Went here on my Birthday and really really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service by Andreea was amazing , I hope she gets promoted as she is a wonderful hardworking person, the food was mostly wonderful however some items where a bit hit and miss , slightly out there, however if you love sushi I definitely recommend as it was seriously fresh, some of the combinations of food were a bit peculiar but because everything was so fresh it didn’t disturb from the wonderfully simple goodness taste

Got reservations on a Saturday night with my partner and went with the premium taste of Samba menu. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary for a prefixe course. Each dish was timely and the flavors are what you’d imagine and comparable to some restaurants in NYC. Our server Zik was a highlight of our night as he struck up some light conversation and banter on our travel to London. He gave us some great recommendations and showed us an amazing night view of the city.

We had the most amazing experience dining here, food is lovely and the service is exceptional. Our server was AnisaMoutsi who was super friendly and professional. My friend is gluten free and they were exceptionally accommodating and were able to provide a gluten free menu.

I had an incredible dining experience at Sushi Samba, and a big part of that was due to our waiter, Azamat. His recommendations were spot on, and he made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. Try the tiger maki and the el topo!

What a vibe. You're not gonna find a much cooler dining experience than this. 39 floors up with 360 views of the city and of course, delicious food and fantastic cocktails. Menu is fun and creative and the staff are nice. One of our favorite dinners of the trip.

It’s an experience since the views from Sushisamba are breathtaking but expect to pay the price - very pricey! with that being said the food and cocktails are very good. Meat dishes cooked to perfection and very unique fusion of South American with Japanese flavors. Came when the Christmas decorations are up and it’s a sight! Recommend if looking for a splurge!

Located in Bishop Gate, Sushi Samba is a great dining if you seek for an experience that you don't have every day. It's a busy sushi restaurant, with a great atmosphere and excellent food. The price is very high, but you pay for excellent quality service, food and overall experience.

We had an amazing time at SushiSamba Heron tower London. Without a doubt one of the best Sushi restaurants we have eaten at. Every recommendation was spot on. We were there on our special day as we share our B’day, A big shout out to AnisaMoutsi. She was very warm and helpful. She made our B’day dinner even more special by making a grand gesture.

The place was great but the service was amazing with Azamat as my server he did a good job on making sure our table was clean, we were refreshed, and I ordered great food would recommend him anytime.

It appears my review was removed so I have reposted it now We were refused entry for a pre dinner drink as our 15yo daughter was with us and were left to wait on the street for 30 minutes until our table was ready. Good restaurants accommodate people in this situation. The service was average and unenthusiastic. The quality of the T bone steak and black cod was poor, sushi was good. This place has high notions about itself but fails to deliver. Exorbitant prices for very average service and food. Would definitely not recommend

The dishes are refined and a very varied choice which allows everyone to find happiness. The waitress Mamata was very helpful in the choices

Absolutely delicious beautifully presented food. It’s big and it’s busy - staff were friendly and attentive. It is expensive but we thought it’s worth it for a tasty treat.

Food and Atmosphere 10/10. I don’t live in the UK so honestly I don’t care too much that the service was lackluster. There were a couple things I ordered twice because how good they were, and the atmosphere in general was amazing. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to have a good time with someone or a group of people. Note: if you’re cheap or someone who looks at menu prices, don’t come here 🙃

The cuisine is not exceptional compared to other restaurants of the same type and in the same price range. Not surprised by the taste or the originality. Very disappointed indeed. The service was deplorable, from arrival to departure. Forgotten by the hostess 20 minutes before being placed at our table. At the entrance the security guard was more than unpleasant, the only positive point was the setting and the view (which we unfortunately were not able to take advantage of being placed on a small table at the entrance so seen on.. nothing)

Had an amazing time at sushi samba on Tuesday! Benjamin was our waiter and was so kind and helpful kept all of our drinks topped up. The food was so tasty and arrived super quickly. Cocktails were so creative and their version of espresso martini was sooo good! Such a beautiful venue as well. We had the set menus and the cod was absolutely delicious my favourite item we had! Thank you so much for a brilliant experience I will not be forgetting. :)

My wife and I were in the samba room having cocktails, both the cocktails and the atmosphere were dreamy... but we cannot ignore the attention of the waitress Sonia for her excellent attention and her recommendations when choosing the drinks . 110% recommended!

