Outstanding food. Freshness of ingredients and attention to detail in the cooking was clear in the taste. Delicious meal.

Sadly not the best curry we have had but staff were very pleasant. Tasteless, spicy and lacking season.

One of the best Indians I've had outside India. The curries are absolutely delicious, my favourite is the paneer masala. Garlic naan is delicious. My mum loves the fish curry and the fried Okra. Super nice and friendly staff. A must visit in Perth!

Friendly and attentive staff right after opening. Brought iced water to the table without asking which I feel is so polite. Delicious curries, highly recommend the fried Okra, korma and haggis naan. 10/10.

Very good experience and good value for money. The dishes are tasty and fresh. Special mention for the naans, very good. The service is also attentive and friendly. For vegetarians, very many options (still happy for an Indian restaurant :))

Impromptu meal and it was well worth the visit. The atmosphere, food and service (thank you to Tashi) was great. We would definitely return.

We’ve visited Tabla quite a few times over the years but that’s my last 2 birthdays we’ve dined there to celebrate. They look after you really well and this time we got a complimentary glass of Prosecco along with a lovely chocolate fudge cake with a candle in it. Once again it was a really nice touch and much appreciated. For food we had a mixed pakora platter to start with then shared a Makhani Masala with pilau rice. We also had a plain naan bread and everything was cooked to perfection as it always is. The staff at Tabla are really good and front of house Avi, looked after us really well. We even managed a chat with the owner Praveen who explained where we could buy his lovely curries locally which we can’t wait to try. Hopefully we will be able to make it up to Perth next year and visit this excellent restaurant once again 👌

Booked one week in advance for 8pm for 3 people. Got there a few minutes to 8. A table was being prepared, our table we thought. 4 people were given this table. We were told we would have to wait about 20minutes for a table. After pre booking this was a joke. I think our table was given to the four people who arrived just in front of us as there were 4 of them. Shocking for a restaurant to do this. If we were 20 minutes late, the restaurant wouldn't be best pleased. We were at this restaurant previously with our son who recently moved to Perth, and were making this a regular 'go to' when up visiting. I told the guy at the door we won't be back. We went to a similar restaurant and gave them our £92. And the hospitality and service there was excellent.

My wife and I visited Tabla this evening for the first time… actually disappointed with ourselves that we haven’t been before, we will be back for sure and would recommend Tabla to others to give a try if you haven’t before either. We had no reservation yet they ensured we were accommodated, Saturday night, weekend before Xmas a busy night but still they looked after us from the minute we walked in. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, but never overly that it was disruptive to our meal. The food…. Delicious, never have we ever tasted flavours like this.. thanks Tabla we will be back for sure!

Ordered the “tikka sharing starter for two” it was two bits of tikka, paneer and a bought in pre cooked sheek kebab, not a good start. Then we got our mains, my friends was way too spicy, mine was not enough. Our naan bread came out smelling like fish? Very strange smell to it. We left majority of it. The only things that was decent was the popadoms and pickle tray. It’s a shame because we got recommended by the locals but it was a disappointment.

Recently started a set menu from 16:00 so went along to try. Portions same as if we were ordering a la carte. You get rice or nan not both. If you want both you have to pay extra which is fair enough. By the time we added a couple of beers each we were £40 each including tip. Still good value and excellent food. We will be back.

Absolutely delicious food! Good vegetarian and vegan options,l opted for a mushroom dish .. beautiful!😋 We visited on a Thursday evening and we're lucky to get a table....shows how good a restaurant it is to be that busy on a "school night"! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Perth!

Service not very good as there was a large table in so everyone else had to wait ages. I was looking forward to a nice lamb curry but they had none left , even though it was only 8pm on a Friday. Decided to opt for a meal recommended by the waiter, which turned out to be far too hot and very powdery. Ended up leaving half of it. Doubt I'll be back!

Only ever had takeaway from here, BUT it's by far the best ever Indian food in perth. The quality of every dish, starter, and sides are exquisite. Great value, too. A must-have if you want Indian food

Excellent address in Perth. Friendly staff and an great and very varied menu. A unique fusion of Indian (and neighbouring countries) with Scottish ingredients. I was even busy on a Wednesday evening, so people really appreciate it. My curry (from Rajasthan) was spicy and flavoursome.

