Suthetland is quite hard to find u less you are local or ha e sat nav, here you will find live e bands on certain days (please check.that out) when you walk I you are met with a spacious area of the bar, there is another area attached to the main bar,for you and your loved one, where you can sit and talk to your hearts content. I find this venue quite quiet hence during week, things could be something different on a weekend The bar personnel are attentive and accurate of your order, and good looking especially the one whom wore check trousers tonight, 16th, well please take a look and find it please x

Fantastic place to stay staff very friendly, food was lush & the beer was cheap Paul the host was brilliant and red wine & coke is the future great atmosphere everyone made you feel welcome 5* for me hope to go back in the near future.

booked a table for 5 of us for 12 noon, we arrived at 11-50 and sat down, at 12-15 someone finally took our orders, and payment ? overcharging one member charging for the chips which were included with the meal. (got refunded the overpayment) Over half an hour later the first 2 meals came out, both missing items, then the other 3 meals. Food was lovely but no one came over to ask us how food was, or if we would like anything else, We sat for another half hour then decided we may as well give up any chance of a dessert. Staff seemed to stay in the kitchen away from us. We were the only ones in except for 1 man sat at the bandit so no excuse for bad service, first time we have left without leaving a tip. shame as food was nice

Do not eat here! This was the worst meal we have ever had. I ordered mince and dumplings there was no flavour to it, the dumpling had been microwaved and the salt had been forgotten. My dinner came out before my starter. If you want nachos order a hammer and a new set of teeth to go with it. One of my party ordered quiche the pastry was like concrete. I’m sorry to the staff who seem lovely your chef seriously lets the side down. There was other things wrong but it would take me all day to list them and I’m starving and going to get a kebab on the way home.

Everything about our experience was just terrible from the start: The place is run down, with cheap decor and dirty. The lack of customers at peak lunch time ought to have been the first red flag. We were greeted by a vacant-eyed concierge upon arrival and beckoned to our table as the mistress of the house scowled from behind the bar as if inconvenienced by our very presence. There was plenty of choice on the menu which gave us some hope for a pleasant meal and soon a friendly staff member came to take our orders. Hope soon died as our long wait turned into what seemed like eternity with food eventually coming out in drips and drabs making for an unpleasant family dining experience. The food itself looked great but tasted bland at best tending towards wholly in-eatable in parts resulting in a back and forth with a team well versed in apologies. Some return of our money was offered as restitution for the failings and a promise of a better dessert to save the experience. However, With the children starved, the adults confused and the day ruined we opted to cut our losses and flee with the hard earned knowledge that he who dares doesn’t always win. A unique experience and certainly one to passive aggressively recommend to any in-laws or work colleges you don’t particularly like.

Lovely hotel & great staff, value for money with good food & plenty off . Paul manger showed us around on arrival even fire exit 😂. Fully socked bar at spoons prices with wide range of food available. Evening entertainment disco / karaoke. The hotel on top of a hill so walk into Newcastle or Gateshead no trouble with £10 in taxi from other side of Tyne or £2 on a bus (58)all run regularly with stop not far from hotel . Personally I preferred Gateshead down hill local pubs meeting locals rather than bustle of hay market expensive with stag party’s/ tourists.

Cracking rooms, though the beds could be bigger. Good entertainment in the bar. Even if they think music has only been in existence since 1985.

Sunday lunch was outstanding. Service was 5*. Definitely be back.

Absolutely shocking - order didn't even arrive

The restaurant downstairs is good for eating and small parties. There is draft beer. The hotel rooms are clean. The room is not too small. There is parking in front of the main entrance. The only thing that will be inconvenient is If you must leave the hotel when the ground floor is closed, such as early in the morning, you must exit through the fire exit at the back of the hotel. When we stayed, this door could not be opened back. But when calling the owner She came down to open it and apologized.

Really good place, friendly atmosphere

Signed in and followed signs to the bar, everything in place very clear instructions and plenty of social distancing, felt very safe. Staff are excellent very polite and professional, good choice of drinks and food all reasonably priced. Had a lovely afternoon and loved the strawberry Daiquiri. Called in on the way home staff are friendly and helpful enjoyed our drinks in the games room. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Delivered the food too late after 50 min service is really bad

Not much to go on, only called in for a pint. It looked quite plush, free entertainment, not too expensive and seemed easy access. Will do full review tomorrow

The food was 30 minutes late. Was supposed to be delivered between 7:20-7:40pm and arrived at 8pm. I called the shop and I was told the driver was on his way. Called again at 8pm and again was told the same. Even though the distance between my house and the shop is 10 minutes at the most. So when I first called the driver was still in the shop.

