22 per person. It tastes so bad but I have the nerve to charge this money. The service is not good at all. The waiter is not properly trained at all. The key is that it tastes bad. the allergen information is absolutely useless, they copy and paste the same allergen sources for every single dish and you don't know what you'd get for the dish cos the description is vague. Food is absolutely horrible / ordinary that it's hard to believe the price they charge. 8£ something for a badly done small portioned beef skewer, come on

What a beautiful place, the atmosphere and aesthetic is amazing. The owner Cecelia is so warm and friendly, really makes you feel welcome. The food is delicious, me and my partner usually go for the all you can eat so we can try different things. They've also got a cocktail offer on at the moment so worth coming in as they're delicious!

The sushi is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, and the variety on the menu is incredible. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the experience perfect. Group of five, birthday celebration on a Sunday evening. We did the bottomless/unlimited menu. It was a lovely opportunity to try lots of different dishes. We ordered six hot and six cold dishes in various quantities. Service was fast and we had the friendly Eunice serving us as well as other servers bring food regularly. We ordered a few more dishes 20 minutes later but this was enough for us. Most items were really healthy and low fat. Can't fault anything. Also noticed lots of Asian Oriental diners which is usually a good sign that the food is good quality and authentic. I would return.

My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant this afternoon for the bottomless option, which includes a time limitation. After waiting for approximately 40 minutes, we were shocked to discover that the sushi and sashimi we ordered had not been served at all. I therefore have a suggestion for Sushimania Nottingham: if you cannot afford the costs associated with offering a bottomless option, it is better to discontinue this service!!! Will never come to this restaurant again, zero star for the service quality!!!

Slow decline of a good restaurant. TLDR: I get anxiety when I come here. It used to be very good in terms of price, quality and service, but now it lacks in all of them - especially the service which is extremely rude sometimes. I’ve also seen management get angry at customers - which is literally the one thing you cannot do as a restaurant They lack consistency in terms of literally everything except a hostile environment from the staff - that is somehow always present.

My favourite place to have sushi. Me and my eldest son love sushi so we go to sushimania a couple of times a year. I'd love to go more often more time and life gets in the way and before you know it, 6 months have passed. Anyway, the food is freshly prepared/cooked. The staff are always around to make sure everything is going smoothly and the atmosphere is great.

All you can eat sushi doesn't feel like it should provide quality sushi, but SushiMania somehow manages it. Very tasty sushi as well as other meal options make this one of my two favourite restaurants in Nottingham (and it's a toss up which is the best one!). Service is prompt, staff are friendly too. Would suggest booking your table in advance as they can often get very busy.

£24.50 for all you can eat sushi is an OK deal. And in this deal there are good choices to be made. For example the Sashimi is really very good, as is the Katsu Chicken. Some of the offerings are not so good though. The beef and chicken skewers seem to be rather low quality, and some of the sushi rolls are verging on unpleasant. If you're doing the all you can eat even in a big group, only order 1 portion of something you're not sure about, and re-order it later if you enjoyed it. By the time you've had a couple of drinks, your bill will be around £35 per person and if you're in a group there is a 10% service charge added on top of that. The atmosphere here is not ever so relaxing either, the music can be loud sometimes. In the end the bill can easily be around £40 pp and is less of a great deal, but if you choose wisely you will probably enjoy the food. But for less than £40 you could eat at somewhere like Bonsai, Sushi Yoka or GB Cafe and get plenty of excellent quality sushi in a nicer environment.

Very disappointing. Went for the lunch offer and after waiting 45 minutes had only received one of our items. After asking to cancel the rest of our order and to get the bill, the manager came to our table and aggressively stated that the food was coming. Even after he said this we asked to cancel, and he flat out refused our request. When the sushi came (6 minutes later) it was completely squashed. misshapen, and literally falling to pieces!! Thankfully they took the sushi off the bill, but our treatment from the manager was appalling from start to finish. They tried to intimidate us into keeping our order then treated us like a***** for not accepting the low quality food. Will not be returning. P.s. routinely saw plates of food sitting at the kitchen window for 5+ minutes as servers chatted away. This was while every single table was sat with hungry and frustrated people with no food in front of them.

