It is my first time to be here. Sashimi is fresh, tempura is crispy and the black cod is tasted brilliant. It locates near the end of High Road that many people might not have noticed it, but it is a truly a nice restaurant you can’t miss.

Prices are reasonable but the fish use for the sashimi and nigiri not taste so fresh.

This a joke restaurant very slow service and sushi rice test like basmati rice , they served me wrong order and we were waiting for 1h for one sushi mania salad stay away

the food was good, the servers were very nice, apart from one idiot with tattoos, who was rude (because my 1 year old daughter was making noise), after that we couldn't even finish our meal, I asked for the bill and we left, we spent a total of 270 pounds. for us to be mistreated by this guy (the only idiot who works there) the others were 100%.

A very poor and humbling experience. We arrived at 2:20 to be snapped at by staff and rushed to order before 2:30 as they closed at 3pm Food was sub par , bland and uneventful. The waitress was snappy and rude . Would suggest going to another branch they then tried to charge us £1 per container for bagging the food OURSELVES to go at 3Pm. Safe to say we will not visiting again . Complete and utter waste of £60...next time we will donate money to charity instead . Better value !

Regularly come here with my husband. Favourite sushi place ever in terms of how good the food is. It’s very fresh and the flavour combinations are to die for. Very reasonable price.

Had a lovely experience on a Friday night, wasn't too busy and got the all you can eat offer for £26.80. Food variety was good and staff were so friendly. Have around 100 mins total to place your order on the mobile. Will definitely go again soon.

Overall, the food was very mediocre. The all you can eat buffet menu wasn't bad value. Ordering was via an app, which was tricky as you had to go through a confusing process just to order an extra drink. Before coming, we called up to ensure that they specifically had gluten free options and we were told that they were able to cater for our gluten free guest. However, when we arrived there were no proper gluten free dishes and the only options were steamed rice and boiled edamame beans! The staff were polite.

It is an excellent place for an all-you-can-eat. It's faster, and it has a variety of dishes I don't recommend gyozas or spring rolls; they are too oil. Sushi could be better, but as an all-you-can-eat is ok. Sweet potato sushi and teriyaki salmon were my best!

Japanese buffet (a la carte option is available) restaurant with the novelty of using your smartphone to place your order. Features clean but generic decor, it is quite spacious but you may still need to book in advance for larger groups. Food is prepared fresh and of decent standard but definitely leans towards quantity over quality. Adjust expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Took our God daughter here and enjoyed 50% off menu offer. Food & drinks were quick to arrive. All the food was nicely presented and tasted fresh/clean. You can order via an app for convenience. Staff were friendly. Would happily return

Unfortunately this places uses frozon fish for their sushi, so when it arrives it's pretty chilled and the texture is pretty gross, their hot section is OK but I would avoid the katsu chicken and pork as its the thinnest piece of meat I've ever seen in a katsu. Also their soy sauce and wasabi is bland and doesn't compliment the food. I would personally not go back especially that it's not the cheapest for sushi buffets and the quality is quite bad.

I really don't know how a place like this can still have business. The quality has MASSIVELY decreased since this chain opened in London. Now, I don't know if this only happens when you use the all you can eat menu, but this is what you'll get: -weird smell on the food -nigiri(s) for which the "chef" should be ARRESTED: way too much rice, no kidding, it was a brick of rice with a tiny shrimp on top, not even any sort of attention for the shape, it was the ugliest nigiri ever. -way too big (which doesn't mean better) pieces of sashimi (you only get salmon) -uramaki with no flavour at all or even bad flavour, as if the content was off. -miso soup again with taste/smell far from what other all you can eat restaurant (I'm not even comparing to proper restaurant here) have to offer -yakitori which were absolutely DISGUSTING. The chicken smelled way off and beef was hard -salmon teryaki was brought in a plate with NO attention for presentation at all, and of course, no flavour whatsoever -service ok but the staff is not very professional in dressing all differently and chatting/laughing amongst themselves very loudly. -all that for £25 each which feels like a total robbery. I din't even complain because I didn't want to spoil the evening for my guest, plus I didn't think they would have taken me seriously. I will write to the food hygene rating company or whoever takes care of these things, because something in this place is DEFINITELY OFF. Pun intended. PLEASE AVOID

There are often some rules regarding all-you-can-eat meals but, for a price tag of £20 plus, you would think there would be a warm welcome. Unfortunately not at Sushimania. Minimum order 2 for the “bottomless bowl”, although one can apparently be a child. However, said child (age 10) needed to be measured before they could be classified as such. Then there was question of mixing a la carte with all-you-can-eat within one party. And to cap it all, you needed to download the restaurant's app before you could order. I personally like to relax when going out for dinner. This place irritated the hell of me before we even ordered so we decided to try elsewhere.

