Taco Bell in Watford

This was an absolute treat - the fact that it came with free chilli sauce… unreal. The meal was still warm, tightly wrapped and made with passion. Combined with the sauce… I had to order again the next day

Very disgusting place to eat! Everywhere there was a lot of dirt, no clean tables, the floor was sticky and the toilets downstairs were horrible (please don’t try to use them). First the toilets there were locked so I went up and down the stairs twice as I needed a code to enter. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t touch the door or the flush button without toilet paper that was actually stuck in a very old toilet paper holder, the toilet brush-you don’t want to know…you can see my photos. I was feeling sick and I couldn’t enjoy my lunch. At the end of my visit I spoke with the manager and he was so convinced that the toilets are absolutely clean. Very disgusted! I will not come back to that place!

The overall experience was odd. It was Wednesday the staff didn't even acknowledge us, and the weirdest thing was the chavy loud music blasting on its speakers, as if they wanted to be a cheap crappy nightclub. Creating a horrible environment to sit in. I will not be revisiting this store

I love taco bell, however often items missing or spilt items

The experience at Taco Bell In High Street was horrible!! Me and my family ordered a lot and when we recieved our order, 3 things were missing and when we tried to talk to the employee at the front, she gave us the nastiest attitude while talking to her colleague(possibly shit talking us) and made us feel wrong when it was actually their fault. We kept getting side eyes while eating when we eventually got our order correct. This not only made me feel bad about asking for what I rightfully paid but made me feel anxious. NEVER going here again!!

I did not like the cinnamon twist things but that is due to personal taste. I thought the churro's were over cooked although the wrap I had was lovely. It was all stone cold & I had to nuke it in the microwave. Overall, disappointing. First time I have had Taco Bell, not sure if I will order again.

Service good Food average Shame I had to endure a staff member sit in the corner on her phone using the loudspeaker the entire time I was there with no consideration for customers, hence the lack of stars for atmosphere. Shame really.

Tastes lovely but one was a little light on the filling

The portions were much smaller than before and some of the nachos were stale, quite disappointed with our food this time.

Staff members were very attentive and understanding and left the store open as me and my friend had a problem with our delivery from using deliveroo. All team members were amazing however, the young lady FAB really stood out. This was on Wednesday the 8th of January 2025

not the right food and forgot 2 things

Smell of rancid oil in crackers.. yukhh. Food was so bland my 1 yr old didn't eat. Awful experience.. wonder y some people open business like this. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Ordered a large meal and received a small meal . Also ordered 2 tacos and received a burrito

every time we order from here, they miss out the guacamole. otherwise it's good, but. come on! the guacamole is the main event!

the food took 20 mins to come and it was only chips. asked where my order was and was told “it wasn’t placed” i was told i would be given chips anyways which took another 10 mins ended up leaving without the thing i ordered. horrible staff and customer service

My order was accepted at 13.37 with an estimated time of delivery of 14.30 the app updated the delivery changing it to 15.00 then 16.30 I rang Taco Bell at 15.15 to ask them why and they didn’t give a reason. I eventually got what was supposed to be my Lunch at 4pm!! If they couldn’t fulfil the order at the correct time it shouldn’t have been accepted.

I have order at 15:34 the estimated delivery time kept changing and after over 3 and half hours the app update me that the order is delivered although it was never delivered. I have contacted the restaurant and they said nothing they can do about that and I have to contact just eat.

Today I placed an order for delivery for myself, the only thing that was good was the drink, the taco came all broken because the meat was extremely oily, the rapew I threw all the potatoes in the trash and the churros were too dry, but pay attention to the food, here's a tip.

A lovely vegetarian burrito each for my sister and me, well presented and delivered by a polite young man. We love Taco Bell. Will probably have bigger meals next time. Thank you x

The food took far longer than it should do to come despite there only being three orders waiting, and when I did get the food there were elements missing. The toilets were either absolutely filthy and stank or were out of order, and the drinks fountain was a mess as well. Food was fine, it's taco bell.

