Definitely a must visit for a piece of Bradford’s history and the nostalgia. Great mix grills and classic seekh kebabs and samosas. Thank you all for the warm family feel establishment.

Not happy, gave me a half burnt seek kebab for Take out. Used to be good, since they start being tight with the mint sauce they’ve gone down hill.

Amazing food great service love the history will definitely come back been coming for many years. The best in the UK never dissapoints if your local to the vicinity and you've not tried this gem of place I can assure your missing out

I recently came here with a few friends to eat out and would say that the food was delicious, the strawberry cheese cake was amazing as well as the staff were friendly and took care of us.

I came to the restaurant with my younger brother (we are regular customers) and we loved the food and service, and i would highly recommend the new icecream menu to anyone as they have a variety of flavours to choose from

Top class food from the Sweet Centre Restaurant the main restaurant side samasos and Kebabs were awesome if your looking from an Authentic Curry this is the place to go. I also ordered an iftari box which was a great gift for my friends. Thank you once again will most definitely come back

Fantastic food would highly recommend. especially if your looking for a good authentic curry brings back so many memories all at a reasonable price. Have been coming to the Sweet Centre Restaurant (Main Restaurant Side) for many years with my family and wouldn't go anywhere else. My favourite dish was the balti chicken, and I loved the Ferrero Rocher cheesecake. Thank you to all the wonderful staff it was 10 out of 10

Absolutely homely atmosphere, real feel of Kashmir in this historic place where so many generations sacrificed their lives for hospitality! Established in 1964 , still run by grandsons of one of the founders. Hosts are beyond great and so passionate about life and culture that the experience was something truly special.

3 star, they need to start taking Card Payments. Its a big inconvenience. Quality of standard seems to have dropped too over the years.

We ordered 4 different dishes all where dry and tasteless the service was average not somewhere we would go again

Hosted our 2nd Grange School Class of 98 reunion meal and did not disappoint in any way!! Waqar and his team were amazing and accommodating from the moment I contacted them to organise it. The food was absolutely amazing, and I've got to say them starters should have been the only item on the vast menu they prepared for us. The chops were out of this world, and the charcoal chicken tikka legs were to die for. Every item on the menu was outstanding. Thank you for making out reunion meal amazing. Can't wait to come back (maybe on my own between now and the next reunion meal). Authentic South Asian cuisine.

Really liked the starters the chops were a bit salty but the rest of the starters were spot on. The main course was a 5/5 the lamb, chicken, fish Karahi’s hit the spot the dhal and keema were spot on and the rass malai was spot on. This restaurant really needs a visit it’s a underrated gem of Bradford.

Reasonable and serviceable food . We ordered tonight mix starter, two balti dishes and rotis/naan. Sweet centre is just old desi style food. No fuss or frills. Overall good and nothing to complain about. Menu is quite limited but it's fine. ** 3.0/5

If you love those "traditional" chicken masala flavours from way back, then you must check this place out. I used to come here many, many years ago and always got that authentic "Bradford" curry flavour experience, but moved away until recently. I'm really glad I decided to visit to see if the meal was up to my youthful memory. The food/flavours were just the same as I remember, that is, wonderful blast from the passed. The chefs of today use their grandfather's recipes from 1964. No need to change when you have achieved virtual perfection. Absolutely beautiful, quality curries here. I must return..

Visited mid-afternoon Saturday 3rd February. Quiet and able to be seated on arrival. Very helpful staff who gave advice on dishes we were unfamiliar with and made us feel welcome. A reasonable number of other dinners came before we left along with a reasonable number of people using the take out service. The location is a little out of the city centre however it is well worth the effort to travel as the food was genuinely delicious, the staff are real professionals and I would have no hesitation recommending the Sweet Centre to anyone looking to eat Indian in the Bradford area.

Went for breakfast but really disappointed by the taste. I think their chef never tasted chanas from anywhere else , anyone can cook at home much better than this.

