Awful! 1.5 hours for delivery and food was stone cold when it arrived.

The best Chinese in Coleshill and surrounding areas by far, quick delivery 👌 I ordered today 01/12/23 food was excellent as usual BUT I tipped the driver 10% and they refused to give it the driver. Won't be ordering again03012025, just ordered again, bad mistake. Mushroom curry like water, no flavour. Chips ok. Total waste of time. 100% will not be ordering again from these. Not a patch on the people before. TERRIBLE

Absolutely disgusting get ur order wrong and when u say u want ur meal replaced because it’s missing items and u don’t want to wait 30mins for main part of ur dinner to show up they start to get angry … so they request the whole meal be returned… not unreasonable but hey this is a Chinese place I bet one of you got my old Chow Mein after I sent mine back … the chicken balls I was sent back was undercooked and soggy batter inside .. and the chow Mein the chicken was hard in it.. don’t know how but it was revolting 🤮 and they missed out my curry sauce this time around! 😂🤣didn’t bother phoning again binned the lot and cooked food . I will never eat from here again it’s been declining for months now this is the last straw TOP QUALITY CHINESE IS WOK N ROLL.. only issue it’s busy and takes a while also quite pricey

Quite possibly the best chow mein and pancake rolls we’ve ever had. Excellent service. Excellent food. Wished we lived closer!!

Would give it zero stars if I could. Truly awful experience delivery arrived after the driver was rude and incapable of following directions. But anyway food arrived and the order was cold and wrong to which we rang up and complained and the woman on the phone was rude and eventually hung up so I called back and she hung up instantly. Avoid at all costs.

THEY DO NOT LISTEN!! Ordered Thai King Prawn Curry and told them twice and pointed it out and gave them the number of the item. Ended up with Sweet & Sour!! Also asked for tray of chips and curry sauce and specifically asked if it can be a few chips and loads of sauce and hey presto THEY DID NOT LISTEN. Ended up with chips all stuck together and barely any sauce.

Exceptional food and staff. Best chinese i have tasted in a while.

used to live in water orton and always had this takeaway, absolutely loved it and was my favourite. we have just travelled to come back and when we got home half of the order was missing that we asked and you added 2 lots of chips even though they weren’t ordered and the sweet and sour sauce tasted totally off. very disappointed

Everything we ordered was flavourless, Singapore fried rice had no spice to it whatsoever and chicken balls were really greasy. Prices are really expensive compared to our regular go to Chinese as well, doubt I'd order again

Had one tonight yet again hoping for improvement. Had King prawn omlette (best to be safe with this chinese) and comes with chips. The chips were laughable and yet again ribs burnt. Curry sauce watery. 2024 never again!!!! Tao Tao is a disgrace and foul and with the prive hikes.... over the top!!! Look at the portion of chips i received!!! Robbed.

Had a takeaway delivered. Short on order when food came.Chowmein as dry as Nuns you know what curry sauce so bland i could go on and on.Phoned up to tell them they had messed up on order woman on the end of the phone couldn't understand a word i was saying.Instead she jept on saying hold on and then taking orders.Total Joke this lot never again.What goes around comes around.

Food is good,I'm a regular but they're pricing themselves out of business. My order used to cost £12.40 a couple of months ago now it's over £17. Sorry no more orders from me. 😞

Overall very disappointed the food arrived more than 30min late and was cold. Then when opened it all looked as though it had been reheated not fresh at all. We won't be using again.

Have used this Chinese for the last couple of years but very disappointing meal tonight and more disappointed to find out the tip for the driver on the order website doesn't make it to the driver. Such a shame.

Ordered takeaway waited 1 1/2 hours then phoned to ask where the food was. The woman told us it was out for delivery and waited another half hour still didn't arrive, phoned again to be told its out on delivery still. Told them to cancel but still took our money, still waiting for a refund. Avoid at all costs

Omg Food isn’t too bad but this has to be the most unfriendly take away I have ever visited. Talk about hating your customers

I'm an absolutely foody when it comes to Chinese food. Ordered War Tip dumplings, don't know what the hell I was eating but it certainly wasn't War Tip! Thank you Tao Tao but will not be ordering food from you again.

I ordered from here years ago but now we’re living local to the area we decided to order again. Couldn’t fault any of the food, it was all really nice and fresh! I’ve never had a Chinese takeout as fresh and hot as this one. Will definitely be using as our new regular Chinese :)

What a lot of garbage . We started going there about 4 years ago food was nice. The last 2-3 some of the dishes were not good, I was even sick after a curry. It’s been a while thought we would try again. Every dish was horrible the yuk sung smelt terrible and was inedible, and looked like poo. The sweet and sour prawn were tasteless. The vegetable rice was insipid and tasted vile. The barbecue spare ribs were nice…. Hurrah £25.00 down in the bin. definitely NOT GOING BACK.

