Costa Coffee in North Somerset

Disappointed with the cleanliness at this Costa. Every time I visit, tables are covered in leftover cups, plates—customers are left to clean up after others just to find a place to sit. Meanwhile, the team is fully focused on the takeaway area, completely neglecting the in-store seating.

Good oat latte and tasty lemon tart.

This was the friendliest and best run Costa i have ever been too. Lovely Barista, happy staff, welcoming atmosphere. What a pleasure. My chai latte was excellent too

2nd time I have come here and haven't got what I have asked for.1st time they gave me a flat white and not a Christmas latte nutcracker 2nd time coming here asked for a mocha with caramel and a latte with extra caramel and drank some no caramel.asked the staff and they said they had put extra caramel in but it didn't taste of caramel at all.wont be using this costa again

What a turn around at this Costa. The staff were super Lily took our order she was very courteous, friendly, helpful such great customer service. Our food and drinks were prepared by her and a colleague both of them were excellent, they really worked well as a team. One of our group arrived just as we were about to pay. There was no fuss or priblem with adding food and drink to our order. We were dealt with efficiently and customer service was maintained thoughout. This type of service continued as they got an influx of customers and the café became very busy. Well done definitely 5☆

I'm a regular costumer cause i work in one of the shop near by, so i like to threat myself with a quick coffee during my break time. The guys here are very polite and recently i have been served by Andrew, that has been really amazing. Recommended.

Used the drive-thru. Got a drink on my way to work as I needed a little something to wake me up. The lady on the headset was so welcoming and lovely, as was the man who served me my drink through the window. They really made my day at 8am in the morning. Fantastic service!

Had a very bad service for the first time in my life at costa….. the woman who was serving me was very rude to me with no reason as i understood she is racist as when she heard my English accent she’s straight away changed her face in “angry one” and did for me and my daughter lattes Christmas edition not well the latte was disgusting way too white what I couldn’t even finished my drink cuz was really bad :( i came with my kids a baby and elder daughter after school around 15:10 or 15:20pm 22nd of November just to enjoy a little our time together as we love costa to visit sometimes but i never had any issues before this day, im very upset and disappointed that this happened, so when we decided to leave i went to buy some extra drink a bottle of water and a juice…. Before we go home… so i grabbed it and came to the checkout point and this woman who was supposed to make her job to let me to pay shes just from of my face left me alone to stand in there! She went to clean the tables ! At first i thought maybe shes going to a break time but then i see she went to clean tables… then i thought ok maybe she clean quick one or two and come to checkout me as she see im waiting. And what do you think ? She didnt came at all she was keep pretending to clean the tables!!! I felt very very bad people seen i stay alone and no one paid attention! I stood 10 minutes if not more until the one of members finished to do the drinks for a customer he didn’t seen i stood as he was busy with preparing drinks, by the way after his done i called him and also did complain for him he said will mention this for her he seemed also confused why shes left and not coming to make her job, but also he tried to tell me that is nothing about racism.. but im sure it is because with all attitude she showed how with hate she treated me, my daughter also seen how shes was watching at me angry !!!! I dont understand i didn’t do anything bad i been talking kind and smiling nothing bringing negative from my side! I wanted just to have a nice time! And she seen we been in a rush also as my baby on breastfeeding so i had limited time and wanted to go quick out until she was sleeping! Also i didn’t seen her name, but shes blond with short straight hair until her neck something like that was wearing Christmas jumper and deers headband… i hope she will see this comment and will be ashamed of herself! Dont treat people like you dont want to get treated the same in your life try to learn to be kind or dont work in customer service if you dont know how customer service works!!! And hope i wont see her next time! Now of this woman we gonna be afraid to go there again just because we dont want to ruin our moods again o dont want this woman to serve us ever again…. :(

Sorry to say but came in today lunch time and had one of the turkey and bacon tostie I'm sure it wasn't cooked properly I unfortunately about 45 minutes later couldn't do any shopping had to rush home stomach ache and felt sick 😢 diarrhea . I was with my daughter and granddaughter I traveled from cheddar to catch up for lunch with them.

Even when it's Busy the staff are lovely! Huge shout out to Nat on the tills. Absolutely hilarious and always amazing service!

Very busy today, Had a shortage of staff, but still we managed to get a coffee .

