Polka Kitchen is by far the best Polish restaurant I have visited in London. The food is very authentic and the Ambience is incredible. I had the white Polish Sausage with fried cabbage and horseradish for starter, and the wild boar pierogi fir mains. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were incredibly balanced. The service was also amazing. Our waitress Irene was very friendly with a great sense of humour and made us all happy. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be visiting again soon.

If you’re a regular customer like me, you’d expect at least a fair and respectful experience. Today, I came in for breakfast at this restaurant—one that’s literally across from my home and where I’ve been a loyal customer. I requested a specific table, only to be told it was reserved. However, not only was there no “reserved” sign on it, but the previous customers’ coffee cups were still sitting there. To make things worse, no one sat at that table for the next two hours. Instead, we were given a table surrounded by multiple four-person tables in a noisy section, while half of the restaurant remained empty. This completely ruined the enjoyment of my breakfast. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect fairness and common sense. Disappointed.

Superb restaurant - food was great, huge portions, staff were friendly and efficient. They have a patisserie and a deli section too, also worth visiting.

Many years ago, in the center of my district of Ealing in London, where I live, the construction of a huge modern residential project combined with services began. It took over 10 years, but the effect was wonderful, on the ground floor of several apartment buildings of various shapes there are luxury shops, services and Polka Kitchen ~~ restaurant~~cafe, covering hundreds of square meters, as well as outside under huge umbrellas. The decor is calm but designed so that everyone feels comfortable. A large number of staff ensures quick service. Polish food but prepared in an exquisite way, even pork chop feels like it was nominated for an Oscar. But the real medal goes to sweets, everything delivered from Poland every Friday. Cakes, cookies, ice cream and more yum, yum. There is always a queue in front of the counter that sells finished products. Customers of every nationality, there are also Poles, but in the minority. * I go there almost every day for a little black dress with milk and ice cream. Polka Kitchen has no competition even though there are several similar places nearby. It's empty there and at least half of the tables in Polce Kitchen are occupied. The weekend is one of the busiest, reservations are required. I have lived in Ealing for several decades and we have missed it greatly such a cafe ~ restaurant. I feel like I dropped by for a coffee in Warsaw, this European atmosphere and wonderful, unobtrusive decor > and these are important things when similar places around have a different atmosphere and they pay no attention to the interior design and the quality of the dishes served. The staff wears private clothes and you don't know who is who. Great restaurant, very good Polish food, very good service but make a reservation for evenings and weekends as it's usually packed

The restaurant is generally very nice inside. The first time I was for breakfast, scrambled eggs with avocado was good, but I got tea from an unwashed cup, it had greasy marks. The next time I was for a steak, where it was really delicious. But unfortunately the żurek was watery for me, two slices of sausage and half an egg. I was very surprised by the service charge, where it is added to the bill. The lady said that it is usually like that everywhere, I often go to restaurants and I have never met

I went to Polka multiple times, and it's always been a fantastic experience. I think they improved everything when they moved from their previous location. I usually had a traditional pork cutlet or a duck. Recently, I had oyster mushrooms, and they were delicious. Also, Zurek was fantastic. No wonder you need to book a table on Saturday and Sunday. I will come back there many times and will recommend them too. The service is high quality and friendly.

We celebrated a birthday here and it was a perfect choice! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor. The service was extremely cordial and took care of every detail, thanks to which the evening passed in a great mood. Special thanks go to the waitress Ania, who made us feel special with her kindness, smile and professionalism. She was extremely helpful, took care of every detail and spread positive energy. I absolutely love this place. Food is delicious and presentation of it even better. They do not compromise on quality the dishes whilst keeping it reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves Polish food! The restaurant is elegant and staff is friendly. Everyone was really helpful making recommendations. Hands down to the owner for coming up with this great concept whist keeping prices reasonable. There are many restaurants charging fortune for poor quality food and services. This place is different! They provided us with great customer service and we will definitely be back. Restaurant is located slightly off the main road in a quiet alleyway. Their selection of freshly baked cakes is unbelievable!

I loved this place when it was Sowa, and as Polka, it’s only gotten better. While I haven’t yet tried the restaurant dishes under the new name, the cakes remain absolutely to die for. Each one strikes the perfect balance of sweetness, never overpowering, always just right. What truly sets them apart is how every cake has its own distinct character, unlike the more generic offerings you often find in tourist hotspots in central London.

I had dinner at Polka tonight. We waited 10min to be served. Drinks arrived 10min later. Food arrived 40min after. Portion was very small (2 sliced chicken roulades) with little flavers and some billed vegetables with no flavors at all. Very disappointing. Therefore my gerenal experience was worth 2 stars.

Best polish restaurant in town. The Sour soup was absolutely gorgeous, so was the boar pate. Would also highly recommend the Polish honey beer.

Amazing place! Very stylish. Great food. We were celebrating my dad's birthday and I ordered the cake from the restaurant which was delivered with the birthday song to the table after we finished the main meal. All food was delicious and the cake was very tasty. Ms Anna is a real star, we received a fantastic service from her. We will definitely come back.

I had a potato and cheese Pirogi and it was so yummy i can go there everyday now. Just try their pirogis; super good. There is one thing that is a little annoying tho. Majority of the menu; even the soup is pork based. It would be cool to have more non-pork options. Update: We went again for the dinner and tried a couple of the other stuff. All super good. Just PLEASE more non pork stuff.

This was our second Valentine’s Day with my fiancé here and we were very pleased. The atmosphere was incredible, had a candle lit dinner with live artist playing on her acoustic guitar. They even accommodated my request for a table with a window view. Great service and delicious food.

