Food was not up to usual standard. 1 of the meal went straight in the bin. Disappointing

We had a keema handi tonight & it was soooooooooo good ..... large container, so there was plenty for 2 people ..... fab service as always..... food was hot & had just the right amount of spice..... 👍 would highly recommend ........

This was not a madras looked more like korma , the food was inedible was so so spicy way too spicy all I could taste was curry powder so bad

Horrible experience, I order food from here often n its alright usually. This time i had guests over who were vegetarian, and upon ordering pea pulao we got horrible tasteless rice with undercooked peas just tossed into the rice. Poor quality of samosa chaat and daal as well. Safe to say not ordering or eating from there again. If u can’t make anything just dont accept the order.

Well Over A Hour Late!!! Again!!! Terrible Delivery Service. Delivery Always, Always has to be on Khalids Terms, No Regard for the Customer. Sometimes far too early, Sometimes far far too Late, Sometimes Cancel altogether, but Always what suits Khalids & Khalids Drivers Best! Let’s be clear, No Issues with the Food. The Food is Excellent, Always! But Absolutely No Respect for the Customers or their Requirements. After being your Customer for Many Many Months and Spending Hundreds of ££££ it’s time to say “Goodbye Khalids.” The Food was Brilliant but your Customer Service is and continues to be Awful and Disrespectful. There are other very Good Restaurants that value their Customers, deliver at the customer’s convenience that will now have Our Future Business.

I had Afghani chicken...so delicious, succulent chicken. Enough for a leftover in the morning too! Khalid's is the best place locally...quality.

As ever, I had an amazing time with my entire family eating here, the food was absolutely incredible and cooked to perfection, all the staff were so warm and welcoming, amazing interior and atmosphere for a lovely meal with loved ones. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend! A big shoutout to the talented and funny chef, Nabeel, who made our time particularly worthwhile!!!

This place is stuck in a time warp! It felt like we had gone back to the eighties. Tired decor, lazy 80s menu and devoid of any atmosphere. I say that the menu is lazy because every other menu in Indian restaurants has moved on with more traditional, exciting flavours and vibrant dishes. This place is still doing the old Madras/Vindaloo slop FFS! Decor in modern Indian food restaurants is much more appealing and welcoming. This is the stereotypical 80s decor, no change. The only saving grace is that, at least, it didn't have 70s flock wallpaper. The carpet definitely needs a clean. As for the food, well it was not bad but not anything to excite the taste buds either. I would not refuse to eat it but I would not go out of my way to eat it either. Below is what we ordered and marks out of ten in brackets There were three of us and for starters we ordered lamb chops -6, meat samosas-9 and meat seekh kebabs-2. The seekh kebabs were obviously warmed up in the microwave for too long, tough and chewy. For mains we ordered Meat balti-7. tasted ok Meat Peshawari-5. Was a bit sweet tbh. Tandoori roti-5. Tasted very much like a nan, sadly. Pilau rice-7 Chips -9. Excellent home cut and cooked chips. It says something when the best thing we ate at an Indian restaurant was chips!!! The service was good to be fair but that was probably because for most of the time we were the only customers. Sadly, despite the service, I cannot recommend this place to anyone and I am highly unlikely to go again. One final point...... The card machine is, lo and behold, broken down🙄. So cash or bank transfer only. The bank transfer was to a business account, to be fair.

I ask for mild again and it always come extremely hot. Came really early which on this occasion was annoying. Upset my stomach too. Won’t use again.

Normally really good from here but this time was awful. Full or greasy orange liquid and only a tiny amount of chicken in dish. Probably won’t use again

We got a takeaway for 4. It took a long time to get here but when it arrived. Oh my word! Enough for 8 if not 12! Portions are huge. Madras super hot and perfect. Masala chips, enough for 4 people! Huge rice portions and everything super tasty. We have about half of it left in fridge for tomorrow. Super full and super content. Highly recommended.

Ordered again!!!! after I’d say 8 years maybe more of ordering from them for home delivery, been into restaurant twice. The food is amazing!! Forget shimla how does Khalid’s not win the award for best restaurant in town? Chicken tikka masala is the best around by far. Afghani is awesome too Keep doing what you’re doing!!!!! On our previous visit this place was buzzing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. This visit was completely different. When we arrived at 7 on Friday evening there was just one other couple in the place. In spite of there being draught beer taps up on the bar, no beer was available on tap. What a disaster! We were looking forward to our return visit, but were very disappointed. It appears to me that this place is being driven into the ground and will shortly close. What a great loss that would be for Keighley.

Fantastic food once again. Was sent a side portion of my Dahl Piaz instead of a main but a call to the restaurant and they sent a replacement which came within 20 minutes, thank you Khalids for sorting that. This is our go to curry house. Amazing food, great sized chapattis and rotis. Have to say the best around and their customer service is impeccable.

Love this place, not just for service,but the food is excellent & the best take away food we’ve had & we’ve tried most of them in the area. So glad we found it. The portions are so big we get curry tonight & then again tomorrow 👍🏼

Fantastic curry, nowt else to be said

Called in after a visit to the steam railway over the road. I ordered a Chicken Pathia and Peshwari naan, my usual meal and I thought I knew what to expect. The bowl was enormous, the flavour amazing. Unlike our local restaurants which I now realise serve chunks in a sauce this was very different, the chicken more shredded and overall more like a thick stew. So good I won’t be able to order here next time. The naan was good too, and unlike any other naan I’ve had didn’t go cold and hard as it’s served under a fabric cover which keeps in the eat. Soft until the last piece - inspired! It’s easy to say best curry but this was certainly up there with the very best curries I’ve ever had. Excellent!

Quality food, great service, usually order to deliver but collected today, arrived 10 mins early & had to wait 10 mins! Not a bad point for me, just means my order was cooked ,fresh ,for on time. Love it

This is the first time we have used this take out we struggle to get a nice curry …. But I have to say we will defiantly be ordering again from khalids Desi it was full of flavour and so so tasty piping hot and delivered on time …. We will be ordering again and recommending to others also 👍👍

I had the Sag Aloo and I have to say it was one of the best curry’s I’ve ever had, and Iv had plenty over the years and in all different parts of the uk. I would have given five stars but for the fact the room was somewhat cold, so therefore gave four ⭐️ stars.

Been eating curry for over 40 years and this is the best curry house. Kashmir in Bradford was always number one but it's gone downhill over the past few years. Khalid Desi is superb

What an absolutely amazing restaurant the soup is absolutely to die for. The different flavours in All the dishes the fish falls to pieces in your mouth. It always arrives hot even the chips .I wouldn't get from anywhere else in town now . Keep up the great work ,

I've previously given this resteraunt five stars, unfortunately paying £25 for a meal for one with no free chapatis and £14 for one main course is is getting rediculous. The worst part is the complete lack of salt completely ruined this meal.

For food quality we gave five stars but if you're having a vindaloo, you may give 'blown away' as it certainly was! Restaurant service had to give stars even though didn't actually attend as seems to be a mandatory part of this review? We have been before and that was some time ago so don't know if still valid so given four stars. For a delivery, unsure how we would rate this with stars more than three, as is a bit subjective on your needs at the time. Have we been to the restaurant before? Yes! Would we go again? Yes! Have we ordered a delivery before? Yes! Would we order again? Yes!
