Had to join a virtual queue as they don’t take reservations, but we were seated within 15 mins which was excellent. Super quick service. Shakshuka was delicious, great kick of spice. Value for money, considering portion size and quality of food.

Worst breakfast I've ever eaten. I felt sick. The line is incredibly long. The waiters come by every five minutes to ask if you're done. The environment is extremely loud. Way too overpriced. Don't come here—a bagel and a coffee are better than this breakfast.

What a lovely place. Very refreshing when you walk in. I had the best full English breakfast this morning by farm Just visiting the UK for a week from Canada. The portion is huge and I ended up didn’t finish it all but I did try though. 😍😜

Beam in Notting Hill is a real breath of fresh air. Bright, clean and airy, it’s got that laid-back buzz you want from a brunch spot, even if it edges into slightly chaotic territory when it’s busy (which, let’s be honest, is most of the time — and that’s usually a good sign). First impressions? Slick. A smart white frontage with huge windows flooding the space with natural light, and a few outdoor tables for those brave enough to tackle London’s unpredictable weather. As you walk in, there’s a cosy little lounge area with squashy armchairs and pops of mustard yellow that make it feel more like a trendy living room. The perfect little corner to grab yourself a smoothie before brunch. Now, the queue situation deserves its own round of applause. Instead of hovering awkwardly by the door, Beam runs a virtual queue through the Dojo app. Scan the QR code when you arrive, and go for a wander (or, in our case, hover nearby). They’ll ping you when your table’s ready — no standing around in the cold, no passive-aggressive loitering. We only waited around ten minutes for a table for three, despite the crowd outside. Inside, the vibe is pure easy-going cool. Terracotta walls, natural wood furniture, leafy plants and globe pendant lights give it a welcoming, slightly boho feel. It’s packed but not claustrophobic, and there’s a steady buzz of chatter that, in this case, adds to the ambience. Onto the food — and honestly, this is where Beam shines. Their all-day breakfast and brunch menus are packed with Middle Eastern twists on familiar classics. I went for the Mushroom Flatbread: grilled mushrooms stacked on a soft laffa flatbread, with preserved lemon infused labneh, grilled spring onions, mixed herbs, a poached egg, and romesco sauce. That labneh? Creamy, zingy, rich — basically everything you want but will absolutely fail to replicate at home. Easily the star of the plate. One of our lot ordered the Beam Benedict: shawarma spiced lamb patty, homemade pickled red cabbage, crispy eggs on a muffin, finished with a harissa hollandaise. If you’ve never had deep-fried poached eggs before, prepare to have your life changed. Coffee-wise, I stuck to my usual iced oat latte. First round was a little watery and heavy on the ice, which was a shame, but the house roast at least saved it from being a total flop. Not enough to spoil things though — just one of those minor blips. Beam is proudly family-owned, drawing on their Middle Eastern heritage to give brunch a much-needed shake-up. It’s not just food for food’s sake — there’s a real sense of love and tradition baked into everything they serve. Service was a little stretched — it felt like they could have done with an extra pair of hands or two — and it took a few waves to get attention. That said, the staff were friendly and working flat out, so it’s hard to grumble. All in all, Beam is the kind of place that makes you want to linger. It’s cosy, vibrant, and the food is properly brilliant. We’ll definitely be heading back — next time, I’m getting the Nutella French Toast.

I rarely rate things five stars but the food was so delicious, the atmosphere and ambience really nice, staff very attentive. A gem and right near where I usually stay too! The plates are on upper end of brunch prices but the portion size was excellent so it’s worth the price for sure! Very strong coffee too!

Good selection of sweet and savoury dishes. My go to is the vegetarian breakfast (they also substitute ingredients for something else). Service has always been friendly. They do not take bookings, no queuing during the week, can be busy on the weekend but there is always a spot.

Want to give a special shout out to the male waiter with long hair (i am sorry i did get your name). I was with my toddler and he made us feel welcomed and was so playful with her, it is so rare to feel welcomed with a child in London restaurants! This person has an amazing soul, keep him at all costs! As to the restaurant, the food and atmosphere was great, will come back to try brunch as well!

Have been there twice. TBH the food is very mediocre. Wondering why they got such a high rate. Many other brunch places on the same street do way better brunch but has lower reviews. Interesting.

Food was bland and boring. Lack of seasoning and tons of shortcuts on the plate, clearly directed at high turnover efficiency as opposed to making an actual decision meal. Way better options in the area, surprised Beam continues to dominate with less than average food. Go to Sociale Cafe or even Tab/Tab

This is the best alternative eggs benedict (Beam benedict) I have ever had. The coffee was also really good, but the main star is definitely their amazing food. Staff is super friendly and the food came so quickly (I reckon not even 10 min after we ordered! And they were full capacity!). The place is very sophisticated, high ceilings and clear colours, which gives a very “elegant and clean” vibes. (Ps: my only objection was that I would have preferred my coffee in a mug, because it was hot and it difficult to was hold the hot glass). Overall, highly recommended! 10/10!

Superlative English breakfast! The food is excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients and served in generous portions. The staff are very friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The prices are fair for the quality they offer. Only note: I recommend arriving a little early because to queue you need to use the QR code that is present outside the venue, so as not to have to wait too long. But it's absolutely worth it!

This is definitely a good spot for brunch, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. It also arrived very quickly—almost too quickly—which made it feel like much of it was pre-prepared rather than freshly made to order. Even some of the things on the plate were a bit cold. The atmosphere wasn’t particularly cozy, and the overall vibe leaned more toward efficiency than relaxation. The staff was friendly, but there were so many of them that it reinforced the feeling of a high-turnover, in-and-out dining experience. While this is good, it’s not the best choice if you’re looking for a leisurely, laid-back brunch.

Best brunch in Notting Hill. Coffee could he better. TIP: the full English breakfast portion is huge! So sharing wouldn’t be a bad idea if you wanna try something else as well from the menu 😌

We have been coming to this place for about 2 years with pleasure, but unfortunately there is a problem with the management and table setting service. After waiting for 45 minutes after getting the QR code, there were 6 empty tables of 4 in the back and 5 empty tables of 2 in the front rows, but the management insisted that we have 15 minutes, we are waiting for those who will come, we cannot let them in.
