This place is amazing to visit food and is amazing. For some reason, service was a bit slow. This great people to go with family.

Little less than expected. I heard my friends telling me that this place is must try one. I agree and I also agree that everyone has a different taste and choices. Service was excellent. I felt the soup was not as expected.

This place was recommended by a work colleague. I was so impressed I told my parents to book it for a chunni ceremony. Booking for 70. Honestly it's been a while since I received such great service, honesty and so accommodating. Even our kids were well feed. Kids meals were a treat. Thank you so much. Thank you Dipti and Altmash and all the fabulous staff at this wonderful place. Visited for dinner on Friday and can’t praise it enough. Delicious tasty food served by wonderful friendly staff. We had a huge variety of dishes, starters, mains and puds… all exceptional. It was our first visit and are already planning our return with our daughter!

Lovely place opposite Hounslow West underground station. Had gone out on New Year’s Eve. If you’re going on weekend you’ll find free parking at the station. Table was booked in advance so got a place to sit without waiting. We wanted Indian cuisine, tried chicken crispy, chicken lollipop, for starters, would say they were average. For drinks we tried mocktails such as Pina colada, Mojito and rose wine. Well made. Also tried mango lassi, very nice. We tried the Indo Chinese manchow soup, was fine. For main course we tried lamb and veg biryani, would say quite average for the price they charge. Tried Ras malai, too flavoured but soft. Bill includes service chgs. Service was good considering the festive rush. Good ambience and good capacity for tables. Overall a good experience.

Love it here, service is always quick and it’s my favourite place to go for authentic food in the area. Highly recommend!

Went to Takaa tak after a while and was not disappointed....had soups (hot &sour, manchou and chicken & sweet corn) , chicken kharai and railway lamb dishes....staff were very helpful and happy to be of service which really made the visit worthwhile.....high become d a try.

It used to be good food but now no taste. Wait time is too long. Before we loved it even we have to drive for more than 1h 30 mins but now it’s not good taste.

Am a regular customer and am always order takeaway and always something missing and I always thought will give review but I thought leave it but yesterday I ordered veg manchow soup and I request To don’t do hot less soya sauce less salt but as usual they make the way they making, was very hot spicy dark salty full of garlic no other veg in it and this hapin with me more than ten times, I always complain and they sed from next time we will not give you chance for complain but always hapin, they don’t lisin how you want your food only taking order that’s itam ver disappoint 😔 please lisin to your customer choice how they want , thanks

Poor service. Food very moderate. Not recommended complete disappointment, looking after only specific people not treating everyone equally. Particularly the guy in the till very rude. Dont get disappointed like me by just looking reviews.

Jedzenie było smaczne, ale oznaczenie ostrości 1/3 jest trochę mylące, bo dla mnie 1 było już ostre. Ryż był chłodny, mięso w sosie bardzo smaczne (bardzo pikantne!) sala dość tłoczna, ciężko się zrelaksować. Ogólnie polecam jeśli ktoś lubi dobrą kuchnie indyjska.

Ordered a takeaway after hearing a good word from a friend but was very disappointed ☹️ The food is below average, dosent taste like authentic spices but more like cheap commercial spices or ingredients used. Chicken curry was just too spicy with clear flavour of red chilly added to base sauce and the biryani was probably the lowest quality I have ever tasted (went straight to bin unfortunately as it was not at all upto the mark). Sorry but has high expectations as I heard this branch is always busy and food is good!

Good food and drinks but the atmosphere is so chaotic and hectic. The customer service was so bad, they did not listen to us at all and don’t even know what they’re doing. One guy rolled his eyes when we asked for drinks.

The food is delicious, I had the cauliflower bits from the starter menu . Great potions size. My cocktail was lovely. The staff are very welcoming & always have a smile on their face. And the owner is nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I came from Bedfordshire & will go back. Some parking outside restaurant, you may be lucky to get 1, but I think there is a paying car park nearby.

Located in the heart of Hounslow, it hosts one of the wonderful restaurants. They have a lot of seating available but would recommend to reserve a place on weekends. They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, if you want to have some yummy Indian spicy food, would suggest this place.

