Wow wow wow what a fantastic meal my son treated me to tonight. I had a masala it was so tasty, the mixed pakora was 1st class and the sauce with it was I'd say the best I've tasted. Wish I'd remembered to take pictures before starting our meals, we my son and I will definitely be going back. Without thinking I'd mention to the manager my son was treating me to the meal as part of my 65th birthday and to my surprise the manager gifted me a nice bottle of wine..

Great curry! And Lochlan was a great waiter at the top of his game 10/10; give this guy a raise and a brand new card machine; professionals can't work with amateur equipment. We'll be back for sure!

Great food, great service and great venue

My partner and I really enjoyed the Valentine’s Day set menu! I’m a coeliac and a pescatarian and the staff were so accommodating and lovely, really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was warm, softly lit and the music wasn’t too loud - perfect for a date night. Can’t wait to go back!

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was pleasant and food came out quickly. The food was delicious, the paneer butter masala was absolutely fantastic, the best one I've had in Tayside. Prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the food- absolutely worth a visit!

Really friendly team and welcoming to walk ins. The menu has a dedicated vegetarian/ vegan section which is amazing for those with dietary requirements. The food is some of the best Indian food I've tasted, very flavoursome and good portions - I would highly recommend this place - 10 / 10 Thanks guys.

Couple of hiccups in our service but was addressed appropriately by owner. These things happen sometimes but did not have an effect on what turned out to be a lovely meal of good quality food.

It’s mental that a restaurant in the 21st century doesn’t accept payment online - would help if they were able to answer calls to pay over the phone.

Had the 24 hour Biryani. Awesome. No other word to describe. Tabla always delivers.

Delicious take-away with lovely authentic flavours, but vegetarian options are expensive considering they don't have meat in them. I consider £9.99 for vegetable jalfrazi and £10.99 for a vegetable biryiana a little too much, but it did taste good.

Amazing little buzzing restaurant! Make a table reserveration! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with the menu! The food was amazing and quickly on the table! As weird as it may sound but you have to try the haggis starter dish (Haggis Bonda), they were amazing.

Fantastic meal from the guys food first class l everything spot on .we were out for my wife's 50th birthday and the guys surprised her with a birthday cake and the guys singing too her well done 👏 ✔️

We ordered their £20 special early bird dinner. Taste was okay, but not worthy. If I had reviewed the dinner menu, I would go for their dinner menu instead. BTW, they sent us double portions of nan/rice and charged us for them. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he refused to fix it!!

Have eaten here mostly in restaurant, we hsd a takeaway this time, disappointed , Pakoras were greasy, Nan was not nice, and our curries were mostly sauce , and mostly tasted of Tamarind . not the usual quality we expected..

Fantastic service and food. Mentioned to our waiter that it was my Fiancé’s birthday and he treated us to a mini bottle of Prosecco which absolutely made her day. I’m not normally a fan of Indian food but absolutely loved it. Will 100% be back.

Need to book the table in advance well because the food is so awesome that the place is quite popular. All the staff were amazing and work with a smile even though place was extremely busy. And I have to mention Avi, he is just tremendous at doing his job.

In Perth for 2 days for work and came here both days. Food was perfect and staff were lovely. Especially recommend the potato patties starter and the aubergine and potato curry.

Had a chicken dish iv never had before and it was banging delicious. I'll be back soon

The food here is wonderful!! We went without a reservation and were able to get a table but they were very busy so a reservation would be a good idea! The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was so, so good. Our favourites were the pani puri (so much flavour, such great textures, a must order) and the aloo gobi. We loved that the vegetarian dishes were able to be ordered in half sizes so we could try more things!

Great spot for a vegetarian. I had the methi vegetarian curry. It was healthy and very tasty. Would def come again if I’m in the area.

What a find!! 👏 Tabla is an unassuming restaurant you could pass by easily but I'm so glad we stopped by. The award winning curries we chose were out of this world and the Sai & the team were so polite & attentive. Wish we had obe in Glasgow!!

We were very lucky that we arrived so early and the friendly waiter immediately offered us a small table. There was a lot reserved about what I would receive after today's visit. We immediately got ice water with lemon and the cards. Very attentive, friendly service and delicious food. I would give this 6 stars if I could. Everything was super tasty with fresh ingredients. The portions are very generous and really tasty.

Everything was perfect! We took Murgh Pakora and Murgh Tikka in main course. It was really good, tasty. Size is great

An Indian food saviour, had a heart content full indian dinner after a long travel and living on jus breads. The person managing is also an Indian from Rajasthan India, he's very Pally and has treated us heartfully. The food is too good, this place has a good name around too.

A delightful Indian restaurant in Perth, with halal meat (apart from the Haggis), interesting selection of starters and decent main courses, portion sizes won't disappoint. Mango lassi was outstanding, thick and luscious, great vegetarian options as well which were very tasty. Chicken and lamb all freshly cooked so that was excellent. Service was good and responsive. You can also choose to have things mild or spicy.

