Tash Grill in City of London, Westminster

Ordered via Deliveroo and the food was genuinely delicious. It arrived hot, which is always a big plus. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the portion size. For around £40, I expected enough to comfortably feed two people — especially from a grill/kebab spot — but the portions were noticeably smaller than usual. I get that delivery platforms take a cut, so maybe that’s part of it. That said, the quality and flavour were great. I’ll definitely stop by in person sometime — hopefully the in-store prices offer better value.

Very good food great customer service.

Came in to order and asked if I could eat in. Place was clean and tidy, but freezing cold and it’s winter. Heating clearly was off. Waited 20 minutes for a kofta kebab wrap which would take 10 minutes max anywhere else. I paid 11 pounds for this wrap, which on the upper end for a wrap. They forgot my order of chips as well and charged me for a large instead of the medium which I originally ordered. Food itself was ok, but wouldn’t come back because of price, service. Easy things to improve. FYI - it was only me and one other person in the shop who was also waiting for around 20 minutes, so no excuse to take that long.

Nice guys. Chips very good. But lamb in shish was dry and chewy. Moussaka was just watery ratatouille; ie, had no meat or cheese. Or aubergine, for that matter. And not cheap. Disappointed.

We were looking forward to the meal unfortunately we were very disappointed. The chicken kebab meat was extremely fatty and anaemic, so much so we thought it undercooked and couldn’t eat it. The staff were dismissive and unhelpful.

Terrible experience. The food is under cooked and disgusting. Chips were soggy too. The staff were so rude when I went back & tried to fight me and come outside because I was unhappy with food. Young man put middle fingers up at me, I have it on video. I have heard bad things about this shop anyway, but I tried it out. I am disgusted. Before the owner does another one of his rude & cheeky replies, don’t even bother. I am reporting your shop to Wandsworth Council.

Rude staff, long wait and expensive.

We recently visited Tash Grill and the food taste was delicious especially the lamb and chicken shawarma which were both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender juicy and seasoned just right—definitely some of the best shawarma, On top of the good food, the service was excellent. Ismail the guy serving us was attentive, polite and made sure we had everything we needed. His friendly and professional approach really enhanced the dining experience.

All the guys are incredible attentive and helpful, provide the best service in all of London, really recommend this place, delicious food and amazing people!

First of all, the place overall was a 3 star experience, me and my friend ate a lovely chicken doner kebab with chips. The chips were a bit overcooked but the meat was fresh. In terms of customer service, we found it to be quite inadequate as we had to collect our own plates of food and didn’t feel as friendly as I thought. On the other hand, we enjoyed the food but we would not eat in again but perhaps order.

When into here after work and it was cold had a burger about 9 months ago and got a portion on chips that turned out crap under a different name but still the same owners still crappie food but what do you care when you have had a drink

I got stomach pain once i ate their food , it is disgusting , chicken doner was too oily and sound like Raw, they serve it from container that they already cut the chicken before , even they put it with pitta bread in microwave to make it warm to looks like it is fresh , zero hygiene seriously , and the one who was serving me was looking over exhausted and his T shirt was full with sweat , shame on management of this place.

Doesn't look clean. I had chicken shawarma but it wasn't fresh. Chicken was already pre cut and served from a container. Kind of sitting in room temp.. i got really sick. Service was nice.. shame about the unhealthy practices. This food is amazing when it's fresh, but my experience was bad.

Decided to try a lamb doner from here and it was quite awful. The meat had no colour, no flavour what so ever. The lettuce had no crunch was just wet and soggy. The “wrap” wasn’t wrapped around the meat and again was just a soggy mess. Very disappointing doner wrap

This place used to have good food, however last time when I have ordered a lamb wrap the meat basically looked white.. had zero taste, like eating a paper sadly - not much to do with lamb i am afraid. I don’t know if this is normal or one time accident but definitely I was quite shocked as could be possibly worst lamb wrap I ever had.. also I was surcharged £2 too much when I read my bill I realised..

Five stars on everything!! Love this spot! I can from America to visit family in Putney and stopped at Tash grill one night. Tash and his staff are amazing! Super friendly! The food was so delicious and the portions are great sized! The lamb and chicken were both so yummy and the cheese chips were so ooey gooey. I’d come back every time and highly recommend!

Tash is a great owner and resturant. Super efficient and hard working company. Thankful for the effort and quality of food.
