Booked my daughter’s 18th birthday family celebration. Wonderful view but I didn’t think the ambience was that special for the prices you pay. All felt a bit ‘ordinary’.. and the main restaurant whilst big and airy with stunning views was more like a motorway service station restaurant than a classy restaurant. The food however was excellent - every dish and course beautifully presented and the fish in particular was stand out. We did feel rather rushed with the courses coming out very quickly. However our waiter was excellent and when we asked him if he could slow down the pace he was delightful and adjusted the pace accordingly with the kitchen. All in all it was a good meal with lovely service but you pay a high price and I just didn’t feel the whole experience had quite the sense of occasion I’d have liked.

Thank you, Dainius and the Sushisamba team, for a delightful late lunch yesterday! Even without a reservation, the staff ensured we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The views were as beautiful as expected and set the perfect backdrop for the meal. The tasting menu was a highlight, with each dish showcasing thoughtful preparation and excellent flavors. The sea bass stood out as a favourite, and the chocolate banana cake was a wonderful ending to the meal. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and happy. Sushisamba is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a special dining experience! Thank's again!

Went for my husband's birthday and had a great time. The food was awesome, the view was great. Special thanks for the mini cupcake—it was such a nice touch! Huge shoutout to Azamat for being so chill and making sure we were well taken care of. Overall, a lovely experience!

Después de aconsejar mi nombre 5 veces a la multitud de porteros a su llegada, incluyendo ser señalado y dicho que “Espere un minuto” cuando respondí por segunda vez con mi nombre en la planta baja, y después de esperar durante 25 minutos después de estar sentado para que se tomara una orden de bebidas, y pedir agua para llenar los vasos de agua se estrelló sobre la mesa al principio de la noche... Nos sentimos aliviados al encontrar la comida que salió a ritmo para estar muy bien equilibrada en sabores y proporcionado en buenas porciones para el punto de precio. Tal vez llegamos en un momento ocupado, ya que al final de nuestra comida surgió que había un par de miembros del equipo destacados con buena atención al detalle.

We were visiting London for the first time and went for dinner to Sushi Samba. Great experience! Our waiter Emilio made sure we had an amazing time - super attentive, friendly and helpful when it came to choosing what to order. It is a special kind of fun to observe all kinds of people at such a place, so many different worlds meeting and merging effortlessly. Didn't feel any arrogance or that crappy vibe when you know you're under some sort of class evaluation. All in all lots of fun. Oh yeah, special tribute to the cocktails menu and quality! Superb!

Had a great experience at SushiSamba. Had an excellent waiter, Azamat, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. Cocktails were excellent (maple martini and dirty martini), as was the black cod and pork belly....melts in the mouth. Sushis a little small hence the 4star for food. Service excellent.

Probably the best chocolate shortbread I've ever tasted, the scone,cream and jam was huge and so tasty!! Fantastic view too

Had very high expectations for this place, and was very disappointed mostly with their service. At a certain point, they forgot out table and stopped coming by. When we e eventually ordered water, it took them more than 30 to bring that while other tables were continuously being offered/poured water. A waiter then wanted to bring us a plate of sushi, but someone stopped him stating it wasn’t for us, they then took the plate back to their counter, and 15 minutes later they brought it back to our table. Their so called “Brazilian bbq” was horrendous, dry meet, feijoada was basically a little pot of water (I kid you not) and a few pieces of black beans. They then took 45 minutes to bring out dessert, which luckily was actually decent and tasty. At the end we had to ask for our bill about 3 times, waiting for than 30 minutes. When we threatened to leave without paying, the restaurant manager brought the bill himself and offered £25 discount for our troubles! definitely not worth it!

UPDATE , I went in October 2024 and I rated it a 3 for service because of my waitress. Went back recently and had a superb waiter, that changed how I felt abt this place in the past. Food was good as usual, enjoyed myself and we ended up with the same table as last time. For what this place cost, they really need people who are well trained and are actually in the service industry, someone who is self sufficient , not having to call the manager for EVERY MISTAKE THEY MADE. ……………………………………. SN: it seems they have fake reviews up. I notice for every 3star and below review. There are a few 5 stars reviews by people with only one rating, THEM….. MY LOW SCORE IS BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH MY SERVER. I paid €40 for the reservation which is added to your total tab; BUT this place isn’t nothing spectacular. I assumed it’ll be some place I’d return again, but I wouldn’t. They also have TOO MANY WORKERS who clearly miss the mark in service. I’ve been to Duck & Waffles so this is another part of it. SERVICE: MY SERVER HAD NO PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS & A SHORT MEMORY. SHE KEPT FORGETTING EVERYTHING I ORDERED. Every time I ordered something, she forgot and when I addressed it, she went to go get the manager. I had to tell him (the manager), to let her fix the mistakes and stop coming to my table. My date ordered his main coarse, she forgot that too. It was so annoying. I ordered 2 cocktails, with my ice on the side. I had some dude come out to tell me that it’s going to taste bad without ice. I simply told him, give me what I asked for because I’m paying. FOOD & DRINKS: yummy yummy yummy. Nothing was disappointing. ATMOSPHERE: we had a great table by the window overlooking the city. Entrance great for pics, music and just a lively crowd. What more can you ask for. I’d definitely go back again and again. Yes there’s a service fee, who cares. I paid it and I tipped. It’s worth it. I would recommend. Enjoy

We booked to go and had to pay €40. The place is very cool. We went at night, but I think going during the day might be a better idea. We had dinner there. It is extremely expensive. There were people who made reservations and ate only a few appetizers (so I imagine the expense is lower). The truth is that what we paid seemed excessive to me. The experience was very good, the service too. I think it would have been better to go to the cocktail area, it was more atmospheric Although in my opinion, before going there, I would go to any other skyscraper where I wouldn't have to pay that amount and see the views. It is very nice and the experience is good but I would not return 🙃 They deducted the €40 we paid to reserve from our account👍🏻

Amazing atmosphere, yummy sushi, and top notch bar!

