Nando's - Ealing Common in Ealing

i’ve only ever ordered delivery from here but every time the food is amazing. even when we’ve called them to request sauces they’re extremely accommodating and so polite!

Staff lovely, but food was shockingly bad. My “grilled” chicken was completely white??? No grill marks, no taste at ALL. My partner had the halloumi and mushroom pitta, I’ve never seen a meaner portion of halloumi in my gastronomic history. You could almost see through the halloumi, it was laughable. The spicy rice we were served was stone cold in parts and boiling hot in others. The clearly microwaved side was really the cherry on top of our meal. We were regulars here for years, and always always loved the food here, but haven’t been for a couple of years now. I’m not sure quite what has happened to Nando’s, but I most certainly won’t be returning. What a disappointment, what was once such an institution, has now fallen into the same old fast food trap. Never again.

Disgusting behaviour of the staff.we arrived 3 minutes earlier of opening times, I beg the staff to enter and wait inside instead of outside as I was with my severe autistic child and his brother, I explained to them that my son is autistic and this will cause him a great distress as he doesn’t know the concept of waiting and it’s only 3 minutes earlier !!!! and I begged them to wait inside and they didn’t let us in at all and they shout the door in our face, my son ended up having a meltdown with screams outside the Nando’s for full 30 minutes of distress, and he didn’t even want to try and come back to Nando’s at all, this is my last time ever I will ever visit such a place of disgusting staff ( black lady and Indian guy) sorry for prescribing them as their race but only because I don’t know their names , if they let us int this won’t happen at all. Definitely I don’t recommend this place to any special needs kids and parents

Super kind staff, delicious food!

Dropped in to get a medium spiced 'grilled chicken' wrap for takeaway. It was ready quickly (too quickly, like 2 mins). I took one bite and noticed the chicken was unseasoned and barely warm. I went back and showed them, so they made a fresh one. I asked why I'm not seeing chicken go on the grill, to which the manager showed me they use a different 'grill' in the kitchen - a flat top stove, which is just a frying pan without oil. So if you expect to get grilled chicken at Nando's, you won't! When the fresh wrap came I was about to leave with it but a staff member (an Asian girl) asked me to check it while I was there. I told her that the chicken is better now but the wrap on this one is stale and hard. She started to argue with me that it's because I only ordered a single fillet wrap and so there's more bread on it(?), which makes no sense in terms of whether the wrap is hard and stale or not. It seemed she asked me how it was just so she could argue with me, making up excuses for it instead of trying to get things right. What should have been a simple order became a negative experience. Would not recommend on the basis of staff service.

Visited Ealing Common branch for my nephews birthday with all the family. Service was great staff were smiley and attentive, one even refilled my water for me which is definitely going above and beyond. I had my usual order of chicken thighs rice and peas.

Gran bocado rápido. El personal era tan amable, no veo por qué tanta gente se queja de que todo era perfecto. El personal Init era genial y también la señora. La comida salió humeante caliente y se sirvió un almuerzo.

When I visited Nando’s to pick up a delivery order, I encountered an incredibly rude experience with one of the staff members, a young Indian woman wearing a pink shirt. When I approached the window and showed her the order number, she abruptly shut the window in my face, took the order back, and walked away without any explanation. Trying to stay understanding, I assumed she might have been having a bad day and decided to approach her friendly colleague instead. To my shock, she intervened again, instructing her colleague not to hand over the order to me. I was left feeling deeply disrespected and disappointed by her unprofessional behavior. It’s unfortunate that such actions can ruin the reputation of a great restaurant like Nando’s and make customers feel unwelcome. I hope this feedback leads to better training and customer service in the future.

This Nandos has been around since the late 90s. It has always been my favourite. This restaurants food still has the nandos flavours that I remember & used to crave for. I definitely am not keen on the Ealing branch, Uxbridge branch or the South Harrow branch. Been here many times, with many friends, definitely much better than any other Nandos restaurant simply because their flavours are richer & still obviously the taste is the same as the taste i remember in 1997 onwards. Plus it has been running for years & hopefully for many more years to come.

