Finally made time to visit sycamore cafe and the wait was well worth it, location couldn’t be better in the centre of Corbridge ( parking takes coins not card) we went for the £12 lunchtime special, Lebanese chicken wrap and a falafel wrap, truffle Parmesan chips as a extra 3.50, food is hot and cooked perfect served with salad and house coleslaw, you also get pudding chocolate brownie (hot) with ice cream and absolutely delicious little bits of chewy fudge. In the price you can have a 125ml glass of wine or a half of cruzcampo or a soft drink or a coffee americano I think it was, the quantity and quality of food you get is excellent value for money. A big mention to our host Helen who was very friendly chatty and very polite, she made our lunchtime very relaxed, so thank you Helen. If you’ve not been please try you won’t be disappointed

First visit to Sycamore and won't be the last. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband had the stack burger and I had the special offer lunch for £12. This included a drink, Caesar Salad and chocolate brownie. The salad had a lot of chicken in it. Perhaps a little more sauce but overall excellent. Service seemed slow but food arrived quickly once order was taken. The special offer lunch is available until end of February.

Lovely family lunch. Good quality food presented very nicely. Good value too. Felt very welcome with friendly staff and good service. We sat upstairs at a table near the bay window. Great decor and a lovely space to spend some time. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great lunch. Newly decorated and very welcoming ( loved the wood used for some of the seating). Staff were lovely. I had a Falafel wrap and stole a few of my other half's proper chunky chips. I had the delicious raspberry cheesecake and a spoonful of his sticky toffee pud (very nice). I've got my eye on a sharing platter for next time.

I visited Sycamore with my two friends for dinner and WOW!... the food was absolutely delicious and amazing quality!! The menu is amazing with a nice variety of small plates & main dishes. The service was very professional and the staff had a very good knowledge of the food and drink. The restaurant itself has been recently renovated and looks gorgeous, with a lovely warm & cosy feel. I will defiantly be recommending Sycamore to my friends & family and cannot wait to return!

Visited for lunch and WOW! Service was amazing and so were the sandwiches. Can’t wait to try more of what they offer! We had the fish dinger sandwich, Italian and Lebanese Chicken. All the sandwiches had fantastic flavours. Also great selection of drinks behind the bar.

The Sycamore is newly opened after an amazing refurbishment. We went for lunch and can’t wait to try breakfast, dinner & of course Sunday lunch. The food for was great with a lovely varied menu. The 3 of us opted for speciality sandwiches, Lebanese Chicken, Fish Finger & Italian Club and they really are special - great flavours and well presented, the chunky chips are real chips ie not frozen. Next time we go for lunch we’ll share a sandwich…they’re big and I really want to have room for desert.

Sports screens, sometimes live music, large choice of beer and spirits. No food just snacks.

We just went for drinks so no food rating but would definitely go back to sample the menu another time - we just stopped in for drinks before dinner… and then after dinner the next day as well. The atmosphere is fab and the setting is really cool, you can really see where the old cellars would have been. The staff were friendly, service was fast, and there is a great selections of wines and cocktails - great date night location

Fantastic overnight getaway at this fab boutique hotel, nestled in the lovely leafy suburb of Stockbridge in Edinburgh. Sumptious room, impeccably presented. Extremely comfortable bed. Dinner was top drawer Pumpkin hummus, smoked mackerel pate followed by a super delicious steak and mushroom pie Very restful sleep, a lovely long walk around the nearby Botanical Gardens and then a delicious breakie as pictured. Excellent coffee with real freshly squeezed oj. I don't recommend places often, but can recommend The Raeburn with confidence
