Taja Indian Takeaway in Poole

Bland , chicken well over cooked , bombay potatoes dry and no spice . Rice was good naam bread dry and think it was yesterday's. Sack the chef . Sorry 😞 not good

Don't be put off by the rundown and noisy neighbourhood this takeaway is in. It's an amazing takeaway. The curry was hot, fresh and delicious. Although I chose a rather 'out there' dish and I probably wouldn't choose it again, it still was well cooked and tasty - this is more down to personal preference. The lovely gentleman who served us was a delight - cheery, polite and a pleasure to be around. The prices were very reasonable, I only wish I could have tipped them after I tasted how good the food was, but sadly we were not in the area afterwards. Although there are some very negative reviews, I, based on my experience here, would 100% return if I'm ever back in Poole and highly recommend others to try this place.

Vile food delivered in a amazon box and wrong order refused to refund .AVOID this place

Speedy delivery, ordered 3 curry's, all different but hardly any difference between all of them. 2 were medium and one hot. Overall, disappointed,

We ordered a meal last night and waiting nearly 2 hrs fot it arrive and when it did it was cold, the cubes of chicken was solid.only good thing was the poppadoms were warm. We won't be going back there

I was a regular customer but I will never order from them again.I ordered take away on Saturday night went to collect it and I'd been asked to wait outside because I didn't wear a face mask. Some of us have medical condition that not allowed us to wear it but it doesn't mean that we can be treated poorly and disrespectful . Are we dogs or something ? Avoid this place if you have any medical condition unless you're happy to be treated like secound class human being!

Really lovely curry. I eat from here regularly and their driver is very easy on the eyes.

Good takeaway but the Madras was too mild for a Madras, chicken portions were reasonably good, but the sauce was a bit too orange for the normally red tomatoey consistency. Perhaps coconut milk added or something? Overall I was satisfied but the spicy stuff should be more spicy.

Very disappointed! Curry was very oily and bland, and the chips were cold. Will not be going back.

Great local takeaway, we've used them a few times and the food is always fresh and well prepared. Good range of vegetarian dishes.
