Absolutely lovely place to eat breakfast, 1 full English & 1 vegetarian. Enthusiastic staff, excellent quality food, great value for money (£8.50 each whereas other places were £15), incredible portion size, coffee was amazing and hot, thoroughly enjoyed my glass of Vimto, random but true. 100% recommend. We will definitely be back!

Well we thought we’d visit passing through and stop for a brunch. What a gem we found down a side street. Sat outside with our dog and popped in to order a couple of sausage sandwiches and a bacon butty as you do but wasn’t expecting what came out.. More than expected and kept the kids quiet for a few hours after. Thick proper bread, nice sausages load of trimmings. Drinks lovely. Check out the picture and you’ll see what you get. Hopefully you’re hungry enough to eat it all. Well worth popping in if in town. Wel recommended.

First visit since before lockdown and so pleased this delightful tearoom and cafe survived!Visited for lunch and order taken within a minute or so after finding a table. All food here is cooked to order but was served very quickly, piping hot, plentiful and tasted lovely. We had meat and vegetable pasty and quiche. Sadly, no room left for dessert!Staff are lovely, welcoming and all COVID precautions adhered to. Short term car park 100m away or restricted on street parking. Will be back soon.

As a former resident of the Pembridge Cafe and Tea Rooms, Pembridge, for over 8 years it was with great anticipation that I upped sticks and moved to Tenbury Wells. Moving house was not the issue but finding a cafe in Tenbury which did quality coffee. Just when I gave up the ghost I arrived at, Tabs Tenbury, today (my last Tenbury cafe before deciding whether I needed to move back to Pembridge or not ). At last, a quality coffee and lovely wee cafe where I will now probably reside until I retire. The coffee may not be to the liking of the casual coffee drinker but to us coffee connoisseurs it is pure heaven. It will certainly wake you up! The toasted tea cake was lovely too and both for less than £4! My only conundrum now is "should 'Tabs' have an apostrophe or not and if yes where is it?"

Even in these times of having to dine outside we couldn't have been more comfortable. The passageway is glazed and has heating by every table. The menu is staggering and anywhere that sells darjeeling tea for me has to be good. We had omelette and a breakfast. But there was so much more on the menu and looking at the sponge puddings this is a great place for comfort food. Highly recommended.

Went into Tabs tearoom simply because we had parked outside and it was handy. However, we were pleased that we had done so because a very friendly waitress showed us to an outside table and quickly brought excellent coffee. Sitting there we were tempted by the appetizing smell of bacon so my friend succumbed to temptation and had a bacon sandwich on crusty bread. Delicious. In all a good coffee stop.

Having seen the reviews we decided we would go here for early lunch. A very nice welcome, followed by a look at the menu. We are not the easiest family to cater for, husband and daughter are dairy intolerant, and I am vegan. Not a problem here! Our host duly went to check the ingredients of the bread on the breakfasts, no dairy found. Husband and daughter had full English breakfasts, while I had the veggie one substituting the egg for another hash brown. Even though the breakfasts are cooked on the same hotplate, our host said they would clean it down first and cook mine seperately. They did, and it arrived piping hot, on a warmed plate first. The other two soon came out and we were soon making happy eating noises!Husband said the quality of the ingredients of his were very good. My food was delicious, and the portions of all the breakfasts were generous. The food was clearly cooked with care, too. The coffee was superb, much better than a high street chain! We would absolutely visit here again, and with the clean bright decor, happy staff, and delicious food, why go anywhere else?

Makes his money from tourists. 5 of us went for lunch today 2 are disabled. They have a kids menu with no note of restriction on age. I requested a kids option for my mom who is 87 with dementia. I explained that she would only eat a smaller amount. He refused and laughed in my face in front of other customers saying "she can leave what she doesn't eat". When I said that we would be paying more he replied "that is why we won't do it". I now know that none of the locals will go there as he does not care about customers or their views. Avoid him.

Was in the restaurant yesterday to get some sandwiches for me, my sister and mum to take out and eat (my sister and mum were waiting with the dog on the burgage).I normally go to the Mad Hatter tea shop but she was shut, and first went across the road to the bakery, but they had no sandwiches in. Was thinking about where else to go to get decent sandwiches other than the mass produced ones at the Spar and the lady in the bakery suggested I should try Tabs.I then thought of course, totally forgot about Tabs as it doesn't really stand out as a cafe from the high street. I went in and ordered three sandwiches, the staff were so helpful. They first warned me that there was going to be about a 15 minute wait on sandwiches as they were busy, this was fine, as the food looked great anyway and worth the wait (I think it actually took them only about 10 minutes to do the sandwiches anyway). Whilst waiting the staff were very friendly, and I asked them about the bike shop opposite as every time I've been there he's always been shut, except once and I keep meaning to get something from him. The staff were very helpful and supplied me the number for his shop so I can phone him and see when he's going to be open.Once the food was ready it was very nicely wrapped up, complete with serviettes. The food was also really nice, I had a tuna sandwich, my mum had ham and my sister had cheese. The tuna sandwich was well filled, and so was the cheese, my mum loved the ham sandwich as it was proper thick pieces of ham (the dog also enjoyed a few pieces of ham). For dessert I got some shortbread from there. That was quite nice, although I think it was possibly lavender shortbread as it had some kind of taste to it. I'll have to ask next time I'm in there as I've never tasted shortbread like it before, but it seemed to have a taste within the icing sugar. My sister has had lavender shortbread before and said to me it's certainly lavender shortbread.

Went here at luchtime and wasn't disappointed. It seemed from the menu as being a fairly run of the mill cafe but it was very good value for money and I got more than I anticipated. I ordered a salad with chicken and cranberry also served with fresh local bread and coleslaw. It was only £5.10 which I thought was really good value as the salad was a very generous portion. The toasted sandwiches were also accompanied by a side salad which was much more than you would normally be served as a side salad. The service was friendly and very prompt, we didn't have to wait before someone came to take our order and the food arrived a few minutes later. The soup of the day was pea and pesto and was around £3.50 and served with local bread.Would suit anyone wanting a light snack or something more substantial and easy on the pocket if you have to feed several people.

We all ordered sandwiches which were delicious and presented beautifully with a small selection of dressed salad leaves . We visited Saturday evening and booked a pod, it was fantastic toasty warm ,nice linen and just really cozy, the service and food were outstanding, thank you for looking after us as it can’t be easy when you have weddings on as well but you would never have known, even got to see fireworks! Couldn’t have been better, see you again soon.

Staff are extremely friendly and always up for a great laugh. Portion sizes are very large, great value for money. Wide range of drinks to suit either a quiet night out or even a messy one. Amazing atmosphere all around be it in the restaurant or the bar. I discovered this little gem on accident, it was a very happy accident and I will be returning without a doubt. Thanks Garry and team

Limited menu, although some specials were on the board.; good choice of desserts. A very busy pub with people constantly pushing past from the garden and caravan site. Did not like the fact that the cat sits and walks on top of the tables and that there is a notice implying that the cat is not too friendly. Manager is a little brush, which was off putting and we have not eaten there since.