Had a fabulous experience here today, came as a treat for my 4 year old daughter and she spilt her hot chocolate almost as soon as she sat down with it. Staff were so helpful and kind and offered to get her a replacement drink adding whipped cream and a marshmallow as she was upset about the spill. Staff generally very upbeat and friendly. Very nice happy vibe about the place!

Drove through for a frostino, it was cool not cold and had obviously been left on the side waiting for some poor person to receive it. Young man who gave it to me smirked, it must have been a big joke. After experiencing how bad it was I asked him if I looked like a mug and told him it isn't cheap coming here. The manager took over, she is a credit to herself and the Costa chain. The young man was smirking behind her. However the lady offered me another drink but gave me a refund after I refused, she then apologised. I gave two stars instead of one because of her, however the young man needs a good kick up the backside . I won't be using this Costa again.

Great coffee but why do they sell such overpriced miniscule cakes ... The cheese twist was total rubbish & the COOP version sells for £1 & isn't floppy & soggy

A very well mantained and clean instance of the ubiquitous chain coffee house. An up to date and comfortable interior is paired with a pleasant outside seating area. Staff were friendly and the coffee was served quickly and was very good. A top example of Costa stores.

Service very slow toast was like hard couldn't eat it

My drink was great but my partner ordered a vanilla coffee but it arrived with no vanilla, he couldn’t drink it.

It’s not the first time I’ve had this experience at this Costa, tables full of used cups/ plates and really slow service at the till. It will be the last time we come to this one.

I went through the drive through this morning 9.25am. Was served by a friendly, kind, genuine server. She was the happiest most pleasant person that really blew me away, just very pleasant, even gave our pup a puppacino. Thank you!

We had a takeaway from this Costa coffee this morning and I have to say we had excellent service of food and drinks which was very efficient and delicious from a very delightful lady which made our experience a very pleasant one. Thank you costa coffee you have great staff.

Always friendly and efficient despite being v busy.

Ordered here a few times with it being local and the drinks always taste watered down especially ordering a large. Compared to other Costas in the area the difference is very noticeable.

Warm, friendly service, plenty of delicious savoury and sweet choices. All food and drinks were hot and tasty.

An employee eating what looked like a bacon sandwich then licking his fingers, proceeding to open the fridge take a bottle of coke out and drink it. If that wasn't bad enough he then pushed his hands in the bin and the started to make a coffee without washing his hands. Will never return to this Costa and will think very hard before going to another at all .

The coffe was great and everything but the girl that served me, Aalisha I think smelled awful and was super rude to me, I know people have off days but this has been a few times now and all the other staff are lovely

Awful experience. Come here very often but never again. 2 men served me. No smiles or anything that made me feel welcome. Just looked like they wanted to go home. Talking negatively about other customers behind the counter and just very very rude in general. I expected better from this costa as every time I come I always feel satisfied but I think this has put me off for good.

Nat is the happiest, friendliest, most lovely person I’ve ever been served with. Me and my partner smile every time we hear her on the intercom because she radiates positivity. If there is a way to say thank you with a gift please let me know because she deserves the world.

I have visited many Costa on my travels, and will say that this particular one always gives very good customer service.

I rate retail staff by comparing them to ASDA staff, who in my opinion always come out worst. However the young man at Costa WSM was actually able to get himself rated below ASDA. He was supposed to give us our drinks in take away cups. Gave us glass ones instead. Asked for 280degree hot coffee. Didn't happen. Had asked and paid for a pup cup. Repeated request, he was going to charge me again. He checked the sale and discovered that I was right. Coffee and food was usual high standatd

We sat inside, nice and clean, good choice of sandwiches and snacks. Their toast is scrummy. Good friendly service.

Dirty inside and out,pitiful selection of cakes that had flies walking all over them. There didn't seem to be enough staff,Unable to claim my birthday cake & free drink as there was no signal or WiFi to access the Costa app to get QR codes.

Young blonde lad served me this morning. First time for longer than I care to remember : I have been given a proper cappuccino from Costa. I believed the art of frothing milk had been lost in the UK. This young man has given me hope. Now, give him a pay rise, and get him to teach the rest of Costa how to make a PROPER cappuccino !

The slowest drive through in the country.

Costa Coffee my favourite is a flat white. Always a lovely cup of coffee. Happy young people here working well.