Went last Saturday and it was very nice! It was a last minute meal, we were going to an event in the Library and suddenly felt hungry. Was very busy but they managed to fit us in. The meal was very good! And we got complementary popadoms, which is always a good sign. Would definitely go again if I find myself over in Perth.

Had dinner on Eid and must say the food is to die for 😋 Have been craving for desi food since long and this restaurant met all the expectations 😊 Also the staffs were friendly. The person named Ashish, was really professional and friendly! He made sure we are comfortable 😊 1000% recommended and surely visiting again 🤞 Thank you for all the hardwork and efforts you guys put on 😊

HAD to go the long way round when going on holidays to go here! Second time coming here and it was just as exceptional. I can't express how incredibly delicious the food is. It's out of this world. Please book though on Friday and the weekend. They graciously managed to squeeze us in.... Missing some lovely parts of Scotland because we keep needing to go via Perth😀

We had a fantastic meal at Tabla for my 50th birthday. There were 10 of us and everyone loved the food. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and made it a really special night. We go fairly regularly and have never been disappointed. 10/10

Excellent food, staff and service. Masala chai tea was really bland but they remade it and it was excellent. Really happy with how the staff handled it and they took it off the bill. Will definitely be back. Love the food and ambience.

One of the best Indian restaurant about .4 of us had a lovely meal and we got free prosecco after meal as it was my birthday price was good 👍

What a great meal. The flavours in the lamb shank and Murgh moonlight were phenomenal. The korma sauce was outstanding too. It was great to see the chefs working the tandoor oven while we were eating. If we are back in Perth, we will certainly be booking a table again

We visited the restaurant last week, the food was awesome. The taste was very much authentic India food and service was also quick. We loved that the owner came personally to speak to us and we were served complimentary salad as well. The restaurant was bustling with people and had a decent ambience. The only negative was that, the place was a little tight and seating may be a touch cramped. But all in all, super place to taste some good Indian cuisine! Would love to visit it again on our next travel to Scotland!

My first choice for the highest quality meal in Perth, accompanied by excellent service. Inauspicious but delightful.

Had a nice lunch here while visiting Perth. The food was excellent and staff very friendly. I had chicken pakora and chicken jalfrezi, more than enough for a filling lunch.

Busy, bustling atmosphere in Tabla this evening. We didn't make a reservation in advance and had to wait 5-10mins for a table. But it was worth the wait. Service was attentive, food was second to none and the recommendations were not unfounded. Will def be back when next in Perth!

Food was great, but food took over 40min to arrive, and that was just the starter and the place wasn't full.

Food was lovely but felt very rushed. We got there at 9.20 on Friday and they closed at 10. Felt that they just wanted us to leave.

I had a vegan dish and it was absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff also.

As we arrived at about 7pm ish after being at the races all day, we could see quite a few tables had been reserved, however, we were made to feel very welcomed and after juggling a couple of tables we were seated within five minutes. Service was excellent and orders were taken quickly and efficiently. It was nice to see that the menue was varied and saw dishes we hadn't seen before, so nice it wasn't run of the mill fare. The food arrived and it was delicious! We travel extensively and were please to taste authentic dishes well cooked. Well done to all the staff, it was a pleasure to eat there.

Wandered round Perth and stumbled upon this restaurant. So glad we booked earlier as it was full when we returned and it was a Monday night. The food was superb - the fresh spices and really good meat made such a beautiful taste. Plus - meals on rhe menu we’ve seen nowhere else. Excellent!

Loved it! Everything we ordered had such a great blend of spices - just the right amount of everything to create this pleasant taste. I had coconut chicken korma and I'd have it again :)

The BEST Indian restaurant in Scotland! They’ve received numerous awards and rightfully so! Everything was delicious! Our family of 4 had 3 dishes and it was plenty. We had makhani masala, navarathan korma and mughlai korma, which I would have again.

It was recommended to us by the owner of the hotel where we were staying in Perth. It has long hours (one of the few that was open Monday nights). Good Indian food; It has the typical of all Indians but also other quite good dishes. Recommended.

Sorry Google, I was actually at Dominos pizza next door to Tabla. Dominos was meh but I have been to Tabla many times before and it is always excellent. Try the Railway Boti.

I recommend it, I had chicken for a starter and lamb in sauce with pistachios and almonds and everything was really tasty

First time in Scotland I have experienced such a bad experience having Indian food. Restaurant manager was contradicting the tagline of restaurant saying it is a Authentic English restaurant not providing actual authentic Indian taste. Even when I complained about food which was smelling bad as well as tasting very sour, manger was saying that chef used beetroot in preparing gravies. This was so wierd that beetroot which tastes sweet/erathy was converting gravies with sour taste. Gravies were prepared with vinegar, and manager was denying same. Even when you are complaining about food, manger never cared about providing a proper solution. It was worst experience of having Authentic Indian food in such a restaurant whose owner/head chef had won so many awards. Kindly requesting not to ruin the quality and value of authentic Indian taste and preparation.
