The bang for the buck of the skepasti is supreme.

Fallen off so hard :( I used to adore the wraps here which also used to represent excellent value for money. I had a vegan meatball wrap tonight around 20:20 and the service was cold, I paid £7.95 and it was underwhelming and unappetising. The only salad I got was red onion and a small amount of tomato and parsley - no pickles or other salad items which used to come as standard. Overall I will never use Taka again considering it used to be much larger portions with better service and more salad items. For the record I didn’t get a choice, they simply made the wrap and didn’t ask me what I wanted on it.

if you’re constipated go there, their food is the cure

Delicious chicken gyros - the chicken was really tender and tasty. Pineapple smoothies are also delicious!! Delivery time was brilliant.

Service is slow and rubbish customer service especially by the girl at the counter. Not greeting at all and you have to call her to get her attention. Shame as food is really good.

Ate in and got a very large portion of gyros and chips. It was good and it hit the spot, although the sauce could have been better. It also cooled down quite quickly so it wasn't as good towards the end. Overall good meal, and good service.

Delivery driver didnt call me as stated on the notes then kept telling me i had to pay him for wasting his time. Wouldnt hand me my food despite showing him id paid. Gave him £5 to just give me my food which was cold.

Great place for a spot of lunch! Service was fast, you could either wait for at the till, or they do have a self service, which was handy! The food was great! We had the Halloumi Skepasti meal! It was full of flavour and was very filling! Would recommend!

Had the mixed meat meze, and it was amazing! Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The souvlaki was perfectly grilled—easily one of the best Greek meals I’ve had in Bristol.

What's the point in being open late if you aren't going to deliver the same quality of food at midnight as you will at 5pm? Uber won't let us complain. Food was prepared half baked and was frozen when it got to us and was missing the side. Might aswell have eaten the money, at least I would've cooked it through properly

Really friendly atmosphere. Staff are attentive and responsive to individual customer needs and requests. There is always good banter. The food is excellent goes without saying. I have to praise Shinmay today he was very friendly and accommodating. I loved his positive attitude. I have to praise everyone who works at my Taka Taka. They have been excellent. I have been coming for over 5 years now and am looking forward to more amazing future culinary experiences.

Just arrived and staff are very helpful. They will guide you through what you want. No plate has been left behind which is a good sign. I'm in here at midnight and it's a very relaxed place to be.

Been my go-to takeaway for 3 years now. Always hits the spot, I like the new crinkle potato fries and the chicken sauce is INCREDIBLE!! Shame they've changed the halloumi as the old one was better. I recommend the skepatsi and chicken gyros wrap.

Great food as alust late delivery so it was cold

The food is good but the price doesn’t worth it. Terrible service especially with the attitude of the elderly female staff. It was freezing as it’s only 2 degree outside, I was dining in but the cold wind is unbearable as the door is left open. So I closed it, and that female staff is smoking outside. She open the door back on and glared at me. Is this the dine-in environment you create for the customers with the lovely cold wind at a winter night and with as cold attitude? Bravo

Don't know what's happened with this taka taka, have ordered from Bridewell street for years and has no issues. Asked for no tomatoes in a gyros bowl, had a large amount of tomatoes in the dish. Don't know why taka taka have switched to crinkle waffle fries, they're not as good as regular fries. also a piece of plastic in my food, which I didn't realise until I pulled it out of my mouth when chewing. Probably won't bother ordering from here again, which is a shame as it was a regular spot.

Food was hot and my main came with chips that wasn't stated on the site so I ordered some fries which went to waste. The fried were potato medallions not chips. The worse issue was the lack of meat in my meal. The quantities were so small I would report it as a rip off. There was a lot of cheese on the meal which wasn't listed and not ordered.

Solid good halloumi wrap after several cans followed by another 16 halloumi cans !!!!!!!

Debit/credit machine looks like it has never EVER been cleaned, so concerned about cleanliness of what customers don't see. Low quality food in the bowl upsold (clearly scraps of chicken - a lot of it was fat, produce not fresh, not properly heated).

The food didn't taste good, especially for the money, it was just bland. I got the gyros pork wrap, which could easily be improved with paprika or the sauces nicer Greek places use.

I gave 2 star for atmosphere as there were a couple of customer there. I ordered a chicken gyro kebab which was ordinary and the chicken was hard. Portion size is not great either. Customer service is the worst out of the lot. No welcoming and the body language wanted you out of there asap.

11 pounds for 2 tiny gyros? With strange taste meat? Using a carpenter pliers?! I wasted my money because it was closed elsewhere. I would buy a normal food (gammon) in a normal restaurant for that money. And not in fumes..

