It’s nice for lunch but not as good as I remember from a few years ago. The main meals didn’t seem that tasty. It’s expensive for a casual lunch and not great value for money. For example, rice is an additional cost to the main meal and about £4. The service is great though the staff are so lovely.

I was there an hour ago,food was great Bailey is the best and alex is just amazing.

We were greeted by a lovely lady with blonde hair, very well dressed and such a cracking sense of humour! She asked us if we wanted drinks and then we met our server. Now even though we had our own server, she seemed to be a manager who then also came to have a laugh with! Now I’ve eaten out at many different places and you don’t always get that with restaurants. We noticed that even though it was very busy, she was in control of the place, head honcho I expect! It was a delight to come to Tampopo, In the words of Arnie, I’ll be back!!

Always great food at Tampopo and today's server Shell was really friendly and attentive. All the staff there are amazing and this is one of the reason we return time after time. We have never had a bad meal or experience and would highly recommend it.

Sharing a bustling busy food court space its not always easy to find a seat in Trafford but the food at East Street is served fast! Katsu is to die for at very good prices; but other meals such as the Thai Green Chicken is underwhelming in portion size with only 3 pieces of chicken to a bowl! Drinks selection is great even if pricey. Worth a stop!

I love the satay chicken burger and their other burgers here, the fries are really tasty too, and unique. Just got my satay burger again and it's just as good as usual. The guy at the till, Bailey, was really friendly, so great service too.

Good service from Bailey but quality of food has gone down since my last visit. Chicken katsu curry no longer has any vegetables in it, just sauce, rice and a chicken cutlet.

Overpriced and bland food. The salt and pepper loaded fries were a bunch of fries in a paper bag with spices. The chicken chowmein was a decent portion but bland and beige.

We came tampopo Trafford today for lunch and were served by the lovely Elise. She was absolutely brilliant, talked us through the menu, gave us recommendations and made our dining experience smooth and she was so attentive. The food was lovely and we had a great experience!

From the minute we walked in we had Fantastic service, the food was beautiful. Our waitress Shell was so helpful & friendly, she deserves a weekend off. Thank you we will definitely be back next time we're in the UK.

My daughter and i have always loved the pas thai from East street but today it was awful, only 2 pieces of chicken and tge rest was very dry noodles with spring onions. Wont eat there agsin.

Really good atmosphere and food was delicious. The food came quick we wasn’t waiting very long after ordering. Our waitress Emily was very accommodating to the fussy eaters in our party and was very thorough explaining the menu to us . Also Elise who showed us to our table was very pleasant and friendly, checking in to ensure we were happy with our meals. Will definitely be back soon.

We visited after a long, tiring day trawling around the Trafford Centre. Mum, Dad and 3 teenage kids. A great welcome on arrival by Maisy who looked after us. The menu was explained to us, and after ordering, the food was presented in food time, and was really fresh and good. I especially recommend the spicy Thai stir fry dish. Can't remember the name, but if you see the menu you'll spot it. Decent value for money. Absolutely we will be back.

I came as a single person I got seated within minutes my drink was on the table a few minutes later and 10 mins later food was on table ready… what can I say the timing was impeccable 👌

Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and we were seated within 5 minutes. The food was delicious and fresh. Our server Mei was wonderful, very friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. I would definitely return and recommend.
