Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for the food to arrive after they said it would be delivered within 45 minutes was not happy at all!!!!

Ate here yesterday. Good portion sizes, the Chilli salt ribs were very nice. Not the best I have had but solid would eat from here again

Chicken was slimy. Disgusting. Egg fried rice, nothing like egg fried rice, dry and tasteless. Prawn crackers greasy and had strange taste to them. Beef didn't taste anything like beef.

Awful, ordered food at 9:07pm food didn’t arrive until gone 11, rang and checked were food was at 10 and they said it was on the way, food arrived was STONE COLD , rang and got told nothing we can do, and manager doesn’t speak English. Never mind the delievery driver was sent with mutiple orders

Just had a chicken omelette which was dry. Chips like cardboard. Beef n mushroom which was grisly, fatty and slimy. Rice was stuck together. £19.80 Awful, first time and last time.

What a terrible service placed a order for chicken, chips, curry sauce and can of drink paid £13 and when we got the order only chicken in the bag, I rang the shop to be told I was a liar and all the order was in the bag, the phone handler was so rude, when I asked to speak to management she said no management was there and put the phone down on me. so my advice is if you place a order check you bags before handing money over as you'll get ripped off, I think we'll stick with Willow House in Sherwood from now, lesson learned to never use this takeaway again

Ordered at 7.30 didn't arrive till gone 9 message to cancel order and still arrive with the food I used to love tammys since new owner gone right now hill food is poor now won't be ordering again

One of the best in the area. Although the Chicken with honey and black bean sauce wasn't as good this time.

I don’t know if they have new chef , but the food has gone totally down hill, no flavour the chow mein tasted disgusting noodles was so over cooked and tasted stale. The salt and pepper chicken was horrid small portion and no dept of flavour. The best thing was the spring roll which was nice. Definitely won’t be eating here again.

this was the WORST food I have ever eaten in my life, the ribs was dry the chips was cold in the middle, the winds I didn’t even dare try they looked that awful when I called up to see if there was anything we could do the lady on the phone was rude saying that there wasn’t anything that she could do about it and when I ask to speak to someone higher she told me that’s not possible as she was the only person who would be able to understand me, she then proceeded to end the phone when I called back up the only way we would be able to get fresh food would be to go all the way to the shop witch wasn’t possible disgusting and wiv the cost off living the price off things isn’t cheep, especially when it’s a treat for your and your family

Rang again at 8.30 as it’s not arrived to again be told it’s on its way still didn’t arrive!!! will never order from Tammys again the staff on the phone also rude!

Poor communication, placed an order online at 18.33 said an hour delivery wait. Waited 3 hours and still hadn’t received, phoned 4 times for them to say it was on its way. Then got a phone call at 9.23pm saying that my order didn’t go through and they didn’t have the receipt so they was going to start cooking now, 3 hours after we placed our order. We asked for a refund, and now gone without food. It’s shocking when it’s an £41 order and they kept saying it was on its way. Never had a problem with them before but after tonight we definitely won’t be using them again. Poor communication from the guy on the phone and shocking customer service.

I got the munch box normally nothing wrong with it but this time it taste different tasted like it had been sat in oil for to long and I also started being sick the day after wirh really bad belly pains

chicken curry & tammy’s special chowmein. The meat was coated in slime - absolutely disgusting ended up in the bin. Waste of £25. Don’t waste your money here. Only decent thing out of the two meals was the onions. When I called to complain was told this is how they always do their dishes and never had a complaint, from reading the reviews I think otherwise! Vile

Where do I start half way through my king prawn curry I smelt mould 20 mins later I'm throwing up bad tummy cramps never happened before with seafood 😫 the rest off my meal was fine but won't be ordering king prawn curry again

Ordered food ask for no prawns in the chow main. As wife has allergy. Got home prawns in the chow main .realised after i put all food on the plate Rings up heard the guy ask the lad who took the order if he remembers. Could hear him say can’t remember. Then says I didn’t say anything about prawns. Whole diner is ruined. Then he said you can have a free chow main next time with no prawns. Never again will I go to TAMMYS. One job

If you like your salt and pepper this place is for you! The Munch Box is value for money and also so nice however other dishes let them down slightly and they lack flavour maybe on the next visit that might change. Lovely family business will be back again

Greasy, hard batter. Not coming again

Can't really say a lot about Tammy's food. You get what you pay for. I normally order one of their boxes filled with a tonne of chips, over fried chicken pieces, egg fried rice and deep fried spring rolls. I have to admit everything has the same taste as if all was cooked/fried in the same oil and I do not like that at all. If you're wanting a gap filler then yeah a Tammy box might just do it at £10 something. But you can alter some of the contents requesting either more or less of it. I requested more rice and far less chips but was refused so. Choose wisely hence the reason I don't order from them very often it is fast food after all.

