Average food no complaints about that, place is in need of renovation very grotty, rips in carpets, toilets need a deep clean, whole place needs painting dirty marks and prints all around, dirty hot plates needed cleaning.

Best place to eat in Aberfeldy , Staff are lovley and are very welcoming. Food is great and is good value

Best Indian meal we’ve ever had! The chicken was incredibly succulent, and the sauce packed so much flavor. We even had leftovers, which is rare for us! The staff were so friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back — highly recommend Chillies in Aberfeldy!

We’re looking for somewhere to eat on our travels, parked up and found this absolutely gorgeous place, staff were super helpful and friendly, food was outstanding, honestly one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Will definitely be back next time we are up this way.

If I could give zero I would. We had a good afternoon over the road & a few beers Takeaway from chillies & it was *vile*. Pakora inedible, straight in bin. Lamb Rogan Josh, you couldn't even tell it was lamb. The sauce was hideous. Brown underneath, red on top. Bin. Naan bread very doughy. Basically avoid like the plague.

Went with a big group, delicious curries, everyone well fed.

I'm sorry but usually every time we come to Aberfeldy we swear by Chillies. This time however we were left disappointed. Butter chicken was a Korma at best, Chicken Karahi was so mild it could have been a Korma. Pilau rice we asked for was boiled rice & Garlic Nan bread was not the best.

Just had a meal was very disappointing my butter chicken had a skin over it and my partners dish was full of dirty oil and Nan bread was like cardboard never again!!!

Fantastic food, great value and excellent service

Takeaway was really disappointing. Dry crumbly naan - couldn't eat. Soft popadoms - have never not finished popadoms in past, but couldn't tonight. Nice mango sauce. Nice rice, tasteless unnervingly bright sauce in mains. Hardly any spice in bhuna. £51 for three main courses, naan and poppadoms that couldn't be finished - really shame as was looking forward to it.

We like the rice dishes, the breads were OK (bit thick). Was disappointed to see the use of colour in curry. Pakoras in platter were very oily

My chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. The nan bread was one of the best I've had but my girlfriends curry wasn't as good. It was small prawns in a sauce, with not much else going on.

Been here several times and always superb, the only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars is because the Byriani wasn't great, peppery rather than spicy but other than that 1 minor disappointment this superb takeaway always satisfies.

Friendly, attentive, basically lovely staff, fabulous food and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend despite a couple of negative reviews we seen earlier. Not our experience at all. We decided not to book but have a look in first, restaurant and the takeaway were very busy and everyone looked happy so we decided to go in. Other than unconventional pakora our meal was great. Starters were a little unexpected, we ordered potato pakora as there was no veg option and essentially got potato fritters. They were ok albeit unconventional for a pakora. This was as negative as it got for us. We ordered 4 different chicken dishes, around £11-12 each two Nan £2.75 each and 2 rice. The portions were very generous, the chicken was lovely, well cooked and moist, lots of sauce. Nan’s were crispy and light, rice perfect. The wine was reasonably priced, at £15, Sauvignon blanc Party of 4 with no booking. Not a problem. As said, the staff were lovely, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant

Wouldn't eat here again. Starter was dripping with dirty oil that desperately needed changed. Had tandoori king prawns for a main course. Prawns were tough and had to saw them, sauce was fine. Garlic bread was rank as well.

Fabulous food and excellent service. We were staying in the area and visited on a Sunday evening. Poppadoms best ever, naan excellent. Stand out dish for us was the Jeera lamb balti. Best food I've had in years. Thank you Chillies!

Was taken here for my birthday and food was good but felt rushed to eat and table cleared quickly would have been nice to feel more comfortable and less rushed

Got a takeaway from here whilst visiting Aberfeldy and I can honestly say this was the worst food I've ever had. I used to work in an Asian food wholesaler and visited many establishments. The poppadoms tasted of burnt oil. The spiced onions came in a bag that looked like minced beef. The chicken pakora was dry and over cooked, I'm not sure how old it was. The salad to go with the pakora was wilted and brown in the bag. The curry had a strange taste to it and the pilau rice was very wet and had something slimy and green mixed through it, possibly onion but it was so hard to tell. The garlic nan was dry and tough as old boots. Possibly made the day before. Biggest waste of almost £30 ever. Avoid!!

I had take away and was so so disappointed. The rice was okay, the Naan was also OK but the maindish the chicken.... .... the meat was tough and the sauces so so unbelievable sweet + I really would like yo know how the two chicken dishes got their colour because it couldn't have been from the spices as it tasted like they only used sugar to add to the chicken. Yeah never ever again.

This was probably the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been in. The chicken pakora was a strange texture. The carpet in the reception was that old it was shiny. Toilets were disgusting. One of our party had lamb tikka which couldn’t even be cut it was so tough. Never again

Very quiet place frendly but the food was average.

This was the worse Indian restaurant I have ever been in. Restaurant needs a huge clean. Toilet floor was so sticky your feet were sticking to it. As for the food absolutely disgusting. O e of us got lamb tickets. You couldn't even cut through it. Never again.