How did I not notice this adorable place before? It's beautifully decorated with an upscale atmosphere complemented with the excellent service. The pierogi and tea I ordered was delicious and thoughtfully presented. They also serve a range of tea, coffee and desserts so you don't have to get something large. I will definitely be coming here again.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Right from the very beginning, we were greeted by cold broth, probably because of the cold dumplings thrown into it. Additionally, the meat in the dumplings was hard and compact, which did not make it pleasant to eat. The main course also did not meet expectations - the duck was hard and soaked in beetroot juice, and the meat dumplings were mediocre. In addition, the apple pie we ordered was not the one we wanted, which additionally influenced our rating. For a bill of over £100 we expected better food quality and larger portions. Unfortunately, the portions were small, the prices were high, and the taste of the dishes was nothing special. We definitely do not plan on returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to others.

Glamorous place with McDonald's chips - shame and very disappointing as should be home-made from polish potatoes. Dumplings ok but too dry for me. Shame there is no potato pancakes or sweet pancakes in menu. Cakes very good!

Absolutely love this place! The staff are always friendly, and it’s a great spot for lunch or dinner. It gets busier at weekends, so pre-booking is often necessary during peak hours. I turned up once and, unfortunately, it was extremely busy. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The location is fantastic—right next to a car park, a train station, and a shopping centre. It has a lovely, cosy, and calm atmosphere. I always come after shopping or dinner with friends.

Fantastic service and delicious food. I highly recommend starting with the steak tartare and the black pudding with panko. For mains, the wild game goulash and duck were both amazing. Overall, a very lovely experience—we’ll definitely be returning!

I ordered and which arrived lukewarm and poorly presented. The flavors were bland, and it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. My companion’s dish was undercooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen, which added another 30 minutes to our wait time. The portions were small for the price, and nothing felt fresh or authentic. • Cleanliness: The overall hygiene of the restaurant was concerning. The tables were sticky, and there were crumbs left from previous customers. The restroom was in a deplorable state—dirty floors, no soap, and an unpleasant odor. • Ambiance: While the décor might have been nice at some point, it now feels outdated and poorly maintained. The lighting was too dim, making it hard to read the menu, and the background music was either too loud or nonexistent. • Value for Money: Considering the poor food quality, subpar service, and lack of cleanliness, the meal was outrageously overpriced. I’ve had much better dining experiences at more affordable places. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I visited Polka restaurant today and was very very disappointed with service and staff attitude I received. I used to visit that restaurant since many years ( used to be Sowa restaurant in different location , but same staff was working there ) . We arrived at 4:30 pm and asked lady with curly hair which was standing behind the counter (she is with that company from the beginning ) if they still serving she replied ‘of course “ we also seen waitress coming out from the kitchen with food and serving to the table . There were around 4/5 tables occupied by the guests. When we approached table area I asked one of the waitresses if is ok to seat anywhere, but her reply was that we not serving anymore as they about to close entire restaurant for a day !! I was very surprise so asked the lady with curly hair again what is wrong as seconds ago we could have a table ? And here comes her strange explanations that actually today is only take away service ( why she did not mention that in the 1 st place ?) and information is on the door , I asked why others can seat and enjoy the full experience and been told that they done bookings for the anniversary etc again how strange she twisted all around and did not remember what just said minutes ago ? Then waitresses which refused us a table show up and with funny face was saying yes we closing at 5 etc . On the website says that restaurant is open till 6 pm . I would never make any fuus about it if the right information would be given in the first place . This place used to be very friendly with nice and professional staff ( Miss Klaudia Top Class) but now I would never ever visit Polka again as attitude You can never buy You have it or not . Shame on them .

Great spot in centre of Ealing Broadway beautiful interior design classy and chic, good was to die for and plated very elegantly, great modern twist on classic Polish cuisine. Pierogi with wild boar filling, goulash, classic pork schnitzel, traditional Polish soups and a great selection of cakes! Will definetely be back. This hidden jem in Ealing Broadway was one of the highlights of our trip. Set in a quiet lane of Dickens yard, the interior was a beautiful, elegant delight. Cocktails were exquisitely crafted. The meals were truly delicious and well presented. The desserts were generous and delicious. Prices here are surprisingly reasonable compared to other restaurants or even pubs in the area. Service was attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

From start to finish the meal was fantastic 👌 ⭐️ Quarter duck in gravy – tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat that paired perfectly with the rich gravy ⭕️ Wild boar pierogi - each bite packed with flavour, topped off with a lovely mushroom sauce and a hint of cranberry for sweetness ⭐️ Mille-feuille - light and fluffy, striking the perfect balance between indulgent and not overly heavy. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!

I have been to Polka several times, the staff is very friendly, the food is authentic, the cakes are delicious. The bartender Bartosz is on another level, really nice and always ready to advise me the best. I recommend it to everyone, one of the best bars/restaurants in Ealing!

Overall great place. One of the best foods in London! However, one time they didnt let us order desserts without main even though it wasnt full with people. It felt a bit odd and not nice, dont think its a standard practice if you have desserts in your menu.

They were happy and flexible to make non- alcoholic drink for my friend, and that was out of menu thing, so always appreciate small things like these. My favourite polish place in London and I don't even live nearby. Thank you- back again for Christmas dinner with more friends along:)

I hosted a dinner for my friends and family to celebrate my civil ceremony and must say that Polka did an amazing job to deliver beyond my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful flowers, name cards, balloons which elevated the atmosphere of the private dining space. The food was absolutely delicious (thank you to the chef Marcin) and praised by all the guests. The service was equally incredible and made my experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend Polka if you are looking for a great culinary experience or to host a private event. Thank you Polka for such a special day!
