I went to Sutton fish & chip shop on the evening of the 04/01/2023 and ordered patty peas, chips. I asked them if the chips were hot, they replied yes, when I received them they was warm. To my annoyance the owner quoted that the reason they was warm was because I took longer in applying salt and vinegar to my meal. I asked for a fresh batch of chips to be put in, he then refused to serve me and handing me my money back, embarrassing me in the process. I then drove to Sue downs fish & chip shop which is just around the corner where I received great service and receiving an enjoyable red hot meal in which was all I wanted in the first place.

saville streetAs always we had a great time in this lgbt friendly cafe bar. Friendly chatty staff fun atmosphere (there's often a drag act on or dj) and most of the prices are cheaper than weatherspoons.

Ferriby RoadVery poor, there were nine of us. Didn’t feel particularly welcome, carvery only, wasn’t told what the system was had to go and look for someone to explain. Food less than average, meat was dry, roast potatoes were appalling, veg burnt and mash potatoes were like glue. Would not recommend this place.
