always fresh and crispy and dressed to perfection. The home made chilli sauce is full of flavour, and although I would prefer it a bit hotter, it is a taste experience in itself. As far as the place itself, it looks clean and well presented. The staff are very welcoming, this is clearly a family run establishment who have set themselves very high standards with the taste and quality of their offering. The menu is varied and has some dishes I can't wait to try. All in all a very welcome addition to the limited take away choice in the area.

Arriving home after a long day of mounting biking having dreamt of our Saturday night takeaway since shortly after polishing off our maccies dinner, I started the arduous search for a takeaway famed for its pizza. During this search I stumbled upon kebab N Pizza House. Having read the few reviews it seemed an adequate establishment to order my pizza from and so I embarked on the decision of a lifetime... What to order? Having gone through the emotional journey to decide on what to have I eventually decided on a pepperoni lovers pizza. This was not an easy decision as mentioned but I was happy with my choice and so sat back and awaited my order to be finished. I then drove 10 minutes to the takeaway, where I received passable service, collected my order and then set off back home. The aromatic smells that filled the car only added to my excitement and I practically ran inside from the car so I could commence devouring my pizza. To my horror, I opened the pizza box only to find a doner meat pizza situated in the cardboard vessel (or as I call it now ”the pizza box from hell”). Visibly shaken and distressed I swallowed my fear and took a bite. Shear horror contorted my face into something not even a mother could love, fear turned to anger and then quickly to disarray. I couldn't believe how catastrophic my evening had turned out to be. Defeated I retired to bed at 7 pm and had only pizza filled nightmare as a companion. Wouldn't recommend.

The worse chicken kebab I’ve ever had! It was served with rice instead of salad! Awful to try and eat without a fork! Hardly any chicken! I definitely wouldn’t recommend Emzz.

There was a problem with our order and it wasn’t dealt with in a very professional manner after receiving our incomplete order (after waiting an hour and a half for it to arrive), we then called them to tell them that our order was incomplete and they said they would get the missing stuff delivered to us, then after about 50 minutes again we called them and they refused to send the remaining things. We won’t be using them again.
