Sushisamba in City of London, Westminster

Hello everyone!! We had a wonderful time at Sushi Samba in this beautiful setting. The sushi was excellent, and not to mention the impeccable service, thanks to Azamat, who was excellent throughout the evening! Thank you so much! We highly recommend it ;))

Everything perfect, a fantastic location with high quality food and beverages. Friendly and professional staff. The only flaw is the bathroom, not a great one but above all (something that the place absolutely needs to review) while using the open toilet for men when the main door of the bathroom is opened you are in line of sight of the girls queuing outside.

We experienced great service from Azamat yesterday. The flavours in the food were a little more basic than we expected but the view was great.

It's certainly not sushi icons, but it's also delicious. The bonus is the beautiful views of the city and the pleasant service. But it's advisable to book in advance.

The food and the drink were amazing and Arthur was really kind with us.

We had theeee best time, food was full of flavour particularly the sushi rolls and the shrimp tempura! Finished of the meal with a refreshing peppermint tea - soo good! Our server Andrea was so friendly and accommodating. The views of the sunset added to the vibes - Highly recommend !

I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m actually fuming after tonight. Came to SUSHISAMBA to celebrate my friend’s birthday, expecting a nice night out and the service was straight-up disgusting First off, we asked the waiter for menu recommendations, and he couldn’t have looked more bored if he tried. Gave the driest, most unhelpful reply like we were annoying him. No energy, no effort, just straight half hearted vibes. That already set the tone wrong Then I tried to take TWO quick pictures of my friend — LITERALLY TWO — and security came flying over telling me “no flash allowed.” Bare in mind we were sat in the corner with NO ONE next to us, so who exactly were we disturbing? The wall?? Make it make sense. What really pushed me over the edge was at 8:30PM, the waiter came and said exactly like: “We need that table by 8:45 yeah?” Just like that. No explanation, no manners, no nothing. We got seated at 7:15, so you’re really pushing us out after barely an hour and a bit? Meanwhile I looked around other people who were seated before us were still comfortably chilling, and no one was rushing them out. There were empty tables available too, so don’t try and tell me it was about needing space... So why us??? Then, literally 5 minutes later, he came back AGAIN looked at our table and asked “Are you guys finished?” — as if we were just sitting there wasting time or something We still had food on the table! Like full dishes we hadn’t even touched yet. Why are you asking us if we’re finished when we’re clearly still eating? I don’t wanna throw accusations, but it honestly felt like discrimination. We’re Asian, and it really felt like we were being treated differently for no reason. I’ve been to this place before and had a lovely time — staff were friendly, flash pictures were fine, they even offered to take pics for us. We stayed over 2 hours and no one said a thing. But this time? Nasty attitude, rude service, and rushed out like we weren’t wanted there. I felt horrible for my friend. It was her birthday and I wanted it to be special. I chose this place thinking it would be a nice treat, but it ended up ruining her night. I’m actually embarrassed I brought her here. SUSHISAMBA DO BETTER. TRAIN YOUR STAFF PROPERLY and treat all your guests with the same respect. This kind of service is unacceptable especially at a place that charges luxury prices. ****EDIT: Now they reply back to me with a very half hearted apology and tell me I should discuss with them by email - WHICH I ALREADY DID 2 DAYS AGO AND STILL HAVENT GOT A SINGLE REPLY BACK!!!!!

One of my absolute favourite restaurants! Not only does it boast stunning views of London City, but it also serves up an incredible fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine that will leave you craving more. You can’t miss their Cod Fish, presented like an art piece and as delicious as it is beautiful. And let’s talk about the desserts—they come with quirky names like "Welcome to the Jungle" 🌴 and are top-notch! If you want to impress someone special with exceptional food and an electrifying atmosphere, this is the place to be! 🫶🏻 Highly recommend!

I went there for a friend’s birthday and it was very nice, great food, amazing staff, in particular Anna who served our table. She took great care of us, helped us pick out the right food and even took a few photos for us.

Terrible experience – never coming back! I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff were cold, inattentive, and borderline rude. When I asked a few simple questions about the menu, the server responded with a visibly annoyed attitude, as if I was bothering them. To make matters worse, the prices were outrageously high for what was offered. We ordered a few basic dishes, which came in tiny portions and lacked flavor or any real effort in presentation. I was hoping to have a wonderful birthday, but the staff here gave me a terrible experience. Completely overrated, overpriced, and ruined by the unprofessional attitude of the staff. Sush Samba pls retrain your staff. Save your time and money – this place is not worth it

I booked a table at the Samba room on Friday to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent and the vibes were amazing! We danced and we had so much fun! Minimum spend was £300 and our total bill with food, shots etc came to a £480 but it was totally worth it!

Very bad service for the expensive total bill. The food is OK The place is tight The tables not well decorated The service is quite poor, not trained people and that’s the minimum you’d ask for, nothing compared to high class restaurants in Spain Not a good overall experience, will not be back

Went for a celebratory meal and had a great experience. Food was amazing, and the views and restaurant first class. But the best thing was the service. Everyone greeted you with a smile and a special mention to Claudio who looked after our table. He was accommodating, caring and kind and made the experience great so thank you, we will be back for sure.

