Another hidden Gem in the City’s collection of livery halls. Waterman’s Hall provides a real flexible event space that has both the tradition livery hall with a modern training facility too which can be hired at very reasonable rates! A brilliant space for team away days or CPD training if you have remote teams.

Absolutely dreadful! Attended a wine tasting. They had moved the room and there was no staff around to gives us directions. We ended up walking around the building trying to find the room. There was also no signage. Upon finding the room we were asked to go back to the lobby, down three flights of stairs to wait for drinks to be served. The lady who.told us this also mentioned the room we originally confirmed was no longer available as they had sold it for more money!!! We were put into a pokey attic room, which was more like a classroom. Fluorescent lights and cramped tables. None of the white or rose wine was chilled as they didn't have any space. The food which was £25 per head was cold, salty and straight from the freezer. Nothing was prepared by a chef! The waiter assigned to the room spent most of his time drinking a glass of.water at the back of.the room. This place was such a let down as having been to other livery halls I expected more. Just avoid here and go somewhere that's will appreciate your business!!

I intended a Thames Society lunch which was outstanding. Lovely food and great Wines Brillant value for money. I would mention that the lift has been out of action for 6 months at least . It was quite upsetting to see alot of people struggling to get to the Dinning room which was at the top of the building . The stairs are very steep and circular.

We visited the open day today. My wife's ancestors were lightermen and the family has an indenture and press-gang prohibition paperwork. We were escorted into the office where the staff were both interested and delightful. The building itself is like many of the other livery companies, a step back in time to another world of beautiful pictures, model boats and lovely furniture with a fascinating story to tell.

Wonderful space, steeped in history. The staff is really lovely, happy to tell you all about the history of the Watermen and Lightermen, and very accommodating. As an event space, the venue has everything you could need, including a complete AV setup (we were using the venue to premiere a film, so that was most important to us!). All in all a beautiful and charming space.

What a fantastic place. Packed with huge amounts of history and interesting things on display I was lucky enough to be envied to a formal dinners, the food, service and attention to detail were excellent. I'm not sure if it is open to the general public but it is well worth trying to find out One small drawback is a lack of parking but there are many transport services running close by

Intriguing historic livery hall of what is probably London's oldest public transport organisation. I went on a tour led by a passionate and extremely knowledgeable guide who really brought the place to life. There are many displays of fascinating historic artefacts.

Second year we have used this venue for a formal dinner for 50 - great and historic surroundings, excellent service and slick catering. This year the main course could have been better (the lamb was very fatty) but on that scale and at speed very acceptable.

This was the first time I had been to Watermans Hall. I came for lunch with a friend. Firstly, I had a glass of the house white wine which was excellent, and is always an indication of what's to follow. The food was very good, the service excellent, and the ambience unique. The staff in particular were absolutely first class. They were pleasant, polite, helpful and very professional under George the manager. A really delightful experience, I can't wait to return.

The coffee is very ordinary. I expected from the name of the coffee that it would take a share and become heavy, but it was very ordinary. Unfortunately, the shop is currently closed, otherwise I might give it a try with another type of coffee. There are indoor and outdoor sessions My requests; Flat white 10/4 The price is reasonable

Simple to book and a pleasant setting with a view of All Souls church. Stick to the cocktails which are superb. As usual with this type of bar, people were turned away despite many empty tables and an abundance of staff. One simply has to keep up the hype, darling! We had booked so none of that foreplay. Expect to pay the retail price of a bottle of champagne for a 175ml glass of the same, often from a bottle that has been open for some time and lost is effervescence. Too many baseball caps for my liking.
