Everything about the Taipan Chinese takeaway is absolutely fabulous!!

Just had an incredible meal from Tai Pan. The food was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to Fiona, who was so friendly and welcoming—her service really made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be ordering again soon. Highly recommend!

Don't eat here. Chicken was processed, rice smelled and tasted like plastic, chips were like concrete. Disgusting food at a disgusting price.

By far the best chinese takeaway in weston. We have tried all other restaurants and Tai Pan is the winner. The food is tasty, great quality, generous potions, delivery is fast, red hot temperatures and the staff are fantastic. Plus occasionally you get a free fortune cookie...

I don't particularly like Chinese food, but the only item on a Chinese takeaway food menu I do like and enjoy is Crispy Chilli Beef. I bought for the first time here today and was bitterly disappointed. The so called Crispy beef with chillies on the menu was more like Soggy Beef with Chillies. It was so bad I couldn't eat it and it wasn't worth the travel to return it. May I respectfully suggest to the owners that they buy a portion from Noble House in Worle High Street and see what proper Crispy Chilli Beef is like?

Not the greatest of curries, the sauce is good but swimming around with Greece the meat tasted like it was marinated in oil. The chips didn't look advertising, probably once cooked and cooked once again.

Staying in a caravan park for the bank holiday weekend and was pleasantly surprised that Tai Pan offered delivery to our location. Food was fantastic (lots of vegetarian options for one of our party too) and it was delivered hot and on time! The Salted ribs and Satay chicken were two highlights for us! Highly recommend!

We have been using this takeaway for years. It's not the most local to us but worth the trip! The staff serving there are friendly and always happy to offer their recommendations if you are in an indecisive mood. The wait times on food are never excessive when collecting yourself and the prices are very fair. You won't get prawn crackers chucked in for free but that's not enough to put me off like some other local moaning people 🤣 out favourite dish here by far is the Chicken satay main dish (not the starter on skewers) and the crispy aromatic ducks just beautiful! If you are looking for a delicious meal and fair prices then definitely check out Tai Pan.

Overall rice tasty with plenty of meat. Removed a Star because of PLASTIC! Also children not trained well at reception often orders must be repeated. Thank you

We ordered once again chicken fried rice and crispy chilli beef. Absolutely lovely, the rice and beef dish were so fresh and tasty. Lovely white rice, and fresh chicken, and the chilli beef was amazing.

The worst Chinese we have ever had. It tasted like they put old food in the plastic containers and nuked it in the microwave for ages because it was with us in twenty minutes and everything was scolding hot. And tasted worse than hospital food 🤮🤮🤮

Having tried a few Chinese Take Aways in the area this is the one I much prefer.

Had a takeaway this evening. Was very disappointed, had takeaways from here before, they either have changed chefs, or have let standards slipped. Really tasteless, and duck with pineapple was awful.Don't think we will have any more takeaway from here.

No free prawn crackers. £40 worth of food not enough for 4 people due small portions . The food we did have was good though.

My first time ordering from Tai Pan, I placed my order over the phone, good customer service, order taken professionally, order ready on time, I had ordered the set meal for one person, sufficient amount of food, beautifully cooked, will definitely be ordering from them again,I highly recommend you give this place a go.

Very disappointed you refused to deliver to Oaktree Park yet you deliver to Haywards Park when we are on the way .

Brilliant service and the food was amazing. As a foody atmosphere, quality and food arrival time are the most important criteria and Tai Pan ticked every box. Would definitely recommend.

Top grub! In 20 years of going approximately once a month at least, I can recall 2 average dishes, that weren't bad but maybe only as good as most of their competitors. Every variation of starter, main and side is excellent, service is quick and prices are fair.

terrible service, would not use again!

Ordered the meal for two this evening at around 7pm. We live in the back of beyond ( with no street lights) and the poor delivery lady did get a lot lost...following a phone conversation with said driver our meal finally arrived just before 8pm. And I was really impressed with the quality and the temperature of the food it was red hot and delicious there was plenty for us to eat... in fact more than I could manage so have some for later. I can't complement them enough. The best chinese I have had since leaving Bristol. Will definitely order from her again.. highly recommended. 5 star thank you.

Having plenty of chineses within local distance this one is far by the best, i wont use anywhere else now. Excellent customer service, quick delivery and beautifully tasting food.

Quality Chinese food locally, what more could you ask!

Not nice at all. The curry had a funny smell but the rice was ok. The noodles were greasy. We also had sauces and chips. The sweet & sour sauce was like a pot of coloured vinager it was so strong and the chips were hard. Nearly £30 waste if mobey. Certainly won't be going back there again

Our delivery arrived suspiciously quickly, and when we opened the containers it was obvious that our meal had simply been warmed up, not freshly cooked. Most of it went in the bin, and the little that I did eat ensured I was still awake at 3am with an upset stomach.

Good food and good service at reasonable prices

Best Chinese I have had in Weston. The menu is different from your standard Chinese takeaway and the food is always quick, hot and fresh. They have some nice spicy dishes if you like it hot. The portions are also good, so you're getting good value for money. We haven't had a bad takeaway from them yet.

Been a regular for as long as I can remember because of the consistently great food. People in there know us by name and are very friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I have been going here for several years. The food is cooked when ordered and you can watch it happening on closed circuit TV at the front counter. The staff are very good and on several occasions they have awarded me prawn crackers because there nice like that. Pleasant waiting area with a Tesco Express a few yards away for a few extras and reading material to pass the time. Anyway if you want a darned good Chinese takeaway then I reccomend these good people.

Super friendly and the food is consistent so you can make it a regular place. I always fill up with the little ribs, Squid and top it up with the seafood rice dish. Other favourites are the fisherman cold killing broth and the chicken curry soup. Always good flavour and served with a graceful smile by matey boy the happiest waitor in Bristol Twon. Eat anything with a cold Chang and you're made up for the evening. You'd be prepared to greet any soft crusty or coked up media type with open arms on Gloucester Road. Sort of place you'd want a rough guide to tell you about. No messing.
