Tamarillo in Sefton

Recently visited this place, ordered my food, paid and whilst waiting for my food to be done i was looking at menu. i was asked very rudely did i have a problem and why was i looking at menu, she was not a very nice woman and although the food was ok, i will not be returning here.

Four different occasions they have overcharged me now. They must be making an absolute killing on overcharging people. This time questioned the man (think the owner - who is the person who is always doing this), he said that the boards with prices on were wrong. Even with the figures he gave and the bag charge he was still out though. Not by much but still an charged too much and because this is not an isolated incident I’m marking the place down and will not be returning on principle. Which is a shame as the rest of the staff are really nice and the food too.

Went here on recommendation of a colleague. First time. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. Check the bill before you pay as they overcharged me.

Love the breakfasts here, also such a wide variety of salads and sandwiches. Reasonably priced and all the staff are pleasant, efficient and friendly. And best of all, right by my workplace :)

Food is delicious, incredible amount of choice, Friendly efficient hardworking staff, Fantastic value for money. Buy lunch from here several times a week and ive never once been disappointed. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This is a great little café. The service seems a bit disorganised but there is lots of choice for breakfast sit in or take out. The service is quick and the food very good value. Can't fault it.....great value for money.

This cafe is amazing! The amount of choice is phenomenal and the prices very reasonable. I've never seen a cafe as busy as this. All staff were lovely and working extremely hard to serve dozens of people at once. Eat in or takeaway. Will definately visit again when in the area.

Fantastic take away breakfast best I've had in a long time even good runny eggs and proper toast all with a coffee and change from a fiver. Deffo go back the owner Tim is a great laugh too.

We are never disappointed. We order our food to be delivered to work every week and can not fault the service or the value for money.

Nice food friendly staff nice interior. Food is always hot & not greasy.i would recommend the toast is sooooo tasty & a dam fine cup of coffee

Right by my office which is convenient and it does a great breakfast at a reasonable price. Also does very nice baked potatoes with a great choice of fillings for lunch

Working in Bootle for the day and surprised to find this great little cafe. The choice of breads and rolls is first rate and so many fillings to chose from you could spend all your lunch deciding. I'm here again soon so will aim for breakfast.

I've been visiting this cafe since it opened and have always enjoyed the food and service. It is excellent value for money and the staff are fabulous.You can eat in or take away the food, which is breakfast and lunch dishes. Vegetarians are well catered for, with a wide variety of choices.

Great service, great food, friendly, generous portions, reasonable prices, good vibe. Dropped in needing a quick breakfast and really enjoyed our visit and the food. Coffee great also.

I don't know how many times I have came into work hung-over but a belly buster from here always cures me! The other people I work with also come every morning for their bacon mushroom on white and love it! The staff are literally the kindest people ever especially Pat! Service is always quick and never left waiting long. Food is always good and I would be lost if I didn't have this little café round the corner!

Can't fault this place. Besides the fab breakfast menu & home made soups, I have purchased trays of sandwiches and bowls of rice and salad for a gathering of friends at home. Went down a treat and the salad so fresh and crisp. "MY" entertaining was deemed fabulous haha.

Friday is Tamarillo breakfast day in work. I can't fault the food, place is amazingly clean and staff are friendly plus the prices are pretty decent!!

Love, love; love this place and judging how busy this place gets, others agree with me. Friendly staff, excellent variety and their homemade soup is AMAZING! Jacket potatoes are always well baked to perfection! Huge choices and ranges of food and drink. My fave place! :)

Title says it all. We regulatly order by phone as we work nearby and collect order before team meetings. They cater to every wish. Light toast, dark toast, mayo, no mayo. Highly recommended!

Lovely fresh food; I've never eaten there, always getting a sandwich to take out at lunchtimes, but plenty of people eat in; staff are great - polite and quick.
