AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I was sick immediately after eating here. The manager and his staff were extremely rude and insisted on us paying for the food that made us sick. We had barely touched it. The food was stale, chewy and mouldy. He then banned us from coming back after we complained about the food. What a disaster!

We followed friends' recommendations to come for the Bottomless Menu and came on a Saturday for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and selection of food on the menu. The rules of ordering were a little bit complicated at the beginning, but after one round of ordering, it all became clear. The e-ordering was efficient. The food was very tasty and fresh, comparable with most other west-end Japanese restaurants in London. We tried most items on the menu and were satisfied. The experience was positive, and the dining was good value for money for both big and small eaters. I would recommend it.

Ordered from a La carte menus via their web based app, on the app total came to £63.5. We didn’t want the all you eat as it had gone up in price so much (£27 pp) and we specifically wanted to spend around £20 pp max. food was brought to the table within seconds and with it a bill for £107 , when questioning the bill we were told this is the food we had ordered and can choose to take away any leftover but we’d have to pay £1 per small plastic takeaway box!! they refused to cancel some of the food alleging “it’d already been cooked for us” ..Obviously there was no way to show them that when ordering the food on the web app this was not the price it was showing… make of this as you will but it seemed dishonest and devious trading practice to say the least … decent sushi but will not be going back

Very good food and service for reasonable price💗 The only thing you might get confused is with the Online ordering and please don't get upset with the bad reception inside. The staff are ready to provide wifi access, and are very helpful. I had to apologise to a girl, i didn't ask her name.. bcz i was still having a chunk of the rice ball ice-cream in my mouth and i am too sensitive to cold. I was not able to say a word when she came to collect the vessels back. Lol 😃😃 but they are so polite Sushi and ramen lovers, the best choice for you to enjoy 😉 is sushimania

Fantastic restaurant with moderate prices. Great selection of Japanese items. Ordered a la carte of course to choose my own food 😃 Sushi was flavorful with fresh fish. The udon bowl with grilled chicken was huge and didn’t include the vegetables mentioned on the menu, but it was really good. Service was amazing we didn’t wait long for the food to hit the table. 8/10

My first visit on a Sunday. Had four sets of nigiri. Sushi rice was a bit stale and chewy, passable. Tuna looked like it was old, had very weird texture. Sea Bass had tendon. Wasabi was dry and felt powdery. Yellowtail and squid were good. Very average supermarket sushi like taste. Honestly disappointed. Expected more

Fantastic sushi and delicious food. Much better than Wagamama as excellent value for money when dining in - majority of the food on the menu is half price everyday all day. The service is superstar and ordering via the app is very convenient. Highly recommend this place. It’s a small restaurant so seating is restrictive hence the fast turnaround with service and food. The only bummer is you can’t really do doggy bags so quite wasteful of you can’t finish your meal. They charge 10% service charge to your bill which is fair considering the food is half off. The drinks are reasonably priced too. Been here multiple times as their sushi and sashimi is super fresh and well made! One of my fav places for sushi.

I like to write a honest review and this place is not good at all. The bottomless menu is terrible and inedible the meat didn’t taste like meat and had no flavour the ramen was the worse I’ve had and the aubergine tasted like it had banana purée on it. Chicken nuggets glorified as a Chinese dish which it was not alongside katsu chicken which tasted like a chicken escalope and a sauce with no flavour. And to top it off because we didn’t eat it all some rude waitress told us we had to eat it or take it home for £5 this was not told to us before we ordered I also hate wasting food. Maybe if the food didn’t taste like it was from Iceland (no offence to Iceland) we would have eaten it all. I was really looking forward to this evening for my stepsons birthday and I’m so disappointed. The only thing that was ok was the sushi but still pretty dry. Also if you have a pushchair don’t expect them to be accommodating it’s like the waitress didn’t want us there because the push chair takes up space.

I am a regular here and the food and service are consistent excellent. The poor reviews are fake, this restaurant does not offer a buffet, it’s all made fresh on ordering. It arrives quickly. The other poor review does not represent the excellent manager and staff who serve in this restaurant. I wonder how they can put lies on their reviews and get away with it. They really should be taken down. They give a superb restaurant a bad name. It’s disgusting.

So disappointed, I went there Sunday to celebrate my wife's birthday, it was the first time for me there, the waiter said that the menu on the weekends is just bottomless, but unfortunately there is no halal or fish options on that menu (nowdays I find it weird). We ordered just water while we were having a look to the menu but we had an emergency call so we had to leave, when we went to the till to pay the water the waiter said that the total was 5£. I'm shocked because I find it crazy that I had to pay 5£ for a bottle of water that I didn't even drank. I don't think I'll go there again.