Recommened this Restsurant to many friends,Always celebrated special occasions by going for meal Food was excellent in past,atmosphere was relaxing too But after awful bland tasteless food last Diwali, I don't know what happened maybe different chef But my usual favourite dishes Chicken tikka meant to be chicken breast but it was cold hard lumps of chicken with red colour no spices or taste ,no way was it cooked in tandoor ,probably in frying pan Other dishes were just as bad Also they need to provide mother&baby room so mums can breast feed babies in privacy A very large tables of about four families sat together loud shouting Men drinking etc a woman with new born baby,she had her breast out in full view started feeding baby,other diners felt uncomfortable ,yes babies need to feed we parents know this so we take expressed milk in bottle,,small kids running all over poor staff trying to avoid Management perhaps need extend so large groups can sit upstairs Because every one does pay to dine So their experience should not be ruined by inconsiderate loud mouths Shame we feel we no longer can visit which was our favourite.

We took our visitor teenager from France to this restaurant wherein we ordered Chinese food especially fried rice n chilly chicken with gravy exceeded our expectations in taste and quantities. Further they don't serve Masala tea however the lovely waitress volunteered to make some tea for one of us to meet his need due to heavy rains and did not even charge for it. Our final bill was beyond our expectations we understand it but we did not mind it due to our guest. as we were happy to see our Goan famous singer Reggio who is the head there with great personality and warmth and definitely wanted a autograph but we did not disturb him this time. Overall great tasty food we enjoyed beyond compare.

Food was excellent but service really slow. Our waitresses passed us 3 times in 20 minutes but not once did they remove our dirty plates , until finally we asked them to. Substantial portions and really tasty. The dry tikka fish was enjoyed by all, succulent and tasty as were their chaats. Proper masala chai, enjoyed by all . Our waiter was very helpful and provided an excellent service.

Had to wait to give the order for half an hour .. after placing the order and clearly mentioning that I need a mocktail , I was been served a cocktail . When asked to change the drink the waitress made a face and said that’s it’s your fault . Seems like it was my fault that the waitress didn’t know the meaning of mocktail .. worst experience ever .. never ever returning to this restaurant again .

Had dinner last week .One of the staff member told us to order directly mains as it was10pm.Had extremely bad expereince .Food was ok .The guy in white tshirt had nothing to do with customer service .Ordered more naans while we were eating and it was 10:28 pm and he said they cant give us more naans as their kitchen is closed .I know it was their closing time .Atleast they can provide naans to those who r having food.And at the baar they were just standing and talking with each other .

Average restaurant with average taste, price, service and ambiance. Average cooking. We tried Chicken Mirchi Lagi and garlic coriander naan. Naan could have been cooked better. It needs to be more crispy, it was kind a too sloggy. Chicken Mirchi Lagi was medium spiced and had flavours of ginger and mustard oil. Loved the chutneys available with the papadoms which came free.

This place is awesome! My partner and I came here for our last meal in Europe and it was amazing. We got the butter chicken and Vindaloo and it was ridiculously good. The cocktails are a must-try AND our third round was free because of happy hour. :)

I have been visiting Taka Tak for the last 7 years. whenever I think of going Indian restuarent, my first choice is always Taka Tak, even after shifting 40 miles away from Hounslow. They have the most authentic taste for Indian cuisine. Thank you Taka Tak for maintaining the authenticity.

Este restaurante abre a las 5pm, es limpio con buen ambiente y el servicio a la mesa fue súper rápido. Le di 3 estrellas, porque cuando ordenamos hicimos énfasis en el nivel de picante por tener niños con nosotros. Lastimosamente cuando nuestra comida llegó todo estuvo tan picante que no pudimos comer lo que solicitamos, que lastima. Sabemos que la comida Hindú es picante y rica en especies, pero esto era excesivo para niños.

Brilliant food, Brilliant service, just needs a tad more space inside but apart from that minor problem, all good! Absolutely delicious food, pre lockdown and post lockdown quality has remained the same, if not better!

