I went to Sutton fish & chip shop on the evening of the 04/01/2023 and ordered patty peas, chips. I asked them if the chips were hot, they replied yes, when I received them they was warm. To my annoyance the owner quoted that the reason they was warm was because I took longer in applying salt and vinegar to my meal. I asked for a fresh batch of chips to be put in, he then refused to serve me and handing me my money back, embarrassing me in the process. I then drove to Sue downs fish & chip shop which is just around the corner where I received great service and receiving an enjoyable red hot meal in which was all I wanted in the first place.

It is always a pleasure to come here and buy a high quality good value fish and chips tea. The staff are excellent in every way and make every customer feel special. And there is no problem with cash only as there is a cash machine close by.

131 New Bridge RoadDidn’t finish this, brown overcooked fish, chewy. Undercooked peas. But everything was incredibly soggy too. I don’t get how they actually got it this bad 🤣. Needless to say, I’m leaving this review here to remind myself never to go here again

193 Cottingham RoadPopped in for a quick bite to eat. The new menu looked great and had plenty of choices. Beer was in good condition ditoon and tge staff were friendly and polite. Will be back to try the quiz next time.
