Really good local pub, food is all home cooked and delicious. Dog friendly, live sport on TV, friendly locals.Great little place for an inexpensive meal and beer,would certainly recommend it.

We absolutely love The Swan in Mattishall. The food is fantastic, with huge portions and a varied menu. A decent vegetarian selection as well. The landlords are really warm and friendly, as are all the staff. I would definitely recommend The Swan to anyone.

Outstanding in every detail. Really good village pub with a great range of beers and ciders on tap and a fabulous food menu. The staff are so nice and welcoming. All of us had different meals and they were all very good, make sure you are hungry as portions are very big! Definitely recommend it and will be back soon.

Staying in Mattishall, visited for a meal our first night. Lovely food and good service. Friendly staff.

Friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere helped along by the two beautiful wood burners. Quiet when we visited. The service was helpful, friendly and efficient and we had two good meals. Very reasonably priced too! Good spaces for parking.

Always make you welcome didn't eat but food looks fantastic 👌 and definitely will go back to eat as heard good reviews 👍

Have been going there on and off for a few years on my visits to the village. A lot better now, great ales and warm pub friendly staff. Saturday afternoon saw a good crowd in, creating a good atmosphere. What a village pub should be like.

My husband and i visited here last night. Wd had hunters chicken and half rack of ribs....both meals were cooked to perfection and large portions. The staff were very friendly. Couldnt ask for a better meal and experience

Service was great by the waitresses. Also was able to have a bit of banter with them.

Nice Sunday lunch, food plain, however good choice of veggie dishes.

This place is let down by it's food. Service was good but food came out either undercooked or overcooked which was surprising since we were the only table for dinner at the time. Menu choices are dull and all quite greasy pub grub.

I went in to the swan for lunch as I had heard some positive things about it. I found it to be a very friendly atmosphere. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. The food was fresh , hot and really delicious. I also found it to be reasonably priced. If you get the chance its worth popping in for some lunch or a drink. I would recommend it.

Had a lovely meal here the steak was spot on and everything thing is home cooked not microwaved like some places well recommend this little village pub.. definitely well worth a visit..well done all involved 👍

Just a brief visit but very welcoming all the same.

Excellent evening started with an enjoyable Jerk Chicken kebab, (very spicy) and went on to be a stomping Kareoke evening. Met some great people. Very friendly bunch. Would thoroughly recommend. Landlord is very amenable.

Whilst everything is going on with the pandemic at present, this pub has gone above and beyond to meet the requirements both imposed onto themselves and that of the customer. A friendly greeting and time spent with customers both old and new. We will definitely return. Missed out on the 5th star as currently there's no outside heating, this is obviously purely seasonal.

Food has improved, large portions, tastes good. Don't know about the booze, I don't drink.

We poped in on the last day of our holiday, wish we had found the Swan sooner. Really friendly staff. Very nice traditional seasonal food. On the walk to the Swan the hedges were full of black berry's, that apple and blackberry crumble was spot on.

Very good place to eat, staff very friendly service very good, there was ten of us from a walking group no problem, six of us had liver bacon with bubble squeak it was great, not sure what others had all meals are great, Highly recommended John 😀👍

Being regulars at the swan it was the perfect place for my husbands 70th birthday celebration. Sonia Pete and Debbie went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. Their were seventeen of us and they worked so hard.They really helped to make the evening special. I can't praise them highly enough. A massive thankyou from all our party.

Great local pub with excellent food. They have a menu with daily specials that they consistently deliver well. Pies are good with lots of filling. Ideal destination if staying at Barnham Broom Hotel.

This has got to be the best Veggie burger I have eaten in years.... (and I am pretty fussy). we arrived at 2.25pm (they stop food at 230) but happily agreed to feed us. The veggie burger was only £5.95 but was massive - and lovely - a big grilled mushroom, lots of halloumi, grilled veg and gherkins. My daughter had the chicken burger and said it was great...and a good price - £18 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks and a side of chips. I would highly recommend this pub - we will be back!