We ordered Ribs for the first time I was NOT disappointed at all they were THE BEST I’ve EVER had. Top marks to Chef Waqas for the brilliant food and his amazing staff

Went there for breakfast, it was horrible, channa was watery and tasteless, tea was cold and horrible never again, staff even worse, no napkins, a horrible experience never again!!!

busy breakfast centre…been coming here for years for channa puri.. they changed the channa..it used to taste really nice not a big fan of new taste. its still nice to visit this place for samosa’s and tea sometimes.

Me and my family have been coming here for years. Unfortunately we moved away years ago, but i still try to get in now and then for breakfast or dinner takeaway. It's consistently delicious and i wish it was closer to my house.

Best Pakistani Breakfast Fast, Good and Cheap

Very poor service and quality of food. The chana were bland, the halwa lacked flavour and the puris were too greasy. The Parathas were not made properly. They were rotis with a bit of oil on. A real poor show. To top it all the delivery guy was not only late he didn't have the correct change. Maybe they were half asleep in the morning. I won't be ordering from them again.

GRTTC -The old places are still the best. You can’t beat tradition and good food.

I only ever have there samosas and hands down probably the best in the UK

Paye were at least 3-4 days old, puri was too much oily chai was made off powder milk paid 26£ for 2 people but it wasn’t worth it because the food didn’t had any taste. Paye tasted ridiculous.

Been coming here for 50 years. The seekh kebabs are still my favourite and the best in Leeds and Bradford. I not happy with new seating plan. Only two people can sit together. So not family or group friendly as before, no plain water in a jug or glass available. That was also a bit of a shock for a islamic business. Pani b nee dayta!

I ordered a meal which i must say was nice but when i lifted the third chapati from the plastic chapati basket i was nearly sick. It obviously hadn`t been washed for a long time.

Fantastic tasty breakfast. Slightly crispy but soft puris paired with spicy, saucy chickpeas. We all enjoyed it immensely. Makes a big change from the usual fare. Slightly pricey but the quality was excellent.

Proper old school Bradford. Delicious with kind, helpful service. Worth travelling for.

Been going here since I was 9.. 15p it was for a somosa back then when I used to catch the bus opposite the shop. 43 years on its still the only place I go when I need my somosas & kabab fix 😀

Puri chana halwa could be lot better. Got into this shop mistakenly. The other sweet centre on the corner serves better portions and taste. No offense! Only good thing was sitting space!

Wow.. still the best food & has been for years…amazing traditional food & the waiter was very attentive.

Been coming to the Sweet Centre on and off since the late seventees and it still tastes as good now as it did then . The chappaties are still fantastic . The only thing that has changed are the prices as it is now quite expensive

A brilliant way to start the day. Food delivery was exceptionally fast, the pooris, chana and kebab absolutely delicious (and even better - they come at a bargain price). Would definitely go again!

This place is overrated. Tiny dirty tables, booths only (cannot sit many), and the price for a tiny bowl of beans and Naan was £4.50, overpriced. In addition not allowed to pay by card. The waiters don't even bring the food to you. You have to collect your order from the till, very inconvenient. I was still hungry after eating there and had to eat again elsewhere with better service and clean tables. Vastly overrated. It was definitely not worth the long walk (20 minutes), from Bradford town centre. Will not return.

I went here today for the first time and ordered for the samosa chaat and seekh kababs but i want to share the experience that samosa chaat wasn’t that great because samosa wasn’t that good and the seekh kebabs wasn’t great though, kebabs wasn’t cooked perfectly and was taste-less.very disappointed with the taste and wouldn’t recommend who knows the tastes best. And also the sitting isn’t that great was quite tight and only for 2 people if i am not wrong. Every body has their own choice but its my opinion.

It is one of the best curry houses around. Unfortunately, it's been closed for the last few weeks due to a water leak.

Wonderful breakfast… we loved the puris and chana! Food was brilliant. The owner was very friendly and helpful and we will definitely return. Not expensive at all… I don’t understand why anyone would say that? Highly recommended!

