Lovely experience the staff were so friendly and accommodating, food was great, really made our last day

Happened on this cafe by chance - WHAT A FIND! A very warm welcome, particularly when we got talking about the Moroccan connection. Coffee excellent, as were the pastries. A great place to sit and watch the world go by.

Popped in for some breakfast sourdough and jam and a latte. The latte was nothing to Write home about but then they popped down the toast. £4.50 and I 1 thin piece of sourdough was put in front of me with a small plastic jam and one small plastic marmalade. I had to stare at it for a few minutes because I was so shocked. I’ve never paid £4.50 for one piece of toast anywhere ! Definitely will not be back !

I really like this coffee shop and have always seen it as a calm place to work or catch up with friends however twice in the past week I’ve had 2 different members of staff make me feel uncomfortable to the point of eventually just leaving. One ushered me to leave as soon as I’d finished the plate of food she’d just put down despite it not being near closing time/there being other tables available for new customers. The other rudely asked me to move from a table interrupting a work call I was on / tried to move the table as I was working on it despite again there being plenty of other free tables. I had previously asked a different (polite) member of staff if I could sit there as I really needed somewhere to work due to the electricity going off in my home, which she had said was fine. I received no apology after he was informed of this and he didn’t occupy the table after I’d moved - as a paying customer I don’t think it’s acceptable to make you feel as if you should immediately leave after spending your money with staff being irritable if you don’t do so. Especially after ordering food which isn’t exactly cheap to feel like I have to rush my meal. Really disappointing experience :(

Really good food but they say they close at 5pm and I’ve now come three times around 4:30pm and they are already close - please change your online times :)

Popped in here over lunch time to grab a coffee and go. The barista greeted me in a friendly way as soon as I arrived while he served another customer and was incredibly attentive and helpful while he served me. The cafe itself is lovely with lots of greenery from plants and smells delicious in there, so will definitely be trying the food on a return visit. There is some charming decor in there and it feels cozy for those wanting to sit in. Was nice and warm. Onto the coffee - can't fault it. Tastes nice and sweet and strong, and came in a very pretty floral compostable cup with compostable lid which is a plus. All in all can't wait to go back!

We went for lunch last Saturday and had the most delicious vegetable wraps and Moroccan mint tea. The vegetables in the wrap were so fresh you could really taste it. The mint tea was served in these characterful glasses with authentic tea pot. The owner was so lovely and chatty, she made us feel very welcome.

The food was really nice. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Nicely decorated with ceramic tiles in vibrant colours. A small place great for some lunch and coffee. The lady was so friendly Merci beaucoup!

Kind staff, keeping on controlling were we satisfied with food and drinks. Tiny but cosy place, food is freshly done and you can see it. Not 5 starts because plant based milk is for extra payment (now everywhere soya is for free!) and that cakes are not done by them but bought from a bakery

Came across this by chance on route to Roman Road Market. The owners were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very attentive and the vegetable wrap I had was delicious. Home made food. I can highly recommend this.

We came across this cafe on one of our Sunday walks.It was a cloudy but warm day and the tables outside seemed like the perfect choice for a quick coffee outdoors. The coffee was great (absolutely loved the mugs!!!) the staff very polite and accommodating! We got a little jealous of the table sitting next to us eating, so we thought we’d order something to nibble on as well. We went for the tuna sandwich which was delicious, really nice crusty bread, also had avocado and roasted veggies which proved to be an excellent combination ( and inspired me to do the same on my tuna sandwiches from now on). We were also offered some of the frittata with our order which was really nice and they even treated us with some to take home as well(which made a great work lunch the next day) ! Overall a great cafe, fantastic choice for a hangout, great food and amazing hospitality! Will be back for sure !

Found this place when I was on a pre-night shift walk. The decor is phenomenal and their soup of the day with wholemeal bread is a delectable lunch.
