Haminados in City of London, Westminster

I tend to come here quite often for little solo dates, but I can imagine it’d also be a wonderful place to work remotely! The food is always incredible, with vegetarian/vegan food and drink options, and staff are so lovely :)

owners were very friendly and accommodating and the spinach quiche was delicious and fresh 🥰 lovely setting as well

The gentleman who served me had the sweetest and softest personality. Will deffo be coming back

Only popped in for a coffee and a pastry while in the area for work, I was greeted so warmly! The coffee was hot and hit the spot, and my croissant was delicious - everything looks and tastes homemade! The Mediterranean veg was being prepped for lunch and it smelled divine, I will be back to sample 😋

This is the go-to place if you're craving a cozy, family-like atmosphere. If you're missing home, a visit here instantly makes you feel like you're surrounded by loved ones. The coffee? Joseph is a fantastic baker and chef! His place is absolutely amazing. We loved going to his place for breakfast and lunch and often took some of his baked goods back to our apartment. A neighborhood place that makes you feel welcome is always a treasure!

What a gem… Joseph the owner is a lovely man with a kind heart and delicious food. I’m a big fan of Tabasco and when I asked for some to my surprise he handed me homemade hot sauce instead, which was 10x better. Will be coming back to try the famous spinach quiche soon - it was all sold out by the time I got there.

We were there as German tourists and the kind man behind the counter was really interested in us and gave us the best service ever. Not only the service was amazing, the food too. It’s totally recommendable!!

A real gem of a restaurant with lovely owners and delicious home made food and large mugs of fresh coffee. Apparently they get up at 2:30am to begin cooking - impressive. Magical garden with Beatles memorabilia. Relaxed place to chill out.

Such a lovely couple run this wonderful cafe. Excellent choice of good quality foods and kind people. I have moved to another part of London but came in today for Carnival. I used to eat here regularly. Joseph said they stayed open during Carnival because they are very much part of the community here.

Everything we ate was fantastic and reasonably priced! Very friendly service as well with a lovely garden in the back

I love their almond croissant and coffee. Also, the place is very cozy and the owner is really nice. Definitely a great place to start the day.

If i could leave 6 stars i would. Everything is fresh and delicious. The owner is an absolute pleasure, his only desire is to make sure you enjoy your meal. He takes just a minute to get to know you and personalizes your experience as such. Quiche, pastry, coffee, eggs, strudel, brownies, emily pudding, new york breakfast bagels and everything out of the kitchen is fantastic. I cant say enough good things about this place. I wish i could bring the owner home w me. If you dont eat here, you truly are missing out. Long live haminados ❤️

This is the hole-in-the-wall to know. The atmosphere is authentic and warm. Same with the food and coffee. There may be nothing better for a jet-lagged tourist than wrapping oneself around a flaky croissant washed down with a strong coffee. While you are here thinking about your next place to visit, linger a few more minutes and enjoy a piece of cherry pie. The proprietor's favorite. However, I suspect each of the pastries are their favorites. That is just the way things are at Haminados.

Joseph (aka the nicest, most obliging man alive) told me that his brownies we popular when I ordered it. Two weeks later, I’m still thinking about that brownie! I eat brownies all the time and this is truly I think the best I’ve ever had! There no food at Joseph’s (what the locals call it) that I don’t enjoy but this brownie, is life changing! Lovely hidden place with a sunny backyard, nice big tables with plugs and WiFi, ideal for remote work! Tasty pastries and strong coffee! They have a lot of food options for breakfast/lunch including salads, homemade burgers, vegan/veggie options available!

We stopped here by chance and quickly realized we stepped into a gem. The owner knew all the regulars by name and the atmosphere was fun, welcoming and quite charming. The croissant we had was probably one of the best we've had. Must stop by if you are in the area.

