Tap And Tipple in Stockport

Tried to take my brother who is wheelchair bound to the toilet. The accessible’ toilet is in the ladies and is so constructed that there was no way he could go in and close the door without a lot of assistance. I assume they don’t want people with disability to go to the pub as nothing about it is helpful. If you are in a wheelchair avoid this place.

Thought we’d try this place for a change of scene. BIG MISTAKE. In brief, it’s very tired, noisy (two tvs and very loud background music playing) and very dirty. The upholstery throughout is worn, tatty and paint-splashed. I was almost sick standing at the urinals, staring at wall tiles splattered with dried nasal mucus (SNOT!). In a word: disgusting. At least give the place a good clean. Should have realised that something was amiss given that the place was near empty on a Saturday night.

Really is cozy cafeeee. Food and service brilliant. Just took the family for late breakky

I’ve come here quite a few times and it’s always been good, nice staff and good atmosphere. Unfortunately the landlord had to ruin that, he has an awful attitude and clearly doesn’t like his job!
