Shimla Spice Restaurant in Bradford

Had a lovely meal here last night with my friend. Ibby was really helpful and our food was delicious!

My first time but not my last. I trusted the waiter to recommend a dish for me. A lovely desi meat dish which was fantastic. Chapattis served in a tea towel to keep warm. Very happy!

Lovely restaurant, delicious food & fantastic staff who always go the extra mile. We get Shimlas delivery but when at the restaurant I ask for a recommendation & it’s always amazing. Best curry in the area 😍

The best desi vegtarian curry I have experienced in the UK. Friendly and fast service. Highly recommended.

The service was quick, I opted for a fish curry, it was very tasty and done perfectly. Car park at the rear of the restaurant. An extensive range of Non alcoholic drinks available. The only criticism I could call was that the staff were dressed appropriately but the manager was casually dressed.

A great place to eat. Weve had many celebrations at the Shimla. Hope for lots more to come. The fish curries are amazing.

Very good food and fabulous staff. Loads of choices and very good vegetarian options too. Many different styles and wonderful side dishes too. And can't forget the amazing family sized naan breads too! Always a delight to visit here. Can see why they've won many awards. An asset to Keighley town

Not tried the Keighley restaurant yet but been to Shipley several times and always impressed with the service and the food!

Went Christmas Day which was the first time they had done this.Fantastic service.Brillant food as always.Staff very friendly and attentive to every one.Will be back soon as we all love a good curry made by great people.Atmosphere lovely and good location and good for parking too.

Eaten in here a few times and occasionally have takeaways. Excellent food and service would highly recommend.

Excellent service, got a spicy one and couldn’t stop panting all night but it tasted great. Had to order some glasses of milk to calm myself down, but other than that excellent service as always!

£48 for 2 starters and 2 mains which were vile, once a good curry house but will never set foot in the place again.

Average food kebabs looked like refried 2 times all rest was nice.

The food at Shimla Spice in Keighley has really gone down in quality in the last year. It’s gone from dishes having distinct flavours to all being a generic curry, oily and non-descript. This has been the case the last few times I’ve ordered. Given how prices have increased a lot, I need to remember not to order from there anymore.

Had the Desi Chicken Kahrai and it was delicious. I'm glad I chose medium heat as it was just the right spice for me. Large portions so I left full. The mushroom rice was very nice. Lovely atmosphere, music, lights and mirrors. Staff were kind, friendly and attentive if a little quiet (I'm a bit deaf).

Had the veg starter for 2, vegetable makhani, chicken tikka Naga and a family nan,it's the best food I've ever eaten,the size of the portions were big,the quality of ingredients were a1 the flavours were stunning,guys you have to try their food you won't regret it...10 out of 10

2nd time in a row ordered a takeaway and some items were missing. Refused to come back and deliver and could not do a refund of missing items as paid on card. They said I could come and collect it which defeats the object of ordering a delivery. Won't use again, really poor short sighted customer service

Shimla is hands down the best Asian restaurant in an area of many Asian restaurants. I’ve been coming for years and they’ve always been spot on and made good recommendations on their menu (I’m not an “always pick the same” type of guy) Can’t praise Shimla enough. Top work boys.

Shimla Spice have the finest curry in town. Their knowledgeable staff are consistently available to offer expert guidance when it comes to selecting the perfect dish. While we initially frequented the Shipley branch and loved it, our recent relocation has led us to the Keighley location, which has quickly become our new favourite. It's a fantastic place, and a visit there is the highlight of our week, knowing we're in for a delightful curry experience.

As a regular visitor (around 3 times a year or more), Shimla Spice Keighley just seems to go from strength to strength. The staff are always charming and the food is the best Indian cuisine that I have experienced (clearly that is always a personal taste thing). During my most recent visit, the food seemed to have become even more delicious than before, the 2 of us that had been before many times commented on this. We even asked the waiting staff if it had been cooked by the same chefs and were told that it was. It was amazing. The icing on the cake was that we took my dad with us for a treat. He was staying in a care home but wanted to eat out and although his movement is massively limited, the staff made him feel so welcome and at home. He absolutely loved his food too so 5 stars for Shimla!

Went for a meal on Saturday 30th October. I ordered a fish Madras but was persuaded to get the desi which I did. I could not eat it as it was far too spicy. The response was not what I expected. No apology at all in fact he appeared uninterested. Sorry Shimla you spoilt my night and I will definitely not be visiting again in the near future.

The fish dishes are of a supreme quality here. I’ll definately be back when I’m next I’m keighley 😊

Ordered a delievery for the 2nd time and once again it was excellent. Would highly recommend. Food arrived hot and WAS delicious.

1st time there after recommendation, we will be back. Food exceptional, only soft drinks but you can take your own booze.

Just had a beautiful meal at Shimla Spice! We'd never been before and when our food arrived we were a little surprised that it was spicier than we were used to. However the waitor kindly took one curry back to be made more mild for us which was very appreciated. The flavours were exceptional, we will definitely be back in the future!

My friend and I visited Shimla Spice in Keighley on Friday and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff are very welcoming and the food is delicious. Can’t fault anything and would highly recommend it. I often visit the Shimla Spice in Burnley, which again is commendable. It is good to see that Shimla Spice are consistent with their standards across their restaurants.

Popped in for a quick takeaway as was passing and hungry, couple of sheeks and a naan with salad and sauce. Quick service and nice food, left happy.

This is my long standing favourite restaurant for a good curry and more recently I have started exploring their vegetarian options which are totally delicious too. They also offer a delivery service and prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend trying the place out if your visiting anywhere nearby the area.

The staff were very helpful, they made sure what we were ordering was what we wanted by explained the dishes that are easily confused. Food was really tasty and the mocktails were really nice.

Had a very pleasant evening with a lovely group of friends. I ordered the Prawn masala paratha from the appetisers and have to say it was delicious. All the staff were most welcoming and attentive.

First thing I noticed was the menus they were dirty greasy and had yogurt all over them, I had to ask for clean cutlery too. The food was good and there was plenty but the service was not good, we kinda felt that we were not very welcome or valued
