Tap Coffee in City of London, Westminster

Acordé encontrarme con un amigo aquí a las 5:30 un martes y, a la primera entrada, el lugar parecía agradable y amigable; sin embargo, cuando traté de ordenar, me dijeron que no había café descafeinado disponible y que tendríamos que beber de vasos de papel porque el personal no estaría lavando los platos. Entonces pagué 3. 10 por un pequeño chocolate caliente que apenas tenía sabor. Luego nos dijeron que no se nos permitía sentarnos hacia atrás porque cerrarían pronto, luego a las 5: 50 nos dijeron que el lugar se cerraría en 15 minutos a pesar de que la hora oficial de cierre en el sitio web era las 7:00 y habiendo al menos 15 clientes sentados bebiendo. Durante el resto de nuestro tiempo allí, el personal se demoró mirando por encima de nuestros hombros para ver si habíamos terminado las bebidas y cuando finalmente nos fuimos, no hubo adiós ni gracias del personal, ni siquiera una mirada hacia nosotros o un sonrisa. No volveremos y no recomendaría visitar después de las 5 pm cuando el personal obviamente quiere ir a casa en lugar de brindar un buen servicio al cliente. (Visitado el 19/11/19).

Un descanso de las compras es útil en una cafetería como Tap Coffee, donde bebemos muy buenos cafés. Apreciamos el amable personal.

Me and my buddy have been looking for a great cuppa in London, and finally found it. Their pour over coffee (Columiba) was amazing, while their Ethiopian was just ok (as well as the cortado I had yesterday). For my few days here, this is my go to place for a good cup of pour-over coffee! Recommended!!

Tap brews up a nice strong cup of coffee and the pastries are quite good as well. There are several locations in London but the one I frequent is the one on Wardour Street, just 1/2 block south of Oxford Street. So it makes a good place to take a break from shopping. I don't think they have a sign out front, so just look for "193" and the bicycle mounted above the front door. Download their app to take advantage of their loyalty program.

Estuvimos para desayunar. La entrada ves una barra llena de sandwiches, dulces y pides lo que te apetece con tu café, y la camarera te da un ticket, con eso te sientas en una mes hasta que te traiga tu desayuno. Cad ma decoración, cada detalle nos gustó mucho. Estilo vintage, londoniense, probamos 2 sandwiches y un brownie para probar. El brownie nos pareció demasiado dulce, pero los sandwiches muy buenos!!! Un ambiente casual, cálido, cuando volvamos a Londres, seguro que iremos allí!

If you love the real taste of coffee, this is the place where you can find great coffee. We found the place by chance, while we were looking for a spot to spend some time before "The Exorcist" at the Phoenix theater. And we got impressed of how good the coffee was. Great place!

Quirky small chain of coffee shops. The one in Rathbone Place is better. Decent coffees ( but they were not serving their specialty filter coffees at the time which was disappointing). Not bad teas. Stay cross legged rather than use the loos though. Great atmosphere though so on balance recommended.

I'd seen this place a lot and have wanted to try it for some time. I'd actually tried before but it had been too busy. Went in Saturday afternoon for a coffee. Nice place inside, friendly staff, and genuinely one of the best espressos I've ever had. Can't comment on the food as the coffee was all I had, but they had some good looking cupcakes, cheesecake, brownies etc, and I noticed a gluten free sign on one of them so evidently they try to cater to everyone. Anyway, loved the coffee and I'll definitely be back to try more. Would definitely recommend.

Walked past it at first as changed name. Business taken over 6m ago , renamed 3 weeks ago. Still very good quality coffee and an excellent soft granola with a gingery hint. Same rustic wooden tables and seating plus Tate and Lyle treacle tins for sugar. You pay and get your cakes as you go in and the coffee is being made by two people busily but calmly working away further into the cafe. Quite calm atmosphere despite busy time of day before workers start.

Husband and I stopped here for a quick coffee. What a delight - even on a Saturday afternoon it was lively and buzzing. Lots of cool people catching up and enjoying the free Wi-fi with their laptops, tablets and phones. Good range of cakes and sarnies. We had lattes and shared a white chocolate lemon and lavender biscuit. Each drink comes with an unusual spoon 🥄. Recommended
