¡Comida deliciosa!

I was craving for some noodles and I found Tang's that is near to my job place. Fresh ingredients, cheap prices and nice staff. It will be one of my options during lunch time.

I didn’t feel guilty eating with my vegetarian friends as they had plenty of choice. Interesting drinks menu

I'll start by saying that the main reason I came here was to try their steam buns. I was with a friend and thought we'd try a portion of the chicken and the beef buns. To my surprise we were told that a portion consisted of just ONE bun for £4.50, so for 2 buns, it totalled £9. I was expecting something amazing for that price, but it was very mediocre with the bun not tasting freshly made. It cost the same price for 2 buns as it did for my main, which was the chicken Tang, and my friend opted for the chicken curry Tang. I must say, the main was really good, I also tried the curry one, which was full of flavour and slightly spicy. Mine was also full of flavour with a lot of chicken and veg and tasty broth. I think if I go again, I'll just go straight to the mains. I might try the prawn Tang next time though. Oh, and they're doing that thing where they don't serve branded drinks, and instead sell locally sourced drinks for £2.50 a can.

While staying at the St Giles we chose this place for a light evening meal before my daughter met friends in London. We weren't disappointed. The food - oriental with a twist - was freshly prepared and well presented. Service was excellent from the two friendly guys at the bar/kitchen. I even discovered a new beer (well new to me anyway!) - Chelsea Blonde - try it, you'll thank me!

Friendliest staff, excellent food at a reasonable price. It is worth seeking out this establishment for an excellent, quick meal. They also have great beer. Highly recommended.

Overall our experience was a good one in terms of food quality, taste, and service, but left feeling it was not good value for money. We came here because the food was Halal and it was a rare treat to try some 'Bao's' which we could eat. Please note that only one item on the menu is not Halal and that is the Prawn soup (it has a Pork broth.) We ordered 3 of each Bao: 2x Beef 2x Fried Chicken 2x Tofu We also ordered Organic Cola and Organic Lemonade. Total cost = £31! Now the problem was the portion sizes of the Baos: I could finish one Bao in 3 or 4 bites. The Beef Bao was delicious and the meat was very tender! Really good. The Fried Chicken Bao was also tasty and had a tasty Chilli Sauce. The Fried Tofu piece was ok but a bit bland for our liking and the sauce was not so good. The drinks were average (out of cans) and a healthier alternative to the traditonal Cocal Cola and Lemonade out there, however, still a high sugar content per can so be careful not to fall for the "healthier Organic" nonsense. If the portion sizes were bigger; we would be back sooner.

I expected a really flavourful umami sensation having not eaten for 24 hours due to having been a bit off my food. I am afraid to say, although it all looked great, it was decidedly bland. At £10 for the prawn dish, I expected much, much more in terms of value for money and flavour. The little Fair Trade can of cola I was sold alongside, however, ought to replace the stuff made by the major player as it was damned good. I will go again at some point just to see if I was wrong.

This place is truly a gem (in a sea of awful chains and unappetising options). Inexpensive, absolutely fresh, amazingly delicious noodles and dishes. Charming friendly staff. What a great hole-in-the-wall find - we'll be back!

Firstly as I was alone on a work trip, it was good to find somewhere that a woman could sit on her own and feel comfortable and welcome. I had prawn tang, which was delicious. The broth it was based on had really deep flavour and it was good and filling. Can definitely recommend!

Popped in here a few days ago for a quick bite to eat before heading to the Dominion Theatre for a show. Good quality was outstanding. Menu is small, but perfectly formed - I always think it's the sign of a great place when they do a few things brilliantly, and this really hit the spot. I had the beef and rice, my wife had the Chicken Tang. Both were fantastic. Staff were super friendly and willing to chat and talk about the menu. Home made chilli paste/sauce on every table was a winner. Good selection of craft beers. It's got about 10 tables and service is quick so perfect spot to pop in for a filling, but light, bite. We also saw they offer takeaway, and if I worked nearby I'd grab something from there every lunch time. All in all, a brilliant find and very highly recommended. Will definitely go again.

I had to stop eating so I could write a good review. This came up as 18th on the list and I went anyway because I'm a sucker for a good ramen. AND IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT WOW I am onto the chicken curry tang and will probably be coming back here weekly from now on. The richness and the spice of the broth is perfect, the combination and presentation is delectable and right now they are playing shackles by Mary Mary. The rest will have to wait until I have completed this ramen because I truly sincerely do not want to ever stop. YUM

It's been a while since I last visited but I won't be leaving it so long for the next one. My spicy Prawn Tang, along with the Black & White tofu dish was an absolute treat on a rainy London night. My friend really enjoyed her salted Veg & Tofu Tang, which I tried & was blown away by it's depth of flavour. This place has a great vibe & lovely, friendly service. It's kinda like visiting friends. Keep it up - Pip x

Staff and food are great overall , but Veggie curries aubergine and the jackfruit are mostly sauce! Plus We were told we had to leave after 1 & 1/2 hours Surely 2 hours minimum for a meal.. otherwise ot feels like a conveyor belt. Come on Hoppers you are making enough money, always busy ! Stop being greedy!

It was wonderful, the staff were friendly- we speak Mandarin. We ordered a few of their signature dishes, which were the beef noodles, the seaweed salad, and the chow mein. The beef noodles were literally chef’s kiss, the texture and the density of the noodles was perfect- chewy, slim, and delicious. The beef was a bit on the chewier side, though, I wouldn’t recommend elderly people or babies eating this, to prevent choking. Next was the seaweed salad, it was so good! We eat this often at home back in China, so it was a burst of flavour, plus a flashback, flying me back to China. The Chow Mein was so delicious and flavourful, the noodles were a little different than the beef noodles- chewy, big, and wonderfully salty. They had a lot of veggies and onions though- so it had a huge effect on the taste. Overall, it was very nice and we would go there again.
