Tapinos in Ealing

I had a lovely time at Tapinos tonight. The food was delicious, my favourite the batas bravas and chorizo paella! Really warm and cozy atmosphere. We were served by the owner and he was so kind to us. It was my friend’s birthday and he let us blow out candles after our meal and played birthday music for us. I would recommend anyone to come here, you will find a warm and friendly environment with great food. ¡Muchas gracias!

Hi guys, fair review from me,, service good I spose, not worth the 12.5 service charge that most independent owners take (trust me,, cancel it and secretly hand the waiting staff the tip) 3 of us this evening, ordered 4 tapas, jug of sangria and a mixed paella for 3 people. Waiting staff are Spanish, kitchen staff looked Pakistani. Not a bother but everyone was so damn bland. Sangria didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it, calamari had some sort of cornflake batter on it,, totally tasteless, no seasoning at all. Goats cheese came up cold and was sposed to have handmade crisps but all that turnt up was a 1/4 handful of match stick potatoes. Sausage in red wine was cold as well. I asked the waiter for us to have a proper paella with a crispy bottom.. he said it's hard to do so it wouldn't happen. Bread comes with butter ffs 🤣 not even any oil or balsamic. Basically I had to rush home,, just made it in time for the toilet.. says it all really. £104 for rubbish food, eaten in the dark

Great deals every Friday to Sunday from 12-5pm tapas 2 for 1 when you order drinks. Ordered six tapas and two drinks with just over £20. Food are made to order and tasty.

All around just a lovely simple but warm spanish venue, food was rich in flavor, service outstanding and staff is very friendly!

An authentic Spanish restaurant. The paella is served in generous portion and boasts a delightful texture, although it would be even more with a wider variety of seafood in the dish.

Lovely venue and very authentic

Nice neighbourhood tapas restaurant, decent food at reasonable prices. Weekend lunchtimes they have a two for one tapas special which makes it a very good deal. Albondigas and patatas bravas were excellent. Service was fast and friendly, although were there at an off peak time

Great service, delicious tapas and to round it off, 2 for 1 before 17.00 on weekends. Highlights were manchego croquettes and grilled sardines.

Great Tapas! We really enjoyed our food, especially sizzling prawns! Everything was tasty and the service was superb. I am sure we will be back soon.

Delicious tapas! By far the best I've tried in London. I cannot say which one was my favourite, because they were all amazing. I recommend to try a few different ones.

We randomly stumbled across this restaurant today for lunch where they had a 2 for 1 deal on the weekend. The food was incredible and we have been raving about it since, so fresh and top notch! Amazing value! The seafood and meatballs were perfection. The sangria also hit the spot. The owner was serving today and was a delight. We will certainly be back with all of our friends asap and highly recommend.

Epic food. With the nicest staff. What a hidden gem this place is! We had the paella and it was delicious - they even boxed up some of the leftovers for us to else home! we will be back!

Having read the reviews, we were exited to find this restaurant on our recent trip to the area for a music festival as this type of food is one of our favorites however, we were very disappointed. The first dish that came was Patatas Bravas which we have had many times before and in fact cooked ourselves. The dish can only be described as a plate of chucky chips cut into cubes topped with a huge squirt of tomato ketchup and a dollop of garlic mayo. The second dish were the Gambas Prawns (pil pil) These were served in boiling oil and once they were cool enough to eat they were like lumps of rubber. The meatballs were very ordinary. The Dates wrapped in Bacon were very nice and the slow cooked pork cheeks were acceptable but not very flavoursome. We only had one beer each and the bill came to £58. Not a lot to pay these days but expected much better quality food. Perhaps this was an off night

Empiezo por lo bueno de Tapinos que es la atención de la camarera, muy atenta y agradable. Para cenar hemos perdido de primero pan con tomate, pasable aunque se sentía un fuerte sabor a ajo. La tortilla de patatas estaba seca y super cuajada además de sosa, me recordó tremendamente a las que se compran ya hechas en el supermercado. También pedimos patatas al cabrales, la salsa estaba muy líquida y las patatas a medio hacer pequeñas y algunas estaban muy oscuras como su fueran de la tanda anterior. Las croquetas de calamar estaban bien, buena textura y sabor. Cómo plato principal pedimos arroz negro de sepia y que decir, un desastre total, más que sepia era pota de calamar congelado, correoso y sin sabor, el arroz pasado. Llevaba trozos de pimiento verde enormes, guisantes verdes trozos de cebolla grandes también y camaroncitos de estos de bote añadidos al final a modo decoración. En resumen, no pondría la mano en el fuego que en esa cocina hubiera alguien que ha comido en arroz en España. Si buscas comida auténtica este no es el lugar. La reseña es de dos estrellas que se las lleva la atención y el lugar en si. Espero que sirva de ayuda y mejoren. Un saludo

Buen bar Español en Londres , la comida está muy buena lo que creo que los platos son un poco escasos . Muy recomendable.