Very rude staff, there was no option on the Uber Eats to amend the order so I called them to change. The very rude staff member said not to order next time. Can’t raise this with Uber as they say contact restaurant and the restaurant said not to order with them next time. There is no way in hell I am ordering from these guys again nor I am recommending this restaurant to anyone.

My (veggie) halloumi wrap had chicken in it. Also expected some lettuce. It was mostly just chips barely sandwiched in some bread. Service was quick, ifa bit distant.

Ordered through Deliveroo, the delivery driver failed to find the location and instead of calling my phone to ask for directions he lied and said he had tried to call, and that he was at the located which was not true. The restaurant taka taka should be closed down immediately as they took ZERO responsibility for the mistake of DELIVEROO

Love Greek food. Loved the Chicken and Halloumi magic roll. Was limited options on one visit and ended up with an interesting but tasty gyros wrap containing chicken, halloumi, chilli sauce, and pineapple chutney. Definitely recommend Taka Taka's food.

ordered prime gyros bowl which is supposed to come with salad an pita bread, neither of these items were in the bowl. it was just a fries with gyros. not happy with Taka Taka this is the 2nd time an order has been wrong now and again cold on arrival. I do not recommend them at all and as with just eat you cannot speak to restaurant to get it fixed, ie they could bring me these items instead of just refunding the cost and thus get a better review than this.

First time customer. Me and my Nan walked past Taka before deciding to come in for a latte before getting the M1 home. The latte was extremely good. The girl who gave us the lattes was extremely polite (thank you). Will definitely be back for coffee and lunch next time we are in the area.

Avoid at peak times. When ordering in person takes around 30mins to make your food due to deliveroo/ubereats orders

The food was very delicious, I ordered a skepasti, but the service couldn't be worse, the cashier is an intolerant, I didn't understand his terrible pronunciation, I asked him to repeat it and he told me in the same way and with a look that bothered him that he had to repeat myself. It is very unfortunate that there is such a person in the public eye, I would invite him to go to a country where he doesn't speak his language so that he can see how he feels 😉

The food is very nice and authentic, similar to take-away spots in Athens.

As always great food and big portion. I shared the large skepasti with fries with my BF and it was amazing, it was enough for both of us. The prices are good for the size of portion you get. Even it was pretty busy, there was still places to sit Dieb and order came pretty quick. And it’s on great location, not too far from all the shopping area and not too far from Harbourside if you planning to go out afterwards.

Latest Review (2024): Ordered Taka Taka again! Still as good as I remembered! Make sure to order through their website for better prices. Or order try Uber Eats if you have a promotion/discount! Everything tasted amazing, we loved the loaded fries! They are huge! Review of 2021: Ordered a Collection using their website. When we arrived we did have to wait at the busy cashier queue, but i can happily say our food was ready and the person at the till gave it to us straight away when it was our turn. A lot of people will complain about their prices, if you are on a budget, try the "Skepasti"; its great value for money! Food was good in quality and plenty in quantity.

Driver got lost and couldn't communicate where he was. Driver said he was new to delivery so it wasn't his fault, unimpressed.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE VEGAN I ordered a very clearly labelled VEGAN wrap and it came with halloumi and mayonnaise in. When I brought it up to them they all tried to convince me that halloumi IS vegan. I was dumbfounded that a food business could be so oblivious to basic health necessities. I am also lactose intolerant and when I explained that this will cause me health issues it was clear that they could not have cared less. I did manage to get my money back after a lot of fuss but I would advise ANYONE WITH DIETARY REQUIREMMENTS DO NOT EAT HERE

Slow, unhelpful staff, average food and a weird atmosphere. This place is no way near as good as the Taka Taka at the top of park street.

Really disappointed with customer service. Usually on Ubereats there is no comment section so if I want to add any sauce to my wrap, I can call the restaurants directly to request this. Strangely, when I called Taka Taka, the staff member informed me that they can not add the sauce. I was merely asking for some chilli sauce to be added to the wrap, not change my order entirely. I am leaving this feedback so you can potentially review this policy. Thank you.

Missing items and poor quality food

Turned up at 00:15 despite advertised opening time of 01:00 to find a staff member fully dressed in their work clothes sat in an open doorway smoking a cigarette telling me the place was closed. The place had customers sat inside eating and chatting. No explanation, just a shrug of shoulders when I asked why they were closed early.

Prices go up, portions go down. Ridiculously small portions. We was loved it, but after today not going back

Would give no stars if I could, lived in bristol most of my life and my god half cold, half drenched in hot sauce I didn't ask for! Utter shambles. SHAME on you magic roll used to be good.

Good food but the atmosphere and inconsistent service let’s it down, I stick to ordering from this place and noticed they took down their halal chicken gyro bowl option on UBER EATS and DELIVEROO and now only choice is mix gyro or pork which is unfortunate as this was my go-to order from taka taka, will miss this option