We were staying a few nights at Blairgowrie and had booked a visit to Scone Palace. When we finished we decided to Google a good local Indian restaurant and found Tabla. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious, the best haggis bon bons we've ever had and coming from the West we've ate our fair share. Thanks guys 👍

Lamb shank was very very salty.. the other dishes I've tried are amazing .. but was disappointed with the lamb shank. Think it was the sauce 😔 Anyway, great restaurant, but lamb shank needs a re-visit

Wow. Highly recommend! On a rainy Monday evening, exactly the rarity that one hopes to find: A superbly produced authentic Indian meal with excellent friendly service. Stunningly fresh, light, beautifully prepared (by hand, noticeable with first bite) onion chutney and mixed pickle with featherlight crisp poppadum. An accompanying glass of Sauvignon Blanc one could swear was made expressly for this starter, a magical combination. My servers were Shamir, Oliver, Lachlann: each was casually informative, friendly, and continued excellent service throughout the meal to closure. This alone makes a return worthwhile: amazing meal, plus amazing help, pretty rare everywhere in the world. As a professional chef myself, I am deeply appreciative of the effort, energy, talent, and selections. (Not your usual predictable curry house!) Tandoori chicken in creamy tomato sauce and exquisitely tender lamb with turnip greens (highly recommended by Shamir) were superb over fluffiest pilau. A gem of a find, not to miss. I plan to be a regular. Thank you for an amazing finish to dreich Monday!

Had a window table for 2 on a Saturday night and the food was great. Great service and reasonable prices. Menu a bit different from a standard Indian restaurant but all dishes tasted great.

Oliver greeted us as soon as we entered by giving us a clean table. The food we ate really had the flavors of India. We had pakora as a starter, biriani rice and lamb as a main course. Shahmir was very kind and helpful in requests for information on the various dishes! Advised!!

Ordered an appetizer portion of the chicken tikka, brought out a “main”. Not sure if that was a miscommunication but I was pretty clear in my order. Waitress seemed indifferent to us and curious, all other tables were given a complimentary app except us (I am certain the entire restaurant did not order paladins!). Wonder why? Because we didn’t order drinks?!

My family and I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. We came in and immediately felt as though we were family. Our server gave us some samples of food they wanted us to try and we chatted for hours with the team here. The food was incredible but the hospitality and passion they have around food and having folks enjoy their meal is priceless. Having this meal and sharing it with the team at Tabla was a highlight of our trip. And as an India family traveling from the states on vacation it felt like a little piece of home. Thank you!

Came for dinner for the second time and had a really lovely night. We had the dahi puri, okra, and haggis bon bons for starters which were all delicious. I had the paneer makhani which was really tasty and a huge portion and mango lassi was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is really cosy and nice. Will definitely be back!!

Very busy evening in the restaurant probably due to the horse racing. Food and service was excellent. As I had sore eyes they were very happy to give me some cucumber from the kitchen to help me out as the shops were closed. Thank you

To be fair our experience may have been influenced by two big groups that were in at the time of our visit. There was not a lot open around Perth on a Tuesday, they was very busy but we were squeezed in. The fish pakoras were really good but I felt a little disappointed by the main meal.

Haven’t visited in a long time and after tonight not sure why. Was such a great evening from when we walked in the door until we left. Have to give it up to Oliver he did help make the night was such a great server just what was needed when you are out for the evening. Other than Oliver the food was great very tasty. From starter to desert everything was just what you would want and will be back before heading home. It’s just a gem that keeps giving the welcome is great the service is what you want and at the end they do not want to rush you out. You have to visit if you live in Perth or visiting it’s what we all need to start the weekend off with a smile

Wow wow wow what a fantastic meal my son treated me to tonight. I had a masala it was so tasty, the mixed pakora was 1st class and the sauce with it was I'd say the best I've tasted. Wish I'd remembered to take pictures before starting our meals, we my son and I will definitely be going back. Without thinking I'd mention to the manager my son was treating me to the meal as part of my 65th birthday and to my surprise the manager gifted me a nice bottle of wine..

Great curry! And Lochlan was a great waiter at the top of his game 10/10; give this guy a raise and a brand new card machine; professionals can't work with amateur equipment. We'll be back for sure!

