Tas Restaurant in Camden

Muy buena comida turca. Deliciosa meze, cordero a la parrilla y baklava. Buen servicio de un equipo amable. Gran ambiente en Bloomsbury justo al norte de Oxford Street.

we booked for a family group, that doesn't meet in those numbers (11). we enormously enjoyed the occasion, including the food, and the warm hospitality. attentive and friendly, not intrusive.

Excellent food and great service. Staff were very friendly & the food we all had was delicious (6 of us). Restaurant was bright & airy and lots of space between tables.

Have visited this particular restaurant a number of times over the years. We went Saturday evening & were surprised that there was hardly anyone in. So it was a little unnerving that maybe things had deteriorated in there. Our worries turned out to be unfounded. Service was excellent as was the food. Why it was so empty is a mystery but no complaints from ourselves. Very good.

The food was ok, but the staff were disinterested and unhelpful. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such bad service. The waitress brought the menus to the table without a word, we had to ask twice for water while waiting for our friend to arrive. Not a smile or a word, I felt like asking who had just died? I would not have left a tip but unfortunately service was automatically added to the bill. Definitely won’t be returning!

Our usual italian having fallen victim to lockdown we tried TAS and were delighted with the warm welcome, wide ranging Anatolian menu and fast and cheerful service. My cherry juice was particularly good. This is going to be our regular lunch spot whenever we go the British Museum in future
