Was looking forward to a curry given all the positive reviews but was pretty disappointed when it arrived. Our four very different dishes looked and tasted extremely similar and lacked any kick

The best Indian and takeaway we’ve been to in ages! We ordered a very large order last minute, and they were very accommodating and quick given it was mid way through a Saturday night with no notice. The food was also delicious and hot when delivered! It was also great value for money :) Couldn’t ask for more, thank you!

Probably one of the best takeaways I’ve ever had! The food is fresh, super tasty and the owners are so lovely! Everything is made there and then, so they are extremely accommodating of any amendments requested. This now our go to Indian and never disappoints! 100% recommend.

Asked for a lamb saag witch I got and was not very nice tasted like they just added spinach to a medium curry 🍛 so the spinach tasted like it hadn't been cooked. . I also orderd a pishwari naan (sweet Nan) which was the best I've ever had and i have had a lot which made me think 🤔 maby the saag was just rushed.. Not unforgivable I will try again.

Delicious food, very friendly staff what more do you expect! Keema nan, chicken daniya you name it... always prepared with 100% effort and never lets me down. Definitely recommend it!

I enjoyed a very tasty meal here and the two brothers who own it were friendly and courteous, very lovely people indeed, I described what I like to taste to the Chef and a new dish on the menu named “Aydin” was recommended for me and my goodness it delivered, the tastiest dish I have in a long time, I would describe it simply as a taste sensation, it was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection and I enjoyed it along with perfectly cooked pilau rice and a Peshwari naan and a very well made lovely glass of mango lassi. The eating area was clean and bright and the floor shone, I look forward very much to returning to this establishment and ordering the “Aydin” dish again, I really do have a taste for it. Well done, Ashiana!

The food is delicious, fresh and tasty, with very welcoming staff. This reasonably priced takeaway restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and has been recently refurbished to.a high standard. There is a great variety of dishes available including vegetarian and vegan options, and the naan breads and rotis are amazing. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

Good value take away. Tasty food. Marked as 2 chillis wasn't too hot at all! We collected it and it was ready promptly. Had 2 mains, a Naan and pilau rice for £14.

The best indian I have ever tasted for miles! Despite moving to a different city I remain committed to travelling back just for the food! The curries and meat are cooked to perfection and the nan bread is fluffy. The staff are extremely kind and helpful and remain committed to providing the best customer service; a vast range of meat and veg options available and definitely worth paying a visit to if you're in the area.

So disappointed with the food. We really wanted to love it as the staff were really friendly and nice. I was worried when I heard our pakoras and onion bhaji going in the microwave. They were awful. The chicken was a dark brown colour and had an awful smell I had to spit it out. The bhaji was just like the shop bought ones. Dry, barely any onion and just solid in the middle almost pasty, like uncooked flour. The curry was really bland and didn’t have any flavour.l there was plenty of the chicken though. Rice was ok not terrible not great. The naan bread I’m not sure was home made, it tasted like the ones you get from Asda. The gulab jamun was ok, my first time trying so I have nothing to compare. It was sweet and different. I really wanted to like the rest of then food but it wasn’t great.

If I could put less than one star I would, hands down the worst Indian I’ve ever had. Never seen or tasted anything so bad, ruined my day.

It’s a real shame I can’t rate this lower than 1/5. Hands down the worst Indian I’ve ever eaten, when I say eaten I mean tasted before throwing in the bin. If I was starving to death I still wouldn’t eat it.

Just the best Indian takeaway of my LIFE. Lived 2 mins from this place without noticing it for a year, and felt robbed when I discovered how great it is. Fresh produce, vibrant flavours, authentic and discernible spicing on each dish, fluffy rice, deliciously charred breads, crisp salad and mouth watering grilled meats. To boot, the staff are lovely and friendly. Go ahead and order from here and if you can, drop in to say thanks 🙌🏼

We were looking for a place to have a Curry on our UK Adventure while travelling through Manchester, saw the reviews and thought we’d give Ashiana a crack. Just about the best decision we have made on a Restaurant in our 3 weeks in the Uk so far The gentleman behind the counter could not have been more helpful. We followed his suggestions and we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Japuira, Rice, Samosa Ana Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely delicious you couldn’t ask for a better meal, service or value for money. It would be great if they opened one in Melbourne so we didn’t have to come all the way to the UK to find it

The doner kebab is ridiculously good

Got a takeaway delivered from here last night. The menu offers many more exciting options than the average Indian takeaway and the food didn't disappoint. Particular highlights were the Spinach Paneer and Veggie Korma, which tasted fresh and nutty (not just overly sweet, fatty and mainly sauce like many we've had). The breads and dips were also super tasty. We live in Castlefield and the food is much better quality than any Indian takeaway we've had from in town. The service over the phone and from the driver was also really friendly. Really good value. Will definitely be ordering again.

