Vesper Bar in City of London, Westminster

We went to the Vesper bar for a drink and some snacks and nibbles with some friends there were 6 of us in total. Jack and his team in the Vesper bar took exceptional and outstanding care of us. The surroundings are beautiful and nothing was too much trouble. We shall definitely return! Congratulations and well done to Jack and his team.

I had an utterly charming evening at Vesper Bar at the Dorchester on Monday. The cocktails were amazing, thank you Lucia! The staff were so kind and attentive, I especially want to thank Holly for providing such a lovely welcome. This is a stunning bar with fantastic ambience, I would highly recommend it to any visitors to London!

We booked a table here for post lunch drinks on a Sat afternoon. The decor was plush and the ambience very chilled. To begin, we ordered a couple of cocktails 🍹 which were wonderful. Having been asked if we were celebrating anything special I mentioned it was my Birthday. We were surprised shortly after that with the tastiest canapés (salmon, aubergine bites etc). The service afforded us was perfect - special mention must be made of Giacomo Faure Asst Mgr who was so attentive throughout our time in the bar. Would definitely love to come her again.

Beautiful ambiance,love the lamps on the tables and the Venetian effect of the glass panels.The most memorable experience is the CHARMING staff,smiley and eager to meet every request of the guests.Now my favourite bar in London thanks to the team.

Simply fantastic. We visited for my girlfriends birthday - just for drinks. Booking was simple, but on a Thursday evening I would say it wouldn't be necessary. We were greeted with two complimentary cocktails - absolutely not expected but really appreciated. A very nice touch. The staff were incredibly good, attentive but not over the top. Refilling your drinks and snacks when they become empty without you even noticing. The cocktails were good, but not exceptional. Really flavourful but lacked the real "spark" you would expect for the price. The setting is exceptional with the music at the correct volume and the décor plush and comfortable. Perfect when you want to push the boat out a little for drinks, but I would say the prices were reasonable all things considered. Would definitely visit again.

This was our first visit to the recently renovated Vesper Bar. Beautiful decor, comfortable furniture, subdued lighting. We had champagne which was served with olives and breadsticks. I had mentioned that it was my wife's birthday and the team came up with a sweet treat to surprise her. A very nice touch. The service was impeccable from beginning to end. My only issue is, too many tables and chairs, makes the bar extremely claustrophobic. I hope Richard the director of food and beverage will take notice . We shall return.

We booked into the Vespar bar for the evening however we didn’t stay. Initially we were put onto a tiny bench like seat in front of the DJ booth which was really tiny and not relaxing. We asked to move to a table with chairs, which the staff kindly supported. The problem was we were then crammed into the main part of the bar with a large group directly next to us. It was so close that a man at the other table behind kept banging me in the arm/shoulder and I am a petite lady! There seems to be far too many tables and chairs in this bar which made it very crowded and quite claustrophobic. We asked if we could move into the Artists bar and the staff kindly arranged this. The artists bar was the complete opposite. Plenty of space, totally relaxing and beautiful music. We had a bottle of VC and some gorgeous sushi. It was super. We can’t really rate Vespars due to our poor experience but Artists we give 5/5 too and will return.

Lovely classic modern bar with a lovely atmosphere. We chose 2 glasses of the Giato Rosso Nero d' Avola Centopassi 2020. Very nice and smooth taste , very enjoyable. The service was excellent and friendly. We chatted to one of the staff about my Grandfather being a regular there. When he was on business in London from South Africa. in the 60s to the 90s.

We are here over the Christmas period. Last night, Christmas Eve, we booked a table at The Bar. Absolutely first class. First class service. First class cocktails. First class food. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. I cannot believe we have not been here before. Highly recommended for any occassion.

I booked a table for my wife & myself. When we arrived we were kindly greeted and shown to our table. Service was prompt and pleasent. A good selection of cocktails, spirits and wines. We ate some light bites which tasted amazing. Service was impeccible, occasionally we would look and then you briefly after you would get one of the team look at you and smile, just looking to ensure you are happy and content, it was a nice tough. The ambience is relaxing with some nice music in the background, highly recommend and would return.

You wont get better service anywhere the staff are truly amazing the Bar is one of the best in London

I always pop into the Dorchester bar as its my favourite bar in the area, it is cosy and vibrant at the same time. You can have a chilled conversation but theres still a buzz. The staff are always attentive and the canapes are always wonderful.

We save the Dorchester for special occasions and it was my friend’s birthday. We managed to get a table upstairs in their Terrace restaurant. Not a pleasant experience ;-( It was very windy and blustery / no table cloths / very informal but VERY expensive for what it is / small food portions and the sharing concept does not really work. I expected such an establishment to get it right but this terrace is a real disappointment. Everything we ordered ( starter / main beans sides) arrived within a few minutes of each other not really allowing us time to savour the food. So of course some items were cold when we came to eat. I queried if they were adhering to social distancing rules as we felt tables were far too close to each other. Honestly we couldn’t leave the dining area fast enough!!! I resented the approx £180 bill for 2 mediocre lunches. I certainly will not be going up there again (but I would still return to Alain Ducaisse or The Grill). Not up to usual Dorchester standards to the point of being a rip off. They have cut huge corners to open an outside restaurant & it is not in keeping with their reputation.

Beautiful cozy bar to go to see and be seen. We had a couple of old fashions to rest our feet on our way back to our hotel. Great spot.

Warm clean good atmosphere and an array of cocktails mixed by really efficient bar staff. I was here to kill an hour whilst visiting in Park Lane, it’s a warm welcoming place : enjoyable but a bit pricy, but on special occasions well worth it.
