Taormina Italian Deli Cafe in City of London, Westminster

Excellent Italian, so good we went two nights on our weekend visit. Recommend the lasagna and pizza and the aperol spritz. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Outside table was cool as a warm weekend

Uppvärmd mat. Vi åt lasagne och en av kalv-rätterna. Köttet var torrt och potatisen hård som det ju blir när maten lagats för länge sedan och bara värms upp. Lasagnen var torr och träig. Hit går vi inte igen.

Our company of 4 adults and 2 kids has a nice dinner close to our hotel with tasty classical Italian dishes.

We‘ve been there with students, therefore we asked not to be charged 12,5% for the service, but there would be a tip at the end. As we only had pizzas and soft drinks, the service didn‘t care for us as we were not profitable fir them. The waiters didn‘t ask us if we need more drinks or needed anything more. The pizzas were not as usual pizzas, quite small but thick bread. They don‘t do ½ pizzas anymore. At the end we didn‘t tip them because, in our opinion, the service didn‘t derserve any. They made us feel that we should leave as soon as possible.

Our first impression wasn't great- we booked in advance but when we arrived were told the table we booked had to be given back only 1 hour and 15 minutes later- if we didn't want a time limit we could be sat elsewhere. Quickly asked if we wanted drinks by a friendly waiter, but the manager who took orders just arrives at your table and mutters 'Yes' to take your order- a little cold, no small talk- made you feel like you are an inconvenience. Food was standard, service charge automatically added to your bill. I tip for good service, I don't expect the restaurant to have already decided that I will be tipping and to have decided how much it will be. Probably wouldn't return.

Having to spend an extra night in London I watched and found this plane. Great food, quick service and a very decent house red. Pizza cooked to perfection and served quickly. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Avoid this place at all costs. Food was absolutely disgusting, worse restaurant I have ever eaten in in my entire life! I wouldn't feed the food to my dog. Wouldn't go back if you paid me. Don't waste your time or money.

Made to feel very welcome in this nice restaurant. Food is excellent and location good. Really authentic dishes and great service.

The best carbonara I have ever eaten. Very authentic looking and in a nice quiet street just off Hyde Park. My daughter had pizza once again very nice. Service great

My husband, mother in law and I ate at this lovely little restaurant last Friday. We immediately felt welcomed by our waiter and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The pizzas were amazing, the wine was great and the service was friendly and helpful! We can’t recommend it highly enough - thank you for getting our long weekend off to a fabulous start.

Lovely little Italian tucked behind Lancaster gate off hyde park. Great menu, the food was fantastic and served fast, and the staff took ppe measures very seriously, highly recommended

The food here is fantastic, one of the best meals I’ve had on our 6 week trip. The service was great, friendly and quick. The decor is typically Italian and the atmosphere is great. We were early for our meal but by the time we left just after 7.00pm the place was full with a number of local Italians eating here. We are glad we found you on our last night in London. Highly recommended.

3 vegetarian options were delicious and salads were fresh and full of veggies. Always full, but I was able to make a reservation without a problem.

The service was average the food was average. We were hungry and running out of options for dinner so we tried Taormina's. It was not bad it was just average, so many other better restaurants in the neighborhood that you can go to.

The food is very good. The cocktails in a perfect Italian style (no matter about amount of alcohol inside) It is not a cheep place but I think there is a reason for it!