It gets crowded since it’s in the shopping mall area but it’s a nice place for cheap decent food. They could use some more seating areas though for when it’s more crowded

Delicious food, friendly staff. Order at the terminal or directly from the staff, quick completion. Drinks to fill yourself and refill! The food was really good and tasted something different. Gladly again.

Uses their disabled toilet as storage and have locked the downstairs loos with a code. Fyi eating food with your unwashing hands is DISGUSTING. SORT IT OUT.

Order took ages to get to us. By the time it got here everything was stone cold. All the food was stale. Especially the wraps. Genuinely awful, what a waste of money.

As a takeaway, was rather disappointed. Placed order for 4 meals; only two were as ordered, two were wrong and food was only mildly warm(ish). The paper bags it was all crammed into were too thin to adequately carry food out with and ultimately ended up carrying individual food wraps!

At 4pm today I visited the Watford branch to purchase a portion of chips for my child after school. There was no one waiting to be served, I waited at the till for 10 mins before asking for service from the young lady placing paper on empty trays. She asked me to wait and carried on placing paper on empty trays. I asked again if I needed to wait for her to finish before ordering my food to which she said I need to wait for another person. I could see this person was just standing by the fryer, now I have waited more that 15 mins just to purchase chips. The lady then turned her back to the store and ignored me whilst carrying on placing paper on trays. I decided to leave as it was very clear to me the staff had no intention to serve me. I have noticed recently the new employees in many of the food outlets in Watford are rude and lazy to serve customers.

Food was cold… no seasoned fries!!

Got completely the wrong food. Spent £40 and all the wrong food delivered… rang Taco Bell and told to contact just eat, delivery driver just blanked the calls. Just eat haven’t bothered getting back to me after emailing them twice through the app. £40 for the wrong food and nobody want to help. Not happy at all.

Went in on a Saturday lunch time and didn't need to queue. The food was affordable and tasty, service was quick and friendly.

Worst food I have ever had. And I love Taco Bell. Chips were freezing cold, my Quisdilla meal wasn’t cooked rock hard cheese, made me feel a bit sick tbh. Also hardly nothing my chicken wrap, when I went back up to the till, the 3 people working laughed at me and thought it was funny.will never be going back there, worst customer service I think I have ever had.

Staff are rude they charge for the cheese sauce when they want some are nice and give and others are just rude. Always standing around.

Bit of a mess overall. Found ordering food very stressful, vegetarian options not easily identifiable on the interactive ordering system. Had to queue up to order. Once the Uber and just eat delivery queue died down I was able to order. (Took a while) Tables and seats were dirty with food crumbs everywhere. Mens toilet was absolutely filthy, stank beyond what you can imagine to be a bad smell and the loo was blocked up. We made a complaint to the manager who didn't seem to be concerned. Food was mediocre at best. The nachos were over seasoned and were extremely salty..some had to be dismissed. All in all, I'd avoid the Watford branch and might give another branch a second chance in future.

My usual experience with Taco Bell in the US has been going to a counter and placing an order. Here, everyone heads straight for large screens to place their order. I had previously gone in and tried to get attention from one of the two staff members to get assistance with my order but they were so busy wrapping and packing they couldn't speak to anyone. On this visit, it wasn't as busy so I went to the counter to order tacos and burritos. The gentleman has a very strong Indian accent so it was tough to understand him. We waited a while and got our order within 5 minutes but we didn't ask about sauces, expecting there to be some in the bag and there weren't. This was clearly our fault. The restaurant was busy with students and people having their lunch break from the office. I felt it could have been cleaner. What was very surprising is the very old timber building that Taco Bell occupies. Such a juxtaposition of history and modern food place dominated by technology. I know this is how the world is going but I personally would prefer human interaction every time.

Food is standard UK taco bell - more expensive, smaller portions and worse tasting then the states but it does fulfill the taco bell cravings The restaurant itself was clearly very short staffed with rubbish and mess on every table