Extremely welcoming and supportive of neurodiverse individuals, they prioritised preparing food first to prevent potential distress. Kudos to the manager for being proactive and showing initiative.

I was working in the area, and fancied it. The girl who served me was ever so sweet, and assisted me with how to order vi's the app, and the food was really nice.

Me and my partner went for dinner here, it was a Saturday evening and the staff looked very busy serving dine in and take away customer as well as giving out food for delivery, however we were seated right away. We had to wait a little longer than usual for our food but the staff was very attentive and offered us complimentary started to compensate us for waiting for our food. Would recommend it 😊

Came here regularly when it first opened in the early 90's and was also the first in the UK. Hasn't lost its taste nor service. Took me back to my early 20's...

Don't do takeaway unless you are prepared to wait for a literal hour, get ignored while waiting right there and see how the staff just doesn't give a damn if you try to be assertive or give any sort of feedback. Come on, at least say that you've got a bazillion orders, don't add to the dumpster fire.

Waited 50 mins for a takeaway, staff wouldn't bother apologising or explaining the situation.

Cold grilled chicken ? Not sure how that works out also service is very slow

Nowadays you can get a nice salad and wraps, not just standard Nando's offers.

Good location. Friendly staff. Service is quick. The chicken is delicious. Affordable prices. This branch was the first in the UK as I was told and totally worth a visit. Highly recommended.

I ordered take out & got home. I checked my food. The corn on the cob did not look fresh at all. The chips hard and did not taste fresh, and don't get me started on the chicken. How can you make chicken so dry? I don't recommend this one.

Living in the area 10 years but first time to Nando’s, and the first UK Nando’s at that!

The first Nando's to open in England, and it was very nice.

I placed a bet on the Grand National just for fun and took the betting slip with me to Nando’s, where I enjoyed my lunch. Unfortunately, I accidentally left the slip there and only realized it after discovering I had won later in the day. When I returned to search for the slip, Cecilia was incredibly helpful, even searching through the bins to help me find it. I later went to the betting shop, which had a record of my purchase and paid out my winnings. I returned to Nando’s to thank Cecilia for her kindness, and it turned out she had continued searching, eventually finding the ticket and safely placing it under the till for me. Her act of kindness was truly touching. It’s also a great Nando’s!

Nandos is always good and special!!! I think it is the best option for eating and sharing time with friends and family. We order many items such as olives, humous, chicken wings, lemon and herbs, chicken liver peritamer, loaded chips peritamer, and macaroni cheese. For dessert, we order the pudding. It's a new dessert. For drinks cold te rubro peach and sagres. The drinks were perfect cold. I enjoyed my beer a lot. The chicken was perfect cooked, and the liver was delicious. The macaroni cheese was exquisite. The olive with its reach savoury was perfect with my sagres. I really love to eat at Nandos. It's healthy, fresh food. The customer service, as always, was amazing. The cashier Tini was very kind and friendly, and the manager CC,( its initial of her namebadge) made us feel like we were with our family in our house. The environment was very nice, the restaurant was beautiful and the music was at the perfect volume. ❤️ Ealing Common Nandos.

Rafael was extremely generous. I ordered 1/2 Chicken Extra Hot and wanted 2 breast pieces and he simply sorted it out for me no questions asked. Always been my favourite Nandos and still will be. Thanks Rafael!

Yanis the Manager was extremely rude and absolutely useless. My delivery order went missing on route (happens often when using the website to order a delivery) and I was explaining the situation, he just passed the phone to a colleague while I was mid-sentence before I could even finish. If you don’t like working with the public or lack the skill DO NOT WORK WITH THE PUBLIC!