This place is a little hidden gem in Notting Hill. Owner and operator Joseph is one of the most genuinely friendly people I have had the pleasure of knowing. My family and I visited from the U.S. and I made this my daily breakfast spot to grab some delicious freshly baked items from his café. Yes, I was partially raised in this hub Be it city entanglements within maps Leave many a borough in the light to overlap This enchanting cafe was my under the green umbrella starting point. I’m now in the early stages of launching my first copy of Under The Green Umbrella’ magazine, You might recall I’m actually’ The Green Umbrella Queen’. I wish to raise a New Year toast with champagne bubbles Later on from my present green location For every umbrella Joseph the cafes proprietor opened was basked with many culinary delights. At the time my youngest sons were but still ripe bambino’s, Joseph be one fine chef 👩‍🍳 His wife holds a smile that sends your eyes into dreamland Together, they mould Baking every moment of every day Freshly baked cakes will send your tastebuds watering Longing for more My youngest son’s inkling was apple strudel I’m certain Joseph still rolls his sleeves up Amongst all his café delicious temptations Along each wall are photographs of the beetles band in their prime. Well Joseph was a sixties dude, I’m guessing ! Amongst other exotic music photos lining walls dressed in odd interesting crafts. There’s a photograph of me Alongside the beetles They have tried to crawl into my soul Well, I wouldn’t be writing poetry if I couldn’t string words into a dish. Would I now ? My father religiously went to this breakfast spot on our last visit to London 8 years ago, and upon on return it was nothing short of exceptional. Joseph knew every customer by name, and was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and worth the price. If you are in the area, Haminados is a must-stop place!

My favourite spot. I grab a slice of cherry pie or open faced panini, and sip an iced coffee almost every day at Haminados. Joseph is the man.

Visiting from the states and stayed in Notting Hill. This place is a hidden gem. Staff all very pleasant and welcoming. Acknowledged right away. Cute little back patio. All of the food was freshly baked. Had the spinach quiche, one sausage, latte, and two of the danishes. Everything was super yummy! Some of the best coffee I found in London and hands down the best service. Highly recommend and will return when visiting again.

This is my first review on Google but I felt compelled to do it because my experience was so at odds with the reviews posted already and the sky high average. The coffee was subpar, the cakes as well, and very expensive overall. The owner has got some charm but this does not mitigate the rest.

Wonderful place, the food is delicious. I love how they also accommodate a regulars tutor for the local school. This is the reason I attended here. So not only is this serving the clients, satisfying their hunger, garnering an income but it’s also allowing children to thrive. Fabulous. Will definitely be visiting again and advising my friends. The food is so fresh and atmosphere so lovely

What a terrific find! Stumbled upon Joseph’s lovely deli on our stroll through the neighbourhood. Loved the grape leaves as much as his hospitality!!!

The owner is really kind and the place extremely nice and welcoming. Not a touristy bar. They offer wonderful baked goods, huge varieties of beverages and big portions of food. It has free wifi and it seems like the perfect place to enjoy a good book or study.

This lovely, tiny, quirky cafe is an absolute undiscovered jewel of London. Please forgive me if i do not remember the owner's name correctly but I think it was Joseph. He and his family make the most astonishing pies, quiches, baklavas, cakes, brownies and and and. A huge selection of stunning delicacies, always made fresh. And Joseph is not shy to present his mouth-watering creations with a passion for his craft burning in his sparkling eyes and gentle voice when he walks directly up to his customers presenting his freshly made new creations. Everything, the atmosphere, the products, the prices, and Joseph himself are as genuine and honest as humanly possible. Forget Buckingham Palace, forget the Gherkin, forget the London Eye... Haminados is the most stunning attraction in London. Update: you might have read the two one star reviews on here and those people must be the must stuck up people ever to have walked the planet. If you want pretentious, nose-in-the-sky and tie-around-your-neck service and food, dont go to Haminados. You will hate Josephs warm, welcoming, personal, embracing, genuine, easy-going and passionate personality.

I hesitate to review Haminados because I don’t want anyone else finding out about the best cafe in London. I want to keep it all to myself and the lucky ones who happen upon it. The food is affordable and delicious, the owner is warm and welcoming, the decor is charming and homey. A true delight.

Coffee is absolutely horrible. Flat white was more like white americano. Tried their quiche, which was very bad as well. Stomach got upset after having it. Service is good and staff is friendly but doesn't make up for the horrible food. No gloves, no masks for anyone.I'm really surprised about the rating. It does look fake to me.

Neighborhood local with Joseph steering the ship. The quiche with salad is a nice easy lunch. Have a seat out back in the courtyard. It's quiet and perfect. You forget you're in a big city. It's like being at a family table. Homey and unassuming.

Best place I’ve been for ages. Joseph the proprietor really cares and you can taste the pride he has in his work in his food and drink.