Sushimania in Edgware is my preferred location, their prices are fair, their service is quick and non intrusive, and everything is done in the app. The restaurant is on the small side, so it can sometimes feel packed, but the system works much better is a smaller space. Highly reccomend for a night out!

Good Cheap sushi place, the foods average nothing to shout about but they can't be beaten on value. Their all you can eat offer is extremely cheap when compared with other sushi places. The service is good, just sometimes the staff seem a bit too eager to take your plates away. Would recommend if your looking for somewhere cheap wouldn't rush there if your looking for super authentic sushi.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the whole London, and I'm glad it's not very far from my home. Over the last maybe 7 years, I have visited this place either weekly or mostly, mostly with friends, but the last time I was on my own. The food ALWAYS starts arriving within minutes, and it's always piping hot and very fresh. The cold dishes are very good too, I love their sushi, salads, etc. You KNOW the food is good quality and authentic when you see Asian people crowding in. Great value if you go for the buffet option, too pricy for me if full price. The management and the staff are always polite and attentive, the decor is stylish and the atmosphere is nice. I'm annoyed with the management for FORCING the 10% service charge, it should be optional. I know that whenever customers refuse to pay it, the management takes it out of the staff's wages!!! I find this disgusting. I'm deducting a star for this. But I'm not employed there, so I guess that as a customer I can't fault it much otherwise. Regarding reviewers moaning about ste staff sticking to the rules, no one forces you to eat here. I read a comment complaining about not being allowed to eat "only a desert" while the whole table had the buffet menu. They probably didn't trust you to steal their food and eat for free. Also, if you're "too full" because you over ordered on a buffet menu, of course they don't allow you to take the leftover home for free. They would go bankrupt within months is everyone bought half price food to live on the leftovers for days after. The £2 charge per take away box is a steal, if you leave with half price sushi, king prawns, etc.

We had bottomless order for three ( 2 adult and 1 child). Beef teriyaki is not cooked properly and smells, we returned it. We spent more than an hour inside but we only received 1 order of salmon teriyaki instead of 2. I know it’s manager discretion but we paid an adult price for my daughter because she’s tall for an eleven year old kid and yet she only had ramen and edemame. On the positive note, waiter were attentive. Overall, not a good experience for a family who looks forward for a wonderful time together. We paid £98 including service charge by the way.

We were a party of 2. Sushi came cold, chewy and stiff, especially the sashimi, like out of a freezer. Hot food is better. Staff bought orders over that wasn't ours twice, which defeats the purpose of a "digital system", tho we remained polite and understanding cuz sure mistakes happen. However, we had asked multiple times to staff for extra tissues despite a pretty empty shop that they had time to hang around and stare. Very uncomfortable. Toilets absolutely disgusting. I am a student, my friend, on maternity, so we asked to take off the discretionary 10% charge to an already expensive meal (cost of living!). Waitress turns hostile and says, "WHY?? This is our wage!". Incorrect, it's not. Suppose it is, then that's illegal. I do not appreciate being guilt tripped and stared down by that waitress until we pay extra. That behaviour was unacceptable and abominable customer service. Train your staff properly and have some manners. This in itself reinforces why we didn't want to pay service charge. Our lunch, despite the blips above, was going pretty well up until this moment. Customers shouldn't be made to feel like criminals for optional payments. You should be grateful we didn't make the waitress' life difficult by arguing since we remained polite yet quiet, as 1) there is no point wasting energy on these type of people and 2) my friend and I both used to work in customer service jobs. But our empathy of being in the same industry only went so far since we were trained to provide excellence, regardless of getting incentives. That's what good customer service should be. In the end, she informed us she could let us pay the price of just the meals (oh, how gracious of you 🙄), but we were not welcome to come back. I do not appreciate threats. Sushimania Edgware, we will GLADLY not come back to give our custom. Thanks to you, the restaurant lost 2 repeat customers. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Sushimania in Golders Green is better, who know how to treat customers right.

Awesome place to have Sushi and other fancy food. We have been here many times and with no disappointment. Prices have gone up, which is normal. But affordable Still half price a la carte with more selection of food to choose from. All you can eat buffet is £26.80 and the selection is less than the full menu. But if you are big eater and there are many in a group to share food and easy on the bill splitting. I would recommend the buffet. Food is pretty much the same and nothing new from the last time we visited. Love the fact that it is made to order so the food is fresh. Now they have a QR code which you can scan to view menu and order via your mobile phone device which I think it's brilliant and saves a lot of time and wrong ordering. We will visit again in the near future.