As regular customers, we always know what to expect from Sushi Mania. Unfortunately, tonight was a disappointment. My friend and I came to have some food and drinks. We were escorted to our table, but the air-conditioning created a draft, so we moved to the next table. Immediately, the manager (glasses, fringe, red lipstick) shouted at us from behind the wall that separates the kitchen from the dining area. I tried very politely to explain that I was cold, but she wouldn't listen or allow us to move to a table for four, as there were only two of us. Bear in mind, the restaurant was serving only three tables at the time, and we arrived an hour before closing. She kept being rude, saying she was expecting a table for four, even though plenty of tables were available that could accommodate a table for four. We left feeling disrespected and ashamed as people were watching, and we enjoyed our food and had some amazing drinks next door.

This is the only place I go to for my sushi fix. This place is amazing for so many reasons. The food is always fresh and tasty, even if it’s busy, there are no cut corners. The cleanliness is always high tier, and the decor is good, but most of all the staff are amazing. I have been to Nottingham Sushimania many times and the staff are always brilliant. Csaba stood out the most one day in particular a couple of weeks ago. There was a customer that had complained to Csaba and was extremely rude towards him. He professionally dealt with her, stayed calm and only responded with respect. He has served us many times and has always been brilliant.

The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired, as well as the sushi pieces, poorly made and with too much rice. We ordered the buffet option which in my opinion is too expensive. They also gave us pieces of sushi that we DID NOT order, which were inedible due to their bad taste, since we couldn't even eat them. They charge you an additional fee for the service, which you can choose not to pay since it is optional. When we told the waiter who served us, his attitude was terrible and unpleasant. I do not recommend it because it is not worth it in terms of quality-price.

Overall very good, my second time here. Once mid week for lunch and this time on a Saturday for an evening meal. Very busy and waited around 45 minutes for a table. I would recommend booking in advance to avoid the wait. Ate from the buffet both times and the food was very good as it's made to order. There's the restrictions on the amount per order which reset every 15 minutes and a fee if you don't eat dishes. All fair enough and so long as you don't seriously over egg it you'll be fine. Seating upstairs but a lift makes it accessible. Would come back again.

We went to enjoy the 50% off the a la carte menu. As I was ordering I checked with the waitress that it was 50% off the online menu price - she said it was. At the end we were presented with a bill that didn’t have 50% off and we were told the menu already included it. The waitress presenting the bill said ‘we have a lot of new staff’ - unacceptable!!!! That would have made our lunch bill including drinks £220 for 3 of us. It’s an absolute con. That would have made the blackened cod circa £25 and it wasn’t even nice! The rest of the food was good but certainly not worth that amount of money!! Very disappointed - we certainly won’t be going back! We could have eaten in a far nicer place for that cost! Avoid …..

Booked and table ready for us. None of us eat shellfish and one of us is vegetarian. There were molluscs in most dishes that a vegetarian would normally choose in this type of restaurant. The waiter was very helpful getting out allergen menu to see which dishes had molluscs in them but there really was nothing left for us to eat so we left. Don't go if you're vegan/vegetarian or if you don't eat shellfish.

I spent more than 100 pounds here today. We initially talked about eating the buffet and when we ordered the second round of meals, we ordered the half-price menu. However, we were not informed in advance about the category and didn’t know what it was. We realized what happened to the second round of meals. The price was one by one, so I immediately called the waiter to ask why. Then the waiter looked at it and said that I had ordered the half-price menu, so I asked to cancel. Then a dish was served that was on the half-price menu. We asked for a refund, and then the waiter told the manager I called, but the manager really didn't have any service attitude. He was very arrogant and rude. He said he couldn't refund after ordering. We said that we had not even touched this dish, but the waiter had already realized why there was a separate price on it, so we asked the waiter. The manager was adamant and said no refunds could be made and asked us if we wanted to continue eating. I said, "I paid and I don't want to eat?" He said, "You haven't paid yet." Me:? ? ? Can I still leave without paying? ? Furthermore, I didn’t order the wrong thing on purpose. I asked the waiter as soon as I saw the price display. In the end, I didn’t bother to argue with him, so I paid for the other half price of the menu. In the end, we left without touching that dish. I will never go there again. The service attitude is so bad! !

It was our third visit. Another great day in Nan Tei again. Yakitori (Beef tongue, Chicken wing, Lamb rack) is the best in the UK I reckon. The best Japanese Cuisine in Nottingham I would say. Cosy atmosphere, and once you see the chef, you will feel oh this is the place giving real Japan. Staffs are so friendly, nice and attentive although restaurant was busy. Hot sake is boiling and amazing, as you rarely find Hot sake in Nottingham.
