The attitude of the owner/manager was not appreciated at all. We walked in during a snow storm for some warmth and to grab a hot drink and use the WC. He started asking us what we want even before we could properly enter. When asked for a menu, he smirked and mentioned that we should say what we want and he will try to make it. We ordered a cup of Indian chai and it was not even close. 3.50 GBP for a glass of flavored brown milk is unwarranted. We had to ask him if it was okay to have the tea seated near the counter atleast. Another observation was an old lady who walked in and wanted to use their washroom. He wouldnt let her leave without ordering something. It was freezing cold outside, we expect some humanity rather than looking at people as money machines. I understand you have a business to run but it wont make a huge difference if someone wants to use your washroom considering how bad the weather was. This is a Bangladeshi restaurant using the Indian name to attract customers

Really good Indian food available. Stopped on the way on our bus tour, they were able to get our tour bus only stopped for 30min in this spot. They customized the order as per our requirements (tandoor chicken, Indian Madras spicy gravy and roti) and we were able to finish dinner within 30min, on time for bus to leave. Would definitely visit again to enjoy other food options here.

We visited for a nice dinner on Diwali Night and went to an Indian restaurant as we wanted to have vegetarian food. The first red flag was the menu had like 5 vegetarian options and they had not a single paneer dish. Scotland has really really good Indian vegetarian food so this was very surprising. Second red flag was when we decided to order small plates the server blatantly told us we have ordered next to nothing. One item we want to highlight is the Aloo Chaat. We assumed aloo chaat would be a spicy cooked potato topped with green and tamarind chutney with some chopped onions and tomatoes. what we were served was a kind of a wrap with potato sabji (stiry fry) filled in. It looked like a weird take on a samosa. All in all avoid the place if you can.

Terrible customer service and all round unprofessional. We ordered a take out from this restaurant using their own website's menu, which we later found out is advertised lower in price than what they are charging. When I complained about this, having been charged £11.20 more than we should have(!), the restaurant would not refund this amount. Instead they ignored my complaint and the manager was too cowardly to call me back. I can see from online reviews they have also done this to other customers. This is an untrustworthy business. I would not recommend to anyone. The food was overly oily and greasy, too.

We had a family weekend in Pitlochry to see the Enchanted Forest. We fancied a takeaway, but to get 13 of us to agree on what to get, we ended up getting meals from three separate restaurants. Option one was the Prince of India. It is a nice restaurant with a good range of Asian Cuisine. Prices were not particularly cheap but big portions, and we enjoyed our meal. Our telephone order was ready at the agreed time, and the service was good.

Starter was ok but a lamb tikka shouldn’t be so greasy..the place will be busy just cos it’s Pitlochry ..the hunt for a decent tikka masala continues 😊

This establishment is in between car park and Atholl Road (Main Street) . 99% of the people visiting Pitlochry will be passing this place as first „restaurant” or even first choice. Service is absolutely awful, this is not a place where you will experience Scottish hospitality. By walking in you feel like intruder rather than a guest. Food, I’ve been in a few Indian restaurants in central belt ( Glasgow - Edinburgh) and food was much better tasting and served on the plate. I’ve made two visits in here in one go - first and last one. I’ll stay with fresh made Scottish cuisine on the Atholl Road in Pitlochry. Food wasn’t even worth to take pictures.

Average food no complaints about that, place is in need of renovation very grotty, rips in carpets, toilets need a deep clean, whole place needs painting dirty marks and prints all around, dirty hot plates needed cleaning.

Ordered the “tikka sharing starter for two” it was two bits of tikka, paneer and a bought in pre cooked sheek kebab, not a good start. Then we got our mains, my friends was way too spicy, mine was not enough. Our naan bread came out smelling like fish? Very strange smell to it. We left majority of it. The only things that was decent was the popadoms and pickle tray. It’s a shame because we got recommended by the locals but it was a disappointment.