Waited nearly 3 hours for food they constantly hung up phone when answered so decided to drive up to them when I got there I was confronted by a frantic woman I asked for my food or my money back she then ran off in the back a couple of mins later she came back and asked me to phone home as it had been delivered. And then offered me free food. When I got home the food had been dumped in the porch. And may I say £40 for 2 meals is not cheap and the food was that bad the dog wouldn’t eat it won’t be ordering from them again

Since the management changed the food has totally become bland. No Taste at all we threw half away. Have been ordering since the first lockdown. Was perfect. Suddenly they have a chef who clearly cannot cook

Ordered king prawn curry and salt pepper chicken, curry was tasteless and the sauce was like water, the pepper chicken was like scraps of chicken size of popcirn chicken.

This takeaway as been taken over by new people and there prices have gone up quite a lot the service was slow 35min wait.i only live a 5 min drive and it was cold to warm chip wasn't nice . Also the waiting room floor was very sticky and looked like everything needed a good clean

Can’t even give a ZERO STAR! After ordering here for 5 years I will not be ordering again after tonight. The level of food and service has dropped since Lyn left. Order placed at 8:20 told 30/40 minutes until food arrival HOWEVER the order didn’t arrive until 9:50 food was cold and very distasteful!! Phoned to tell them food was cold and the young man blamed the delivery driver.. typical blame the drivers that you hire and not the fact you forgot my order untill I phoned back at 9:20

Posted their menu through our door and they don't even deliver to our address. Waste of time

Placed online order for delivery at 7.30pm; food was delivered at 6.50pm before guests had even arrived. Whilst takeaway offered to collect and redeliver, I am unsure it would have been fresh. Terrible customer service and food not good enough to make me want to use this place again. That said, make up your own minds.

Food is 1st class, Tao Tao is the best takeaway around coleshill. If I had to give a negative, it would be that sometimes the food could arrive a little hotter.

Absolute awful customer service,been ordering the same for months and this week they get it wrong and blame me.so rude on the phone when I questioned them.

All I can say is very rude lady who takes the orders, cannot give you a second to order. Rudest woman on earth trust me avoid like the plague cold food cheap ingredients

Thought we would try a new chinese tonight and as we live in Coleshill we thought best to support local, and thank god we did! Food arrived right on time, all piping hot and the flavours were amazing. We actually preferred it to our usual Chinese takeaway place so will definitely be ordering again and again and again!!! 100% recommended xxxx

Singapore chow mein was bland, ribs dry, chicken in orange sauce was gloopy and lacking in orange flavour,went in bin, the prawn crackers were lovely. counter staff attitude was rude, only concerned with paying and getting out of shop till food ready. Not a patch on rice bowl or golden bird, won't use again.

We placed an order with Tao Tao and it won't happen again. I had to reheat it, the chow mein was stodgy rice heavy, chips cold and the shrimp curry was ok... Delivery was too quick as it doesn't open till 5.pm and our delivery was approx 5.20 ? I think this was yesterdays food... Don't order from this company.

Avoid this place, it is terrible, delivery took 2 hours then the order had items missing, took another 3 quarters of an hour to send the missing items, they just want your money, they have no interest in quality or resolving any issues, just a bunch of cowboys - avoid unless you want problems, I feel like they robbed me of £30, I will never eat or order from there again. Far better out there offering the same thing,

Just had the Thai Style King Prawns with Soft Fried Noodles and was by far the best Chinese I've had in a very long time. The Noodles were perfect n the Thai Style King Prawn was absolutely delicious. I would fully recommend these guys to anyone 100%

Very poor customer service. After collecting my order got home and had 2x chilli chicken instead of chilli chips. Had charged me for the chicken instead of chips phoned them and explained their error. No reasoning with them telling me I had ordered chicken? I think I know the difference wouldn't offer to correct this said I could go back and collect chips but they will charge extra. They should have just swapped them and refunded me the difference so my order was alot more expensive than it should have been. WILL NOT BE USING THIS CHINESE AGAIN!!! The lady taking the orders attitude stinks!

First and last time I order from this place. Horrible microwave food just heated up which tastes exactly the same as heron foods frozen Chinese meals for £1 and probably are the same. Avoid at all cost.

I ordered chicken curry and it's the best chicken I've seen in a curry better than any I've tried in Devon, my mother said her special fried rice wasn't very good and the meat was chewy, and everyone else said there meal was ok

First and last time ordering from this place!! Food was absolutely vile! Chow meins all you could taste was salt!!! Beef curry's all you could chew was fatty beef. Absolutely disgusting don't know how you could serve the food from there

This is the first time I have used this restaurant since it was reopened under new owners. I was greeted on the phone by a very sunny girl.I opted for the food to be delivered. It arrived within 15 minutes and the food was delicious.Highly recommended.

Would not allow my pregnant partner to have her own prescribed drink on the premises, we explained that due to the difficulties with the pregnancy she cannot drink anything else. We left in the end, terrible understanding.