The Quality & Standard expected of Pizza Land has faltered and I used to pride myself with Pizza from here. I disappointed to say the least and the pepperoni and specials didn’t feel premium or good at all! Not the finest tasting and cold pizza!

I was attending a reunion event with friends in the area and Sutherlands ticked all our boxes. Parking was easy and I was greeted by cheery and friendly staff. Much of the accommodation appears to have been recently renovated/redecorated and so was in a good state of decoration and repair. For me, I felt that a couple of tweeks in the room would make it perfect. A couple of towel hooks on the back of the bathroom door, and maybe a couple of hooks for coats on the back of the main door. The bar was busy at night, but then it is a popular facility and I certainly didn't experience any noise problems in my room. Breakfast was great and there was plenty of it. I would certainly stay here again.

hi. pizza and fries were ok. also i said no mushroom, so it was a bit frustrating picking out the mushroom. if the chefs could take a few seconds to read the comments, it would've have been a better pizza and more stars! roxi

It’s usually our go to place for a quick get dinner on the table for the kids. 9/10 always correct and on point. Always delivered on time.

The shop is called pizza land so u would expect them to atleast cut the pizza up! Not impressed one bit orded hot chicken wings. They were cooked in oil and was not hot at all! The coating on them was bland and disgusting. The pizza itself was not right at all. The chicken smelt on it and the pizza tasted like bleach was on it. Never going to order again from here. Food went straight in the bin avoid at all costs!!!

Employees were rude on the phone. Delivery time took 20-30 minutes longer than said. So altogether waited around 1 hour and 40 mins. Pizza came Cold and was smaller than expected.

Order is 30 minutes late and apparently it’s been delivered. I’m trying to call the restaurant and they denied my call after 3 mins of holding on the line!!! Avoid this place!!

Pizza was okay but i think that was because i was really hungry. Fries were stale and garlic bread was too. Delivery time was really poor, ordered the food and waited an hour for it to arrive.

Honestly, in my opinion, compared to all the top end ones out there, this is the best place for pizzas. I've never had any negative experiences from this place, such as delivery, customer service or their food. This is the only place I buy pizzas from now, as the kids love their pizzas. I've lost count of the number of times I've ordered from here, but every time I ordered, the pizzas were made perfectly. Their customer service is excellent too. I accidentally ordered it as a collection instead of a delivery, so I phoned them and the brother kindly had it delivered. Jazakallah and thank you so much.

When collection food nice don't like delivery to far and staff are friendly nice place to eat when collection I had delivery before It was banging but this I was quiet upset sorry food was cold and burger over cook

The pizza was cold and the cheese was cold and hard first they sent me a message food will be deliver by 4:55 to 5:15pm on the app the message was shown delivered I called the restaurant the shopkeeper lied told me you will get hot pizza in a minute but they delivered the 5:45 and they didn't give me refund the defiantly Don't need to think Customer has no brain and their time is money is not worth. I would not recommend pizza land

Order placed around 1:05pm for 1:15pm collection. Restaurant accepted. Arrived at 1:30pm, as it was a large order. They hadn't even started any of the food when I arrived. Ended up leaving with the food at 2pm, 45 minutes after agreed collection time. No coleslaw from meal deal

Had the most fantastic Christmas Lunch in a very friendly atmosphere and your table was yours for the day, could not be beaten, thanks to Helen Heather and staff for a great day

Brought a burger meal it came cold with a missing drink.

I got a notification at 19:30 that the food had arrived. This wasn’t true. The food was delivered at 20:15 so I waited almost 2hrs for delivery. The restaurant said several times that the food would arrive in ‘3 minutes’ but I ended up waiting another 45mins. The chips was cold, the pizza was cold so i threw it away! What a shame! How do I request a full refund?

Pizzas that were usually tasty were truly horrible... I went for the 3 for 12.99 and it was a total waste of money. The bases weren't cooked through properly and tasted doughy and the pizzas had no flavour they were bland. Felt like eating cardboard. I ordered after quite a while but l Won't be ordering from here again!

Stayed for a night, but not again. There was a weird Satan/anti-vax/anti-5G/paedophilic meeting going on. The people were strange (one guy had sunglasses on at night, and looked like the bloke from the London protests who attacked the police 🤣) . Staff were great, but the clientele are definitely suspect!

Fries were overcooked and spongy everything else was okay

Ordered food at 8 Told will come between 8.40-9 Order was showing as delivered at 9 Phone takeaway at 9.15 and was told sorry they have put delivered by mistake and order will be ready in half hour as Busy!!!! Why confirm an order at 8 if you are too busy? Definitely Will not recommend this place

Overcooked food tasteless and bland

Just amazing, came fresh, everything was hot, the chips, the wings, the strips and the pizza. Apna is our favourite option! Best local pizza by far.
