Mi esposo y yo visitamos Glasgow el año pasado, y nos topamos con una rabieta. Habíamos llegado justo al abrir, y el cajero era muy amable, y todas las rosquillas parecían increíbles. Me decanté por una rosquilla de crema y estaba absolutamente deliciosa. Si estás cerca de una rabieta, ¡haz que sea prioritario ir temprano para que puedas tener los primeros baños!

I've been here many times and the doughnuts never disappoint. There were some new recipes, so friends and I decided to visit. The Creme Brûlée, although not a new recipe, always hits the mark. The Cheery Bakewell is a new recipe and it's absolutely delicious.

My recent trip to Tantrum left me questioning whether I had stumbled into the right place at all. My past visit had been pleasant, but this time around, the doughnuts were anything but. The Salted Caramel doughnut was an exercise in saltiness that eclipsed all other flavours. In fact, I'd dare say that there's more salt packed into this dessert than you'd find in the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine. It was a flavour that not only overwhelmed my taste buds but left me wondering if I had unwittingly taken a dip in the Dead Sea. The Oreo doughnut was a dry and arid affair that made it a challenge to reach the finish line. It was like attempting to swallow a desert in doughnut form, and I found myself longing for a drink to wash it down. I can't even remember what the third doughnut was, but what I do remember is a consistent theme throughout all three: An unwelcome density and stodginess lingered in every bite, making for a culinary experience that left much to be desired. I would recommend exploring any alternative dessert shop or bakery, even if it means opting for a week old, discounted, multipack Tesco doughnut. At least in that scenario, you'd be indulging in dense mediocrity at a fraction of the cost. Finally, Tantrum's refusal to accept cash took me by surprise. It seems the convenience of their payment methods isn't matched by the quality of their doughnuts. In conclusion, my recent trip to Tantrum was a far cry from the pleasant experience I remembered last time I visited. The dense, overly salty, and dry doughnuts I had left much to be desired.

Genuinely the best donut I’ve ever had. I went for the peaches and cream and the flavours just complemented each other so perfectly ! Perfectly sweet and the donut itself was clearly homemade. Phenomenal!!!! Staff were lovely as well , very patient as I was quite indecisive!! Super chatty as well ! Absolutely worth a visit !

Great place when in the mood for something sweet and indulgent at whatever time of day! Lovely place and pleasant staff. Nice atmosphere when sitting in. Small space inside but comfy. So much choice but we prefer the simple jam donuts and the milk and cookies donut ring, both delicious. Always taste fresh. Would recommend.

My friend and I came to Glasgow for a weekend. When searching for what do whilst there, I got up google maps and Tantrum Doughnuts, Old Dumbarton Rd popped up. We decided that this would be our first stop on our holiday and my goodness, it set the standard for the rest of our trip. The staff were friendly and enjoyed our excitement of choosing our box of 6. We took them to the steps of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and ate most of them. We both agreed they are the best doughnuts we’ve had in our life!! The Pistachio and Hibiscus was a winner and the surprising difference of the vegan hazelnut, had us both exclaiming ‘oh my god!!’ We were surprised and thrilled to find they also have a central shop on Gordon Street as well and we got more doughnuts on our second day also 😊

We were recommended to try here and boy, am I glad we did. Many, many fabulous looking donuts, so hard to choose. We went for pistachio and herbiscis, vanilla glaze and almond butter creme.