We go here quite a bit. The sushi is always fresh and a great selection. The staff are without fail always very welcoming friendly and smiley.

This is was the first time I went to sushimania. I was excited until the I was discriminated for being a vegetarian. Their bottomless menu had a lot more options for non-vegetarian however, when I asked if they could replace few of the options I was told that I would have to order from Al a crate menu and pay additional cost on top. For example they have chicken gyoza but no vegetarian gyoza. It is ridiculous in this day and age that vegetarians are being openly discriminated like this. It’s a really good place for the non veg options bottomless but as a vegetarian I would not recommend it. The waitresses I found quiet rude too and very robotic in their answers. Would I got there again, mmmm not too sure.. they really need have the same amount of options for vegetarians as well as non veg in their bottomless menu.

I think the service in this branch is far better than the one in Golders Green. Although the food is freshly prepared in both places, the serving time is much better in this branch, and staff availability was really good. Also, they now have an easy app ordering system although you have to be on their WiFi for it to work and the speed was a bit slow. Finally, I like that they included the photos of dishes on their app to make it easy to find and order what we need.

All you.can eat, food comes quick, but a waitress was worried us order too much Lol, eventually we have them all finish of course.

First time dining in this franchise today. Not that keen on chain restaurants usually, but was very impressed. Food menu was extensive, and reasonably priced. Food portions were generous and tasty. Rice was piping hot, freshly cooked, and premium quality sushi grade. Attentive staff, and snappy service. Will return..

Nice vibe of the store. I ordered fried chicken pieces and some tonkatsu ramen but was a bit disappointed there was no egg in my bowl and it was quite watery. Overall good experience.

Food was delicious and came out quickly. You hey to eat as much as you want for £20 per head and have to order at your table through there app which isn't great if you've run out of battery. You order 5 dishes at a time and there's a good selection. The staff here are much friendlier than the whetstone branch. I'd deffo recommend if you're a sushi lover

Worst Sushimania branch by far! I feel sorry for the staff since they were nice , but the owner or manager of the store was a complete inconvenience. I came here for my daughter's birthday and he thought it was okay to charge my son (2 yrs old) for the buffet when he was asleep. I told him prior that he was not going to eat and he still insisted he was going to charge me. So we ended up going for Al a carte and when the teriyaki chicken arrived there was no teriyaki sauce on it... And the staff told me I had to pay for sauce. Again worst branch by far , the atmosphere is just not welcoming and we left as soon as we finished what we ordered. Will not recommend. But please do go to the other branches you will have a much more better experience.

Me, my husband and my daughter all had serious diarrhea for three days after going there for a buffet. Spent a around 80 pounds for two adults and a small child, but feeling very sick after celebrating my birthday there. And the waiter had never asked us for which menu we wanted and ordered the food in a very complicated way, shifting lunch to a buffet, and he changed the menu again even without asking/confirming with us. Never go back again.

for the price the place is great but thats all it has to say for itself. food is nothing special, whats horrific is the customer service. staff is always uptight and rushing about without giving any polite care to customers. perhaps this is evidence of faulty management but i could not eat comfortably in that restaurant. when ordering the waitress remarked that i was ordering too much which is none of her business and was frankly unacceptably rude.

Always have a pleasant experience when I eat there. One of my favourite places locally for sushi.

Lunchtime they offer 50% off. Good if you want to have 1 or 2 dishes. If you want something more, then go for the All You Can Eat Buffet. £18.80 per person, excluding drinks. You can choose lots of sushi or tempura or noodles and I can assure you that the quality is superb. The sushi and sashimi is fresh and excellent, in particular the salmon. Since I moved to North London, this became my favourite Sushi place. The fish is tender, fresh, tasty. Never had any bad food allergy or any posoning or indigestion of any kind. Highly recommended

When I was planning to go I called the shop to see what time they close which one of a the lady staff replied with 3 I said oh that's fine but the lady was not in the mood and decide to yell at me and say things like "what is wrong with that and you can check online we're busy" I was sceptical to go but my partner really wanted to when we arrived the lady recognised my voice and asked me if it was me that called I said yes and she gave me a dead stare look she run to a table said sit here and storm off. When it came to our order our food was coming extremely late. The food was good and at the end I asked them a question again about to our server which was a young lady which replied but 2 staff that overheard 1 male and 1 female started shouting around the room. It made me feel like they really wanted me off their store as soon as possible. Great place bad staff