Great food, great service and great venue

My partner and I really enjoyed the Valentine’s Day set menu! I’m a coeliac and a pescatarian and the staff were so accommodating and lovely, really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was warm, softly lit and the music wasn’t too loud - perfect for a date night. Can’t wait to go back!

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was pleasant and food came out quickly. The food was delicious, the paneer butter masala was absolutely fantastic, the best one I've had in Tayside. Prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the food- absolutely worth a visit!

Really friendly team and welcoming to walk ins. The menu has a dedicated vegetarian/ vegan section which is amazing for those with dietary requirements. The food is some of the best Indian food I've tasted, very flavoursome and good portions - I would highly recommend this place - 10 / 10 Thanks guys.

Couple of hiccups in our service but was addressed appropriately by owner. These things happen sometimes but did not have an effect on what turned out to be a lovely meal of good quality food.

It’s mental that a restaurant in the 21st century doesn’t accept payment online - would help if they were able to answer calls to pay over the phone.

Had the 24 hour Biryani. Awesome. No other word to describe. Tabla always delivers.

Delicious take-away with lovely authentic flavours, but vegetarian options are expensive considering they don't have meat in them. I consider £9.99 for vegetable jalfrazi and £10.99 for a vegetable biryiana a little too much, but it did taste good.

Amazing little buzzing restaurant! Make a table reserveration! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with the menu! The food was amazing and quickly on the table! As weird as it may sound but you have to try the haggis starter dish (Haggis Bonda), they were amazing.

Fantastic meal from the guys food first class l everything spot on .we were out for my wife's 50th birthday and the guys surprised her with a birthday cake and the guys singing too her well done 👏 ✔️

We ordered their £20 special early bird dinner. Taste was okay, but not worthy. If I had reviewed the dinner menu, I would go for their dinner menu instead. BTW, they sent us double portions of nan/rice and charged us for them. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he refused to fix it!!

Amazing tasty authentic Indian food and great service. If you looking for authentic Indian curry taste then this is the best restaurant in Scotland. Staff is very polite and great hospitality. All food was very good and Bombay masala Chai/tea was the best!!

Have eaten here mostly in restaurant, we hsd a takeaway this time, disappointed , Pakoras were greasy, Nan was not nice, and our curries were mostly sauce , and mostly tasted of Tamarind . not the usual quality we expected..

Fantastic service and food. Mentioned to our waiter that it was my Fiancé’s birthday and he treated us to a mini bottle of Prosecco which absolutely made her day. I’m not normally a fan of Indian food but absolutely loved it. Will 100% be back.

Need to book the table in advance well because the food is so awesome that the place is quite popular. All the staff were amazing and work with a smile even though place was extremely busy. And I have to mention Avi, he is just tremendous at doing his job.

In Perth for 2 days for work and came here both days. Food was perfect and staff were lovely. Especially recommend the potato patties starter and the aubergine and potato curry.

The food here is wonderful!! We went without a reservation and were able to get a table but they were very busy so a reservation would be a good idea! The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was so, so good. Our favourites were the pani puri (so much flavour, such great textures, a must order) and the aloo gobi. We loved that the vegetarian dishes were able to be ordered in half sizes so we could try more things!

What a find!! 👏 Tabla is an unassuming restaurant you could pass by easily but I'm so glad we stopped by. The award winning curries we chose were out of this world and the Sai & the team were so polite & attentive. Wish we had obe in Glasgow!!

We were very lucky that we arrived so early and the friendly waiter immediately offered us a small table. There was a lot reserved about what I would receive after today's visit. We immediately got ice water with lemon and the cards. Very attentive, friendly service and delicious food. I would give this 6 stars if I could. Everything was super tasty with fresh ingredients. The portions are very generous and really tasty.

An Indian food saviour, had a heart content full indian dinner after a long travel and living on jus breads. The person managing is also an Indian from Rajasthan India, he's very Pally and has treated us heartfully. The food is too good, this place has a good name around too.

Everything was perfect! We took Murgh Pakora and Murgh Tikka in main course. It was really good, tasty. Size is great

A delightful Indian restaurant in Perth, with halal meat (apart from the Haggis), interesting selection of starters and decent main courses, portion sizes won't disappoint. Mango lassi was outstanding, thick and luscious, great vegetarian options as well which were very tasty. Chicken and lamb all freshly cooked so that was excellent. Service was good and responsive. You can also choose to have things mild or spicy.