My experience at Sushi Samba was a mixed bag. I sat at the bar, and while the food was tasty, it felt a bit overpriced. The ambiance and setting somewhat justified the cost, but the service let the whole experience down. The staff at street level, before the lift, had a serious attitude issue that set a poor tone from the start. Our waiter took our order without writing anything down, which led to him returning twice to confirm what we wanted, not a huge deal, and I could overlook it. However, he still managed to get our order wrong not once, but twice, forcing us to request plate changes both times. He never offered us drinks at the beginning, and at one point, she poured still water into our sparkling water glass despite the sparkling bottle sitting right in front of us. The real kicker was the 15% service charge automatically added to the bill, not presented as optional. When I questioned it, the response was dismissive. Throughout the meal, the waitstaff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers. Will I return? Absolutely not. You’re paying a premium for a nice room, but the service is abysmal, and being forced to tip for that kind of treatment is insulting.

Restaurant that lives up to the high expectations we had. Exquisite food and not at all obvious, very special in short. Truly top service and I would like to specify that the waiter, Azamat, who followed our dinner was great, he accompanied us in choosing the courses to choose and was really friendly. Sushi Samba used to be a treat yourself location but it’s really gone down hill in terms of service, atmosphere, people etc. it’s just not worth the money you have to pay anymore so try elsewhere

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Sushi Samba, and it was made even better thanks to the amazing service from Abdal! We were at the sushi counter. The food was incredible – fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From the sushi rolls to the unique fusion dishes, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, with a stunning view that added to the overall experience.

Food was amazing as usual, and our server Rafael was very welcoming. Very attentive, always checking up on us to make sure our drinks and food were satisfactory. It was also our anniversary meal and he brought out a small celebration for us. Will be recommending!

In the past I loved coming here, the food was always great, you get amazing views, and the staff are friendly. Yesterday was one of those 'special' occasions and I was actually excited about coming, but this experience was actually dampened by Sushisamba for the first time... Let me explain. Upon first entering, we had to wait at least 15 minutes to get to our seats. We sat down ourselves, no one offered a drink, no one gave an update. Great start. We were sat down in the middle of the room, surrounded by people in the business meetings. It was just noisy and loud, hugely unpleasant in comparison to all other times I've been. There was only two of us, yet I don't understand why we weren't moved to the side of the room... With nicer views at least? Later I saw two businessman walk in, were sat on one side of the room. Our waiter saw a 'better table' with a view and offered them that even after they say down, disappointing we didn't get the choice. And yes there were tables free. The service then went from bad to worse. Our drinks didn't come till after we had finished 80% of the food. No one checked up on us in that time, I had to flag down a passing staff member to remind them of the drinks. We couldn't even get hold of our waiter. Another slow 10 minutes pass, and our waiter finally comes by, says "sorry for the delay" with the least effort possible and says the drinks are complimentary and then disappears again. It didn't feel like anyone actually cared, it felt more like the free drinks were to keep us quiet. And yeah it still gets worse. I got my little birthday plate, it wasn't a surprise but it was nice ... But we weren't offered dessert nor tea/coffee at all? In the past we always ordered these, and this came together with the birthday plate. I guess by that point it was just our sign to go. The food was as good as it used to be, but the experience and service was a huge let down on what was supposed to be a good day. It was meant to be the highlight of the day. I regret it. Do better Sushisamba, it wasn't a cheap meal, we might not be wealthy businessmen but we deserved some decent service at the very least. A local pub would have offered far better service than this.

Sam and Pauline were excellent. It was our anniversary and Pauline and Sam did nothing but make it special. We are so lucky. Hope when we come back we have them again!

Had a great experience at Sushi Samba London. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The wine selection was impressive, with plenty of great options to complement the meal. The food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. A great spot for a special night out or a quality meal in a lively setting. Would definitely recommend!

I've been to Sushi Samba before and again, it did not disappoint. Our waiter (Abdul I think!) was sensational, give this man a raise! We sat at the Sushi Bar which I was worried would feel very exposed but it actually was so cosy and private. We had the tasting menu and oh my word, every single dish was divine!

Sushi Samba was amazing. The service staff are all extremely attentive, and all staff are accommodating for anything you need. I must give the highest praise to Mamatha, who was our server for the night in the restaurant. She was patient, had a warm demeanour, and for us, was the highlight of the night. Yes, the food was astonishing, but the atmosphere would be nothing without Mamathas astonishing customer service. Thank you for an amazing night, we will return!

This is my 4th time visiting SUSHISAMBA, food was superb as usual. Dhana was waiting at our table. She was super nice and definitely TOPPED UP OUR EXPERIENCE.