We always dine at Sushi Mania restaurant everytime we are at edgeware, as we love japanese food. So far the best japanese buffet that i tried in London. Always fresh and newly cook food. Maybe not worth going for the all you can eat with children as i ended up paying £100+ For 3 adults and 3 children (ages 5, 3 & 1) They were going to charge me for the baby but the waitresses amended the bill as i wanted to speak to the manager. The 3yr old hardly eats so i though she was also exempt but nevermind, i think we overpaid for what we ended up eating (amount of food wise) Otherwise only adults is worth the money for the all you can eat menu. I have to edit my post as i was extremely surprised and disappointed to the attitude of some staff yesterday 30th Sept. 2023. The two Japanese ladies one which alwas has a straight face and the other lady that is behind the bar. We visited with my 3 children one being 16months. Towards half way of our lunch i could see those two ladies taking in Japanese and pointing with their heads towards my baby, (which inevitably dropped food on the floor) i mentioned this to my partner and we felt uncomfortable. Later i took my girls to the loo and when we came back, my partner told me that one of the ladies gave him some blue paper to "clean the floor before we leave", he shocked said "ok". I was absolutely socked as I am aware that my son drops food and I ALWAYS clean his mees everywhere i go. I even leave my table tidy! I'm those kind of people. Baby is learning to feed himself! It was unnecessary for the lady to do that! I found it very unprofessional! I am a usual customer there and I have never encounter this! I must admit that about 2 weeks ago i saw 2 young men arguing with one of the two ladies and accused her of being racist toward him. I don't feel the ladies are happy working there, but we as customers shouldn't pay for that. The manager wasn't there, so i couldn't talk to him. With sadness i don't think i will be visiting this branch in a while

Stay away from this restaurant if you can avoid it, poor management, poor food quality and a manger with a Big Ego, who wants to always have the last word… First of all, I went back to this restaurant after many years following a disastrous evening when the old manager of this same restaurant (Sushimania in Edgeware) accidentally poured a load of soya sauce on my wife’s jacket (which ruined the jacket as was in Suede). At the time instead of being really apologetic the Maher offered to waive the charge for the drinks on the bill (which would have come to less than £10). My wife and I were both appalled by the poor service and frankly poor quality food too that I said we would never go back to that restaurant ever again. Tonight being a Monday night and my usual Japanese restuatant being closed, I thought I will call and see who the new manager is, make sure whoever is in charge can look after us and only then decided to book a table for myself and a freind and give them another go… Managers name is Tony, who had promised to look after us after I explained the disaster we had there previously. Well he hardly listened to a single thing we asked for, could / wouid not ask the chef to make the dish rolls (Utamaro’s) with little less rice (as they load them up with so much rice you can hardly put them in your mouth, and at the end when we wanted to leave with some food left he would not even allow my friend to take the remainder home, so that we could leave as were both full from all the rice. Instead he refused to give 2 take away boxes without charging an extra £5 for the take away box, and willing to throw the remaining food away, despite the history from the past and the poor service he gave tonight. He thought he had done us a huge favour by giving 1 take away box to my friend without charging him £5 for it and that we should have been grateful… On the other hand Shervin who kindly served us tonight was extremely helpful and tried his best to help but clearly it was not up to him to solve the problems we experienced. It was Tony’s (restaurant manager) responsibility which sadly he refused… So in summary, avoid if you can. Their Edgeware branch is the worst of the Sushimania restaurants, and the others are not much better neither…

Friendly staff, chairs a bit torn, more of a casual dining place than a romantic date venue. To order you need to use their phone QR code and choose from an online menu. Not a fan of this I would prefer if the waiters came round with tasters because there is understandably a chargeable waste policy and you have to order blindly! The sashimi was very generous, the aubergine dish was amazing, the beef skewers were a bit chewy. Overall great value and that's reflected by how busy it is

So this is a slightly strange one but here we go. This place has a great menu if you love 🍣 and a nice selection of hot foods for the anti sushi gang which they've put some thought into as there are decent options for vegetarians aswel. It's £25 all you can eat which is excellent but you can only order around 6 items at a time or maybe it's 12 but as there were two of us I'd say 6 each. Environment was OK walls could do with some attention as there were visible cracks and paint chipping. Layout was OK but decor revamp I'm not 100% sure if it was just attentiveness or what but the staff didn't do there best to make me feel comfortable as a customer, on occasion they'd just stare which might be attentiveness but don't think it needs to be made so obvious though, either way I would go back as the food was good, 10% service charge applied and food waste chargeable (probably why they stare lol)

The “spicy” variations of their rolls just have sriracha squirted on top - quite awkward flavoring and very different from the spicy mayo I’ve had in spicy rolls almost everywhere else. The rolls don’t come with ginger and wasabi, and although I asked for it, the server never brought it out to us. Quite limited selection of rolls as well. Very much not the place for anyone looking for quality sushi. The restaurant itself is looking run-down - e.g. padding on the walls falling apart. First and last time visiting this chain.

Quality of the food was very bad and over prices. They also charge 10% service charge, I overheard someone refusing to pay tne service charge, but was told that they are not welcomed to go there again. Although, I doubt anyone would go back after eating their food!