One of our preferred places to eat sushi buffet. This restaurant isn't very close to where we live (but still within reasonable distance), but for convenience we go to another sushi restaurant closer to home, however if we are out and about, we definitely choose to go here. Service is very prompt (order via an app now), and staff are friendly. The sushi is better quality and the servings/cuts of the sushi are a lot more generous than other places. To add, they give your little one a lollipop when you leave (if you want your litter one to have one). Would definitely recommend this place.

I ordered some food via Deliveroo which was a hands down one of the worst takeaways I’ve ordered. The fried chicken I got was so pink, slimey and inedible, had to throw it away.

One of the most vile revolting places I have ever eaten in. The food would not arrive after ordering numerous times and when some of the orders came it was as if I was eating what I can best describe as matter, would be an outrage to call it food. The staff are useless and just nod but clearly have no clue what is going on, also the springroll sauce was clearly off, the staff told us "this is how it tastes". I had no clue sweet and sour sauce should taste like rotting vinegar... avoid at all costs me and my partner were mortified by the experience!

Sweet chilli sauce was off and they insisted that it was ‘how it was meant to taste’. Concerned my partner and I may have food poisoning as still feeling sick an hour after leaving and only had one small taste of the sauce. Was totally put of my food after this and the staff were not accommodating. Ordered chicken katsu and salmon temaki twice on all you can eat and it never came. Been before and it was never bad, won’t be going back. Sushi was decent though.

We love Sushimania! We eat there since they opened. We love all the food except the salmon avocado (and lately same problem is for the salmon signature rolls) .. for some reason the salmon they use in this role is not edible and not the same quality like in the nigiri...

This is our local sushi restaurant, we always have great experience and the food is delicious! We eat there at least 2 times a week and we’ve never been disappointed.

Used to be semi-decent but now it is awful. On Tuesday 13th August, we went there for a meal and unfortunately took away food poisoning. The Finchley Branch and Head Office's attitude being informed of the food poisoning was appalling, pretty dismissive. To paraphrase the manager when I informed her that we all became ill was "What do you expect me to do about it?" Public Health England have been in contact with me and my dinner companion and are investigating the outbreak as it now appears our case was not isolated, as are Barnet Council.

One of the worst experiences you could ever have! The waiters and managers are rude, deceitful and will 100% ruin your experience there. The food is ruined by horrible staff!!!!

Just ok. Service was good cant complain. Hot food was better than sushi. For a bottomless sushi expected rice heavy tasteless sushi. Nothing stood out, mostly bland food. Safe to say I wont be going there again.

Great food. Great service!. They are always try to accommodate you according to your needs. The app ordering system doesn't always work, but there's always the paper ordering form available. The food is delicious, I've never had a complaint. My children love it and the staff is always kind specially to children. So definitely a family friendly restaurant. Will definitely recommend it!

There is Sushimania, and then there is Sushimania North Finchley! Thanks to its friendly staff and restaurant manager Lilly, this is my favourite eatery. Not only because they give you all you can eat including the perfect Salmom Nigiri which is just perfectly balanced, but all the food is incredible, the staff are great. Great meal on Saturday night. Boss was able to confirm last minute table booking over phone. Food was delicious, quickly delivered to table and couldnt be faulted. Staff were quick to clear tables. App worked effortlessly. Added bonus, they were superb with allergy details so my youngest could fully join in with the meal. Thumbs up all round 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It is okay for what it is. The food is not bad for the price but nothing special. Some items were too greasy and it felt like eating oil.

Visited today to which I got the all you can eat for 2 which was around £18.80 per person. The food was below standard, we probably ate enough to cost the resturant £5.00 worth of food. The issue was when it came to paying the bill. I requested the staff to remove the discretionary service charge to which i was told "why what was wrong, was the service not good?" After i stated I just feel its too much and It is my choice, I was told by the female waiter that students are able to pay and that she won't get any money as she is only paid from tips to which i said is nonsense, I had to argue for 5 minutes which is completely outrageous to get the service charge removed to which I was told if I don't pay service charge I won't be served from her ever again. I would never have expected that nor would I ever return or recommend this shop ever. I should have got the name of the waiter but unfortunately I did not. It was a female staff that was there just after 4:30pm.