Great coffee friendly staff. Take your own reusable cup and get an extra star towards your free drink, pay for four coffees and get your fifth free. They sell Marks and Spencer’s snacks and sandwiches.

Coffee and service was good and fast. WiFi does not work. And never worked properly for months...

In a world starting to be filled with grunting teenagers, lazily chucking your food out through a small window, its very rare to experience excellent customer service. The kind of customer service that makes you drive away with a smile knowing that your day has been made better by another Human. That breath of fresh air comes in the form of Natalie at the A370, Weston-Super-Mare branch of Costa. If any of the Costa bosses read these reviews please take note that she is a shining example of how to interact with customers. Myself and my wife not only came away with a brew and a snack but the joyful feeling that the infectious personality and happiness of Natalie got us on the right footing to embrace the day. It is the simple things and the world needs more Natalies.

Excellent service by a very upbeat Barista, didn't catch her name though. Only downside their outside bin was overflowing and flying...

Service was very, very slow even though they appeared to have enough staff. Coffee was not very hot and not very strong at all. Cake choice was limited. Sadly will not be returning.

It's been 3 years since my first visit and I'm sadned to see that the service has declined. We decided to have a quick lunch and coffee here today. The cafe was was not too busy as it was about 2.30 so I was disappointed to see the staff taking what seemed like an eternity to serve each customer. When we approached the server he just walked away looking at his mobile phone with no acknowledgement or "will be with you in a moment". We found this particularly unnecessary and rude . When we were finally served, they were pleasant but not very engaging. We had a couple of hot drinks a toastie and one of te ew bacon and egg brioche baps. They were all okay, but could have been hotter. There was no sugars or napkins in the sugar, etc station, we asked if there was any available and was reluctantly passed a couple of brown sugars. (no effort made to refill for other customers) the staff here could do better and just need a little kick up the bum to get them putting in a bit more effort. Cafe was tidy and relitivly clean, behind the counter needed a wipe down and tidy up. Staff well presented. Free parking available, outside seating, customer toilet and drive through.

I decided to get a coffee from Costa on Marchfields Way. I was intending to have coffee and cake. They were very short on cakes, so I just had a cortado. I had a free coffee on the app, so it didn’t cost me anything. My main issue was that, I was drinking in, but they still served me my coffee in a takeaway cardboard cup. I prefer my coffee in a real cup, and actually will make the time for a coffee, rather than do take out. However the choice was coffee in a takeaway cardboard cup, or no coffee. As I wanted a coffee, I took the takeaway cardboard cup. Service was a little slow considering there were way more staff than customers in the queue. The coffee was quite nice though.

Frequent stop on my way into or out of Weston. Nice staff, and I always use the drive-thru due to mobility issues. Good range of food and drinks, but I tend to stick to the same old things because of my diet.

Absolutely filthy. I wouldn't mind as its Christmas and if they were busy however it's quiet. The tables are full. Floors are shocking! Would not want to return. Extra point was for excellent service but the manager really needs to clean it up.

No attention to detail. Never get what you order

Problems yet again here. It advertises 5:30am opening, yet it opens at 12 noon!! This has been going on for some time. Go somewhere more reliable if I were you!

I've been here only twice. Both times through the drive thru. The first visit resulted in lattes missing the syrups. On the second visit we planned to sit in but, for whatever reason, they had closed the store and were only serving via the drive thru. Made all the more bizarre by the sign on the door saying they had to close their dine in area when you could clearly count at least 6 people + children. I didn't know you could reserve a Costa.

Shelly was great! We love coffee and we love Costa, but it was our first time going to a drive thru Costa. Shellys customer service, and friendliness was so refreshing and lovely to experience, in a place where today most people have lost the touch of good customer service. We will definitely return to this one specifically now, instead of the one down the road. Thank you for making us feel welcomed, instead of a burden, like alot of places do these days.

I use the drive thru regularly, and the staff are always so friendly and quick to serve. There is a woman, I think her name is Nat, and she is brilliant. 👏🏼 Very friendly and lively, which is a breath of fresh air.

Ice machine often broken and queues often long and slow moving. Compliments to Meg who was friendly and helpful and seemed to be the only person working during our visit today.

It was okay but didn't have the mango frappe as no syrup!