Enjoyed our meal here - chicken Capitan Patila (‘captain pot’?!) despite the made up name was very tasty and quite authentic too, the cauliflower side was nice if lacking a bit of masala, and bindi and the rice were good. Decent enough flavours at a decent price and worth a visit if you’re craving Indian food in Aberfeldy.

The restaurant was really cold I ate with my coat on. Complained but staff didn't seem to understand.

HOMOPHOBIC. I had the most amazing dinner here last year with friends. This year we came back- really looking forward to dinner - my boyfriend and I came in and were sent away with the man saying “fully booked” despite the restaurant being three quarters empty. We left and went to the pub opposite and anonymously phoned to ask to book a table and the man then told me over the phone that “any time” was absolutely fine to book because they could seat two any time I wanted. Made to feel very unwelcome. Stay well away.

When there for dinner with a work colleague . Looking for to our meal I ordered a curry had 2 mouthfuls . I seen a long hair . I shave my hair so definitely wasn't mine .Not wanting to put my colleague or anyone around me off their meal a sat never said anything until he was finished . Then I said to the staff working at the counter . He followed me to my table I showed him the hair he removed the plate . Few minutes later I went to pay the bill not even a apologies. What I tasted average food average service totally disappointed 100% won't be back and will tell all my work colleagues who are and have been working in area for months not to visit

Hands down thee worst outfit I’ve been to food was Barkin , bottle of cobra beer in a carling glass , chasni tasted like PEEKING sauce and Nan bread was like cardboard . Lamb was like a chewit . 3/10 for effort .

Every dish was excellent. Full of flavour. Staff were friendly and double checked our takeaway order for us before handing over. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

This restaurant never disappoints - we went on Friday night and had another excellent meal. We had a chicken palak and a Jalfrezi and both were terrific. As were the side dishes too. Good service and a very modest bill topped the night off. Keep up the good work guys, we will be back.

In aberfeldy for the weekend and decided to try chillies Indian restaurant for a takeaway. Lovely food and great service. Definitely recommend

Just awful. Picked up a takeaway. Impossible to eat any of it. The naan bread had a weird smell and an awful texture. The curry sauce had separated/curdled I dipped a piece of bread in it and it tasted dreadful. Just threw all of it in the bin.

Don't be fooled by the name this was an incredible meal. This was authentic Indian food and service . Staff Willington make reservations, good size portions

We gave Chillies a big order to take back to Kenmore. We neded it in separate bags for dropping off at our lodges. They were on it quickfire and it was ready in 30 minutes. The order was exactly right and all said the food was delicious. You have to collect though...there's no delivery service. I would heartily recommend Chillies!

My wife and I had dinner here last Sunday. Food was fantastic, starters and mains, beer and wine great. The service was excellent and the prices unbelievable. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I visited Chillies two years ago and once again, they were amazing. One in our party asked for extra spice and she loved it. The garlic naan was fragrant and buttery. My husband had the Ashanti chicken and it was divine. As always, the service was excellent.

I'm getting old and I have eaten a lot of curry. The lamb Naga from this restaurant was really up there with the best. Happy.

Had a chicken pakora starter which was deep fried, over cooked and the texture was like a coating of glass which was just a taste of things to come as the chicken tandoori was beyond horrible, with what looked like the bright white flesh of a tasteless boiled chicken painted with red food dye Without doubt the worst Indian food I have ever been served A couple of nights later we went to co-op for a microwave Indian and it was a much nicer experience

Well, what can I say. I can’t comment on the food but all I can comment on is the rude women at the front desk. Told myself and partner no more bookings for the night, yet straight after us gave a table to someone to come back in 30 mins. When I questioned this I was told she doesn’t need to explain herself to customers, she made 0 sense and raised her voice in a very aggressive manner. Extremely rude and unprofessional not accommodating at all.

My partner and I went herefor takeaway and cannot complain one bit! Price was as expected for two adults with sides and service was excellent. We ordered at 6:40 and they said it would be ready by 7. We went out for a walk and returned at 6:55 to make sure we were there and the food was brought out to us at exactly 7. No complaints about the food, portions were great. We had a korma and a Tikka Masala and both were really tasty and the chicken was cooked perfectly in them. Garlic naan was especially good

All 100 points. I tried Madras chilly lamb with steamed rice to go. It was very tasty, little sour to bring back your apetite and spicy and savory enough to be in a harmony with rice. I regretted that I had not ordered coconut rice. It would have been more good. 👍👍 thumbs up Cheers mate

Delicious meal at Chillies - a well-established family-run restaurant. We started with hot freshly-prepared crispy papadoms and home-made dips; followed by onion bhaji appetisers. For our main we had Balti Jeera Lamb (garnished with fresh green chillies at my request), served with pilau rice; alongside a butter chicken and large buttered naan. All dishes were served piping hot and were freshly prepared. A hot plate on the table kept the food warm throughout. Lito, his wife and team are great hosts. Lito is happy to recommend specials and adjust curries to suit your taste. I'll certainly return to sample other dishes from a full and varied menu. All in all an enjoyable evening and highly recommended.

We were stuff in traffic following a collision on the A9 so missed other dinner reservations. Chillies managed us at 9pm and away a very welcome surprise. It was incredibly tasty!