This place is amazing, the experience started with a spectacular lift-trip up 39 floors. The food was delicious, it was actulally the best sushi we have eaten. Our waiter, Amazat, gave very good service and they even made something special for the children out of the menu. Thank you for a great experience! 💖

had lunch here with my family while we were in town for a short trip! food & service was really good! our server, azamat, was really attentive and friendly (he also gave good advice for how the food should be eaten) :) food was presented well and every dish was great! Amazing views and a great vibe We had dinner at SUSHISAMBA in the Heron Tower and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The view from the 39th floor is breathtaking – paired with good music and our great mood, it made for a perfect evening. We went for the "Taste of Samba Signature Menu" – the food was really tasty and beautifully presented, but we were hoping for a bit more sushi in the mix. That said, it was still a very special experience. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but if you're looking for a place with wow-factor and a lively vibe, it’s totally worth a visit.

I had dinner at Sushi Samba London few days ago. While the food was absolutely delicious and met all expectations, the service unfortunately left us feeling rushed and uncomfortable. Staff were overly attentive to the point of interrupting the flow of the meal—constantly pouring wine after each sip and trying to clear our plates the moment we finished a dish. It felt like we were being hurried along rather than allowed to enjoy our time. A bit more space and subtlety in service would have made the experience much more enjoyable.

We had the best experience dining at Sushisamba London. We were offered exceptional and stellar service from the very first moment we entered the restaurant, and the ambiance and the view was incredible. The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. Anna, who was our server for our dinner, was so attentive and gave helpful recommendations. She even sent us the dessert inscribed with ‘congratulations’ for finishing my first year of university. Such a wonderful experience. Cannot praise Sushisamba enough.

The service was something that really stood out for us and especially Azamat ( Zig) who was phenomenal. He was attentive, knowledgeable, responsive and personable. An absolute delight.

We had dinner on Saturday the 3rd and we had a perfect dinner, all the dishes were very delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant, Special mention, it has been Dhana that has served us with exquisite service and treatment.

Still amazing. Still delicious. Nothing like sushi samba. So there are sushi places and there are super cool restaurants with a vibe and there are restaurants with a view... but only sushi samba is all three. We fell in love with the Miami location years ago and were regulars until it closed. Then we would get our fix if we went to Las Vegas. Going to the London location blows all of that away. As always the neo Tokyo roll is with the trip... and all of the tiraditos. But truthfully you really can't go wrong here. We'll be back if we're ever in London.

It was a nice experience at SUSHISAMBA SoHo. We had a table In the evening, but it felt a bit rushed. Overall the restaurant has a nice view. Be aware music can be quite loud due to the bar next to the restaurant. Food was good.

Came to Sushi Samba for drinks after work and we were greeted with amazing service from Abdul who helped us get a stunning window table. And Emiliano who offered incredible service throughout and giving great cocktail suggestions to try. Overall extremely happy with the service and will be coming again.

It seems like every few years I end up here paying for somebody's birthday party. I am always skeptical; how often do you get a satisfying evening at a tourist-oriented, novelty-location restaurant? But every time I am proved wrong. The food is always good, the service professional, and the prices, while high, are not outrageous for the overall experience. Maybe just go easy on the elaborate cocktails. This time the pork belly and black cod robatas, asparagus, and seaweed salad were particularly delicious. The sushi rolls less elaborate and vertical than I recall and not any better than at any run of the mill spot. Desserts excellent. Lots of vegan options with a special menu for that. For plenty of food, one drink each, and dessert, we paid about $US100 per person.

We had the set menu for 90pp. The food was excellent and it was a lot of food. I refined doing the set menu because you get to try all the different styles of cuisine : Brazilian, Japanese and Peruvian. The timing of the courses was spot on.

Wow, what a night! I went here with my friends and the service was absolutely impeccable. At first, we thought we needed a booking, but the gentleman at the front reassured us and said not to worry, he would find us a table. We waited at the bar for just a few minutes, and throughout, we felt completely looked after. Honestly, this is what true hospitality is all about: making guests feel welcome and cared for. We then got a table in less than 5 minutes. We didn’t know what to order and asked for recommendations and he explained everything, from the dish, portion sizes and how it’ll taste, and what drinks would go best with each dish. We followed his recommendations and it was actually prefect match. The service was amazing and my friends and I all felt the same and it was definitely because of our server, we even spoke about the service after we left. It truly stayed with us. 10/10 service and would come again for the tree bar. Thank you to our special server Abdul.

Very disappointing service after 12 years of London experience, also working in hospitality. The welcome from the team was already sad as they said this is the bar area and sit where you want, after this the waiter proceeded to tell us this table is booked and you have to move. When the drinks were delivered on our third table the waiters said this is your "lychee cooler" "take this from me" as he was not able to place it on the table with the tray in his hand. After such a cold welcome and unprofessional service we decided to leave without taking even a sip of our drinks. The waitress seemed lost even after explaining the disappointment from such a highly established venue.

Overall experience was extremely positive. The dishes that were served were extremely delicious, and surpassed my expectations. One thing that I will remember about my experience is the server, Zik from Uzbekistan, who i ended up having good conversations with after the whole night of him serving very well. 9.5/10

Today I’ve decided to take my date at sushi samba heron tower and I couldn’t be more happy with everything. The reception did the very best to accommodate at best table , the bar also was exemplary, and last but not least , ANNA was out waiter and she been extraordinary from beginning till end , I couldn’t be more happy with the experience,

Today I had Abdul as my attendant and I was completely satisfied and amazed by his attention and his recommendations though out the menu. He was very polite and had loads of tips. He made the experience in sushi samba more and more pleasant and more confortable.

We stopped for a cocktail in this beautiful place overlooking the city. Drinks of truly excellent quality, particular and very refined environment, courteous service. We didn't try much of the food menu, as we went for an after dinner meal. Price quite high, but justified by quality and location
