Lovely place and great food! It was our first time at the Moroccan restaurant and we enjoyed every bit of it, starting with the moroccan tea, maakouda potato dumplings for starters, harira soup, vegan tajine and chicken kouftas. Highly recommended and we'll be back soon for more goodies 😀

Unfamiliar with the area so took a punt on this place. After a slow ish start the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Sampled the sweet treats from the counter too and that rounded off a lovely bite to eat. Really good value for money in a comfortable and accommodating environment.

Excellent place to eat! Had the harira and bastilla - reminding me of Molenbeek, Brussels!! Shakshuka - another favourite. Sadly today - Monday 9am - they were closed. Breakfast had to be elsewhere... Not sure what the opening times are.

We randomly ended having lunch at this place a few days ago and we were in for a treat! The two tagine and couscous we had were outstanding and well delivered by a very friendly staff. If you're into Moroccan flavours this place is 100% recommended!

Lovely traditional Morroccan restaurant- staff are great. The food was amazing and added the extra I requested without any issue. Definitely worth the trip away from the city centre to experience this gem of a place. My go to place next time I visit. Homely/comfort food. A Reminder of my fond culinary memories in Morrocco.

Welcoming and authentic Moroccan food in true Amazigh fashion, with segregated spaces for families, friends, and couples alike to enjoy with a semblance of privacy. Most importantly, it's such value-for-money and hearty food that you could almost feel like you're in a Kasbah in High Atlas, helped by the traditional design and the ambience. I was shocked it was so quiet, but it was a Tuesday evening, and this place is a little tucked away - part of what it made it so good! I suspect it must get really busy with those familiar to this place on Fridays, which is couscous day in Morocco, so you best believe you might be waiting a while if you go then. Nonetheless, if you know Berber hospitality, then you know that the people will take every measure to accommodate you. Gutted I didn't take any pictures, that's how good the food was! Compliments to the chef and the servers. Will return for sure.

A nice place to try Moroccan food.

We ordered a lamb and chicken tagine with vegetables and the taste was fantastic. We absolutely loved it and the bread was freshly made too. The only thing they need to improve is to have more staff to reduce the customer waiting time and create more vibes

The young man serving us was super nice and friendly The chicken zaytoon tajine was yummy, the lamb couscous wasn’t the best and I didn't enjoy it The moroccan green tea was the best ending of our meal

The food here is first class. I went with my Moroccan friend who insisted we went because he was missing home. The staff are really friendly and he even let us try some things we didn’t order because he was so excited to show off Moroccan cuisine. Really great value too. I’ll be hurrying back for sure

Wonderfull experience and friendly staff

It is an amazing and peaceful place that offers a unique and magic experience. The food is exactly the same taste as in Morocco rich in flavour and varieties. I highly recommend this little oasis in the heart of the hussle and bustle of Birmingham.

Visited this place with my friend before and it was so good I came back again with my wife today. The service was fantastic and the food tasted amazing from starters to mains to the Moroccan tea. I loved the visuals of the place and although I've not been to Morroco I felt like I was there. The friendly and attentive guy there made me enjoy my food even more. I would definitely recommend a visit. The price was also good considering the current cost of everything. Easily spend within £20 per person which gets you starter, main and a drink. Me and my wife spent £44 for the 2 starters, 2 mojitos, 2 mains (served with bread) and Morrocan tea.

Wow. New favourite find in Birmingham. We had the lamb Malik and meatballs tagine and both absolutely delicious. To be fair, I was happy with the warm bread and hummus and harissa starter. Definitely recommended. The owner Rashid is attentive and kind too. Go soon.

*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*If your searching for Authentic Moroccan food then the tagines here are lovely. Well balance and flavoursome. Best one to try it the lamb tagine with prunes. They make a lovely fried halloumi and their red sauce taste excellent. Service is good but its very cold so I advise wear you coat inside. It's a family run business so with the energy prices sky rocketing I don't blame them for switching heating here and there.

