Disappointing!! waste of money!! Nothing like how it was when it first opened, if you want to waste your hard earned money on crap food this is the place to go, really gone downhill, very disappointing breakfast food, and awful service! Establishment doesn’t look clean at all aswell! I’d give zero star if there was the option!

We went for lunch. Ordered chicken tikka and chicken in sweet chilli panini. It was empty but they still took a very long time The 'paninis' were toasted small white baps with very small portion of tasteless and old looking chicken in lots of sauce and lettuce and cucumber They were not paninis and tasted awful When complained to the person he shrugged his shoulders and walked off Place was dirty Not recommended Terrible experience The desi coffee was good though

Excellent Food & Service - Good Range of Meals & Drinks from Breakfast to Asian Hot Drinks - now stocking Evoca Mango & Evoca Strawberry - I have been there 3 days in a row for Cheese & Onion Toastie Highly Recommended for Blackburn Rovers fans as on the same street is the birthplace of Jack Walker of Blackburn Rovers fame & entrepreneur of Walkers Steel at 96 or 98 Randal Street with a plaque outside with a special touch not too high to reach - good luck 😉

The locals know you get a heck of a lot more for your money from Taste than anywhere else in Blackburn. And there is no compromise on quality.

we visited just before Ramadan with my family. I LOVE taste, it is a cheap eatery with just what you need when it comes to a greasy breakfast. they do masala chai and a full english that goes down a treat. my children enjoyed their jammy toast whilst my family and i sat for some much needed full english. The service wasn't the best but you cant complain when you see the value for money. well worth it if your up for a greasy cafe breakfast!

Found this café again as we had a lovely experience before a few years ago. Great service & lovely food. Good quality food & decent prices. The cakes looked lovely but too full of jacket potatoes, coleslaw & salad. Go there they are brilliant

Since the old mother redcap changed hands to Stonehouse inns I can honestly say the experience and the food have been nothing else but absolutely amazing. We had carvery all you can eat I had all three meats gammon, turkey and beef and they were all cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth all the veg was delicious and so was the gravy. This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint from the first visit. 4 happy family members and we will be back no doubt. A shout out to the fabulous staff members for looking after us.

I was extremely disappointed when the food arrived after 1hour of waiting. Ordered two molten chocolate brownies expecting them to be warm gooey and covered in hot chocolate. Haha no, that’s not what was delivered. We got two freezer stored cold cakes with chocolate on top in a plastic case. Also ordered thunder and lightning ice cream, but instead was delivered death by chocolate, so I rang up to explain they had delivered the wrong flavour to be told they had no thunder and lightning in stock so they just switched it without consulting me first. When I said that I don’t want to chocolate one I could hear them in the background trying to tell me that it’s the same thing when it obviously isn’t! While on the phone I asked if the molten brownies are meant to be cold to be made aware that they are stored in a freezer and sent out cold. As a desert place I expected freshly made food especially for the price!! Also after debating with the guy on the phone that the ice creams are not the same he offered to refund me via bank transfer in which the refund is still not appearing to have been made! Would not recommend. Disappointed! Also why does delivery take 1 hour when it’s literally just frozen crap put in a bag and placed at your front door

I went here during a busy shopping trip and needed a coffee, the experience overall unpleasant. It was a very overwhelming atmosphere the staff seemed unhappy to serve us which made us feel unwelcome. Drinks were okay, but definitely not up to expected standards for a coffee shop, but it did the job. Will be avoiding this brand in the future as there are much nicer coffee shops close by which seem to genuinely care about its products and service.

Unfortunately my visit to The Willows was rather pathetic. The food we did get was nowhere near worth the price. The mains took over an hour so we left. Wouldn't recommend and tbh I was warned by friends not to go here too
