German Doner Kebab in North Somerset

So today I tried a kebag(the Dorito bag with the added kebab meat) It was good. Not amazing but good. Kebab meat was cold but Doritos where warm. The flavour was still pretty good though so I'd definitely recommend. To the workers: Just make sure the kebab meat is warm when put into the kebag meal. Unless it's supposed to be like that then you don't need to do that.

This is one of my favourite places in Weston. Great kebabs and great atmosphere

5 STARS! We usually do very basic food orders at fast food chain restaurants, but decided to spice things up this time and oh boy! did our meal from this kebab spice things up with FLAVOUR!! Absolutely delicious! We ordered for delivery, it was quick and hot and we are super happy and will 100% buy in future and consider it now a favourite!

The flavours are ok, atmosphere is fine,the service is average and the orders come out wrong.It wasn't busy when I was there...I ve put my order through the touch screen ..so I won't get lost in translation..but they managed to add chilli sauce instead of cheesy sauce.Please pay attention to details guys. Overall 4 out of 5 because it was my first visit and mistakes can happen.

i had this delivered. the portion was really bad. ordered a large chips and got less than a hand full. the kebab wraps were stone cold. the chilli cheese bites were absolutely amazing tho! ordered 2 cokes and got sent 2 sprites. first time ordering from here and it will be my last😂 the meat was also really rough, weirdest kebab i’ve ever had in my life and the kebab - salad ratio, was really poor. loads more salad than meat.

Very poor service, always forget the sauce pots, different soft drinks that I ordered for more than 10 times orders. In the Kids menu they put chillies… cold food, different size of fries that ordered and paid. Awful. I will never go there again

A good approximation of a German Döner. Tastes good. Not great value though as even the large one is not that big, and costs nearly £11 (once you add sauce - which should be included).

Do not order for delivery, after an hour and a half I called up and got told "driver hasnt arrived yet" then they hung up. If they have no drivers should turn off delivery as an option

Weston_super-mare 19.12.2024 12:45 We used to have a meal here regularly, but this place has changed a lot recently. Very loud, disturbing music, not the same friendly staff as before. We changed our mind and took the food away instead, and we ate it in the car. Made a massive impact on the Christmas shopping attitude. Very bad experience, we surely won't come back here anymore.

Hello, this is the last time I will eat at this restaurant again. I have been their customer for almost 5 months, their food is always very good, but these two days they give me old and burnt food that I throw away and it is not eaten.

I ordered food & they had put the freezing cold drinks in with the food meaning everything was cold. So I called the restaurant to tell them and she was rude majored and said “it’s probably the drivers fault, let me just check this for you” hung up the phone on me, and when I tried to call again the phone just rang through and nobody answered me.

Avoid this restaurant. The food served is HALAL. This should be banned in the UK. It goes against the Christian values of this country.

Visited yesterday for the first time. The cost was just shy of £22.00 for two. Food was tasty enough but absolutely stone cold. Service was ok except it didn't seem possible to serve two meals at the same time. The choice was between GDK or Burger King at that end of town I am afraid it will always be Burger King in future.

The food was OK, could have been more generous on the meat. I felt there wasn't enough. The staff seem preoccupied and could do better on the customer service. My wrap was made and no-one thought to make the rest of the order. I was conscious that my wrap was sat there getting cold until they realised there was more to the order,then they cooked the rest of it. Food was nice. Worth a visit

I had visited tonight. Placed order 2 jr Burger one with spicy curry ketchup and another one with Heinz ketchup. After placing order, I had gone to the till and requested one of the lady staffs to write down in the pack "Heinz ketchup" so that I can separate that two easily. But when the lady staff tried to mention it to another staff, Infront of me that staff misbehaved with the lady staff and lady staff gave my receipt back without say anything! Absolutely rude customer service!! I am afraid to go back to GDK again!!

I've ordered food there for the first time just month ago. The food was cold and portions very small. I gave them a chance and ordered again after few weeks but the same situation food cold just after 2 minutes I collected it. Kebab doner wrap is small it would taste perfect if was warm

Absolutely lovely people, and the food is even better. I never used to like kebabs before but since I started having GDK I love them. Whenever I've gone in after work late just before they close they're so welcoming and the customer service is amazing. 100% recommend eating here

Totally ower priced, the food is nice but a normal family just can't afford it. Secondly the portions in the beginning when it opened was nice but now they are less.