The whole chicken was very small (it said it was for 2 to 3 people but far from it). The corn we were served was pathetic (skinny corn and dry) as if it had been in the kitchen for ages. Peri peri chips were not properly peri peri chips (it was just regular chips and some peri peri seasoning on top). On top of that, the prices have increased along with inflation I assume. Very disappointed and will not come again. The presentation of the food was also pathetic.

First time in London and first time at any of the Nando's. I had nice experience. The chicken I ordered was juicy and spicy 🔥 the mash could have been better but the chips were good. The place was small but cozy. The host and the lady taking orders were professional and very nice to the customers , brilliant at their jobs!

Unfortunately at nando's these days I find the quality of the food varies quite a bit - sometimes it's full of flavour and hot, other times it's dry and barely warm. Here I would say it's better than most, I usually come when it's not so busy though, which helps.

This site is the first Nando's restaurant that opened in the UK! I've been to this Nando's quite a lot, for eating in and taking out. The staff are all super nice, they're very polite and helpful. The food is great and always well prepared.

Nando’s Ealing Common do not manage their deliveries very well at all. The 1st time I ordered from them, the driver got lost and arrived late, despite the address being clearly marked. The 2nd time I ordered a few months later, the delivery didn’t arrive at all, and I had to request a refund. Furthermore, they are no help when you call them. Instead of investigating what happened, they just redirect you to deliveroo.

Somehow a piece of history as this is the first Nandos in UK !! A pity that the seating area has been reduced to create an area dedicated to the takeaway orders. At busy time you might have to wait quite a long time to get a table - in the evening it gets less busy after 8.30pm. Staff really tries to be friendly and helpful but that does not prevent the long wait. Otherwise, the chicken is really good and perfectly cooked.

Their service is really really really good! I went there for 3 times and every time the manager did the staffs are friendly attitude, take care! Once time I bring my friend to try here and it’s his first time to try Nando, that’s already very late time and my friend want to try a dessert but the store nearly close, the staff and manager bring one to let him try and didn’t show any bad attitude, I’m really appreciated! About the food, me and my friend try more more nando after, and we feel the same that this one the chicken is the best! The meat taste fresh and won’t be over cooked.

Customer service was excellent. Staff were very professional and respectful. However, the sweet potato wedges were flavourless and very undercooked. Not worth the money. My pitta fino was nice.

Went I to nandos today with my wife, we was greeted by this plesent staff member (think the name is arun) young Asian boy

Terrible service today. I asked the staff if they do nhs blue light card, I showed them my ID and they said they do not accept that as it is not “NHS” however there are other services that qualify you to have a blue light card which I told them. When food arrived the chicken was dry and burnt, I asked to have my food changed and when the so called manager brought the food she was very rude. Won’t be coming here again.

My third time here when the Ealing Bond Street branch is closed and I just have to vent. The worst nandos by far and its totally preventable. The chicken is so dry, lettuce in my wrap is old, halloumi is black burned and the chips are so undercooked I have to do them in the airfryer again. Sort it out guys, it's an abomination! The other Ealing branch is 10/10 and gets it right every time.

Much better food and atmosphere in here compared to the Ealing Broadway Nando’s. We visited both of these during this half term and found the experience much better here. It’s less busy and the food is always perfect.

Terrible service. The food has been delivered to a wrong address. Called Nando’s and they say we can not do anything about it , called Deliveroo. It is impossible to contact Deliveroo. No one does anything about it. Someone had enjoy with their free food on my expense!!!! Never again!!!

Standard Nandos experience. Pleasant enough staff and timely food preparation. Quite a small interior adjacent to the tube station.

The usual Nando's experience, no better - no worse. Staff pleasant particularly the Asian staff member who took our order and kept checking on us throughout dinner.

Food was good as usual but two young lads in their tonight Aaron and another young lad on the shop floor, didnt catch his name but was wearing a black t-shirt and hat. So very polite and helpful, manners were fantastic and that for me is everything, we need more people like these two young lads, Two great members of staff there!! All the best J