This restaurant is by far the best. I eat here a lot and I really their food everytime. Trust me I’m good with my fast food! ,,,,,,,,,,,as a part of a “balanced diet” of course ! 🤣 I must say their satay sauce in my opinion, must be award winning as it is just amazing. You must try here. If you’re in any doubt have the children in satay sauce. 🤤🤤🤤

Visiting Nottingham for the day decided to order a Chinese delivery from Tammy's as it was close by. Pre ordered for 6.30pm. arrived exactly on time. Friendly driver. Food was lovely and hot, freshly made and delicious!!! Portion size was huge! Couldn't fault it. Will definitely make it our choice of food next time we're in Notts.

First and last time I’ll use this place. The food was overpriced. I spent £34 the meal was very disappointing. Some of this food had obviously been reheated as it it was dry. I won’t be using this shop again.

Just rang and ordered a 3 in one with plain noodles sauce and rice, my order was accepted on the phone and told me it was £4.80. I then went to collect my order and they had done it wrong so I had to wait longer, they then put veg into it when I specifically asked for it without, however they had already started cooking it. I then got home and had noodles veg sauce and chips... I rang and was told that there was nothing they could do because they don’t do what I was told I could have! Absolutely joke.

The food is good. Today I ordered my delivery for 20-30. I ordered it at 17-50.it is now 20-50 and it has not arrived. I understand the wait when you ring and say delivery ASAP but not when you order it over 2 hours in advance. Not even an apology or something extra for the long wait.

Very good Chinese restaurant. There are not only western food, but also delicious Chinese food. The clean and tasty open kitchen, with affordable price and very fresh food, has brought a lot of convenience to my life.

Order from here at least once a week if not more, family of 6 so normally costs around £50, ordered last night asked if it was OK to pay by card as sometimes their machine is broken. Lady said yes proceeded with order it came to £47, she said iam going to have to ask if you can pay with card, came back on the phone and she said no the chef said for big orders now we are only taking cash payments. I was shocked and proceeded to tell her I always pay by card and didn't have the cash on me and didn't want to drag my 4 kids to a cashpoint at 7pm. She said sorry but no card payments. I told her I would never order from here again and take my custum elsewhere! Well done tammy's you have just lost minimum £200 a month from my pocket!

By far the best Chinese/Cantonese takeaway we've had. We only order from here now as we've spoilt our taste buds with their delicious food!

The chicken and beef were like jelly as though it had come out of a tin. Was not enjoyable, could not eat my meal. Wouldn't recommend.

Really tasty food with extremely fast service, and the prices are what you'd expect from a Chinese takeaway. Always collect so can't comment on speed of delivery. However, my food is always hot when I bring it home. Good choice, again, nothing out of the ordinary. You can surely find all your favourite meals. Will definitely buy from them again.

Great Friday night. Food delivered was hot and fresh. Vermicelli, rice and dishes all good. Tried bean curd dish which was also great.

after going to jade house for so many years and being fussy about trying new chinese places to order from.. tammys menu looked very appealing and good prices aswell.. every since I've never gone anywhere else we have tammys once a week, the happy meals are amazing and defo worth the money, the staff are very friendly and so is the delivery guy.. absolutely love tammys never will I eat at the different chinese again!

Contrast to the other reviewers my overall experience with this company was absolutely poor. First couple of orders were delivered in a timely manner but after that they would arrive way over the specified delivery time. The telephone staff were extremely unprofessional. I put forward a straight forward complaint about the delivery time and all I get is "yeah yeah alright" and put the phone down on me. WOW really? That't what I get for recommending you to many of my friends and have spent much money with in the past. Not how you get a good reputation and have now lost a loyal customer. Poor.

We started using Tammy's because we'd had a couple of takaways from our regular one and was not completely satisfied! We've had a couple from Tammy's now and both times the food was lovely! The staff are very friendly and helpful both on the phone when taking the order and at the door when delivering the food!