Just wasn’t authentic at all and was very expensive for Bradford prices, desi breakfast with halwa 4 puris and chickpeas curry plus a desi tea fir £7.50 and it was double the amount almost £14!! I wish it was nice enough but a complete let down

Just went for breakfast first time after listenining a lot about this food point. But disappointment. For eat in you have a to take everything on your table and one by one. Come on have a tray and put everything there 🙁. Food was so so. Tables were dirty around my table. So Unchi Dukan Pekha pakwan. First and last time here. Sorry.

Really poor service, waited over an hour for just halwa pori. That wasn’t even good. Won’t recommend.

Very nice seekh kebab meaty juicy not too overpowering with the masala / spice. Naan tasty fresh and gulab jamun fluffy fresh

Service seems to have gone down a bit since last visit, together with food quality. No salad with full meals, forgot drinks, and naan very doughy. Was a good place to visit but not sure if I'll come back anytime soon.

CAN I JUST MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THIS REVIEW IS FOR SWEET CENTRE AND NOT THE RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR. If I had the option to give zero or better still minus stars, I would have. Service is non existent, in fact atrocious is by far an understatement. If you're a female, they allow you to queue jump. Mint sauce is absolutely priceless because you're not going to get any with your food. The seating layout is diabolical if there's more than 2 people eating in your group. I could go on forever and still would have more to say. BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE, ME, MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN. WHAT A DISGRACEFUL LET DOWN OF A PLACE THAT HAD A VERY HIGH REPUTATION.

Been going for years and take clients often. Food is always on point, the place could do with an over haul inside but it's nothing when food and service are good. Any complaints are addressed and extra attention is paid to clients needs. Friendly, polite and family orientated business. Can't beat that old school mentality. Can be a little short staffed but we'll worth the odd few minutes when the food is spot on.

Prices have gone through the roof. I have been coming to sweet centre for last 30 years but they just can't justify current prices. Everything now is an extra (like chutney) I definitely would not recommend. Food quality has dropped too.

Meat biryani was appalling. Pretty sure it was Mutton, not lamb. Been frequenting sweet centre since god was a lad, but this was the worst meal I've had there. I fancied a change of meal, but was let down. Won't stop me going, but won't have that again.

This place will always be special for all the memories I have over the past 15years. As always the foods still great and the service was top.

1 chicken khari and 1 khari Gosht both excellent but the meat dish was a little fatty. Chappies were perfect. Will I go again? Definitely.

One word to describe this place, Impeccable, The Food especially Lamb on the bone tasted so delicious, it melted in my mouth, I am definitely going back there for the food, the scenery was a bit old fashioned however, nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia, taking it back to the older days, as well as the food and the scenery, the service, do not listen to other reviews regarding this based on other reviews, we are all human and can become fatigued especially as the night goes on, the waiters are all amazing, they conversated and provided a service which I can not fault, everything was dealt with in a swift manner ensuring me and my guests were happy upon entering and leaving. Definitely give this place a try if you have not. 9/10 Overall

With 2 friends we had an early evening curry on a Tuesday. This is good, simple tasty good and great value. Finished off with sweets and desi chai. Yum.

This is definitely my favourite restaurant in West Yorkshire. Really tasty food! Jalebi was spot on, tea was excellent- just the perfect Karachi chai. The food was really nice as well. I’ve been here twice already and would go any day!

Meat cooked so tender and subtly spiced. Excellent naan. The mixed starters are large portions. The service was very attentive, but unobtrusive.

Only gave it a1 star so I could give it a review, this restaurant’s standards have dropped that low that I will never waste my money again there, from starter to main it was all bad, the cutlery had dried food on it and we left most of the food which is something that no body can afford to do with cost of living. We tried telling the manager about the food but he wasn’t interested, mumbled things change, all he was bothered about was taking the payment. Overcooked yesterday dried and hard starters are one thing but the meat in the main was cut into very small pieces and every piece had fat on it which made it impossible to eat, I won’t go on to describe the rest of the food but I will say if you want to throw your money away and waste your time then go to the sweet centre restaurant.

Went to this restaurant, the food was absolutely amazing ! You must try the lovely lamb on the bone and nihaari.
