It was Sunday. Gave in to a lovely Sunday lunch. Turkey for 2 Beef for me.. Excellent quality.. Delivered to the table in what seemed 5 minutes ahead we sat down. Brilliant. Thanks Andy and Team. Its Monday Evening. Its STEAK night at the Talbot. So looking forward to it. Had a Jamesons Lime and ginger to start. What's not to like. Got lots of deals going. Ordered the big steak meal with extra chips and peppercorn sauce. Last time I ordered the TWO STEAKS FOR £6 EXTRA. THE STEAKS AND WHOLE MEAL WAS LOVELY BOTH TIMES. This was probably been my 20th visit. The service is very quick and staff very helpfull. Today we were waited by Jamie who made a few moments to be sociable, even though he was busy waiting on other diners. Thankyou Jamie and other staff. From Barry & Paul.

Best experience I've had in a hungry horse. Absolutely love Stacey's enthusiasm and spirit she brings to the pub. Absolutely made my day. Great value for amazing portions of food that tasted great. Will definitely be coming back again

This place was one of the worse hungry horses I’ve ever been too. There was a lady rushing around and shouting, I think I caught her name as Lasey or Stacey stood at tables speaking really loud. My child is autistic and really struggled to cope with her. The team were miserable and looked really unhappy with their job. The quality of the food was shocking, half of it was cold and when we told them they seemed shocked that we were addressing an issue. Like do you all live in cuckoland? The drinks were in dirty glasses, my daughter couldn’t even drink out of it or eat her food as her OCD was triggered by the unhygienic appearance. There was no apology for the poor quality of food or poor service. The toilets were vile, smelt of urine. I don’t think we will come back here again! They need the friendly staff back. These staff are unhappy and unkind. Get rid of that loud girl. She’s really unprofessional for a nice place like that.

First time in the Talbot in Keynsham, was served by Stacey who was incredibly bubbly and helpful, nothing was a bother, food was delicious and I would definitely recommend the Talbot to friends if they were visiting from Scotland x

Jack was awesome and this was a great place

Wonderful service and amazing food. Our server Jack, gave us and our children a wonderfully geeky, larger than life experience (we are geeks ourselves, so it was really nice that we were met on our level) and the giggles from a small boy watching from a different table made the amazing atmosphere even better. We will definitely be coming back again, please never change Jack!

I'm gluten free so can be difficult finding good food. The talbot has a small gf menu, selection of starter, main and pudding, but the food does taste pretty decent. They take allergies seriously, so make sure you let them know at the time of ordering your food. Plenty of parking and free long as you type your reg into the machine at the till. Staff very friendly and helpful, polite and well versed in what they have in stock and what's on offer wise etc. Pub was warm and clean, very welcoming feeling. Also at the moment if you are a blue light holder, you get 15% off. Type in either greene king or hungry horse. I'd recommend here if you want semi cheap, with good service

I brought in my son who has autism and loves to go to this pub that my sister took him before. And it qas brilliant, the bar lady Stacey has been brilliant and the service was great I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and come again.

I recently dined at Talbot Keynsham, and my experience was disappointing. I ordered a steak, but it wasn’t cooked to my liking. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. They did agree to re-cook the steak, but when it was returned, it came on the same plate with cold chips, and the steak was still not cooked properly. To make matters worse, I had to ask for a refund as I wasn’t offered any compensation or even an apology for the poor service and food quality. For a place that usually has a good reputation, this visit really missed the mark. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

What a lovely place for a meal after an appointment at the local hospital Stacey our waitress was fantastic, welcomed with a smile from the guy behind the bar. Great food and service clean and tidy!

My Wife and I visited the Talbot Inn Saturday 5th Oct On arriving and ordering our drink at the Bar met Jac the Bar Manager what a helpful cheerful Chap amazing.....we ordered 2x Mega Mixed Grilles the quality and taste 5 star. We met Lilliy which looked after us with our needs Lilly Thank you so much ..... Also James Kitchen Manager and Co Excellent Service.

Good value for money, a convient place for a quick bite, don't expect haute cuisine, but always edible👍😊

The third year running we have visited the Talbot for the festive menu. The food was exceptional. Three really delicious courses, enjoyed by all three of us. The starter of mushrooms in peppercorn sauce was fantastic! The staff were brilliant. Stacey served us and is the ultimate professional, super efficient, really happy and friendly. She was great. The guys behind the bar were also terrific. Our weird mix of payment (free drink birthday voucher and a different person paying separately for the meal balance and drinks with a gift card) caused no confusion whatsoever. Thanks to everyone involved. A great time had by us all!

We had a lovely meal recently on a Saturday afternoon, for 13 of us including 5 children. The service was great, thank you to Jack, Jamie, Sara, Laura, Danielle and Joe!

Ver helpful staff, good sized portions cooked very well. Had the Sunday roast special which is £10 with a drink! And means quality is normally not so good... BUT.. This was a very good value meal and very filling. Will be back!

Ordered 8oz Rump steak,first dish steak was over cooked,second was cooked better but steak was hard to cut,impossible to eat,I was offered a complimentary dessert, but declined due to not having a main course,staff were polite and friendly but sadly I won't be eating there again.

Great place to come for a Sunday roast, very quick and polite service from the bar, also the food very good value for money. Only down point no music was playing in the back ground but we will be back to try the mid week specials.