One of Few halal places in the area but very nice food indeed

Easy to navigate ordering machines just inside the doors, with so many options and never having been to a GDK before as a family of 3 we opted to use the self service machines instead of going to the desk. The 2 lads on duty Sunday 4th August were fantastic! They brought each meal out as it was prepared, helped my wife get some regular tomatoe sauce for our little girl, took our trays off us when we went to clear them ourselves, thanked us and wished us a good day. Absolute credit to their families and real assets to the company. Our food was fantastic, fresh, very tasty and excellent portions. We were all left very satisfied after eating and will happily eat there again the next time we visit Weston Super Mare.

Family of 4, came for dinner from Bristol. We ordered 2 boxes with chicken for kids, and 2 OG? kebab meals for adults ( one chicken, one beef with extra meat - £2.49 on top). Boxes... Chicken meat was edible, however there wasn't much of it. In boxes meat was mixed with chips, and there was hardly any meat to be honest. 5 yr old and 10 yr old left disappointed and a bit hungry. OG kebabs.... There was some meat in both but... beef one was appalling. So called meat, was as streaky, and as crunchy as american deep fried bacon. Because it was deep fried!!! No need to say the meat went in the bin. Chicken meat was edible, but very little of it was in the kebab. 2 adults left hungry. We paid almost £40, and now we're not surprised that the place was literally empty at 4pm, on Saturday, at almost seafront location. Unfortunately we will not be coming again.

What's not to like... you get exactly what you pay for. It's cheap, it's tasty and it's not McDonald's...

Well oh dear thought I would try this out a mixed meat box meal. No mix only lamb donner the chicken was absent!!! whole lot of salad and chips what a waste of £11 go to a local kebab house to get true value for money quality grub. Avoid !!!

Today, I visit German donor kebab, weston super mare I had my lunch over there. There food is very delicious and their cust service is also amazing.

After reading the reviews I had high hopes !! Service was good but I was the only customer. I ordered the OG kebab and I was really excited as they’ve just opened one in Bridgwater and although everything was fresh it’s was (20% bread) (75% salad) and (5% mixed meat) so for £7.99 which is on par with any other kebab shop it’s a very very poor portion. But I’ve tried it now so no need to return again not gonna pay premium prices for some bread full of salad. So unfortunately I don’t recommend if the meat to salad ratio was right I would be perfect but couldn’t taste the mixed meet over the salad. I really thought about if 2 star ⭐️ was to harsh but then I said to my self what’s there prime product there selling (Kebab) and that’s what I went there for but didn’t get !! So 2 star ⭐️ based on lack of kebab meet.

I hit up GDK for lunch having been sceptical about a chain kebab shop, and was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good (for a kebab), at a reasonable price, and came quickly. Eating in is a bit clinical, but at least that means it's clean.

We have ordered quite few times before, the food was okay. However, I am a bit disappointed with the portion size now. The portion size definitely went smaller. Kebabs got less meat. Paid for a large side chips only received a ridiculous small hand full chips. Wasted money.

In the picture should have been a chicken donner kebab but it was only salad, not chicken at all! And it wasn't the first time. I would never ever buy again from German doner kebab. Horrible!

Ate in at lunchtime. The place was very clean. Having not eaten a German Kebab before was impressed with the taste and quality. Service with a smile too

The better branch i have been too. Such nice staff and excellent customer service. We went when fasting and we i formed them we need the food just before the fast opens and they gave our food just before the fast opened. Will come back again!!

I'm happy more halal restaurants are opening in WSM. The OG Kebab is everything they say it is. You need an empty stomach because it's huge! I'd have liked mine with more cream as I found it a bit dry but it was still delicious.

The portion size was good and it was all fresh the service was quick.