Stopped by there at the evening for dinner. I think it was just before closing time so nobody was there once I get there. The place well decorated and bring a good ambience and feeling of authenticity as they said " We brought many pieces from Morocco and many more hand-crafted here to complete the design from the ceilings and lighting to our walls and seating." Well Decorated with all the things, staff are very friendly and helpful. Not had any idea about the Morrocan dishes and they pointed out that "Our menu has been carefully curated to ensure there’s a mix of classic dishes and also some little know traditional gems too, from our Bastillas’ and Tajines to our Abda coffee and Zaazaa." Just wanted to try their one of Tajines as I didn't have any idea about that, got help from the staff to choose something favourite in that place. Service was nice and quick, the food is okay, it's not something mouthwatering maybe I might choose other dishes next time. Also like to taste their coffee which I had not time for that at that time. Maybe next time

So glad this place has reopened. I have come for breakfast today and had Shakshuka and omg it was devine and sizzling in the tajine pot. The new look is awesome and so big. Will definitely bring my friends here to taste the other dishes. Welcome back guys you have smashed it👌

My wife is Moroccan and we both loved this place! Very authentic food that tastes amazing. Tea was perfect and the design and decor was very nice. This place has seating at tree back too so it's bigger than it looks.

Came here with the family for a late breakfast it's a really nice and cosy atmosphere you feel like you are in Morocco 😊 the food is brilliant, really tasty and nice tea and coffee aswell, and the prices are very reasonable I would definitely recommend it and the lady that served us was really nice and helpful

Booked a table a couple of weeks in advance but ended up here for brunch over the weekend with my family. What a lovely ambience, delicious food and wonderful service!! We arrived a little after noon so breakfast/brunch was all wrapped up, however they went out of their way to still provide us with what they could! Service was impeccable, no matter how often we requested bread, it was provided to us with regular checks if we needed anything else. Staff were very welcoming, looking forward to coming back and trying the new menu soon!!

Very good food!!! I went today and I had msemen breakfast and my husband had a tchouchouka. It was so yummy! Also the lady who served us was so nice, friendly and attentive... it is what I needed after a hard week at work as a teacher!!! Thank you!!!

I came with my family and ordered chicken Bastilla, two tajines lamb with prunes and artichokes. The food was really good and overall the place was clean and good service, will recommend them to my friends and family.

Great little place on Moseley Road for super flavourful and authentic tagines. Cafe area at the front with restaurant / extra seating in the back. The chicken zaytoun with preserved lemon and lamb malik were delicious, meat perfectly cooked. Mint tea on point. The potato salad and aubergine starters are fine but won't rock your world. Friendly and prompt service. Recommended

I had an amazing experience at tajine cave. The food was fresh and authentically Moroccan. The design inside was really cozy and reminded me of Morocco. The Kofta tajine was especially very tasty. If you are looking for a place to eat real Moroccan food, I highly recommend to go to Tajine Cave.

One restaurant you cannot miss !! The food was extremely tasty and homely, the restaurant is nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will come back regularly to try more of the menu !

I visited Tajine Cave today and ordered Hareera soup. It was really delicious food and I ordered 3 more Hareera soup to take home. Ma sha Allah staff was very welcoming and place was very comfortable. I will visit them again with friends soon in sha Allah.

The Best Moroccan food in town, friendly staff and excellent experience overall. Highly recommend!

Went today for lunch, just after 1pm, with my husband. We chose the chicken pastella and chicken tajine with olives both were really good ma sha Allah. Yes there is a bit of a wait because everything is cooked fresh so the wait is totally worth it. Decor is great. Definitely want to go back and try more of the menu! Note that couscous is only available on Fridays and the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.

Tajine Cave is one of those places where you will not only enjoy the great food but the decor, the environment and the warm and friendly staff's company as well. Delicious combination of prunes, lamb and toasted peanuts is something you should definitely try. A must visit.