Beautiful food. Had the Lamb Arachi - really tender meat, well spiced and delicious sauce. Mixed grill was really tender and moist too which is hard to find at a takeaway. Would highly recommend.

I visit Ashiana quite regularly and every single time I am stunned by the flavours. I rarely speak so positively about food. It is by far the best curry out there, so many flavour options available, fantastic staff who can always help with new discoveries, I've tasted countless never types of food and will be coming back forever. Besides currys they've got delicious kebabs and many starters. You simply have to try this heavenly food. Couldn't recommend more.

Recently I spotted a cockroach inside the restaurant. The owner, Mr Bukhari, chased after it, killed it and then denied it was a cockroach. It was 100% a cockroach. After speaking to the local council, it turns out this restaurant and the row of buildings it's a part of has had multiple run-ins with pests in the past. Everything from cockroaches to mice. Along with this 1 star review, they also have a 1 star hygiene rating, presumedly from being unwilling to resolve their on-going pest control issues. The local council can easily verify these claims. It's no wonder there's reports of people becoming unwell after eating here.

I used to come here when they first started out many moons ago. I went back after so many years and it was nice to see that he has really established himself now. Well done to him. I ordered 3 curries and all were cooked to perfection (as if i had any doubts)..... Would i recomrnd? ABSOLUTELY!!

Ordered from here through their website expecting great things - instead had to spend my New Year in bed throwing up. Check the food standards website before ordering - they scored ONE OUT OF FIVE! It certainly shows as their rancid curry made me very ill. Avoid!!!

Been coming here since 1984 - great food

Just had a portion of veg samosa and the Adrakh and Naan bread. Adrakh is a ginger based dish. Unfortunately I was expecting something good from the reviews but the Adrakh was way too oily and for something that costs £8.50 I would expect the lamb to be far more tender. The samosas were the worst I'd eaten in a long while. Too oily as well as a very strange taste to them as if cooked in some overused oil. Could not finish. Gutted because the staff are nice but I'm afraid I won't be back.

Been here a handful of times now and it’s just wonderful. Delicious food and the staff are so friendly. It’s quickly becoming my favourite place to eat in Manchester.

We ordered a few vegan side dishes and some breads and enjoyed them we are looking forward to trying some more of the vegan curries. They said they can use soya milk too and want to cater for vegans. It wasn't full of oil like a lot of take aways usually are. The man who served us who Im assuming is the owner is so lovely. He has such a nice energy about him. He shared how he would like his take away packaging to be more environmentally friendly. I definitely support that. thank you .

What can this I say about this place place? I first popped in here, 27 years ago, when I was 16, I still go in to this day. Fresh tasting food bursting with flavour. Simply the best Indian takeaway, anywhere.

Lovely staff, lovely food. Fresh, authentic and so tasty. Full of flavour and spice. They clearly really care about their food and providing a great meal. The Fish Pakora was absolutely lovely, truly fantastic, and mixed grill was really really good, fantastic bread too. The best Seek we’ve had in a very long time. So so lucky (but dangerous!!) we’ve got this on our doorstep! We will be back ASAP!

Lovely food, great service. Run by two brothers who seem to really care about the food they make. I've been going here for well over 14 years and it never disappoints. I usually have the Chicken Daniya, which is delicious. Loads of fresh herbs and spices and you can really taste every ingredient! Highly recommended.

Todos eran fresca, sabrosa, no demasiado picante, y ausente de la marea negra que te dan en los establecimientos de menor calidad. El servicio era magnífico - nuestro pan faltaba cuando la entrega llegó, pero una llamada rápida y el conductor fue en diez minutos o así con un pan caliente. Muy bueno, sin duda pedir desde Ashiana de nuevo.