Absolutely loved Sushisamba Bishopsgate and was a pleasure celebrating for my birthday. Andreea provided exceptional service and it made our experience worthwhile.

The food was overpriced and not especially tasty. Six of us were crammed on to a tiny round table where the wait staff struggled to fit all our food at the same time. Food is served as it's made, so most of us were finished before a friend received her 'starter' item. However, our waiter Manoj was very good and proactive with ordering a birthday cupcake for the celebration in our party. Overall not an experience I would like to try again, over-hyped and there are much nicer places with better food in London!

My husband and I celebrated on our honeymoon here. The atmosphere is incredible, you feel the luxury here the second you walk in. The food is delicious, always cooked and served perfectly. The service is great, my only issue was our server had arrogance to him that maybe was suppose to be confidence, but I felt like he was speaking down to me more than anything at points. I am celiac, and they have a lovely gluten free menu, I asked a question of why something on the main menu wasn’t gluten free to understand, and he didn’t answer why really but only told me “there is a whole gluten free menu, just pick something from there” … Which I did, and it was delicious, but I just thought maybe for the price and attitude of the restaurant, he might have had a bit less attitude. The other servers were incredible, polite and very kind.

Very pleasurable experience, made very special by Mamatha who take good care of us! She made excellent recommendations and was very polite throughout our stay!

Sushisamba is located on the 39th floor of Heron Tower, with a breathtaking view of London. The restaurant is carefully designed down to the last detail. We celebrated a birthday and were more than satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. A very attentive team. Very good cocktails. I think it is a must try experience in London.

SN: it seems they have fake reviews up. I notice for every 3star and below review. There are a few 5 stars reviews by people with only one rating, THEM….. MY LOW SCORE IS BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH MY SERVER. I paid €40 for the reservation which is added to your total tab; BUT this place isn’t nothing spectacular. I assumed it’ll be some place I’d return again, but I wouldn’t. They also have TOO MANY WORKERS who clearly miss the mark in service. I’ve been to Duck & Waffles so this is another part of it. SERVICE: MY SERVER HAD NO PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS & A SHORT MEMORY. SHE KEPT FORGETTING EVERYTHING I ORDERED. Every time I ordered something, she forgot and when I addressed it, she went to go get the manager. I had to tell him (the manager), to let her fix the mistakes and stop coming to my table. My date ordered his main coarse, she forgot that too. It was so annoying. I ordered 2 cocktails, with my ice on the side. I had some dude come out to tell me that it’s going to taste bad without ice. I simply told him, give me what I asked for because I’m paying. FOOD & DRINKS: yummy yummy yummy. Nothing was disappointing. ATMOSPHERE: we had a great table by the window overlooking the city. Entrance great for pics, music and just a lively crowd. What more can you ask for. I’d definitely go back again and again. Yes there’s a service fee, who cares. I paid it and I tipped. It’s worth it. I would recommend. Enjoy

Our warm appetiser arrived 25 minutes before our drinks (and water). It took 35 minutes to get our cocktails. We were seated on a counter under a fan where it was freezing and were not moved to an open table although we have requested to move several times and tables were empty (and later occupied by couples who had one drink each). Our cold dishes and sushi arrived 25 minutes after our drinks (that is, 45 minutes after the hot dishes). Of course we did not order another drink because there was no real apology and could not induce the wait in the cold. In which universe is this ok?

Really wonderful Japanese cuisine - not just sushi. Vibrant atmosphere and great views. A lift to the top which is luck really as you wouldn’t want to walk!

Stopped here with my daughter for a drink - we didn't have a reservation. The lift up to the 39th floor bar is amazing with stunning views - it goes up really fast and was really enjoyed. The bar itself is also stunning and the outdoor area fabulous. Inside the bar also has stunning views too and has a really good vibe. The 4 stars instead of 5 is for a service charge put on the cocktails that I didn't realise about at the time - I went to the bar, got the cocktails myself and then got a seat - then re looked at the cocktail menu and realise that a service charge of £10.10 had been added on.