One of the worse experience ever. I’ve been to this place many times, we came in around 21:45, we ordered bottomless menu. As soon as the rest of the customers left, the staff started to clean the restaurant (we were still eating!!!), brushing the floor, mopping, they even asked us if we want to use the toilet as they want to mop it. We were eating but we could feel the smell of bleach and other cleaning products, we didn’t tell them anything, but this is so disrespectful. Before us, the lady from the bar treated a group of 3 teenagers very rude because the told her to give them the change to a 5£ note (one of the teenagers asked her not to be rude), the same lady treated me in a very rude way when I told her that they should have let us know that we ordered something wrong that doesn’t belong to the bottomless menu, instead of charging us 20£ extra (I do have to mention that we were the only customers in the restaurant, so they could have easily told us that we will be charged extra). But that lady from the bar should get a proper training in terms of how she treats customers. We paid 83£ in the end but I feel so sorry that I haven’t left the restaurant the moment she started to treat me like I’m a stupid person. I will never ever go to this place and I will definitely won’t recommend it again.

Always have an excellent time coming to Sushimania! The bottomless sushi option is brilliant with a wide variety of choice! They also include hot meal options including chicken and beef Skewers, and noodles in the bottomless option too. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and the sake is delicious too.

Visit started off well, but unfortunately we experienced poor service and left feeling very unwelcome. Firstly, despite no clear policy on the website or in the restaurant, I was informed that all guests will be charged for bottomless despite having two young children with me, who clearly would not eat much. When asked if I can opt for 3x bottomless guests and 2x ala carte menu, I was told this was "not allowed". Secondly, despite an adequate amount of waiting staff, we kept having to ask for tissues, to clear plates etc. I would expect more attentive and diligent service for the prices you pay!! Thirdly, an incident occured whereby one of my young guests (11 years old) merely enquired about takeaway containers to one of the male staff. He clearly replied that "yes we do" which I overheard on the way to the toilet. Upon handing her two containers, as she made her way to the table, one of the female staff members snatched them from her shouting "You can't have them! They are £5 each! Did yoi steal them?!!" as well as spitting on her in the process. Absolutely disgusting , unprofessional and absurd behaviour. Maybe this should have been directed to your member of staff who gave wrong information to a customer! How dare you confront a young girl in such a manner! Learn some manners and decent customer service, and invest in some proper training with staff!!! Food was average, service poor and prices totally inflated for what you actually get. Safe to say we won't be returning!!

The Deliveroo order arrived perfectly on time, which was great, but that’s where the positives end. I ordered the pumpkin katsu - the fried pumpkin pieces themselves had very little flavour, and were greasy and barely crisp. The rice was bland and unseasoned, and the curry was poor too. I can make a better one at home with Japanese curry cubes for far less!

I was pleasantly surprised that most dishes on the menu were half price at lunchtime which made everything enticing. As with the times we had to order via the online menu which made things a bit confusing especially when I’m large groups. Things not to miss include the vegetable tempura, veg gyoza, pumpkin croquettes, tofu salad and vegetarian garden rolls. Este ha sido nuestro restaurante de lácteos kosher favorito en Londres. Tomamos el viaje subterráneo durante 40 minutos para llegar hasta allí y encontramos el restaurante cerrado. Le preguntamos a alguien en una tienda de al lado y nos dijeron que habían salido del negocio hace aproximadamente un mes. Mi experiencia en este restaurante fue diabólica. Experimenté un racismo claro como la luz del día hacia mí y mi familia. Fuimos a comer a este restaurante porque lo vimos en línea llegamos con tres adultos y uno para su viejo. Mientras íbamos a pedir la olla caliente para los tres adultos y pedir una comida separada para el niño nos dijeron que todos en la mesa tapetes pedir la olla caliente. Le expliqué que el niño no come carne u otras cosas en la olla caliente, así que iba a pedir su comida por separado que me dijeron que el gerente dijo que esto no es posible. Luego le pedí al gerente que viniera y le explicara que el niño no come ninguna de estas cosas en el menú de la olla caliente. Luego dijo que lo hará esta vez, pero si ve al bebé comiendo nuestra comida, nos cobrará por el hotpot de bebés. Luego miré otra mesa que creo que es asiática y vi a dos niños con sus comidas separadas y a los padres con el hotpot, sin problemas a la llegada. Luego le pregunté a la gerente por qué la otra mesa nunca tuvo problemas para pedir comidas separadas para sus hijos, y ella explicó que son habituales en el restaurante. Esto me hizo sentir como si fuera discriminada racialmente y hizo que los miembros de mi familia se sintieran tan incómodos que decidimos dejar el restaurante. No recomiendo esto como persona de color