Awful experience with German Doner kebab. Asked for the mixed chicken and beef gym box and got lamb (which I don't eat) with a tiny bit of salad. The chips were loose and cold in the bag and amongst these chips, which is by far the most disgusting part of my experience was a greasy receipt with a black hair attached to the tape! If you zoom in on the tape you will see the hair in question! When I contact the resturaunt nobody answers, and when they finally did they assured me they would accept the refund request which they clearly haven't done as Uber have denied me to refund and now the restaurant won't answer again. So Uber eats have failed to provide a refund and contacting GDK HQ is out of the question because the websites faulty! Very extremely disappointing from a service representing Weston-super-mare high Street. There are many more deserving restaurants that should have a spot here. We don't need more greasy kebab, and especially don't need any with disgusting hygiene standards, bad manners, poor presentation, unreasonable prices and small portions! CONGRATS GDK YOUVE GOT YOURSELF A SINGULAR STAR ⭐ (IT WOULD BE 0 IF I COULD)

Good store and service, unfortunately did not enjoy the kebab itself. Even with all the extra sauces and Doritos it was ok.

if you want something nice and tasty to eat, then give this place a very wide berth. If I could give it a negative value of stars, it would get about minus 4. I had a mixed wrap, and it was absolutely foul. There was more burnt crunchy meat than decent meat. maybe they just assume every English person is pissed after 20:30.

After ordering alot from here. I received a £10 off code via Uber which is nice for once it won't cost £35 but the code was denied and the only way to complete the order was to pay full price. Love the food but disappointing and will think twice next time.

GDK Weston Super Mare Today we dined at GDK Weston Super Mare. The quality of kebab's was just amazing. Especially the Doner Gym was just awesome. Mr. Patel (Sam) served us and showed utmost hospitality. Friendly staff and a lovely service all over. Would definitely come back again.

I have been here before and this evening aewell, the food is amazing and the atmosphere. I would definitely say the best Customer service. Specially Karthik is so good on what he is doing. So humble and so nice having smile all the time on his face. Thank you so much

We came in today to try a different and innovated kebab service. The food was well cooked and very well prepared and served. They have table service. This place was immaculately clean. THE FOOD OUT OF THIS WORLD. I would personally prefer this kebab to the traditional one. The portions were generous the salads tasted fresh. Food comes with a option of sauces ... and why not having them all 😁 price wise ££ but considering the amount of food we had I belive it was fairly priced. Only suggestion would be less cheesy sauce on the burger as when it cools down gets a rubbery taste. And some little wooden spoons for the sauce so it can be transfered to the meat.

All a bit, meh. After great hype about this place, I tried it and was not overwhelmed. Dont get me wrong. Is ok. But my personal preference did not enjoy it. And the general atmosphere was non existant.

Not what was described... And when I phone the restaurant to ask they said (in a very rude way) that is should be, but description says different. And very unpleasant customer service.

So this is the second time we have ordered from Just Eat, both times our food never turned up and when we spoke to someone from the resturant they said that they don't have numbers for their drivers, so to take it up with Just Eat which I have, but they also had no regard if we left a bad review or not its like they don't care about bad press, we were left hungry and frustrated we won't be going here again! Very upset for their "customer service"

Went for a kabab and it was not edible, we got something completely different to what we ordered, the chips were cold and the person that served us couldn't speak hardly any English, we left without eating it and wasted £20.00 worth of food, we use the same in Gloucester and have never had a problem

1st ever kebab at 4pm ! Was very nice and different

my partner and i decided to come here to try out the food and we were very disappointed. we were met with bad customer service. he got the boss box and honestly he had more packaging than food and he didn’t like the taste. i got the panini meal and a side of chicken spring rolls. and i too was disappointed. the spring rolls were chewy and the panini had more bread , which was over cooked, then filling and none of which had much flavour. i didn’t even finish my food. we are both severely disappointed and it’s not worth the money at all.

The kebabs were decent and the veg was mid. Atmosphere was great, we had plenty of entertainment from my diabetic friend.

Really lovely food and staff in the Weston branch are so nice. The doner krunch burger in brioche bun with added doritos is lush, and I'm obsessed with the chicken doner wrap. Cheesy chips are also the best in Weston I've reduced my star rating due to how expensive it is to order from here, its not good value at all.

I had a couple of wraps there and the costumer service was banging. I had an issue with my order and the staff resolved if instantly. I highly recommend the place and wish to thank the staff again 🙏.