No sé porqué no pedimos desde aquí antes, este es el mejor curry que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. El curry son ricos y sabrosos y usted puede probar la singularidad de la comida que ofrece degustación de bondad que caseros que es difícil de encontrar. El peshawri naan era muy hermoso con semillas de sésamo, cerezas y Pasas sultaninas . - nada como he tratado en otro lugar. Definitivamente puedes probar el uso de ingredientes de alta calidad. Por favor comer aquí, no te decepcionará!

The best curry in whole Greater Manchester! And I bloody mean it! Friendly staff and absolutely excellent and tasty FRESH curries! Have to mention great nan bread too. We have tried many places, but we stick with this place for few years now and have never been disappointed! As we don't live locally anymore, we still go to Ashiana whenever we feel for nice curry. Driving 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back is perfect proof to show how tasty and worthy their food is!

You will not get better Indian than this. The Lamb Daniya is beautiful. Really friendly place too.

The best Indian I have had. Just came back from New York last week and went to one of the top Indians they have, very high on the foodie's lists but it just made me want one of these Ashiana's instead. They have excellent staff and I regularly bring friends into the restaurant/takeaway to describe what they like and the staff will pick the perfect dish or even make something not on the menu to suit. A few people I have done this with have had to scoure where they are from to find anything close to as good. They are a dream for allergy needs as they know every last ingredient they have used to make the food (not factory outsourced like others). Their peshwari is special, not just a naan stuffed with sugary jam like others and is made when you order. The delivery person is also very nice and part of the business so the great service comes all the way to your front door. A trip to the restaurant/takeaway is well worth it though as you can talk directly to the chef and he will help you find your favourite dish.

The food here is beyond comaprison. After hunting around Manchester, Dublin and New York I have failed to find a place that treats their customers as well as the guys at Ashiana do. They are always happy to have a chat and figure out what sort of dish would tickle your fancy on the day, rest assured that dish will then be freshly cooked, delicious and delivered with a smile.

Hands down best curry takeaway in Manchester and I've eaten in so many it's difficult to count. Really nice lads who are still enthusiastic and serious about their food after almost 35 years running. Very very satisfying and never feel bloate afterwards. Authentic and healthy tasting curry. No need to look further just try them.

Si se trata de un bocado sabroso o una comida india, este es el lugar para ir por la frescura y variedad. Ojalá viviese más cerca!

I have gotten from these guys on a number of occassions and never have I been disappointed. The price is worth paying for the food (which was brilliant). A special mention has to go to the Chicken Biryani they make, it was delicious. The staff is friendly too. Would recommend it everyone.

I used to live near here and could always rely on Ashiana for a tasty curry. Went through a vegan phase and you can request vegan curries without ghee. The curries are tasty and they sometimes have specials on which arent on the normal menu. Very authentic Indian food.

Que hacer entrega de más de £10, y la comida está bastante bien para lo que te dan. Pedí un menú para 1 una vez y había más comida de la que yo podría comer!

Amazing food! Better than any curries I have tried on the 'Curry mile'. The staff are very helpful and friendly and you can even drink coffee while you wait! Would definately recommend you visit and try out the delicious authentic food!!

A takeaway that likes good cooking. Really good food, friendly people, good service, good prices. Took an hour to deliver on a Saturday night but they told us that and were on time. Their curries are really good, you can see and taste the different ingredients in them. It all tasted fresh and the chicken was really nicely cooked. Nice one Ashiana. Don't worry about the chilli ratings in the menu, I had the Karahi (3chillies) and it was only gently warming, as I'd hoped. I'll be calling again soon.

As a lover of Asian food and having eaten all over the UK, this is definitely one of the best. Friendly , food is brilliant and well priced. And a display fridge full of starter goodies. Excellent stuff showing up all the crap and expensive takeaways countrywide .

The best takeaway/restaurant I've been as I have coming here for a number of years. The service and quality of food was excellent. The curries were fresh and cooked in front of us, I've been to India and some of the meals there and are not as tasty as those served at the Ashiana. I strongly recommend the chefs specials not to mention the wide selection mouth watering vegetarian dishes.

I have been to a fair share of takeaways, and definately have to say this is the best by far. I have been a regular customer for years and each curry tastes just as good as the last...possibly even better. Great service and value for money and the staff are really friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more!

This curry house does lovely curries BUT we have found human black long hair twice now, two times too much in this day and age. There standards have slipped and it was evident they were not wearing hair nets or protection when cooking. When approached about it, no refund was offered, shocking. We will never be back