Used to think this place was special until they were caught out. Ordered Keema and found large chunks of chopped kebabs mixed in. When I challenged the manager, he finally admitted using the left over kebabs from other diners plates to "meat up" the keema - disgusting, unhygienic and vile behaviour! I will never go here again!

Bathroom was not very cleaned. Food was ok but serving was not very great. It was hard to find parking space. Overall, I would say its ok.

Dan uiteindelijk eten besteld. Omdat we niets op de kaart kende wat advies gevraagd.. werkelijk heerlijk!!! super lekker eten.. Er stond een bordje bij met uien en citroen en wat lijkt op boontjes... PAS OP.. dat zijn dus zeer pittige pepers.. maar wel erg lekker! Kortom zeker de moeite waard om hier te gaan eten. Je kunt dat eigenlijk al zien omdat de local's hier ook heen gaan.

Under Handed use of others leftovers, In your orders. We ate here last night as a group. dishes were ok nothing fantastic. Some were a little on the sweet side. But when the main dishes arrived we noticed that the keema dish had small kebab bits. When questioning one of the waiting staff about this. They just laughed. So the restaurant is using other customer left overs in dishes that you order.

Good spot in Hounslow for ice cold beer and generous servings of curry. Their momos are good too. I had a lamb Rogan Josh that had too much chilli.My cousin had number 1 grilled lamb chops (4) We had naans and poppadoms.Good service. Very nice evening

Nur durch einen Zufall entdeckten wir das Restaurant. Die Portionen, der frisch zubereiteten bestellten Gerichte waren mehr als ausreichend und geschmacklich einwandfrei.Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Dessert Matka Kulfi, ein Eis-Dessert mit Safran und Kardamongeschmack.

ZERO STARS !!! Arrived about 9pm, so a bit late. 915 placed the order. Before 920 the food was on the table. FAR TOO QUICK. The food was warm on outer part and very hot in the middle and steaming… Then asked a fairly general question which was - ‘was the chicken microwaved ?’ The chef then turned around laughing saying “microwaved ??” Then started walking back telling his other staff LOUDLY - “ there asking if it was microwaved ??” WHILST CONTINUING TO LAUGH !!! He repeated this a few times !! THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER !!! I highly recommend DO NOT GO !!!!!

The food was really good. Would definitely recommend the Chicken Biryani, would also recommend the Samosa Chaat as a starter. It was well liked by everyone at our table. I did feel that the Tandoori Lamb Chops were a bit tough, but other than that it was a good experience. Would definitely be going back here again.

I attended on 28/02/23. Amazing service. Best customer service from Dipti who serves us. Sanju offered water to me - noted I hadn't ordered a drink. Silvester address me with my name. We were made to feel homely and food was delicious as usual . Amazing team keep up the good work . And the best thing was they all smiled when they served us.

The waiters wanted us to order fast straight after the starters. Constantly harassing us for main meal. Just wanted us to eat fast so table was available for over bookings. Not comin here ever as this was our first time😠👎 Also starters had no salt and butter chicken had too much sugar.

I went with my friends in takaaTak and we loved it. We had such a wonderful time. the staff were amazing and so friendly. The food was so delicious amd they have good option of cocktail , i strongly recommend this restaurant. It was definitely worth it.

As a group of 8 rugby fans we have been looking for a good Indian resturant for years to go to after twickenham matches and have now found it! The staff were excellent, attentive, and polite. The food outstanding and quickly delivered at a reasonable price. Every member of the party was impressed with the quality of the food, the speed of delivery and the helpfulness of the staff. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. 10/10

Excellent food. Although did find it weird for the waiter to ask my partner if the spicier dish was for me (non-Indian) or my partner (who’s Indian); I sort of understand the rationale, but not very professional to enquire and even less so when I’m literally sitting there and can speak for myself. Would’ve been 5* otherwise.

Was looking for somewhere to eat after seeing the lights at Kew and chanced upon this place. Place full of local families which was a good sign. Service faultless, food excellent. Good size portions so often will serve two. No frills but good value and nice ambiance. Didn’t realise till later that I could have parked conveniently in the Hounslow West car park opposite.
