Best Indian restaurant in tamworth , food always done to perfection and always hot on arrival

Felt the need to post a review as food was that good. First time ordering called up for a beef curry asked to add vegetables mushrooms and peppers. Turned out to be the best curry I've ever had. Never had beef so tender don't even have to chew it just melts in your mouth! Well worth the price!

food was wonderfull full of flavour

Had takeaway. Chicken Korma, lamb sagwala, pilau rice, naan and poppadoms. It was delivered exactly on time, was steaming hot and absolutely lovely. Thank you for the great food, will be ordering again.

Called in whilst in the are on business, there was four of us in our group and we all rated the food highly. The portion sizes are great and very flavorful. The keema and cheese naan was one of the nicest I've had whilst travelling around. Owner was friendly and the meal was reasonably priced. Would be very happy to return when I'm next in the area

food was lovely , delivery driver was really friendly ,polite and apologetic...customer service on the phone when ringing to find out where my order was (twice) however was awful . the app stated that my food had been delivered, which it hadn't didn't ask for order number or anything just kept saying will be there soon ! placed order at 7.07 pm expected 8-8.20 delivered 9pm not sure I'll be ordering again in a hurry if at all

They served me chicken with colored rice and called it biryani.

Probably worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t order again. Food was dry, to the point couldn’t swallow it. Sauce was missing, cheese was missing, donner kebab looked like come out of a fryer and was rock hard. Chicken pakora was a joke just undercooked batter. Chips were diabolical. Don’t bother

A glorified takeaway, not a restaurant.run by school kids with joggers and sweaters with no waiting skills whatsoever, and to top it off , very over priced with the itemised bill presented on a piece of cardboard,Far better proper Indian restaurants in Tamworth which are correctly priced and are legitimate restaurants. We won’t be back !

I have ordered from Tamworth Spice now three times. The first was for myself and elderly parents, used to ordering from their favourite Chinese Takeaway. I persuaded them to try something different, and turned their palette to Indian. My parents absolutely loved their meals, devouring bloody lot! Tamworth Spice has brought the same delights expected from Birmingham's famous curry strip 'Ladypool Road'. Well done guys!!

shashlik was very dry and no flavour, lamb shatkora was disappointing.. poppadoms however were fresh and crispy

First Indian takeaway in Tamworth, chicken tikka jalfrezi, think it came from a jar, been eating Indian food 40 plus years, this isn’t pro cooked! no fresh green chillies, chicken over cooked, nice paratha, wont be reusing

I'm sorry to say this was a disappointing meal. I couldn't eat the lamb saag paneer - had a funny taste to it & very fatty lamb. Rice & naan tasteless. All just seemed a bit 'off'. The delivery driver was polite & friendly, thank you.

Curries tasted like soil and naan was hard

Driver got lost, had to drive out to find him, as a result food was cold. Although onion bhajis were very tasty (if somewhat cool)

parts of my order was missing, but what did actually turn up was all thrown together in a bag not a BOX which was not what it said on the menu. it's a sloppy 1/10 and I can honestly say I will never order from here again

Nice enough food and an okay delivery time, I just can’t give full marks because it certainly wasn’t vindaloo strength (as requested) and if I had required delivery for a special occasion, then it wouldn’t have arrived in time.

Food was cold. Notification on just eat said it was 'on its way' for ages. I suspect the chicken in the dishes had been added to them straight from the fridge as it was stone cold in the middle. Chips were stone cold. Naan bread had unmelted cheese on them. All items in the tandoori mixed grill were cold. The meat and cheese samosa was literally just a samosa with unmelted cheese sprinkled on top. Shocking. Really poor all round.

I found this restaurant via the Gourmet Society app, giving 25% off the total bill. I ordered lamb bhuna, pilau rice and garlic naan as in my photo. Everything tasted good, especially the bhuna. It was packed with tender pieces of lamb. Recommended.

Not happy food was cold. It left the resturant and didn't arrive for 20 minutes....

Long wait time to start with, but reviews looked ok so thought id try and then even late after that, very bland food,jalfrezi curry just rammed with onion and next to no meat and extremley bland, didnt resemble a jalfrezi at all, garlic rice was poor, wont be using again im afraid.

Food was delivered late as we wait an extra 15 minutes - food was nice, a few minutes later the driver returned to the house with more food to apologise for the delay on our order - we really appreciated this as they did not need to do this , thank you taking the extra mile to rectify the situation

Quite possibly the worst take away Ive had the misfortune to have in a long while. The onion bhajis were soggy balls of mush, not crispy and barely edible. The shish kebabs tasted of nothing but a huge amount of salt and were cold. The two mains we ordered - Butter Chicken and Chicken Rogan Josh, well, we could barely tell the difference and were overly greasy and tasteless. The Naan bread was thin to the point of being transparent. I won't be ordering from this place ever again. 0/10

Even though it was late and an error was made they sorted this out very quickly. And the food was delicious was worth the wait ! Driver was lovely and apologized for being late but they were busy ! Best to be busy and means the food must be good and it was ! Thank you all will order again Beats any other ones we have ordered !

Naan bread was cold and the 2 tubs of mint yoghurt had spilt over everything. Apart from that the food tasted good.