My husband and I tried tapas . We liked the beef meat balls and aubergine Battered squid was average , and so was battered cod. We found the cod very bland , not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. It came with a dip. Garlic bread with cheese was amazing and i enjoyed the sangria as well , very tasty! We thought it was reasonably priced. I would definitely visit again to try more tapas and paella especially. Customer service was great.

Great food and portions really big

Nipped in here for dinner last night and it was a little surprise gem! Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff and the menu looked great. We ended up getting the meat platter to share - chicken, pork, sausage and the most delicious little lamb chops. Patatas Bravas that were both crispy and smothered in alioli and the traditional red sauce. And a mixed salad. Food was great and really fresh tasting. We will be back! (There was a lot of things on that menu I intend to try. Lucky it just up the road!)

Little Tapas gem in South Ealing. Family run restaurant,genuine tasty food. Father and Wife enjoyed it immensely. We will be going back!

Very glad I found this local place. It’s authentic and has very good variety. We enjoyed everything but the best was the chorizo in wine sauce and the gambas. The basket of bread was also super taste. Would definitely come again.

Walked past this restaurant 100 times - but never noticed it until yesterday. What I have been missing! Had an excellent lunch there with a family member. Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu for two people not knowing a lot about Spanish food. The cold plate of Spanish hams I had as a starter was simply glorious and really enough for two. But I was hungry! The Spanish staff were friendly and welcoming. We each had two main plates and a desert, and a glass of the (better) house wine. Bill came to a tad over £50 for the two of us. Definitely recommended. Will be back next time I am in London.

Very good local Catalan Tapas restaurant

After craving some Spanish food, especially Gambas al ajillo, I was so excited to find somewhere close enough to deliver to me. Although sadly, I was really disappointed with the food. The gambas were way over cooked, the oil didn’t have enough taste of garlic for a garlic dish and the chilli overpowered it. Overall, all the food was bland and not really worth the money.

Friendly service, great croquetes, spotlessly clean place. Recommended.

La peor tortilla de patata de la historia de la humanidad. Pobres ingleses que piensen q esto es lo q sirven en España. Los calamares a la romana también malísimos uno espera de un restaurante q preparen la comida, no q calienten la congelada. Las paellas no están mal.

Lovely tapas restaurant. Each dish is fairly priced but very easy to spend more than intended. The sangria is delightful too. Particular favourites in my house are the potato with blue cheese and the sizzling prawns. Get some bread too to mop up the chilli and garlic oil from the prawns..... yum.

Me and my girlfriend went for dinner and had a nice evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, very easy going. A clean restaurant through out always pleases me when you go to a clean establishment!! There was one concern which we brought up with the staff hence why we gave it four star instead of a five. Also I think it is always nice to support local businesses. Would definitely pass through again.

Excellent local tapas restaurant, highly recommended. Consistent service and first-class food and drink. Visited a total of four times--never disappoints. Update: visited again in April 2022, same excellent food, service and ambience. Highly recommended.

Delicious sangrias. Halloumi bites were tasty, as well as the sizzling prawns. The chicken croquettes were on the special menu and had a great sauce, but needed more chicken texture. The pork cheek lacked seasoning, but was tender. The patata bravas had too much mayonnaise and tomato sauce (which didn’t taste freshly made). I would go back for the churros! The ambience was buzzing with locals and the waiting staff were tentative without being intrusive and could speak Spanish which made the restaurant feel more authentic.

Good to find a Spanish option in this area. My experience is a mix. The plain bread was the best, very fresh. My garlic prawns were overcooked, chewy, and the croquettes were only lukewarm inside, but the pork cheeks were good. For the pricing I expected a bit more consistency overall. While it isn't a terrible experience I would not come back.

The place look really nice. We went for dinner and there was plenty of tables available. Interior is very charming too. Food we ordered was so salty and felt like it's almost poisonous to eat. Fried chicken and grilled pork lion chops was the worst. Don't even eat the grilled/fried chorizo comes with meat platter. They were almost cracking the tongue! Meatballs were really nice and so was the chicken breast on the meat platter. The bread and fresh tomato kind of healed the mouth after eating them. Guess we were too hungry to complain at the start and then worried if we sent back we may get something even bad (if you know what I mean ) End up drinking lots of water throughout the night and the tongue recovered by next day. I would recommend letting the chef know you want less SALT in food if you do visit. I was hoping the waiter will ask how was the food at the end to give feedback but didn't

Me and my wife went to Tapinos for her birthday the service was great and the food was delicious.

What a great location for an intimate evening with a partner or friends! We were served by Rossy who was caring and attentive. The service overall was superb! The food arrived promptly, and was all delicious. As was the Sangria! Thank you Tapinos, we’ll be back!

Good variety of options. Food was authentic and tasty (close to a good restaurant in Spain but not entirely quite the same - it never is so this is not a negative). Atmosphere was good. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean. Sangria was excellent. Overall price for 5 dishes, 2 desserts and a sangria jug price was £75 including service - so price is mid range and good value for money. Good place overall 4 out of 5.

My partner and I are from Spain and we went to Tapinos to eat tapas which we miss so much. We were so happy with the quality of the food, exactly the same as what we’d expect when we eat back home. The pulpo and the crema catalana were amazing and we were very happy to see they also had carajillos! The staff were lovely and the food came fast and well presented. The atmosphere is definitely also a plus, lovely music, decor, etc. We will be back for sure 😊

Sadly a no to this place. Its my local and been there first and last time in November After ordering massive paella I found two hair inside. Said that to waiter who suggested in very specific way its probably my hair. Didn't pay for paella at the end. Tapas was ok probably a bit too cold, wine ok quite pricy I guess. 2 star gained by music and inside decor. Sadly no more visits in this pace...

I have been to this restaurant many times and I really like it, so this month me and some colleagues decided to organise a school visit and bring some students so that they could try Spanish food and practise speaking Spanish with the staff. I can only say good things about the visit, the staff were so nice, acommodating and patient with the kids, everything was so well organised (even though there were a lot of us!) and the food was delicious as always. Everyone was very happy. Really recommend this place, it is also very beautiful and cosy inside. Thank you guys!

Gross. Just ordered grilled sardines, which tasted worse than they smelled. Testless calamary and awful salad. All takeaway goes right into the bin, cany stomach it

I have just popped in in the afternoon for a coffee. I saw they have chocolate con churros, which I haven't had for a very long time, so I was happy to find it here. What I got was not a chocolate con churros, but churros with chocolate dip, this is very different and therefore over priced. Never ever in Spain you would be served a hot chocolate in an expresso cup. This doesn't invite me to try any other food here, as they could not get right the traditional chocolate con churros which I also suspect were frozen as the centre was undercooked. Shame.

Had the loveliest time at Tapinos!! Surprised even the waiter with our ability to eat, he congratulated us when we were finished. Delicious tapas, felt very authentic. Lovely, cozy atmosphere, and the Sangria was 10/10 despite the lack of Spanish sun to drink it under. Overall, a wonderful experience and my family and I shall be back soon! :) <3

Today I ordered food from your restaurant, the order was delayed an hour and forty minutes your restaurant is in ealing and I live in ealing so why was it all this delay? and you also didn't send me a 1 Cocacola So your service deserves one star unfortunately.

Had the feel of a real Spanish bar, very relaxed. Couple of drinks and couple of tapas on a Saturday afternoon. We'll go back and try the paella - it looked good.

Visiting our son in Ealing we were looking for somewhere different for Sunday lunch. What a find! We shared 10 dishes amongst us and every dish was delicious. Excellent customer service by the owner who waited upon us.

Very good experience at Tapinos. Tapas choices were very fresh and tasted awesome, Sangria was made with authentic style. Some dishes even tasted better than my recent visit to tapas bars in Seville. Overall a must visit for spanish food lovers

Hidden gem! Recommend the pork cheek and burgers! 10/10. Lovely atmosphere with fantastic Spanish decor and music. The owner Eduard was very hospitable. Definitely recommend for a delicious local meal.

Food is fabulous. Wine chosen was the best I have had an any establishment. But they do charge 10%Service which 4pm feel should be up to the customer.

Went to the restaurant with my girlfriend last night (we usually go every Valentine’s Day but missed it due to covid this year) and was again, amazed by the food quality and the service, especially Sebastian who allowed me to take my sangria home and topped it up for me, which was an incredibly nice gesture. Some food is amazing and the real Spanish food. But others are quite a miss. The paella with squid ink is my favourite. Really tasty. Unfortunately I had a Spanish omelette and it was tasteless and dry. The croquetas were ok.
